Hello and welcome to Pisces Moon Astrology. I'm your astrologer, Kate Leonard, and I'm excited to explore the stars with you. Hi everyone. Welcome to 2026. I don't know what to say. Oh my gosh, it is gonna be one kind of a year. And before I get back into the weekly forecast, I wanted to give you one more look ahead at one of my favorite, yeah, one of my favorite transits that's happening this year, and that's Uranus re-entering Gemini this time for good. So that's what we're gonna look at. It is a time to get real, to get authentic, to become our best rebel selves, and I'm here for it. I think it's exciting. And yeah, that's on the personal level. On the world stage, yeah, that's a different thing, but I'll let somebody else talk to you about that. All right, let's jump into this. First, I want to thank you. I didn't realize that the last episode was the 75th episode of the podcast. So thank you all who have been here for this ride. I just am so grateful for you. I would be especially grateful if this year you would make it your resolution to share the podcast. Please pass it on, tell people about it. I would love to see it like take off this year. I'm trying to get better. I'm open to your suggestions. Let's do this. Thank you. So, again, you know, here we are, and happy new year and what a ride this is gonna be. For all of you who have been with me, um, getting your personal year aheads, you know that I don't think this is gonna be a difficult or a bad year, but I do think it's gonna be frustrating. So I just want to reiterate that because it's coming up in every year-ahead reading I do. It is gonna be frustrating. It's gonna be a lot of change, but the dismantling part of the change, right? The breaking things down. Also, I just want to say right now, it is pouring rain outside the window behind me. I've got a cold, all kinds of things may sound funky in this episode of the podcast, and I can't fix it. So I appreciate your patience. Anyway, now Uranus re-enters Gemini, and it's important to know that it re-enters. So let's give you some dates. The initial transit started on July 7th of 2025, and it went through November 2nd. So if you want to think about what this transit is going to mean for you, how is this gonna show up in your life? Think about breakthroughs and um innovation and new ideas and new ways of communicating, an urge for independence, being drawn towards quirkier relationships, those kinds of things. Whatever it was that was kind of outside of the box for you, look at your Gemini house in your Natal chart. That period was the preview of coming attractions. And on April 25th, Uranus will move back into Gemini to do the full transit, and we are gonna be well and truly in it. So that's April 25th through, get this, May 22nd, 2033. This is a major shift in our lives. When the outer planets move, it takes a while, right, to really see what's gonna happen to us. How is this gonna affect us all the way? We've got hints, we're gonna, it's gonna start immediately when it crosses over. But we'll this is an unfolding, right? Because this is deep real change. You know, this isn't something flimsy that, like, we're gonna have a little teeny bit of a different flavor of things, and then we'll go back to business as usual. This is the business as usual now, okay? So think of it that way. All the outer planets are moving this year. Pluto already moved, so Pluto already shifted into Aquarius, but we've got Neptune, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus. Everybody's moving this year, the big outer planets. I don't mean that they're big, but I mean the big issue outer planets, and they're going to change our lives. The reason this year is going to be frustrating, and we're not going to get it all immediately. We're not going to understand, and there could be some frustration, is because life is never going to be the same. Let that sink in for like a minute. This year is taking apart the stuff that needs to go away and making those initial changes for a whole new chapter of our lives. Look back on 2025 and everything that came before and just go, bye-bye. And I don't mean in that, ooh, Kate's recording on New Year's Day kind of way. I mean bye-bye. It's gone. All right. Get ready for profound change. Uranus and Gemini. What is Gemini? It's ruled by Mercury. It's our thoughts, our communication, our way we learn, the way we connect with others. It's our social selves, right? That's a big thing that I think is changing with all that Aries energy with the Neptune-Saturn conjunction there, us getting more authentic and not wanting to be around people we don't want to be around, right? I think that authenticity that Neptune and Saturn are really driving us toward. Yeah, Uranus is jumping on board with that, right? Because Uranus is the rebel. It is F the box I've been in. I am breaking out of it. I am me. I'm gonna say what I want to say. I'm gonna be who I wanna be. I'm gonna hang out with you freaky, wonderful, amazing, unique, artsy, creative, whatever it is, tribe that other people look at and go, really? And I'm like, yeah, they're