The sky flips a switch this week, and you can feel it in your bones. Neptune steps across zero degrees of Aries—the world point—lighting a fuse under identity, creativity, and the courage to live by your own design. We explore what that “point of creation” actually means, why it can feel both magical and disorienting, and how to ride the wave without getting lost in the fog.
I break down the gifts of Neptune in Aries for artists, writers, makers, and anyone ready to rebuild a life with intention. Think vision with heat: dream big, claim your values, and start the project that scares you in the best way. We talk practical strategy too—begin boldly in ways you can revise—because Saturn soon joins the story and will test what’s real. You’ll hear how to translate inspiration into action, protect your craft, and define spirituality on your own terms without outsourcing your authority.
We also dig into the Mars Pluto conjunction in Aquarius, a high-voltage blend of drive and deep transformation aimed at systems, community, and the future. Expect a surge of initiative for humanitarian goals, along with potential power struggles and sharp words with authority. I share how to channel that intensity into focused work, avoid needless blowups, and use this moment to stand for something that lasts.

SPEAKER_00Hello and welcome to Pisces Moon Astrology. I'm your astrologer, Kate Leonard, and I'm excited to explore the stars with you. Hi everyone, and welcome to the beginning of a new era. Welcome to the moment of creation. And yes, I am talking about the week of January 25th through January 31st. And honestly, y'all, this is the beginning of what astrologers have been talking about for a long time with these outer planets shifting. This is the beginning of a new era. We won't be the same again. But this week holds some special kind of magic for us. Um, so yeah, welcome. All right, so the main thing I'm gonna talk about is Neptune moving from the 29th and final degree of Pisces to the zero degree of Aries. This is known as the world point or the point of creation, and I will get into that. And that's happening on January 26th. That's what I'm gonna mostly talk about during this episode, but honestly, the very next day, we've got warrior god Mars meeting up with Pluto, god of the underworld, ruler of power. So you can imagine that is no small thing. And toward the end of the episode, I will try to touch on that. If I'm going way too long and can't get to it, I'll do a second episode this week. But fingers crossed, I can get it all in. Fortunately, besides those two things, there's not a whole lot else going on. That's not ever true, but relatively speaking, but I did want to point out that on January 29th, we have a Mercury-Venus conjunction in Aquarius. So this is actually really beautiful energy. This is um new ideas around how to make money, new ideas about our art, our creativity, new thinking around relationships, putting some thinking into relationships, and that might be a specific one, or it might be, you know, kind of how we feel about relationships in general. So this is mind meets everything Venus. And I think it's gonna be pretty wonderful. Aquarius is forward-looking, so this is gonna have a lot to do with how we see Venus kinds of things moving forward. So I love it a lot. I'm not actually gonna talk about that though. I just wanted to point it out in case you want to look at that one on your own. So if you want to see the chart for the things I'm talking about today, that's always available over in my Substack. The Substack is Pisces Moon and it's completely, totally free. Nothing is behind a paywall. And I promise I don't spam y'all. I don't send countless emails and things like that. So go over to Substack because I discuss the same kinds of things over there, but me talking and me writing, it's just kind of a different flavor, right? So you get sort of a different take on things over there. Anyway, let's get into this. We all know that a big thing coming up is this Neptune-Saturn conjunction in Aries that is going to really start around Valentine's Day and is gonna be exact, exact on February 20th. So when that happens, that's Saturn boundaries, foundation, structure, old ways of doing things, meeting up with the great dissolver, Neptune. Whole different kind of vibe. This week we get Neptune crossing into Aries, and of course, he's there first, right? So we don't have Saturn's influence. This is pure Neptune. So before we even get into what all of that means, let's talk about the zero degree of Aries. This is called the world point or the point of creation, and that's for good reason, right? Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, and zero degrees is the first degree of the first sign. Aries is spring, it's bringing new things to life after the winter. This is the point of creation. This is the point when we get to create ourselves new. The world will probably become new as well, and that's gonna be a whole different thing. This is a point, this zero degrees Aries is the point where magic happens. You know, think about the magician card. I know that's number one in the tarot, um, but this is not the fool. This is the magician, where it's like make the world, make your world, create the life you want. This is gonna impact you most if you have anything around zero degrees Aries, and then as well in the other cardinal signs that's Capricorn, Cancer, and Libra. But don't get me wrong, this is hitting all of us. It's hitting us big time, it's hitting the world. This is too huge. So, what are we talking about creating here? This is Aries, creating