Hello and welcome to Pisces Moon Astrology. I'm your astrologer, Kate Leonard, and I'm excited to explore the stars with you. Hi everyone. Welcome to the week of February 22nd through February 28th. And the one good thing we can say is we are on the other side of this eclipse. I will tell you, I didn't expect it to hit as hard as it did. So we're not going to talk about the eclipse today. I've got other stuff to tell you about, but I just wanted to lead by saying we're on the other side of it. If you've been feeling exhausted and kind of melancholy, that should start to clear up. Now let's talk about what we're really talking about. First, thank you so much. I don't even know what happened. My numbers tripled for the podcast. So thank you all very, very much. I guess that is a clear indication that you absolutely do want the sign by sign readings. So I will happily supply those for you. I'll keep doing the sign by sign. And yeah, pretty exciting. So we've got a lot to talk about because while it's not eclipse week, it is big, big, big. All right. So what I'm gonna actually be talking about is the Mercury retrograde. Yep, that is happening this week. Yes, if it wasn't enough that we just did that whole eclipse thing, but there's a whole lot of other stuff going on that I want to make you aware of. We start the week with Venus, the lesser benefic in Pisces, making an auspicious trine to Jupiter, the greater benefic in Cancer. So this is a really good day. I mean, the kind of literal label I would put on that is expansive love. But it could be expansive anything, Venus, right? Relationships, connections with people, and also money and creativity. All right. So expansion in all Venus things. So that sounds great. That starts our week, and we're all like, who doesn't want the two benefic planets making the most auspicious angle? Well, it's just that that's not where we stay, right? I hate to say it to you, but it's almost like a cruel joke. You know, we get this awesome beginning to the week, and then we get the rest of the week. No, no, it's actually not that bad, but it is going to involve Mercury retrograde, so it's not that good either. All right, so we get the Manefic Planets making a trine, expansive love, expansion in money, all of that good stuff. And then on the 25th, so three days after all of that amazing good stuff, Mercury goes retrograde. That that just is what it is, right? We all know Mercury retrograde, communication snafu, and you know, all kinds of misunderstandings and revising and redoing and all the stuff, but we're used to that. It's not that big of a deal. Except that Venus that is just coming out of that beautiful trine with Jupiter is running smack toward that Mercury, which just now turned around and is running straight at her. Do you get what I'm saying here? So, like they were both going in the same directions as planets do, and then Mercury turned around, and they're only a couple of degrees from each other anyway. So technically they're already conjunct, and now they're pointed straight at each other, and they're gonna do a meetup, okay? And and um, Venus will eventually move beyond Mercury, but not this week, not until next week. So we just come out of that really, really blessed thing. Then we get this Venus running into Mercury retrograde. So I'm pretty much thinking that whatever blessings we have at the beginning of the week, they're immediately going to need some kind of rethinking, redoing, revising. All right. And I am gonna go into the sign for sign, sign by signs for this. Okay, so hold on, but I just want you to know what energy we're talking about. All right, so the other thing that Mercury retrograde smashing into Venus can be is all kind of snapus with money, work, contracts, things having to be redone, renegotiated. They both have to do with money in the sense that Venus is money, and Mercury is like like the business dealings that get us money. So yeah, them running into each other. I'm thinking some people are gonna be having some, I don't want to say hard times necessarily, but maybe frustrating times at work. Um, maybe having contracts fall through or need to be renegotiated, things like that. Um, you might find that people are paying you slowly if you're in one of those kind of jobs, you know. The other thing it is though, is um renegotiating relationships. So if you're already in a relationship, this may be like we have to talk, honey, let's sit down, we have to have one of those talks. And if you're not in a relationship, consider that you may be rethinking what you want in a relationship. The other thing that I think is more likely though, is that you might be finding old lovers coming back around, old relationships that you would thought were done and over with, that not quite so much. Keep in mind later this year we're gonna get a Venus retrograde. So this is one of those things up this year, okay? All right, so the one other thing before I get into the sign by sign that I want to make you aware of. On the 27th, and again, check your time zone. Mars in Aquarius is going to square Uranus in Taurus. Taurus is all about security. Uranus is there. Make it go boom, shake it up. That's what Uranus in Taurus is. And it's making this very tense angle, the square with Mars. All right. And Mars is in Aquarius. It's about, you know, the whole theme this year, if you've been listening to the podcast, is about breaking down the structures, creating a new life and a new world. We are not going back, people. And I think this is part of it because we're gonna shake up our security and we are gonna have to navigate moving into the future. So just more of that energy. If you haven't already started looking at how your life is gonna be changing this year, yeah, start looking at it because I