my people, right? It's that. It's rebel energy. It's break out of the box. Look at your Gemini house. This is gonna hit us in general because it's an outer planet. It's affecting everything, right? We're gonna get more authentic, more unique. We're gonna be more ourselves. We're gonna want people who fit who we really are and get ready to end relationships of all kinds because we are not gonna wanna be bothered with people that we've had around just cuz. Nah, you've got to fit with me, my own truly me self, or you need to go. Like, I don't have time to talk to you. You know what I mean? So it's big. It's big. It's how you communicate. It's like not worrying all the time about, you know, are you being tactful enough? Are you, oh, let's not ruffle feathers. Uranus says, ruffle those damn feathers. I got some stuff to say. This is big. I want to stress that Saturn-Neptune thing going on in Aries, that is the big deal this year, and it is setting the tone for everything. Okay. But this fits right with it. Neptune and Saturn are about dissolving the old ways and saying, nah, I'm not gonna play by your rules anymore. I'm going into my Aries, me, I am gonna be the champion of my own cause self. Now Uranus comes along and says, yeah, and you're gonna hear about it. If you're gonna talk to me, you are gonna know me. And you're gonna hear what I really think, what I really believe, and it might even shock you. And if if that doesn't work for you, then okay, bye bye. It's a big, big deal, and I love it so much. I love it so much. Let me tell you another thing that both the Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aries and this Uranus entering Gemini period are gonna bring about. The gurus are gone. Yeah, they're going. They're going straight out the door. All those people that we look to for guidance, tell me how to set intentions, tell me how to meditate, how to pray, how to this, that, and the other, what should I believe? You know, all of that stuff. Yeah, we're not about that anymore. That stuff is gonna dissolve. Those of us who are in these public spaces, kind of teaching, giving, like what I do. You know, I'm talking to y'all about how to understand astrology. But ultimately, you're not gonna just listen to me and go, oh, Kate says this is gonna hit me like this. So I guess I better prep just for that because she knows. And hopefully I am going to continue giving you good information that you can use. But like I always say, look in your natal chart. This has to speak to you. It's that kind of message. And if you're, I'm not calling myself a guru, y'all know I don't know, really not. But this is gonna be a year where it's not just about listening and going, okay, I've got to do XYZ because you know the experts say so or whatever. It's gonna be how does this sit with me? How do I think about this? How do I want to move forward? How do I make this uniquely mine? And I will give you a hint right now. Part of that is really applying astrological information to your natal chart. You gotta make it personal. That's what makes it real. Me just giving you these big picture announcements, yeah, that's that's not it exactly for you because it's landing in a place in your birth chart where it's speaking to other planets, it's making squares and sextiles and trines and oppositions and conjunctions, and all of those things are the way any given transit, like Uranus moving into Gemini, is gonna hit you. And that's what matters. It doesn't matter what it means on some big picture level, and you're gonna apply that kind of thinking, you're gonna begin this year to apply that kind of thinking to everything. All those influencers that you're listening to, I'm not saying don't listen to them. I'm not trying to trash any influencers. Let me be totally clear. But the way you receive them, and will you be letting go of some of them and saying, you know what, you're too much the guru who just wants followers. I'm not doing that. I need people who are talking to me. That's another thing that's gonna change this year with this Uranus. Our communities. I'm telling you, this year is the beginning. And remember, this goes all the way through 2033. We're gonna be looking for authentic community. So all of that just pay some money, go to my website, we're a community. That might vibe for some of you for real and authentically. And if it does, you're gonna hold on to it. But for most people, you're gonna be looking for real authenticity. And I think third spaces, y'all know what that is, right? I know you do. But those places out in the real community, you know, the uh libraries, the coffee shops, the community centers, the gyms, the whatever it is, the walking paths, you know, where real people meet in real community. Look for a resurgence of that kind of thing. And you're gonna say, why are you saying that? You're innocent. Gemini can be so techie. They can, they can, but they're also, and now I'm gonna get in, I'm gonna touch just a little teeny bit on the big picture um worldview of this. This is a takeover of AI. All right. Gemini is tech, Uranus is this