Why A Weekly Overview

Hi everyone! Welcome to the week of April 12th through April 18th. And what a week it is. There is so much. Let me tell you what I've got planned for you. Today, right now, as I'm recording, I am going to do an overview for the week because honestly, there is so much power and so much going on that to break it down sign by sign, I would literally need to do a three-hour episode. And I know y'all don't want that. So what I'm gonna do is give you the overview. Most everything is happening in Aries. So look to your chart, find which house is occupied by Aries, because that's gonna be getting it this week, right? Um, but there's other stuff going on as well. If possible, and I am pretty sure I can do this, but not a hundred percent sure. I will do a second episode this week and do the main transit that I'm focusing on, which is Mars conjunct Neptune in Aries. I will try to get out a second episode of the sign by sign. But y'all, I'm doing this for a reason. It is really gonna help you most, I think, if you listen to this episode of the weekly overview. Okay, because honestly, this week, you know, and I'm not gonna go into the mundane astrology, which means the astrology of the world and politics and all of that. I'm not doing that. But I think if you look at the news, you can probably tell that this is a massive week. Yeah? All right, so let's get into it. Oh, and the one other thing I wanted to do is first, thank you all for being here. And second, this is the 90th episode of the podcast. I am blown away. So, let me give you some of the other things going

Mars Meets Neptune In Aries

on. We start the week with the main event. So, the main event that I want to discuss because it is profound, is Mars conjunct Neptune at two degrees Aries. So it's a very strong Mars in his home sign, conjunct Neptune. And you know, if you listen to me at all, you know that's a mixed bag, and you know I don't like Neptune. And when he's combined with the God of War, yeah, I'm a little worried, at least for the beginning of the week. Things get better though, so don't be discouraged, just hang through the whole story. But I do have to say it's an intense week. So no flowers and sunshine this week, okay? So that's gonna be the main event that we're gonna discuss. And it starts right out of the gate on the 12th. Mars is conjunct Neptune in Aries. But the other things going on, y'all, we've got a new moon in where? Aries on the 17th. So that's gonna be part of this picture too. The energy of this week is gonna be the beginning of a new cycle. I don't know what to say about that. On a personal level, this is really gonna be inspired energy around self-determination. Aries is self-determination. Aries is the self. So do consider that if you're a person who sets those new moon intentions. This is about self-determination. What do you want? Who do you want to be? And remember that a moon cycle is yes, the lunar cycle of a month, but also six months. It will be fully completed when we get the full moon in Aries in about six months. Okay, so set those intentions. But the other thing that's happening is that full moon is gonna hold the energy of this Mars, Neptune, all kinds of fiery stuff too, right? So we're we're in for a uh a time, I

New Moon And Helpful Sextiles

think. All right, the other things that are happening on the 13th, we've got Venus making a beautiful sextile. Venus is in Taurus. Um, she's sextiling Jupiter in Cancer. That is the greater and lesser benefics. This is an angle of opportunity. This is expansion in love, money, creativity, art, all the Venus things. This is gorgeous. On the 14th, we get Mercury in Pisces making a sextile to Uranus in Taurus. This is inspired out-of-the-box thinking, new ideas, inspiration. I love it a lot. On the 16th, we get Mars in Aries, sextiling Pluto in Aquarius. I'm not so thrilled about this, even though it's a sextile, which tends to be a more positive aspect. But you've got the God of war and the god of the underworld power, all of that. This could be lighting a fire under your personal power, because this is a sextile, but I'd be a little careful about arguments, power dynamics, all of that stuff around the 16th. Also, on the 16th, we've got Mercury and Aries. So Mercury uh moves into Aries on the 14th, and then on the 16th, he goes conjunct Neptune. This is confusion, y'all. This is confused thoughts, murky ideas. This is delusions, illusions. I don't love it. This is exactly why I don't like Neptune. Y'all always get on me about that. I'm telling you, I think we're gonna feel why I don't like Neptune this week. Hang with that Mercury picture a little bit. On the 16th, we may be, and even leading up a day or two, we may be just not seeing things clearly. If you have creative ideas, inspired ideas, all of that kind of stuff, because when Neptune's good, that's what he is, right? Creativity, inspiration, spiritual issues, those kinds of things. But just move slowly. And Neptune supports moving slowly, so that's not a bad thing. Just move a little bit slowly because I promise you it's not all clear yet, okay? And then on the 18th, we get Mercury making a sextile, Mercury still in Aries, making a sextile to Pluto and Aquarius. And this is gonna be powerful ideas, ideas about how to transform something you're working on, because Pluto doesn't only rule power, he also rules transformation. So this is a sextile, this is an angle of opportunity. So, you know, getting ideas about how to transform some area of your life, your thinking, that kind of thing. So I like that one pretty well. Isn't that nice that I like something going on this week? I do. I mean, it's just an intense week. So listen to