promise you it is. The other thing that Mars Square Uranus can do is like people blowing up at you just out of the blue, or you blowing up at other people out of the blue, right? So I don't know, I'm expecting some angry stuff, you know, combative things that seem to come out of nowhere, all of that. Stand in your truth, stand in your authenticity, and just get through it, okay? It with Aquarius in the mix, you know, taking a little distance would be a good thing. Now, we're gonna talk mostly about Venus and Mercury retrograde meeting up. That's happening in Pisces. So if you want to follow along, even though I'm doing the sign by sign, look at your Pisces house, okay? Let's start with Aries. Oh, let me remind you all, you want to look at your rising sign if you know it, your ascendant or rising sign. That's the same thing. Y'all know that, right? But whatever you call it, that first house, that's what you wanna look at. If you don't know it, listen for your sun sign. And if you listen to your moon sign, that tends to show you a more internal experience. So if you want the most comprehensive reading, listen to your rising. That's gonna be the most accurate. Your sun, that's gonna be important. And then the moon is gonna give you that internal thing. Okay, here we go. So this is for Aries. Aries, this Venus Mercury meetup, Mercury retrograde meetup, is happening in your 12th house. So this is all about stuff you're doing behind the scenes, stuff you're doing in secret. You guys could be doing some secret lover stuff. Like the ex who went off and married somebody else comes back around, and y'all are meeting up behind closed doors, if you get what I'm saying. If that's not your story, and I realize that's gonna be very few people, but I promise you it'll be it will be some. This could also be just rethinking business, rethinking money issues and stuff, and making plans, but you're doing that kind of behind scenes, behind um closed doors. You're not letting the boss know yet. You're not making it a public issue yet. You're working on your revised plan. It could be also things though, like secret love getaways, honey, let's run off unexpectedly on a, you know, for a quiet lover's retreat kind of things. Retreats happen in the 12th house. So it's an interesting one for you. Interesting for Aries. Okay, Taurus. This is happening in your 11th house. This is your tribe, this is group identity, your friends, um, community, social, political affiliations, all of those kind of group identity things. And there's gonna be some snafu there, is what I think. This is like friends getting together and not seeing eye to eye, especially, you know, friends with women, relationships with women, that's Venus, but having to talk out problems, revisit things that you thought were already settled. This could also have to do if you're involved with actual organized groups where you're kind of like, oh, we thought we were, you know, putting on the fundraiser this way, and we kind of have to rethink it because the venue fell through, right? That's a very, very mercury retrograde kind of thing in the 11th house. All right. Okay. Oh, and if it's love, it would be in the friend zone. So the other thing this could be, oh, Taurus, I'm not done with you yet. The other thing this could be is either friend zoning somebody that you thought was gonna be a lover or has been a lover, and you're kind of like, you know what, maybe let's just be friends, or the other way around. Like, hey, I know we had talked about it and we were gonna keep it casual, but I don't wanna so remember the north node is in this little cluster this week. And so some faded stuff, I don't know, that could be kind of interesting. All right, moving on to Gemini and Gemini, this is in your 10th house. This is very literally career kind of stuff. If it's relationship, it's gonna have to do with relationships with bosses and co-workers. The sun is there at this time. So it could be with your boss, but definitely with coworkers. If it involves love, this is gonna be like, you know, the guy or gal in that cubicle over there just catches your eye. Um, but more likely this is business related with you and it's gonna be rethinking, renegotiating, revising contracts, you know, all of that kind of stuff. It's pretty straightforward for you, Gemini. And the kind of cool thing about it is Mercury is your chart ruler. So if you're a Gemini rising, that Mercury is you. So you're the one renegotiating. Kind of like it. I kind of like it. All right, moving on to cancer. Cancer, this is happening in your ninth house. This is foreign travel, foreign culture, higher education, and spirituality. Okay. Um, so this is exactly that. I mean, Mercury rules education. So are you considering going back to school? This could be that you're rethinking how you're paying for school, you've decided you're gonna take out some student loans or you're not, or whatever. Um, this could also, though, have to do with publishing. Now, when I say publishing, that could be a book, a magazine, a Substack, a podcast, a YouTube. Back in the day, ancient astrologers didn't have podcasts and YouTube, right? So publishing only meant traditional publishing. But that's not that's not all it means now. Okay, so if you've been planning to launch your um whatever it is, your your podcast or whatever, you may be finding that you want to go back through it and revise your thinking about it a little bit, restructure it in some way. How will that happen? Restructure it with Venus ideas in mind. What will make it more lucrative? But also what will make it more appealing to women? What will make it more unifying? Because Venus loves relationships. So, what will bring people together? Did you think of that when you were planning your