Hello and welcome to Pisces Moon Astrology. I'm your astrologer, Kate Leonard, and I'm excited to explore the stars with you. Hi everyone! Welcome to the week of February 8th through February 14th. Happy Valentine's Day to anyone celebrating that weird holiday. It's such a weird holiday, right? Well, we got some Venus stuff going on this week. Not my main focus, but I will throw it in because, you know, Valentine's Day, Hallmark, and go eat chocolate. I don't know, it's a weird time. Anyway, we are straight up in eclipse season, right? I keep saying that. We don't have the first eclipse until the 17th. So I'll be talking about that in the next episode. But we are in the season, and I know everybody I'm working with. Everything is just so big. And I mean, if it's not for you, congratulations. Congratulations. But look at the world, y'all. What are we doing? I know, I know. That's not why you tune in here. Do you tune in? I don't think so. It's not why you listen to the podcast. But it's hard. It is hard. And this eclipse season, I mean, things are already big, big. So this is gonna show you a little bit what we're headed into because this upcoming eclipse. I know I said I'm not talking about it, and I'm truly not after this one last thing. This upcoming eclipse is a preview of what we're getting in the next eclipse series, the 2027 and into 2028 eclipse cycle. So, I mean, it's a lot, but for now, we're just gonna talk about this week. And this week is like super interesting. Okay, what I'm actually gonna be talking about is Mercury entering his pre-retrograde shadow. That happens on the 11th, and then on the 12th, not even 24 hours later, Mercury bumps smack into the north note of destiny for a conjunction, okay? So it is a very big thing. It is very faded, very karmic, and because we're in that retrogate grade shadow, it's gonna take a while. It's gonna take a minute, and there are gonna be some loop-de-loops and twists and turns, okay? Now, the thing that I'm not gonna be talking about that I know a whole lot of you are gonna be super interested in, because when do we not love everything? Venus. So, right from the start of the week on the 8th, we've got Venus in Aquarius. She's almost ready to cross over into Pisces, but she's still part of that clump in Aquarius. She is squaring almost perfectly. And this week she will go into a perfect square with Uranus over in Taurus. This is huge. Now remember, uh, before I say this, I want to remind you everybody knows that a square is a tense angle. Yes, it is. And so are we gonna see some of those tense things? Yes. But the ancient astrologers truly believed that any angle is better than no angle because we want planets relating to each other. If planets are just not even seeing each other, not even speaking, there's there's no relationship, there's nothing there. So you want to see a dead love life, then see when Venus has no aspects to her. Much better a square. So keep that in mind. Venus, you know, I don't have to tell you what she's about. I want you to look at your natal chart. Where is Aquarius? Because we may be talking about a relationship with your boss if Venus is in the 10th house, or a lover if she's in the seventh or maybe the fifth. I mean, so you've got to look at where she is. But wherever she is, she is squaring Uranus. Now, I know everybody, everybody gets all over me for this. Everybody gets so upset that I don't like Neptune, and everybody's like, What? You like Uranus? Yes, I do. I love Uranus, one of my favorite planets. Like maybe my favorite planet. I don't know. Anyway, I like him a lot. He's the rebel, he's the do-it-my own way. Um, he's surprised, he's big change. Yes, he's often unexpected events, right? So this stuff can come out of the blue. But I will tell you what Uranus never is. He is never ever boring. And that's why I love him. Okay. So we've got Venus in a tense aspect with Uranus. So what could this be? This could be faded meetings where it's just like, whoa, where'd you come from? You're interesting. Maybe somebody that rubs you the wrong way, right at first, and then you're kind of like, ooh, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe you're not kind of a butthead. Maybe you're kind of interesting, right? And it could be like those kinds of things, those weird dynamics that are sometimes super duper fun. Um, this could be unexpected um changes in relationships. Now, are there gonna be some breakups? Absolutely guaranteed. Could also be rage quitting at work if this has to do with money issues or the relationship with your boss. Could be all kinds of things. It could be big blow-up things like that. But it can also just be like really unexpected things having to do with your creativity, your art, unexpected changes in relationships, or maybe those very cool times when you think you're fighting and then it ends up in the best makeup scenario, whether that's really good makeup sex, or you know, some other thing that it's like, oh my gosh, we fought that thing out and now we're closer than ever. It's a possibly very cool aspect. Oh, and don't forget, you know, as we're headed into eclipse season, we are going to be getting more and more of this sort of unexpected kaboom kind of energy and this Venus Uranus square, I think is one of those. Okay, so I said I'm not talking about that one, even though I blathered on for quite a while. Let's get to Mercury. So on the 11th, he goes into his pre-shadow period. So