Aries Pileup Plus Eris And Chiron

this. By the 14th, when Mercury ingresses into Aries, listen to what we've got going on. Mercury, the moon, Neptune, Mars, Saturn, the Sun, and Chiron. Oh my gosh. And think about what Aries means. Okay, let me add one more thing to that. I never talk about the other asteroids because there are just so many things in the sky that it gets very difficult to bring all of them in, the asteroids and all the dwarf planets and all the stuff. But there is an asteroid, or I think she's actually classified as a dwarf planet right now, but they changed that stuff so much, I don't even know. Anyway, Ares E-R-I-S, for those of you who want to do your research, she's also in Aries. What does she rule? Strife, discord. That thrown into Aries, the most impulsive, self-focused sign in the zodiac ruled by warrior god Mars, who's in the house. We've got strife and discord. We've got both of the malefics, Mars and Saturn. I don't know. I don't know. Do you see why I didn't do sign by sign? This is so complicated. And throw in Iris and Chiron trauma. And I don't want to scare you. Okay, let me back up a little because I can get all dramatic. You know I can. I don't want to scare you about this week because there's a lot of powerful potential. And I'll try to get to it. I will, I promise. But I do want to just give you a heads up. You know, it is it's a heavy, intense week. Even the good will be intense, all right? This is just not a flimsy, fluffy little week. It just isn't. It's really important for you to look at what house is occupied by Aries, because that's where most of the picture of this week is happening, right? Most of the drama. Back to it.

Tiredness Anger And False Starts

Let's now focus on that Mars-Neptune conjunction that starts the week and I think really starts the story for the week. The first thing I want to say about this is Mars is our energy, our passion. He's fire and he's on fire because he's in his own kingdom, so he's very, very strong. Neptune is the opposite of all of that. Neptune is water, the depths of the ocean. Mars moves fast, Neptune is slow. These two are not a great mix, especially when they're super close, like in a conjunction. They're just not a great combination of energies. So expect this week to start just on the most physical, um, sort of obvious level. Expect to be maybe tired, feeling a little bit run down, feeling like you want to retreat and all of that kind of thing. Maybe, yeah, that's what I think it's gonna be for pretty much everybody. Take some time. Just don't fight this. The worst, no worst, I shouldn't say that, the most intense of this energy is really gonna be at the beginning of the week. Just give yourself some time. If you need to take naps, if you need to close the blinds, close the doors, and sit down with a good book. Do that. Neptune loves fantasy, so read a nice book. But yeah, it's part of this picture to be sort of tired and feeling kind of underwater and sluggish. So just know that you may need time, you may need more rest, you may need some solitude, and just let yourself have it. It's better not to fight the energies. What do I always say? Seize the energies. Don't plan the first of the week to be all like, those are the days I'm gonna get everything done. Yeah, probably you're not. On another level, Mars-Neptune combination can be like just being pissed off at everything and nothing. You know what I mean? Like just feeling sort of angry and with Neptune involved, it might even be like moody kind of anger, you know, petulant. And it's kind of at whatever. It could be so like, I'm just angry, I don't even know why I'm angry. That's that Neptune confusion coming in, right? The other thing it could be look at what house it's in, fourth house, family, angry at a family member, seventh, your partner, tenth, your boss, you know, on and on. It could be that you're angry and petulant and you're really wrong. You're really wrong. Either you just don't even know what you're mad about, you just feel mad, or you're really, really mad and you're really, really wrong. Okay? So hold off. Remember, I said you might be tired, go close the blinds, lock the door. This is another reason why you might want to go close the blinds, lock the door. Cause you could be really, really wrong. Give yourself some time. Just a couple of days. Mars is fast and is gonna pull away from Neptune. I'll get to that, but just give yourself a couple of days. I promise you, you'll be glad. The other thing is you may feel really inspired because Mars is strong in Aries. So we're not getting, I always say, you know, every planet has a good side or that positive bright side and the shadow side. Mars is either the psycho killer or the noble warrior. In his own kingdom, he's the noble warrior, more likely, but not with Neptune, because that's just the noble warrior who's like fighting battles that don't need to be fought. Remind you of the news recently. Okay, that's all I'm saying. I'm not gonna say any more about it. But have you watched the news? Back to my original point, where you might feel really inspired. You want to take action on something, especially things like spiritual ideas, projects, whatever, creative projects, all of those Neptune kinds of things, you know, just anything that involves um creativity and depth and um making something new, you might feel really inspired to just go because we've got Mars there, you know, lighting that fire under us. Don't go just yet. All right, just hang, just hang for a minute. Because if you launch too quickly, which Mars is gonna want to do, but if you go with that, the chances are that you're gonna get false starts. That you're gonna launch, you're gonna put some energy, but you're feeling a little sluggish and confused anyway, and you get to the other end of all of this effort you've made, and then you're like, oh my gosh, I have to go back and redo that because I wasn't seeing it clearly. So give yourself some time. You know, this is a good time. Like if you get all kinds of inspiration and ideas, do the behind-the-scenes stuff, like journal about it, make your to-do list, all of that stuff that, you know, you could just go erase it and redo it rather than taking that actual action and you know, uh recording 20 episodes of your YouTube channel. I promise you, you're gonna go back and redo that stuff. So, or at least it's likely. Okay. So I would just say give yourself some time. Take the action that is more easily revised.

