Welcome back everyone to soul talk for the seekers. Uh, we are so excited. Well, I'm going to be honest. I'm not super excited about this, but it's necessary. This is like the broccoli. What I like, like broccoli. So that might not be a fair way to describe it. I love broccoli. So

Jaclyn:

don't say bad things about it.

Ashlie:

This is, well, I like it too. It's just how I describe things that tend to be a little more work. And a little less pleasant. And I think that when you talk about spiritual things, we've got to go into those things too. Right. And we've actually wanted to talk about this and I'll tell you what it is here in a minute, but we wanted to talk about this for a while and we keep putting it on the list and then we don't end up going there. So I think it, it fits that this is our topic for today. We're talking about how to keep your energy clean, ish,

Jaclyn:

clear, clear, ish,

Ashlie:

clear, clean, released of whatever it is that you don't desire that you would like more of all of those things. So, so that's what we're going to talk about. Feel good,

Jaclyn:

right? Like feel good and not feel like you're in the shit. This is like when life is real lifey.

Ashlie:

Exactly. And the timing is good because I'll be honest, wasn't super pumped to record today because my energy Has been a little off the last couple of days. I've been tired. I've been fatigued. I've been really pushed like forceful and trying to get myself to do things where if it were up to me, I would just be laying in bed all day. And I know we all have moments like that, days like that, weeks like that, just phases of life like that. And so it also tends to kick off. A lot of the time when we get into colder weather, and I don't know about you, Jack, but I woke up and it was 33 degrees and sometimes colder weather can bring on some of these feelings. I know myself, I'm very impacted by the weather in that way. Um, and so no wonder I'm feeling a little sluggish, not motivated. Um, I don't feel like my frequency is quite where I want it. So we're going to get into what to do about it when you're feeling like this. If you're feeling like this right now, what can you do about it? Because there are things you can do and you better believe I'm doing things actively about it. Did I do much for it yesterday? No, I'm not going to lie, but I woke up today and I was like, all right, no, we're not doing this again. We're going to change. We're going to change the record here. So, um, so let's dive in. Why don't we?

Jaclyn:

Yes. So, and it's funny, we did, we were supposed to talk about this a few weeks back when my energy was all jacked. Oh, here we are. And I was like, this clearly is meant to be shared and talked about. Um, and it's so interesting because I do think a lot of the times our energy too. So I just want to name this. gets jacked up, um, besides the fact of everyone else and besides like the collective energy of what might be going on from an astrological standpoint, right? Um, that's all very real, but I also do think it happens after like, or right before we have something massive. about to happen. So I want to name that because it is very real. So for those of you who are like, I can't stand when this happens and I'm in my shit and I feel awful and my energy doesn't feel right. That's not a bad thing. So like, let's remove, right. Which we all know when we say all the time, both of us, there's no good, there's no bad, there's no right, there's no wrong, but like, let that go. Because I do really think when This comes up a lot of the times too. It's like, let's rest. Let's allow the energy in. And it's just energy that has to move out of our bodies. And it gets to look a million different ways every single time when it comes, but I know for you, right? Like I have so many different things that I do with my energy is not. like fully aligned and feeling good. Um, and so for me, a lot of those is actually my favorite probably would be movement and dance. I don't like, I know you're going to say exercise. I actually can't stand the word exercise. It absolutely is a trigger for me. I'm like, I don't want to exercise. It doesn't feel right, but can I intuitively move? Fuck yeah, I can. I feel so good to me. So like being able to put, I have a whole playlist. Um, so and it's interesting because like I'll start with like a kind of standing, moving meditation and then it's all music that just speaks to my soul because I really like music helps me clear energy out and always brings me back to like, Peace and alignment and joy and happiness. Like I love it. So like, that is a big thing that I'll do and I'll just move my body. However it feels. And a lot of the times weights will come into that as well. Like they're there and I just move. Right, I literally just open up and allow, and a lot of times that's where my light language will come through as well, and, um, that really does help just clear all of that stuck energy that I really, um, don't want to tie stories to it, or like, why am I feeling like this? Let me sit in my shit. What is this? And not try to come at it from from like, well, clearly there's got to be something wrong with me if I'm feeling this way. And what can I say? Like, this person must have said something to make me feel this way, or am I holding somebody else's something? And it's like, who cares? It's just energy that has to move. So that's like a big, important practice that I do. And then I end it with, um, like, uh, Honestly, it's, it's another, it's part of my playlist, so it's more music, but I, it will be like a gratitude type ish song with meditation, where I literally feel the gratitude, and as soon as I drop into that full fledged gratitude and really expand, like, the front of my heart, the back, the top, the bottom, and the sides. I like come into, huh, and I feel so much better. That's probably one of like my best things, but I have to move first. What's yours?