our individual realities. Aries is about the individual. It's ruled by Mars. Again, initiation energy, right? Mars rules initiation, which is of course why Mars rules the first sign of the zodiac. But this is taking the initiative to create the life that matters to each of us, that is true to us, right? This is not about looking out and people pleasing. This is about what do I want to create? How do I want my life to manifest in the world? Who am I in the world? Now keep in mind, Neptune. Neptune is crossing over. You y'all know I hate Neptune, so I'm gonna give you the good and the bad. I'm gonna try to be fair about this. I know some of you get so upset because I don't like Neptune. I don't. But here's the good Neptune stuff, and it's especially good at this zero degrees Aries thing. Remember, point of creation. Neptune is all about art, creativity, um, the dream. That's what Neptune is when Neptune is good, right? Also, spirituality. So, who do you want to be as an artist, as a creator? How do you want to live creatively? Because as I've said before, when I'm talking about artists and creatives and writers and all of that, and yes, y'all, I'm talking to you very specifically. But creativity isn't just about people who make art. Creativity is how we live, right? Creativity is how we raise our families, how we show up in the world, how we show up for community, right? We want to live creatively, and that's part of what this zero degrees Aries Neptune energy is all about. But it's also about defending what we believe in, Aries, defending Neptune, spirituality, right? So it's about I am not going to define my spiritual world, life, however you want to think of that, my spirituality based on the rules that have been handed down to me or given to me by some religious structure or guru or whatever it is. I am going to define my own spirituality, Aries, and I will defend it at all costs. I will defend my art. Aries is ruled by warrior god Mars, right? I will defend my art. I will defend living my life the way I choose to live it, the way I dream it. Neptune is dreams. What is your dream for yourself? Now, your self can be community, right? I dream of being an active, productive, creative member of my community. And then community is whatever it is to you, right? Your neighborhood, your writing group, your whatever, your save the possums. I don't know, your group, your community. So when I say that this is about the self, the self is also a member of bigger groups. But we'll define that, each of us. I'm going to form my tribe that vibes with me. And I will then defend that tribe with everything I've got. I will defend who I love, how I love, I'll defend my thoughts, my right to speak. Do you see how big this is? It is us dreaming our dreams, manifesting them because this zero degrees. That's the the creation. So we will manifest this dream, but it's gotta be authentic. It's gotta be true. This is huge, y'all. I don't even know what to say about how big this is. This is the kind of time when as we're defining our lives and manifesting, creating our worlds. This is the creator God. We are literally creating our lives from this point on. It is gigantic. And remember, Neptune moves slowly. This phase of our life is going to last through 2039. This is not a small thing. This is not flimsy. This is not like, oh, I want, you know, I hope that my resume that I turned in at the Trader Joe's, I hope I get a part-time job. If that's truly your dream, I don't want to make fun of that if that's your real dream, but if it's just a thing you're doing that just for now, whatever, I just need some cash and it's kind of casual. That's not what we're talking about. This is life. This is life. This is a time when like people who work their whole lives to be the top executive somewhere are gonna quit it and they're gonna go move to someplace and have a homestead where they grow organic parsley. I, you know, something like that. Where do you home? Yes, they're gonna move to one of those homestead kind of places and do whatever it is you do on homesteads. Yes, they're gonna do that. Or say a college student who has been, you know, the hard-ass business administrator major kind of thing who decides that their true joy is comparative literature. Or they drop out altogether and they're going with the executive to the to the parsley homestead, right? It's radical. It's like I don't care what makes sense to other people. I don't care what other people validate or or think is worth doing or any of that kind of stuff. This is me, it is my life, and I'm living it my way. And you better not get in the way of my way, because I will take you down because I got Mars on my side. You get what I'm saying? This is crazy, but that's the good side of Neptune. So, for all the people who get mad at me because I don't like Neptune, did I not just do a really good job of being positive about Neptune? I did, you gotta admit that. But now I'm gonna tell you the other side of Neptune. So, yes, he's dreams and spirituality and creativity and all of that wonderful stuff, but he is also illusion, delusion, confusion. He's all of that stuff too. He rules the ocean, right? And he makes us very often feel like we are trying to see through the underwater lens, right? Where everything is distorted. So, what I would say about this time period is this is a long transit, but Saturn comes into it very, very soon. So I'm gonna say two things. I'm trying to make this as clear as I can. Don't jump off the deep end this week. I mean, do if you do. And it's gonna be Neptune moving into zero degrees Aries. So you're going