Midnight Therapy #78 - New Years Recap

Cat Matthews

It’s time for a New Year’s recap, slowing things down after the holidays and reflecting on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and ringing in the New Year — spending time with family, stepping away from the constant noise, and taking a much-needed break from the madness of politics and online chaos.

We talk about what it means to disconnect, be present, and reset — and how important it is to occasionally shut the world out to remember what actually matters.

From there, the episode looks ahead to 2026 goals:
music, comedy, podcast growth, promotion, and continuing to build something honest and creative without losing the soul of it all.

There’s also some big news:

A stand-up comedy show on January 10 at Manor on Main in Dickson City, Pennsylvania

And the start of something brand new — my own holiday, Jessup Groundhog Day, officially kicking off February 1, 2026 (more on that very soon)

We wrap it up with gratitude — thank you to everyone who listened, shared, supported, sponsored, and showed love throughout the year. 2025 flew by faster than expected, and I couldn’t have done it without you.

Here’s to a new year, new ideas, and staying grounded through it all.