Ashlie:

Um, I think moving first is always better for me. I don't always do that. Sometimes if I'm feeling so, um, Like, like unmovable, sometimes going straight into a meditation is better for me, but that's not always the case. And for me, if I'm not feeling great, I can guarantee you, I can track it back to the, how long it's been since I've been physically up and moving. And I exercise, I think is a nuanced thing because It can look so different for everybody. I've never been like, I could never do CrossFit. I don't want to like not interested. I don't like that high endurance kind of stuff. I love stuff that I can get into a groove and that I'm not like not pushing myself too hard, but pushing myself just enough and little spurts, but not from an endurance, like not from a fast moving perspective. Um, for me, slow moving things actually help my system and my nervous system to slow down and acclimate. So I love lifting weights, lifting weights is it's for me, it's either lifting weights or going on a walk. And every once in a while when I'm walking, I'll get the urge to run and I allow myself to do it if I get an urge, but, but it doesn't, it's not like a whole run. Like I'm not going to ever just go on a full on run with the intention of ham going on a run. Because to me, that's a no.

Jaclyn:

I didn't know you were a runner.

Ashlie:

I used to be a runner actually until I broke my foot. I learned something new every day. Oh yeah. It's that's like a, feels like a long time ago. It was before I got married. Um, you know, it was into, I was training for this 5k that half marathon, this, you know, that, and then broke my foot and, uh, um, just, Change that's got me into lifting weights. And since then I've just fallen so much in love with lifting weights and the strength tied to feeling that. And, um, and also just knowing my way around a gym, like there's something about that to me that just feels good. And, um, it's a confidence booster, even if I can't lift anything or if I haven't been there in a while, I'm like, barely like, let me grab these 10 pound dumbbells. Like I don't care. Like the fact that I can work my way around a gym and get something in like 30, 20 to 30 minutes and feel really good about it. Um, That's that's it for me. What we have in common is the playlist thing. I think that's, that's probably where there's an intersection. And then I think everything else is probably super different. Um, I have a workout playlist. I have a meditation playlist. I have, like, I have playlists for every thought, feeling, Everything you could imagine. I do. They, they always help me to move through whatever it is that I'm feeling. Another place that we're different though, is that if I find myself in a stuck energy for too long, where it's not just moving out on its own, then I do take time to journal or even just to go, okay, what needs to happen here for me to understand how to move it through? Because I think sometimes if you can tag it to something, it can give you an understanding that gives your, your physical system, the. Release of it. Cause sometimes our bodies do want to hold onto the story or we need to do something. So we have something to release. Like I can't release it if I don't know where it's coming from. And sometimes I can, but, but sometimes there is, it is helpful for me to be like, yeah, I know why I feel this way. Like for one, it's because I haven't, I've been sitting at a desk too long for two. It's because, and I told you yesterday, I was like, I have too many emails in my end. I know what it is. I've got too many emails in my inbox. I have things that are past due. And I'm feeling the weight of that. And then on top of that, I want to be excelling at everything. And so when you're not feeling like you're doing things like the basic things, well, it can, there can be even guilt and shame tied to doing the things you really want to be doing well. So, um, that's, I mean, I know that's what it was for me, but okay. That was my story yesterday, but today it's not my story. Like we're not letting that's not, not what I'm attaching to today, but I needed to put a naming around it just to be able to move through it after that. So I could wake up today, go to the gym. Get the meditation in and then show up on this. Even though I'm still like 45%, I'm not a hundred. Okay. But we're on our way there. And I know that. And to your point, um, I also know, like, while I don't love feeling like this, um, I also have seen time and time again, that it's these feelings that like, do really help move through to the next phase, to the next. next place of consciousness to the next idea to the next, like the next thing that maybe we haven't made possible yet. And so while I don't like this part, this is the necessary part of the personal, I don't even want to call it personal growth because I feel like it's just, Oh, look, I'm giving myself a chance to get more aligned with who I really am and who I always was.