book, podcast, YouTube, whatever? So that's the kind of thing that could be coming up there. The other thing that could be happening is foreign lovers. And if you have a lover who, for whatever reason, in whatever way you identify as being from a culture other than yours, yeah, this is talking about that for sure, then for you, right? And there'll be some kind of renegotiation. Maybe do you want to live in this culture or that culture, those kind of things. If you've been planning long distance travel, chances are you're gonna have to restructure that, replan that something's gonna go wacky on it. And of course, this is Pisces, the spiritual sign in the house of spirituality. So you may really be rethinking your spirituality. You know, how you've envisioned that in the past may not be exactly right for you anymore. And remember, I mean, this year is all about sort of uh reinventing the world and moving into a new phase of life. So you may be deciding that how you define your spiritual world, your spirituality needs to go through some changes. Okay. For Leo, this is happening in your eighth house of joint finances. Okay. This is like really rethinking the budget, rethinking investments, rethinking the portfolio, rethinking all of the stuff that involves joint finances, rethinking debt, your relationship to debt. Do you want to take on a mortgage? All of that joint finance kind of stuff. And this is really going to be about going back and getting very realistic about money and how you want to allot it and all of that kind of thing. You could be deciding that your first priority is getting out of debt. Um, this is the kind of thing that comes up though for a lot of people when they need to rethink their investments. So if you're one of those people with a portfolio, I don't even exactly know what that means, but I know some people have them. If you're one of those people, you may want to look at it and see if you want to juggle around. You know, you've been investing in one kind of thing, and maybe it's time to rethink it and put your money in a different kind of investment. The other thing this is gonna have to do with for some of you is trauma, fear, healing. The eighth house, besides being joint finance, is also trauma and fear. And with Mercury there, that's the mind. And Venus is love. And so you may find that you're really needing to reconsider what kind of therapy you're going through to deal with your trauma. Um, but you may really be starting to understand that healing for you needs to start with self-love. So rather than focusing on the trauma and healing from that, focusing on learning to love yourself fully and completely and having that be a starting point. And I know I'm getting a little specific there, but I do medical astrology, and that's what I'd be talking to you about. Okay. So anyway, those are your possible issues. Virgo, this is happening in your relationship house. Okay, so we know this is not about money. I don't care. It just isn't. Could it be? No, it couldn't. This is gonna be something talking to communicating with your partner about some new ideas or things that just need to be revised in the relationship, right? If you don't have a partner, and I've been talking to a lot of clients recently who kind of fall in this category where they don't have a partner and like they had decided that they didn't want one, that they were gonna stay single forever, and now they're starting to reconsider that, or they've always looked for the kind of partner who is like this, you know, X, Y, Z has these kinds of characteristics. And now they're finding that they're being drawn to a completely different kind of person. So there's gonna be some kind of revision either in an existing relationship or in the idea of relationship and what you're looking for and that kind of thing. Make sense? Libra, this is happening in your sixth house, which is interesting. This is day-to-day work, right? Your day-to-day routines. So, not what is your job, but more how you structure your work, like what hours do you work, what work in what's your work environment like? So you're probably gonna be going through and looking at the day-to-day structure of your life and feeling like it's time to make revisions. And there'll be Venus kinds of revisions so that things are more comfortable and more soothing and all of that. The other thing that sixth house is, and this is going to be true for a lot of you, it is physical health. Okay, so this is like rethinking your health routines, exercise, diet, all of that kind of stuff, and really thinking about, you know, have I been honoring myself completely? Have have I slacked off on my diet, on my exercise, whatever it is, to where I'm not really showing myself the kind of love that I deserve by taking care of my own life. Life in my own body. So it's gonna be some stuff there. You might consider gentle approaches. The sixth house is Pisces, that's fluid movement. You've got Venus there, that's stuff like dance and creative flow kinds of things. All right. So this could have a lot to do with health. And I'm finding for a lot of clients that I'm reading for right now in year aheads and solar returns and all of that kind of stuff, a lot of people have health themes coming up strong for them this year. This is, I think, as we're moving into this new world that we're we're inventing as we go. I think health is going to be a really big priority for a lot of us. Okay, Scorpio. This is happening in your fifth house. This is creativity, sex, children, leisure activities. And so it's a revision there. Um, this could be people deciding, you know, I never wanted children, now I do. I always thought I wanted children, now I don't. However, I think that one's less likely because with Venus there, if it's about children for