Thomas Season 1 Episode 22

Text us your questions!

The Battle of Britain lasted from July of 1940 until May of 1941. Hitler threw wave after wave of bombers against England but the RAF kept fighting and winning. Finally even Hitler had to admit that no invasion of German troops was going to succeed. Instead, he turned against his semi-ally to that point, the USSR, and began invading Russia in July of 1941. After Japan attacked the U.S. in December, we built up our war-making production and prepared our own plans for beating the Germans. From North Africa to D-Day, the U.S. never let up.

If you want to have a fuller background to the material in our series, please consider purchasing the workbook I wrote for my high school history classes, Modern United States History, published by Canon Press, in Moscow, Idaho. But whether you get the workbook or just listen, I think you will enjoy the stories and hopefully gain some insights into U.S. history, which is indeed His story!