to with or without my permission. But if you can hold off and start the process, like start making plans, start journaling about it, start researching it, you know, whatever it is, get started. But maybe don't quit your executive position yet. Just give it a little bit of time because Saturn's gonna come in and require clarity. And while there's gonna be a whole lot difficult about the Neptune-Saturn thing that's happening mid-February, it is gonna help us see through the illusion, the delusion, the whatever. So if you can start in a way that would allow you to backtrack, revise, change course a little bit, that would be great. So this week, I'm suggesting that we all start the process because we get Neptune in pure form. And so that the dreams, the visions, all of that, they're gonna be pure. However, maybe not clear. I know that sounds wrong, but like we're gonna be getting those visions without Saturn the naysayer. But there still is a chance that after we sit with everything for just a bit, we may be like, oh, I need to do some tweaking. Okay. So I'm asking you to go and slow down just a bit. Start, but maybe don't do anything that you can't still revise. Okay. Does that make sense? Artists, writers, creators, content creators, whatever out there, this is your moment this week. Get out there and make great art, write great things that you write, take your acting to a new level. Neptune loves acting, your playwriting, all of that. This is your time. Uh, no holds barred there. Go, go before Saturn gets there. All right. I'm gonna very quickly, I know I'm already going on a little bit long. I wanna talk about the Mars-Pluto conjunction in Aquarius because this is a difficult aspect. Now, like almost everything, you know, it's not only difficult. There are gifts that come with it as well. Aquarius is the future, it looks forward, it's the humanitarian. Aquarius wants to make the world be a better place by moving into the future. So it's very forward-looking. Pluto is about deep transformation, it's about unearthing what's been buried and bringing that into the light to be transformed. It's the movement from winter to spring. Mars is initiation and power and all of that yang kind of energy. So the good in this is that we might really feel the energy to like, I'm going to uh do XYZ to make the world a better place, whatever that is. I'm going to engage in certain humanitarian efforts. You guys, that doesn't mean we're all going out to, you know, I don't know what people do. Um, we're not all going to work in soup kitchens, though I applaud you if you are, but humanitarian efforts can be made through how we do business, through our art, through how we show up online. So please don't think of this too in that box of like, you know, we're um having people sign petitions for green peace on street corners, right? You may, that may be your jam, but it doesn't have to look exactly like that, is all I'm saying. But I do want to say also look out for this. This is happening on the 27th. It's a lot of power, it's a lot of, you know, male, you know what I mean, archetypally male energy that, you know, you've got the god of war and you've got Hades, right? I mean, be ready for conflicts, be ready for power struggles, uh, power dynamic fight kinds of things. Be ready to have fallings out, falling outs, fallings outs. That thing, be ready to have conflict with people in power uh positions in your own life, like authority figures and that kind of thing. Get ready to just sort of have the instinct to come out swinging, have the instinct to defend self, defend your way, no matter what, fight for it. That may be totally called for. You've got to make that decision, and with Neptune in the mix, oh, it worries me just a little bit because our vision can be so distorted. So if you can avoid, you know, the major falling out with your boss, your whoever you call authority figures or people who are in power positions in relation to you. If you could defend yourself gently, I mean, that is not at all what this transit looks like. But if you could, that'd be so much better because Neptune is distorting our vision and we will fight for stuff whether we're right or wrong, right? It'll be like, it looks this way to me today, so I'm gonna fight for it. And then tomorrow we're like, oh. I might have been looking at that a little wrong. So be a little careful if you can right around this time. But I do think deep transformation is going to come in all issues related to power and standing in our power in a way that serves the larger community. Again, however, we define that. So this Mars-Pluto thing has some really good stuff to it, and we'll have lots of energy and we'll feel the desire to initiate new kinds of projects and activities and such. But watch out for the sort of exploding at the boss kind of energy. Does that make sense? I really hope it does. I forgot to say thank you at the beginning of this episode. So let me do that now. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I appreciate you all for being here, for going over and checking out the Substack, for leaving reviews, for sharing the podcast. I'm really trying to get the numbers up this year. That is my intention. So anyway you can help, I will be really, really grateful. I hope you have an amazing week. I am promising you, the world is not going back to what it was. This ingress into Aries is going to be life-changing, world-changing. So yeah, that's what I've got to say. And until next week, go out and seize the energies of the stars. This is my wish for you always, and I will talk to you on the other side. Bye.
