Hello and welcome to Pisces Moon Astrology. I'm your astrologer, Kate Leonard, and I'm excited to explore the stars with you. Hi everyone, welcome to the week of May 10th through May 16th. And first, before I do anything else, let me explain I am so sorry that I missed last week. You will probably hear in my voice that I am just now starting to get over bronchitis. I was so sick last week, so really, really sorry. And I do want to ask your patients with my voice. I can't clear it, I can't fix it, this is the best I can do, alright? So, because of said bronchitis, I am not doing sign by sign this week. I just simply don't have the voice for it. So I'm going to try to cover a whole lot of stuff, although in kind of short form, because I'm not sure how long I'm gonna be able to talk.

Key Transits For May 10

short. Before I tell you what I'm gonna focus on, because it's a little weird this week, I want to just tell you some of the things going on. On May 10th, we've got the sun in Taurus forming a sextile to Jupiter in Cancer. This is beautiful, y'all. Now remember, a sextile is an angle of opportunity. It's not gonna beat you on the head, but it's there if you want it. Look and see where Taurus and Cancer are in your chart. And what this is doing is just shining the light and it and increasing the light, increasing the visibility in these areas. Jupiter expands and brings blessings, and the sun is where we shine. do in the market, all of that kind of stuff. And it's sextiling, that same Jupiter in Cancer. So, again, just expansive ideas, new ideas, uh, really blessed um work opportunities coming up. Loving that as well.

Mercury Kazimi Inspiration Reset

And then on the 14th, we've got Mercury and Taurus, conjunct the sun. That is a kazimi. So get ready for inspiration. Old ideas, especially around Taurus themes, stability, security, our connection with nature, and even our connection with the people we care about. It's a Venus-ruled sign, but especially stability and security. We're gonna need to burn off some old ideas and really let the sun, the sun is gonna supercharge Mercury so that we have new inspiration around those Taurus kinds of ideas. All right, that's a really important thing. That's happening on the 14th. And then remember, I told you two weeks ago that this is a month of two full moons, right? The first day and the last day. It's we've got a blue moon this month.

Taurus New Moon Intentions

This week, on the 16th, we've got the new moon where in Taurus. A lot of Taurus energy this week. So, what is that? Intentions around getting back to nature, um, finding a life that's more comfortable, and also a renewed sense of security and all of those kinds of things, stability. And um yeah, it's really about though getting back to basics, getting back to basics with people. Remember, I told you this is gonna be a theme all year long where we're really finding our tribe. It's gonna be the people that we feel good with. Remember, I was talking about that? Well, this could be part of that, you know, really finding the people you vibe with, meeting them at the local cafe or bar or whatever it is, or out in nature, you know, at the park, whatever it is. Um, so it's a really, really nice new moon. And I don't want you to let it pass by. This is an amped-up new moon because it's between those two full moons in the same month, right? So it's like the light is shining, this is supercharged, the energy is really electrified. So I want you to grab that energy and set your intentions.

Uranus Enters Gemini Big Shift

But what I want to talk about this week is Uranus in Gemini because it's just moved into Gemini. It's gonna be here for some years. You know, I love Uranus, it's the rebel planet, right? It's it's the planet that requires that we think independently, think outside of the box, break through any old restrictions or limitations. Gemini is our communication, how we socialize. It's technology. It's on a world level, I think we're going to be seeing a lot more stuff around tech and AI, and, you know, unfortunately, maybe machines doing our thinking for us. So on a world level, I'm not that thrilled about this in some ways. On a personal level, however, I am. Because this also supports what I was saying about the new moon. This is really about finding your real people. Gemini is the social butterfly. So this is really about getting out there and meeting people and maybe going to events, social events that you wouldn't have gone to before. You're not a museum person. Maybe you need to go to the exhibit that's opening up, you know, or whatever it is. You don't go dancing, maybe you should. It's really that like getting out there, meeting people, meeting new people, get outside of the box. But even more important than that, it's to find your own freaky, independent, autonomous voice. It's about recognizing your wildest, weirdest, most out there kinds of ideas and honoring them, giving voice to them, right? So I'm kind of on a personal level, I'm loving Uranus in Gemini. I think we're gonna all be making great art and doing crazy podcasts and YouTube channels. I think we're gonna be writing amazing books. I think we're gonna be having inspired ideas for our businesses. Um, and I think we're gonna really be finding our freaky, funky, wonderful tribe. I'm I'm loving it a lot. Now, what's happening this week?

T-Square With Destiny Nodes

It's been happening already, actually, and it's getting built, but I think we're gonna be feeling this all the way through summer. But I wanted to give you a heads up. Uranus is forming a T-square with the South and North node, the nodes of destiny. Now, generally, a T-square is not a good thing, right? It's usually really tense and really disruptive and really challenging. And I think this is gonna be all of that. So don't let me, I don't want to sugarcoat it. I I don't think that the issues I'm about to bring up, I promise I'm gonna get to a point. I don't think they're gonna come easily. I this energy is amazing. So again, think of that rebel planet in Gemini and destiny and the north and south nodes of destiny. This is like divine inspiration, but it's the divine inspiration that is going to make us say, like, you know what? I've been living my life this way, and I am so done. That's not me, that's not who I want to be. I am breaking out of this box and I'm gonna go do that other thing, you know, that thing that I had, you know, kind of in the back of my mind, or maybe only in my dream space, and I thought it wasn't practical, or I thought it couldn't be because I was trying to do things right, and I'm done. I'm done with that. I am gonna follow my destiny. You see where I'm at with this? I love this so much. Well, you know me. I love I love the rebel, and I love anytime the nodes of destiny are involved. So what are we gonna be letting go