Jaclyn:

Yeah, and it's so true. Um, and I do agree on certain levels. I like, it's not that I'll tie the story to it. So I'll be like, Oh, I feel so. And so you're, I totally agree with where you said that, where it's like, okay, I haven't been moving and I've been trapped at my desk. So it's not like a story, you know, that the energy's there, but you're like, okay, I see you, right? Like this is a knowing. And it's like, okay, now I do need to change that. And sometimes we do, like, so it's funny, because it's like that, if you don't, like, if your body's like, no, I don't want to do that, it's like honoring it. But when you're in that energy, your body doesn't want to do anything,

Ashlie:

right? It doesn't ask you to

Jaclyn:

do a Damn thing! You're like, no thanks, I'm just gonna lie here on my shit, thanks so much! And like, it's just getting up and taking action that you don't wanna do. And it's like, you know on the other side of it, you will at least feel somewhat better, and sometimes it's only a little bit better, but like. But it's something

Ashlie:

Yeah. I, I mean, I don't know about you, but I have phases to it. Like the first phase I have in feeling better is cleaning my house. Like, so I'll clean my house first. Yeah. Then I'll do some, I'll throw a load of laundry in. And so that's also a way of getting up. Like if it is that I'm sitting and that's what it is a lot for me's, just that I'm sitting too much like, but there's phases to it. Um, if that isn't working, like, am I taking 10 minutes to lay? And I have a Reiki table in my office, which is perfect. Cause I'll just lay there and I'll be like, close your eyes, set an alarm in case you fall asleep. So you don't like wake up an hour later, but to give yourself a roof, like a rest to then like have a chance for some revival and to get back up and go, okay, now I can do the next task. I can do the next thing that, um, you know, the next call the next, whatever it is that you've got.

Jaclyn:

Yeah, I do. Something that I do often, especially, right, I have a corporate job, right? So I am in G2 all the time. So one of the things that I do do that's super important is, is that I do get up a few times a day to walk around the block. And I literally walk around the block. My neighbors must be like, what is this girl doing? Because sometimes I'll just continue to walk around the block over and over again. But anyway, um, I will do that because that I've noticed this helps, but I also put certain things in place. Like I will stop and do like a certain breath pattern and just like really come into presence and be like, what's here for me right now and try to kind of let things go. And when I get triggered while I'm working, I'm like, okay, I am not going to, if I don't stop immediately during that trigger. And like, let me just either go walk or go breathe, even if it's one minute, of like, let me just let this go, let me drop into my body and be like, what's here, let's let it release, what's here, what needs to be said, shared, like, sometimes I just need to have a friggin temper tantrum. And I shit you not, I will literally, like, I have known to do that, like, I will throw a temper tantrum, and then I feel amazing.

Ashlie:

Feels so much better. I don't know, I'll be curious what you think about this, because it's, it's an observation I think I'm having right in the moment, I don't know that I've observed it before. So, in my corporate job, and I think maybe this, this works for a lot of corporate jobs, where there's, you know, you're working with a lot of people, um, we have a tendency, To under communicate and the over communication. And when I say that, what I mean is like, we're going to schedule a call for this. We're going to schedule a call for that. We're going to schedule a call for this. And in between, we're not leaving enough for the in between of the true action. And we're almost scheduling these calls as crutches to get things done, because otherwise we're not getting done what needs to be done rather than being in a place of look like this is, I don't know, I don't feel like there's enough space for beingness. in a job. If you don't have a full calendar of calls, are you doing your job? But then there's the, all right, well, if you don't have a full calendar, then what are you doing? And And I would, I've been really trying to be like, look, if I don't have a full calendar, wonderful. What can I do to make this better? What can I do to change the dynamic around this? What can I do to improve? But you know what I mean? Like the under communication and the over commute, like we just have. We have too many busy things to show that we're working all the time, no matter what your job is. I don't care what it

Jaclyn:

is. Right. I agree. There's no, and I'm going to call it integration time in between. There's no being time. And let's be so. I love that. We are. Integration time. That's what we call

Ashlie:

it in the spiritual world. It's integration time. Yeah. Yeah.

