Hello and welcome to Pisces Moon Astrology. I'm your astrologer, kate Leonard, and I'm excited to explore the stars with you. Hi everyone, welcome to the week of May 18th through May 24th, and get ready, we've got a spicy connection between Venus and Mars, the celestial lovers. So what I'm going to be talking about is this gorgeous trine, the most harmonious aspect in the sky, between Venus in Aries a Mars ruled sign more about that to come and Mars in fiery Leo. This is love and passion and oh my, all right. So get ready. I always know, when I'm talking about Venus and Mars coming together in a positive way, that most of my audience is sitting up and taking note. But for those of you who are more astro curious and want to know some of the other things going on, let me walk you through just a couple of significant happenings this week. First off, we've got the sun moving into Gemini on the 20th happy birthday sun sign Gemini's, and that's going to light up our communication sector and the part of our chart that's about socializing. So we've got that Venus Myers thing going on. I don't know if it's going to be socializing in groups or just one-on-one, but anyway, we're lighting up that whole social energy, which is awesome. You might want to plan a party. If you don't already know your Mars or Venus, depending on what point you're starting at, hey, have a party, that person may be there. Anyway, on May 21st, we've got the sun in Gemini making a really nice aspect to Neptune in Aries. This is a good time to bring your dreams into the light. This is like all of that imaginative stuff, our dreams, all of that stuff. Let's shine the light on it and see how do we bring this into reality or I don't want to say into reality, since I believe our imagination is real but into the material world. How do we manifest this stuff? It's a good day.

On the 22nd, we've got Mercury in Taurus forming a harmonious aspect with the North Node of Destiny. This is inspired ideas and powerful communication, but it's bigger than that. It's going to have something faded about it when the North Node of Destiny is involved. These ideas, these conversations, whatever they are involved, these ideas, these conversations, whatever they are that's the mercurial part of this. They're going to have a deeper meaning. They're going to have something to do. Something's going to come up that is going to lead us down our path in a really, really positive way. This is super good.

Speaker 1:

On the 24th we get two count them two important meetups. First, we've got the sun forming a positive aspect to Pluto. This is going to be lighting up our empowerment, shining the light on our personal power. Yeah, it's going to be lighting us up and empowering us Super good. And on that same day we also have Mercury conjuncting. That means like sitting in the lap of Uranus.

Speaker 1:

So unexpected news, startling thoughts. It may be coming from within us, right, when we're just like, oh wow, where did that idea come from? Well, it came from you and the cosmos, so really good stuff. But I'm really expecting a lot of people to be getting unexpected news. So hang on to your hats, all right.

Finally, we are on to the big event. Sorry to keep you waiting. Like I said, I know everybody's always loving the Venus, mars stuff. Who doesn't want spicy love?

Speaker 1:

Look at your natal chart, grab your natal chart. When I'm talking about these energies, there's always the sort of general significance to them. Mars and Venus are the celestial lovers. They're in a trine, the most harmonious aspect. People are going to be falling in love. Relationships are going to heat up. Mars is in Leo. That is fire. Well, I mean, actually it's only two fires, but you get what I'm saying. It's hot. Okay, that's what I'm saying. So all of us are going to get that in some way right, especially if it's hitting significant planets and things in our charts. If you don't know about all that stuff, book a natal reading because I promise you you will see your chart differently. But also look to see where Leo and Aries are in your natal chart, because those are the two houses being activated. You know the houses tell us what area of life these energies are going to be most directly playing out in. So, yeah, all the hot, spicy love stuff, right, that's like a general thing, it's happening in the sky, but it's going to have specific significance to those houses where they're acting on us. So we may also be getting some kind of harmonious, though spicy, relationship having to do with work, family, art Remember, venus is all relationships, she's art. She is making money, right, she loves money because she loves luxury. So, depending on where this is hitting you will be having special energy in those houses. Doesn't mean if it's not, for example, hitting you in the seventh house of relationships, that doesn't mean you're not going to have spicy sex, just saying, okay, hang in with me.

Speaker 1:

If you listened to last week's episode and I'm sure you did, right, we were dealing with Mercury and Venus, mercury and Venus kind of competing to see who was going to get to this interaction with Mars first. Mercury got there first but, as I said, venus is going to stay there longer in this relationship. It's really golden. So that heated argument stuff that Mercury was doing last week, we should be pretty much past that at this point, going into just the I love you, right, we should be on the good end of that. So just to let you know if you did get hit with that square from Mercury to Mars. Yeah, those arguments should be mostly over, okay, and we should have smoother sailing with Venus now.

