Heritage of U.S. - A US History Podcast

Epilogue of World War II

Season 1 Episode 27

Text us your questions!

What were some of the obvious results of the largest and catastrophic war of all time? We will take a quick look at how it affected the major players in Europe, Asia and, of course, the U.S. Germany was divided up, as planned by the Big Three long before the war was over. What led to the Cold War, though? Why was it called that, anyway? We will look briefly at the amazing Berlin Airlift of 1948, too.

If you want to have a fuller background to the material in our series, please consider purchasing the workbook I wrote for my high school history classes, Modern United States History, published by Canon Press, in Moscow, Idaho. But whether you get the workbook or just listen, I think you will enjoy the stories and hopefully gain some insights into U.S. history, which is indeed His story!