Jaclyn:

But there isn't. And there needs to be. And what I think is so, um, interesting is like, you're hopping from one thing to the next thing to the next thing to the next thing. Everyone is overworked over like just exhausted and you're just like, Ugh, I don't, you know what I mean? And so for me, it's so important because I cannot go back to that life because I lived that life is where I have to, I, that's why I get up and walk and I like consciously take breaths. I will like stand up and. Literally shake my body out, to like move the energy and just be like, okay, this is not it. And come back to like, I am just here for, right. Like expansion. That's what I'm here for, right? Like this is just coming up and it's okay and I have to stop and take breaks. So even if it's like on back call to call to call. I will be like, okay, um, I'm going to be late. And I do this sometimes I'm five minutes late, but it's like, so that I can like integrate and be like, okay. And I'm back to my wholeness. And I can be

Ashlie:

totally present with you right now because I just did what I just did.

Jaclyn:

Yeah. Cause otherwise I'm gone. Like I couldn't be present. And I'm like, what are you saying to me? I'm sorry. You're going to have to repeat yourself.

Ashlie:

I, I get that. You know what? I like, I am curious what you think about this too. Cause this has got me thinking all kinds of things. Like, If you're tired and I'm, and I'm thinking about my own tiredness, I'm going, oh, this probably not exhaustion right now. Well, it's first of all my own fault. I'm gonna start there. But second of all, how much, and I, and I, I think this is a question for you, and then if you're listening right now, this is a question for you to really think about and we'll go into what this means because not ev, not everybody will hearing this will, they'll go, what are you talking about? How much of your time and your like, sense of accomplishment in your day and in your life. Are you tying to the 3D versus the 5D?

Jaclyn:

Agreed, and I try to actually, um, now, currently, I try to come at most things. I would say I live more in the 5D than the 3D. I am able

Ashlie:

to Until, let's talk about what that is, because some people are going to be like, what the f What are you talking about? What 5D, 3D? Come on, Ashley and Jack, like, bring it, bring this to, make this make sense.

Jaclyn:

I'm like, are we still, are we still there? Um, okay, so 3D being this very, right, this very human world cut off from our true soul selves, right? Our, who, who and what we truly are, because we all believe and think, right, we're this human and that's it, and we, right, have limitations and we, you know what I mean, can only do what's like right here versus like, no, we're actually souls having a human experience and right. We are God. God is us. We are the light. We are the divine. We are all one really, but that's a whole nother conversation for a whole nother day. Um, so that's like the 3d to 5d for me. And I. Truly, like, so when the shit gets shitty, because it does, I'm like, oh, I wonder what is here for me, right? Like, this is just showing up as like, an expansion on the other end, like, what's here? I clearly chose this. I do look at things very differently. Like, when stuff comes up, that, right, is awful, right? Like, most people are like, oh my god, that's terrible. This person has cancer. This person's dead. Insert anything. Okay. And yes, but at the same time, no, right? Like they're so that's part of their soul growth. And so when I can see somebody like actively in their soul growth, I'm like, it's so beautiful. And I know that it doesn't look that way, right? Like to our normal 3d worlds. And when we're stuck in our humanness. But it really all gets to be beautiful because it's just expansion and growth, which is really what we're here for. So that, like, and I bring that in too.

Ashlie:

I don't think everybody uses it as expansion. I think it depends on what you do with it. Not everybody turns their shit into expansion and growth. Let's be real. Like, not everybody does. They

Jaclyn:

don't. But if they took the time, even in those moments, I do think that they would see, on the other end of it, It was,

Ashlie:

well, a lot of people, I'm just saying that there is a viewpoint that I just don't think that