When To Act And When To Wait

Because then what's gonna happen by the 15th, Mars is pulling away from Neptune, which is a very good thing, moving toward his conjunction with Saturn. That's like taking that inspiration that he got with Neptune and moving it toward the planet that says, let's make it real now. Okay, and let's get very realistic about it. Here's the problem Mercury by this point has come into the house and is going to move into his conjunction with Neptune, which happens on the 16th. So the very next day. Now we're ready to take action, but Mercury and Neptune that can be creative inspiration. Uh, it's also exactly the signature for confusion. So still, I'm saying give it give it a minute, all right. The other problem through the beginning of the week and through this point, I like where Mars is at, but we're in the balsalmic moon. That's the dark moon phase. So again, we have no light from the moon, it's dark. And between the moon and the sun at this point are both iris, discord, and Chiron, trauma. It's just not a good time to act yet. Give it a minute. I know I'm saying give it a minute a lot, give it another minute. Then, finally, by the 17th, Mercury has pulled one degree in front of Neptune. It's not a lot, but we'll start to get some clarity. Mars is one degree from Saturn, so we've got that practicality, that sense of what actually makes sense here. What do I need to cut out of the plan? Mars, so that I can build a truly firm foundation for what I want to do? Saturn. Mercury's moving toward them. So clear thinking, this is a much better time. Also, now the moon has moved in front of the sun. So while it's still not quite visible, it's in its new moon phase, not its balsamic phase. Okay. I like this a whole lot better. And I do think that now we will get that better part of Neptune, what Neptune brought to the picture. So now the spiritual ideas, the creativity, the inspiration, you know, all of that kind of stuff that Neptune adds, now that we can see it clearly and work with it a little bit more clearly, now it can be really good. Now it's time to launch the projects and start writing your novel or whatever it is. You know, begin a new spiritual practice. Whatever that thing is for you, however it's showing up in your life.

Pace Yourself And Read The Room

Now I think we can start to put it all together. I would still say, take your time. Mars in Aries is very strong. And I love it. Any any planet in his own sign is the king in his on his own throne. He's got all his resources. So I actually, not on the world stage, not going there, but I actually love Mars in Aries, right? He's steering his own ship. So this is go. This is fire. This is passion. And I really do love it. But it's a lot, it's a lot of energy in Aries. We still have all those planets in Aries, right? So even though Mars is on the good side and bringing, you know, bringing the fire we need to launch, I love that. But there's just a lot of energy in one sign, and it's an intense sign, one house. So imagine, think about this. Let's try to put this on a regular life kind of level, right? Whatever house this is hitting in, all of that energy, Neptune, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Iris, Chiron, Sun, Moon, all of that energy is blasting into one house. That means the focus, the energy, the intensity, it can just become so big. So, what is my suggestion? Wait till later in the week and then go. But try to the extent that you can to the and and Saturn's there. He'll help. Try to pace yourself a little bit. Don't forget to rest. Give other people rest. If this is not happening, so for air. Aries and Taurus, this is going to be a more personal thing because Aries, this is happening in your first house. Taurus, it's helping happening in your 12th. So this is a little bit more about you. Everybody else, it's happening in one of those other houses. You know, third, siblings and community, fourth, family, fifth, children, creativity, you know, seventh partner, 10th, work people, 11th, your friends, your tribe, okay? So wherever this is happening, it's getting blasted with a lot of energy. So keep that in mind. And what's that? Read the room, right? Read the room. Maybe you're all fired up because of how this is hitting your chart and you're like, yeah, we're gonna do it. Go. Read the room. Do other people need a break? Are they sending out those signals that like you're a lot right now? If so, slow it down, understand why you're picking up those signals, and just give yourself and everybody a little bit of time and space to process all of this bigness. Also, just know that in whatever house, wherever this is hitting you, it's gonna be complex, right? This is not gonna be like a one and done. Like I go into work, I propose this plan, I execute this plan, and ba-boom, success. It's not gonna go like that. This is super complex, and there are gonna be a lot of things to deal with, address, handle, whatever. But ultimately, can amazing things be accomplished? Absolutely, absolutely. Okay, so I know this is kind of a of an intense, scarier kind of forecast, but here's the final word: great things can happen, great things can be launched, great projects, ideas, relationships, all of that, but not just in a simple, straight line, easy flow kind of

way. Build that into how you plan your week, how you approach issues, how you approach the other people in your life. Just just know what you're dealing with. And I'm wishing everybody the best. And yeah, I don't even, I'm so tempted to say more about the mundane astrology, but I'm not going to. And as I'm talking this through, I do think I need to put out a sign by sign. So expect that to come out maybe a day after this launches. I'm not sure, but expect a second episode. Okay, with all of that, thank you for being here.