you, it will probably be more like rethinking in the direction of, yes, I do want to have children, okay, for most of you. But the other thing this is is just like maybe talking to partners about how you want to have sex. That's gonna be a big one here because it's kind of like this is the house of sex, and we're rethinking it, right? And so it may be like, yeah, that used to work for me, but I think we need to talk. So have those conversations. That's the kind of thing the Mercury retrograde is is good for, yeah. Now, I know a lot of people who listen to me are writers, content creators, things like that. This is actually a fantastic aspect for you. All my writer, Scorpios, okay, this is Scorpio rising, writers, content creators, all y'all. This is revising passion projects, revising, yeah, revising your art to get it out there. But the north node is there, that's fate, the sun is there, fame. This is a good time for creative Scorpios, all right. Look at your projects and revisit, revise, rethink. It Venus is art. It's good, it's good for y'all. Sagittarius, this is happening in home and family. So this is literally gonna be about sort of revisiting topics with your family that you need to have conversations about, but they'll be loving conversations, but there is that sense of revisiting. So, yeah, this is rethinking your home environment. So remember, fourth house is our home and family of origin, but it's also the home and family that we make for ourselves at the other side of things, right? On the other end of life. So you may be Venus is about beauty, right? And luxury. Venus rules Taurus, who's all about comfort. So this could be really rethinking your home environment and saying, you know what? I work from home, I want home to be my haven, whatever it is for you. And I want to make it beautiful. I've had this is another one that a lot of clients are talking about, really wanting to nest. And they want these lovely homes where no matter what kind of crazy is going on on the job, out in the world, whatever, they have these beautiful homes to retreat to. That's going to be for a lot of you, Sag. We've got Capricorn. This is happening in the third house. I always forget to say when I talk about this, this could be conversations with siblings, especially sisters. Venus rules sisters, third house siblings, conversations, revisiting something. Yeah, revising agreements, revisiting conversations that you've already had. So for a lot of you Capricorns, this is gonna be conversations with siblings, especially sisters. But third house is also just communication in general, but it's local community. So it's not gonna be like communicating with everybody. This will be people close to home. This could be revising your writing, this could be rethinking how you put your message out into the world, your style of communication. If you've been thinking you'll do a podcast, maybe you're changing your mind and you want to do a substack. You know, if you're if you've always been sort of putting your message out through writing, you may decide that you want something that's got a visual element to it, because Venus would bring that in, right? So this is some kind of rethinking your communication, and it can definitely have to do with siblings. All right, we're almost there, we're getting there. Aquarius, this is hitting you in your second house, and this is straight up about money. So this is in some way now where eighth house is joint finances, so debt and and investment and stuff, second house is your money, your net worth. And so this is gonna be rebuding, rethinking um how you make your money, rethinking, yeah, your budget and how you make your money and things like that. Maybe renegotiating contracts that could come up in second house, since Mercury's there, absolutely could come up there. So renegotiating contracts, making deals, revisiting deals that have been sort of on the table, that could be coming up for sure. Asking for raises, or if you thought you were gonna ask for a raise, maybe rethinking that. Okay, money issues, revising them in some way. All right, and finally, Pisces. This is happening in your first house. So this is rethinking issues having to do with your looks. First house is our body and how we look. So this is like a perfect time to change your style. Like, whatever. You just totally, I'm not gonna dress like that anymore. I want different hair. I'm gonna totally rethink my look because Venus is about looks and beauty and all of that, right? So I'm expecting some glow-ups with the Pisces. And if not glow-ups specifically, at least updating the look. But this is also on a deeper level, going back in and taking a new look at how you love yourself. This is about self-love and kind of rethinking how you honor yourself. So self-love, looks, glowing up, all of that kind of stuff, but this is really um focus on you and becoming. Remember this year, the north nodes with these two, right? So it's gonna be faded. This is not flimsy. Like I used to wear berry color lipstick, and now I'm gonna go to wine. You know what I mean? It's not like that. If it's a if it's a change in your looks, it's gonna be a big one. It's gonna be a serious one. But I think for you, Pisces, I think this is gonna have you diving deep into your soul and really saying, how do I better honor and love myself? Okay. So there we have it. Now, on top of all of this stuff, you guys, expect all the regular crazy Mercury retrograde stuff. Cars are gonna break down, emails are gonna go wonky, the computer's gonna glitch when you most want it not to, Zoom's not gonna work. You know all the stuff. Of course, all of that is gonna happen too. But I hope this sign by sign reading was helpful for you all. It's an interesting week. It's a very interesting week.