Jaclyn:

they see it, but

Ashlie:

beautiful. I think that eventually my hope is that eventually everybody can see the why behind the things that are happening for them. And, and, and yeah, I mean, and I'll, I'll say. I think that that's where if you're, if you're not feeling good, if you're feeling not with it, if you feel like you're just, if you feel ick about yourself, or you're not just not fully a hundred right now, then ask yourself how much you're spending, how much of your Of your worth and your sense of value and accomplishment. Are you tying to the 3d? Is it, is it tied? And this is, these are some great real life examples. Is it tied to the fact that you have zero emails in your inbox? Is it tied to the fact that your to do list is checked off? Is it tied to the fact that you got all of your kids to school on time? Is it tied to the fact that you, um, you set the appointment for, um, for that, uh, doctor that you knew that you needed to go see, like if your worth is tied to having these things done and locked in? Then it's going to be very easy to feel shitty. It's going to be very easy, especially if you are either, um, if you, and this is for me, especially like. I, I am not a process driven person at my core. I'm very much go with the flow. So when I get too much out of that and tie my work to those tasks and to those things, I get, I get dragged down. And so I've got to remind myself, like today I woke up and I'm like, all right, I have these emails. I have these things. This is what we're going to do about it. What matters right now. What's top priority. Nothing else matters. And well, everything is working out for me and I'm lucky to have these things going on. And I might be a minute late to this and I might be a minute early to that, but you know what, like I might've been a minute late to that thing. So I didn't get in that car accident and I was actually being watched out for. So these are all happening, you know, in their own time, or because there's this lesson that I needed to learn surrounding this or that fill in the blank. So when you think about 3d versus 5d and 5d really being that. You're a whole person. You have, you're a spiritual, you're spiritual as a being. We're already

Jaclyn:

whole and complete, right? Already are.

Ashlie:

Yeah. And that you're bringing gifts to everything that you're doing in your day. If you're living from that place, oof, you're in the 5D, my friend.

Jaclyn:

Yeah, and I, it really is, when you are in that energy, life is easier. Oh my god, it is so much easier.

Ashlie:

Like, you stop pushing

Jaclyn:

against it, right? You're in flow, and it is flow, and it's like, Who cares if I have 1, 500 emails there, right? Like, everything is being answered exactly as it should, and I'm a fucking magnet for abundance, and it just gets to come. Because when you are living from that energy, that is the way it is. Everything just cut to you because you're a magnet, which is gonna be so cool because that is gonna be something that we really do tie. So for anyone who is interested, we do have our retreat coming, um, we do in Sedona, which is already half full. Right? Ash? Half full. We're Mm-Hmm. Um, which I'm so excited about.'cause we like literally. Just opened it not that long ago and we really haven't even spoken about it much other than here Other than on the podcast really not really for anyone who is interested We are going to really be getting like aligned with our energy and like learning more about how we can be Right that magnet for abundance flow and ease and joy in all areas of our life And knowing right that like shit comes up like our energy And we're still with it. Yeah. And just being

Ashlie:

tied to that too. Jack is this retreat is all about really stepping into that leader in you and, and, and really us level setting collectively into the next phase of life, which is meant to be amazing, which is meant to be, um, record breaking really in so many ways. And I think when, you know, you have this larger purpose and this, this, this desire to lead this desire to do more, to have an impact that can be heavy in itself. And

Jaclyn:

drive. It absolutely can. And that's where you do need to, right? Like, keep coming back to you and doing your work to keep your energy clear ish.

Ashlie:

Clear ish. So what are you doing today? Here's a little exercise for everybody as we kind of close out. Yes. How much are you spending in the 3D versus the 5D? How much are you tied to the tasks versus the overall purpose? Um, how much are you holding other people that you are working with, living with, loving with to the 3D? That's a

Jaclyn:

huge one.

Ashlie:

I got chills saying that

Jaclyn:

too. The people, yes, because I can just say this as we close up, for me, I truly, I struggle here and I'm going to totally name my, my shit here. I struggle with my children and I struggle with my husband. Outside of that, this is actually very, very easy for me where I, I don't get triggered by what others say. And knowing that what others are saying is really nothing more than their own beliefs and their perspective. And that doesn't mean it's mine. And so it's that living from that where it's like, Oh, there's so much love for you and your belief right now. Oh, okay. And like, not now if it's my to my husband's, I am going to own it. I may be like, what the fuck did you just say to me? And kind of go a little crazy. Cause that is real. That is me. And I am working on that. That is like one of my major things that I'm working on. So, yeah, I'm sure, um, for those of you who are like us, right? Start small and know that it's never, it's never going to be perfect. It's not supposed to be perfect. And you get to just like really honor yourself, honor your energy and really just being with you and taking the time. To check back in with you and your energy and what it is that you need in that moment. And it gets to look different every day. It gets to look moment, different moment to moment.