what that means, and this is gonna happen, I'm in Pacific time, it's gonna happen at about 212 Pacific time, so adjust for your area. But what that means is Mercury is entering the degrees that he's gonna cross back over during his retrograde, right? So the way a retrograde works, he passes through these degrees going forward. He's gonna retrograde back over these degrees, and then when he turns direct, he's gonna go forward over them, making a third pass. So that's important to know. Anything that happens this week that has to do with Mercury, that's communication in all of its forms, that's writing, that's all things like social media, electronics, tech, tech communication, that kind of stuff, right? It's all of that sort of thing, any kind of communication though. It's contracts, it's did I say writing? It's writing, it's all the stuff, all the Mercury stuff. Oh, Mercury is also where Venus is money, she's the money we spend that feels good, right? She's money that buys us what we want. Mercury is the business side of it, like how we make it, our contracts, our negotiations. The ancients said that it was what we do in the marketplace. So all of the communication that has to do with raises, how we're gonna work, you know, all the stuff. I don't even know, but you get what I'm saying. So we can be very much connected to work. Again, look and see. This is all happening in Pisces. So find Pisces in your chart. We've got this on the 11th, Mercury entering shadow. What that means is we are starting the Mercury retrograde period. Um, what happens this week with Mercury? You're gonna be revisiting it and then smoothing things out, revising, refining, redoing all the stuff. And then you're gonna go over it again. So even though what I'm about to talk about, Mercury joining the north node is super gigantic, it's weird because the north node is that karmic node of destiny, right? It's faded, it's that big energy that helps move us along our path, helps push us where we're meant to be going. Remember that eclipses happen when the sun and moon are in close relationship with the nodes. So again, we're getting a taste of that pre-eclip. We're getting that eclipse kind of energy, right? Because we've got the node involved this week. Okay, big picture, gonna take some back and forth, all of that. Let's talk about what Mercury conjoining the North Node actually means. This is actually such a great aspect. We are talking about inspired ideas, but not inspired in that like small eye kind of way. I don't even know what that means, but I'm talking faded. I'm talking karmic. Like we get the word of the goddess speaking in our head, right? Like some ideas just come through. This is in Pisces. So this is that spiritual, intuitive blast of knowing that's gonna come to us. How cool is that? But it's also inspired speech, inspired conversations. So we'll just have the right words. We will meet up with the person we're meant to have a conversation with. We will find the words that say the thing right. Yeah, this is gonna be those synchronous meetings, just those connections. Very, very awesome. For my writers, content creators, all of you kind of people, this is gonna be a time when inspiration is just coming from your soul, coming from the universe, right? This is that Piscean waters of that amniotic fluid where great things are born, right? And this is gonna be super faded. If you have contracts to negotiate, this is a time when if they're meant to be, boy, howdy, they're going to be. So I want you to keep in mind, if they're not meant to be, if you were hoping that some job was gonna come through or you were gonna be able to sign some contract or something like that, if it doesn't happen this week, then take that as a sign. Pat yourself on the back and go, awesome, I dodged that bullet. Because if it were meant to happen, if it were faded this week, it would happen. Okay, so all of that's sounding super good. Who doesn't want to be inspired? Who doesn't want to make great contacts? Oh, it's also a really good time for faded social events, so networking. I tell everybody all the time, I have people come to me who are really anxious about finding their right relationships. And when I ask, like, what are you doing? What are you doing to find that person? And then I find out they're either so depressed that they're doing like nothing at all and they're sitting at home and and and just feeling terrible, or they're working 20-hour days, seven days a week, and they really hope that the UPS guy who comes in the door is gonna be the one. It doesn't work like that, you guys. So even when things are faded, you gotta open the door, right? You cannot go hide in a bunker by yourself and have great things happen. I mean, maybe, you know, I mean, I guess you could if there's a bomb going on outside, and maybe Mr. or Ms. Wonderful jumps into your bunker. But you get what I'm saying? It's not so likely, right? You gotta give the universe something to work with. So think of this week as a really social time. I'm not saying go out to every club and bar and weird hiking trail, whatever you do to where people are. I'm not saying go to everyone and fake it. I'm just saying think about what you want. Is this hitting in your 10th house of work? Then how can you maybe invite some of your work people out for happy hour or whatever? Is this happening in your seventh house of one-on-one relationships, your marriage house? If you have a partner, maybe