Today I got to sit down with Sister Heather Richey - a member of the Emerald Glen ward and wife to James Richey (episodes 53 and 54). I about fell out of my chair when she told me that she left high school for a year to be a foreign exchange student for a year in Australia! Some of the other highlights:
- Growing up in Boulder and in Cheyenne
- Getting to know her parents and grandparents
- Running track and being a cheerleader
- Her time as a foreign exchange student in Australia
- Trying to not get married so she could go on a mission
- Serving in the San Diego Mormon Battalion mission during the San Diego temple open house
- Coming home from her mission and meeting James