Speaker 1:

So one thing to keep in mind is Venus is in Aries First off. She doesn't like it there. Aries is a Mars ruled sign, which is good for this aspect. But hold that good piece for just a minute, okay. Venus is the opposite of Mars. It's the yin and yang kind of thing, right? So Venus doesn't love being in Mars's sign, but Mars is making that good aspect, so it's like he's blowing a fiery kiss across the cosmos and supporting her over there. So we get more energy than we would and it's going to play out better because the host of this house that she's in, this sign that she's in, is supporting her. Good. Otherwise, venus in Aries is not such a great ride, okay. Think about this this is warrior goddess. Venus. Aries is a warrior. Aries is about me, me, what I want, what I need my way. We could call him a warrior, we could call him a toddler Both would be kind of accurate. But Venus there is saying I want love my way. I want to be loved the way I need to be loved. I am not anybody's doormat. Okay, venus is never she's always a goddess, but in Aries we're really getting warrior goddess.

Speaker 1:

I've been talking to private clients this week and a lot of them are going through what they're describing as these kind of quantum leaps in the area of their relationships, and a couple of them have actually talked to me where in the past, they've accepted relationships where they weren't treated right. You know, they just weren't treated right, even though there were aspects of the relationships that seemed like they should be right. It ultimately boiled down to these relationships ended because clients that I was speaking to, they weren't getting their needs met, they weren't being treated with respect and dignity and all of that kind of stuff. So that is over. That is over, this quantum leap. It is I mean, I don't, as an astrologer, use that language as much but Venus in Aries getting a kiss from Mars, that is a quantum leap, so to speak.

Speaker 1:

This is Venus saying like, yeah, I love you, I love you and I'm here for it, like Venus always is. But she's also saying and I will get my needs met. No more people coming in that aren't going to respect me, love me the way they should put me first. Venus is on it. This is so good. Now I want to remind you this wouldn't be as good if Mars weren't over there in this relationship, saying yes, I support you, this is his kingdom, she's in and she's getting the blessing of the king to go for it. Oh my gosh, you guys, this is so good, this is really good.

Speaker 1:

And let me clarify, just because I know, sometimes, because Venus and Mars are yin and yang, we call them male and female in that very traditional sense of what those words mean. Okay, and I know we don't look at things like that anymore, but this is an ancient system, so we have to go back to that. But I want to make very, very clear Venus doesn't only bless women. Venus is love, she's art, you know. She is that kind of creative force. I just want to make that clear so that during this talk, where I sort of necessarily have to fall into old school language, because old school people made up all this or put language to all of this stuff, I do want to let you know that if this is not about I'm talking to the girls, okay, just wanted to get that clear.

Speaker 1:

So what does that all mean. You know it means Mars and Venus. That is just passionate love. Mars rules passion, literally. He's sexual energy in that very and here I go masculine, outward, forceful, not forceful. You know that, go for it kind of way. He's Mars, he's a warrior. He's like oh, I got this. You know, I'm going for what I want, and Venus is the love part of it. I mean, get ready, I'm picturing some.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I'm not picturing it, you know what I'm saying, but I think there's going to be some steam coming from a lot of people's boudoirs. Why did I say it like that? I have no idea. But for those of you who this is not where you're at in your life, you're not looking for steamy, hot sex or even maybe a renewed emphasis on relationships. So let me break that down too. Some people are going to be meeting this person, although, given the Venus retrograde period that we've just gone through, I think a lot of you probably already know who this person is. Some people will be meeting new people because Venus retrograde brought about a lot of endings to relationships, at least if my clients are any measure.