you want to plan something special. It's the week of Valentine's Day, after all, because maybe some magic is gonna happen in the conversation that takes place there. If you're looking for a relationship, Mercury's all about social connectedness. And so we've got the north node of faith there. But go out, go do the thing, invite your friends out, have a meetup somewhere, and at least give the universe a way to get that person in your space, okay? If you need to have family conversations, it'd be good if you were maybe talking to your family. You get it, you know how to do this. Look and see where it's at. I do want to give you a hint about this one though. It's happening in Pisces, so that's where you really want to look at things, right? Where is Pisces in your chart? But you might also look at the other Mercury-ruled signs. So where is Virgo? Where is Gemini? Because those may be areas that are impacted as well. So where the event is happening, Pisces is the most obvious house that this is gonna hit in. But you will often see, especially in something this big, when we have the node involved, we're right before an eclipse that's gonna involve the node. We've got the node involved, this is really faded. Mercury's getting ready to do his retrograde, so that's a big deal as well. So look at Gemini and Virgo, see what's up with them. You might find some hints about um how this may be impacting you, what areas of life? Okay, and then back to the obvious. I know I'm repeating myself, but I really want you to get this. You're gonna be hit with this big kaboom faded something. But then Mercury's gonna go forward, Mercury's gonna retrograde, there's gonna be something in this storyline. I promise you, there's gonna be something that comes up in this whole thing that you're gonna be going back over. If this has something to do with a promotion at work, a raise, a new job, whatever, you're gonna be revisiting that contract and maybe renegotiating some part of it or something like that. If it's something to do with a relationship, you know, you may be coming back together and like, oh, that date we picked to get married, because you know it's Valentine's Week and all that famous stuff is happening too. You know, that date we picked isn't gonna work for us. We're gonna have to pick a different date. All I'm saying is don't get frustrated when that happens. That doesn't mean that that thing that you thought was the big faded event, North Node, yeeha, right? It doesn't mean that that wasn't it. This has revision built into it. That is part of the faded story. Okay, so don't worry, don't freak out. It's all gonna work out the way it's supposed to work out. You just have to hang with it and just know that the negotiation, the back and forth of it, the little loop-de-loops we're gonna be going through, that just is part of what it's about. So, the other thing I want to remind you all, and this is gonna be true for all of the Mercury retrograde periods this year, they're all in water signs. So, we need to be fluid in our thinking. We need to soften up a little bit. Somebody's not your type or not the type you've ever been attracted to before. Maybe that's true. Maybe that's not the one for you. Or maybe you need to be a little bit more fluid and look deeper, look into the soul for the soul connection. You know, this job is not the job you had dreamed of. How could it be your faded position? Soften up, go deeper. Is it the stepping stone that leads to the best job in the entire universe? This conversation doesn't seem like such a wow gift from fate, right? Does it have the potential to lead somewhere? So soften up a little bit. Get ready to go a little deeper in your understanding. Does that make sense? I don't know if I'm being clear about that, but this is water, this is Pisces, the moats like the ocean. So when you're going through whatever this is, go deep and feel it. Feel it. Don't just look at the surface. Don't just look at like, oh, that's not the title I wanted. He or she has brown hair and I like red hair, you know, whatever it is. Go deeper and feel it. You writers, content creators, all of you people, same thing. Oh, I don't write poetry, I write journalism. Well, maybe it's time to explore something new that goes deeper into your emotional reality. All right. So I want you to keep that fluidity, that oceanic depth, that spirit in mind. And that will also help you, that fluid energy will also help you sort of ride the waves, ride the current of this mercury retrograde. That's how I want you to think about it. Not like, oh my God, now it's retrograde. We have to do all the do-over stuff. Just say no. I'm like, I'm on the inner tube like a kid at the lake, and I'm just bobbing around and we're getting there, you know? This is really, really good, you guys. It really, really is fate. Big stuff is gonna come out of it. Um, we got Venus meeting up with Uranus. You know, I I wrote in my Substack, I didn't say it earlier, but the classic Venus Uranus love story is you go to a protest and you meet that person holding that really cool protest sign and you fall madly in love. That's Venus Uranus, right? I love it so much. So if you're going to protest, keep your Eyes open, read all those signs, look underneath them, see who's holding them. He or she might just be right there. We got a lot of stuff going on, and it's all big, but this week I'm I'm kind of loving it. So I'm wishing you all the best week ever.