sort of quirky, most innovative, break out of the box, the newest of the new, right? And I think there are a lot of other indicators in the world chart. AI is gonna be a thing, and I think it is going to, I'm not saying there's no good about it. I'm not, I'm not that person. I promise you, I'm not. But I do think that it's part of why when we're looking for community and trying to build community, and y'all, that means looking for your lovers, looking for your friends, looking for your colleagues, looking for people you want to be in business with. Look at your natal chart, where's Gemini? But I think that the flood of AI and as it gets better and better, and AI twins, and we don't know what's real and not real, we're gonna be craving the real. Uranus says authentic, Aries, all that Aries energy. It says authentic. So I think a lot of us, rather than taking the online canned class, we're gonna be looking for people who are doing real, you know, IRL retreats and um seminars and workshops and that kind of thing. It may be like via Zoom, but where it's live so that you're fairly sure that the people you're looking at are real people. Like I said, I think third spaces are gonna get really big. But again, it's gonna be in ways that are uniquely you, where you find your real tribe without the pressures of, well, I want to be in this group because, you know, all the cool kids are there. No, it's gonna be, I want to be a member of this community because it resonates with my heart and soul, because it makes my freak flag fly, because it it speaks to me in that language that is uniquely my language, and I feel accepted without having to conform. Does that make sense? If this is in your first house, this is about getting in touch with you in a way that you've probably never met yourself before. If this is in your fourth house, you may be letting go or distancing from some of your you're my family because blood, you know, birth certificates and things say so, and bringing in your found family. If this is in your relationship house, you may be looking at how you've defined um one-on-one relationships in the past and saying, I don't have to follow those rules. How have they made me happy? And I don't care if my relationship looks like people think it should. Same with work. I've always made the good choices that are practical. And everybody says, you know, if you really want to build your what are those things? 401ks? Yeah, I think that's what they are. You know, retirement funds, you gotta take this kind of job and you gotta work it for 20 years and blah, blah, blah. When all I really wanted to do was be a potter. I don't know what you wanted to be, a writer, a potter, an actress, whatever that thing is. Maybe you wanted to be a banker. And if that's really you, hey, go get that suit and be a banker. But it's you, it's really you without the pressure because that's the right thing, that's the good thing, that's the practical thing. If this is in your 12th house, it's interesting because you're gonna be saying, you know what is authentic? Me walking in nature, me having time alone, me going to silent retreats and really honoring the shadows and the quiet and the inner space. It's all amazing. It's all amazing. This is gonna be profound, it's gonna be disturbing, it's gonna be scary, it's gonna be like, ah, and you're gonna have to find your big, bold, beautiful self and say, yes, I can. This is me and I can bring it out into the world. That's that's what we're doing. I love this. Don't you love this? Please, please, please contact me sometime, somehow, some way, and let me know that you love it. And if you don't, if you're scared of it, let's look at your chart and see really what's going on for you. And you might be feeling scared of it because maybe in your gut you know it's it's making some hard aspects or something in your chart. And we can talk about that. Y'all, I've had a real, I mean, it's not like I didn't already know this, but it's been coming up a lot in readings is people saying, I know there's some hard stuff. I know this is hitting me in a weird way, but what's the gift or what are the strengths that are in my chart that will help me navigate this? Because your chart tells you that. It's like, yeah, you got this kind of weird thing happening here, but you have this strength over here. And that's the way you're supposed to get through this. That's how you navigate this. So if any of what's coming up in 2026 is feeling a little bit unsettling, and if it's not feeling unsettling, I don't think y'all are listening because this is a freaking unsettling year. And I'm prepping for this transit, and I'm prepping for that Neptune, Saturn in Aries transit, not consciously, but it's in my speech already. So I want to say to all of you be bold, be brave, get ready for a year that's gonna take a lot of things apart and trust, trust, trust that we are rebuilding. We're looking at a whole new phase of the world, of our lives. Of everything and let's build it our ways, each of us. What is that song? Frank Sinatra. I did it my way. That's now. That is now.
