The Great Depression and the 30s - Part 2
A discussion on the Great Depression and the 30s with Carolyn Wilson.
How did the US go from a ‘roaring’ and strong economy to bread lines in just a few years? Whatever the real cause of the ‘Crash’ and subsequent economic depression, the current President (Hoover) is blamed and the stage is set for a man who promises to solve all our problems - FDR. If you want to have a fuller background to the material in our series, please consider purchasing the workbook I wrote for my high school history classes, Modern United States History, published by Canon Press, in Moscow, Idaho. But whether you get the workbook or just listen, I think you will enjoy the stories and hopefully gain some insights into U.S. history, which is indeed His story!
Thanks for listening - Tom Garfield