Speaker 1:

So, whether you're with somebody that you've been with a really long time, you're with somebody and you're just starting this phase of your relationship or you're meeting somebody new. This is a passion. This is some kind of a renewal, deepening, empowering in that relationship. But for those of us who are just like not about that at this time in our life, that's where you want to be really clear on where this is happening in your chart and also remember that relationships are more than just love relationships. You could be just passionately into your friends, passionately into your art, right, there's all kinds of love out there that you could be feeling passionate, even a work project, so it doesn't have to take place in the bedroom. For those of you who are kind of like okay, you so don't know where I'm at in my life, so let's go around the wheel just a little bit, all right, and look for Aries. This is where I think you're going to be feeling this most. Okay, if that's your first house, this is really hitting you in you. You are going to be falling back in love with yourself. You're going to be finding some passionate enthusiasm for who you are in the world and just saying you know, I deserve to treat myself better. It's an interesting place. I think. First house people are going to be really loving where they come out after this.

Speaker 1:

Second house is money and possessions. So feeling passionately that you want around you what makes you happy. Is that credit card debt? Probably not. Is it committing to savings or money-making ventures to improve your lot in life that way? That's what I'm expecting. Third house can be relationships with siblings. So really uniting with your siblings in a new kind of empowered way, but also demanding that you are treated by those people the way you expect and need to be treated. It's also the house of communication. So writers I know I have a big audience of writers. This is you. This is falling in love with your writing, and I mean with your writing. Maybe not particularly with this project or that project, though it could be, but it's really about just feeling a passion about the fact that I'm a writer. I do this amazing thing and I'm going to put my truth out there.

Speaker 1:

Fourth house is home and family. So you get what that means really requiring the respect that you deserve, but deepening relationship with family members. Fifth house is sex. This is kind of weird, right. Sex, children and creativity. So artists, parents, people who want to, you know, get their groove on. Fifth house people are going to be having sex. That's all I've got to say. It's going to be passionate, hot steamy for most of you. Some of you are going to be really getting passionately involved in a project with your children or passionately involved with a new art project or an old art project that you had lost your sort of taste for right.

Speaker 1:

Sixth house is health and wellness. So, getting to the gym, eating right you're going to have a new like. I deserve this. My health is life right, I feel passionately. I'm at the gym, I'm doing the exercise, I'm renewing my diet. Seventh house is relationships. I've already gone over that one my diet. Seventh house is relationships. I've already gone over that one.

Speaker 1:

Eighth house it's interesting because it's a lot of things. It's combined resources. So if you share your resources with a partner, you may really add some energy to how you're going to invest, how you're going to make money, how you're going to build your savings, all of that kind of stuff. It's also fear and trauma, and so you may be really renewing your commitment to releasing, to doing whatever therapy or spiritual work or whatever it is, so that you can release old fears and traumas that have been holding you back.

Speaker 1:

Ninth house is foreign travel and it's also spirituality. So, ninth house people these people are sometimes running off to elope. The ancients said that in the ninth house you can put everything that happens in the temple. I'm seeing some steamy wedding ceremonies I don't know, you do you? I don't know how it's going to look, but I see that and also foreign travel. So just really saying I have a passion to see the world. I've been putting it off and no more. I'm going out and I'm doing it. 10,000 career, new passion, new projects. But also remember that warrior, goddess, demanding the money you deserve, the respect you deserve, the recognition you deserve, mars is coming from Leo. So in all of these cases but I think this is going to be especially true in the 10th house it's really like you need to see me and honor what I'm bringing to the table here. 11th house this is your tribe, this is group affiliation, your friends, this is your tribe, right? So really deepening those relationships and, yeah, bringing passion to celebrating those friendships.

Speaker 1:

12th house is a little bit interesting. It is two things. It is deep subconscious and mental health. So, like the eighth house, kind of renewing and putting passion into your healing process and in Aries, you know really taking care of. No, I deserve to work on my own wellness and remove from my life what isn't serving my well-being. But 12th houses also retreat and doing things alone, time alone, right. So it may be that like I love you all a lot, but I also love me and I need some time to be with me and deepen my relationship to myself. So it's a good time for things like yoga retreats and meditation retreats and just spending time in nature and all of that. That is healing and self-love and just life affirming and renewing love and just life affirming and renewing, but on that deeper level that you do alone. So I hope that helps as you're trying to figure out.

Where is this for me? Wherever it's hitting you and however this plays out, remember that you are the mighty warrior, goddess. You are standing in your own power and whatever is happening, however this is playing out, you're like yeah, I got this, I'm all that. This is magical, it's wonderful, I love it. Thank you for being here. Sorry, this went a little bit longer, but I know you guys like it when I break it down sign by sign. So just look for Aries. Just look for Aries. What house is it in?