Breaking Virgo Perfectionism And Control

of? All right, the South Node. Uranus, South Node. What are we gonna be letting go of? What chains do we have to break free of? It is in Virgo. So find what house is Virgo in your chart. That'll give you some idea what we're talking about. But Virgo in general, Virgo's the administrator. Virgo takes care of the details. Virgo is controlling because it wants everything to be perfect. It's the perfectionist, it's the one who says, no, we've got to do everything very much by the book because we want the event to come off right or we want things to be perfect, whatever it is. I'm repeating myself because I'm really not well. But you get what I'm saying, right? And also just control in general. Virgo is very controlling, they mean well. And when you need an administrator to take the reins and get your event to turn out correctly, you want a Virgo involved, right? Or you want to use your own Virgo energy. But that need to control that ever, you know, I'm not gonna change jobs, break up, get married, have kids, start that art project, whatever your thing is. Look and see what house this is in. I'm not gonna do that thing until I can do it perfectly. I'm not gonna do that thing because I'm not quite ready. I don't have all my ducks in a row. Virgo is so wanting all their ducks in a row. And Uranus is saying, F that. We're gonna blow this stuff up and we're gonna make some change happen. And this might come, Uranus is unexpected change. This may come out of the blue. You may have this come up in a dream. You may just blow one day, because that's what Uranus does. Uranus is is the tower in the tarot deck, right? Where it just blows up. You may be going along in your little job. That's okay, right? It's okay. But you really don't love it. You really want to go out and be like a deep sea diver or something like that. And you just rage, not rage quit. Yeah, you might rage quit. There might be some rage quitting because this is a square. So maybe. But it could be not that it's rage quitting, it's just abrupt quitting, where you're like, oh, you know what? Today is the last day I'm doing this because tomorrow I'm gonna be a deep sea diver. Could be that kind of thing. Okay. So get ready and know all your ducks won't be in a row, and no, all the details won't be ironed out, and it'll just be like, okay, I guess I'm just gonna have to deal with things as they come up. All right. So it's that kind of thing. The other thing, Uranus is squaring the north node. The north node is where we add, where we bring in, where we increase. So, what do we have to blow up so we can grow? Now, let me give you one little pre-idea here, or

Pisces North Node Growth And Hunger

or like an aside. Let's call this an aside, shall we? This could be if you've been too gluttonous, okay, because in Vedic astrology, the North Node is the um severed head of the dragon. Its hunger is never filled, right? It's it's never satiated because it has no body to tell us like to tell it like, hey, dude, it's enough, you don't have to eat another taco. I'm finished. If you have been gluttonous in Pisces areas, so look and see where that is in your chart. Is that seventh house relationships, like you're too needy of relationships, you know, second house money, whatever it is, are you too hungry for it? This period of time through the end of summer, this could be saying, blow up that urgency, blow up that hunger. For some people, you'll know who you are if it's you, if you feel like, and it's it's Pisces, okay? So it could be spirituality, looking for the partner where you have the deep soul bond, you know, that kind of oceanic, spiritual kind of thing. Are you never spiritual enough? Are you just that? Are you like, no, I need to consume more, I need to go to mass more, see the guru more, read more spiritual text to the point that it's never enough. This period of time might be requiring that you find some balance and get more independent in your thinking. Like you know enough, let it go, and make it your own now. For most people though, what I think this is gonna be about is exactly kind of the opposite of everything I just said. I think it's gonna be outside the box thinking about how we can grow spiritually, how we can form deeper unions with people, but maybe not in traditional ways. Like maybe the people that you've always felt, well, like this is kind of my tribe because I've known these people forever and always, or they're the people I work most closely with, or whatever. Maybe it's like, no, that that doesn't define my people. My people are the ones that my wild, freaky, quirky self vibes with. And I want that vibe. I want that deep soul connection. It's not enough to just like you're my tribe because I've always known you. You're my people because life has thrown us together. It's not that. It is going, this energy is going to require us

Make Spirituality And Tribe Your Own

to kind of just get more real, get more self-or not self-oriented in a selfish way, but get more true to ourselves and really face who we actually are. The other thing though, Pisces is spirituality, right? So it may be like just realizing that the spiritual rules you've been following, the spiritual framework that you've been working in, it's like, you know what, that's all great, and I've learned and I've grown, and all of that is awesome, but now I need to make it my own. Now I need to get quirky and weird and wonderful, right? Now I need to find my own path to the universe, spirit, God, my destiny, whatever you want to call it. Does that make sense? I do think this is going to be startling energy. I think it's going to be that as we're opening up to ourselves, maybe parts of ourselves that we've denied for a long time, or put on back burner, or just thought, you know, like, let it go. I don't get to ever be that person. I don't ever get to live that life. I think fate is gonna come along and say, nope, nope, stop that thinking. You exactly are that person and you do get to live your truth. I love it. I love it a lot. And this is a this is a big month with the two full moons. I would set some intentions, I would see where this hits in my chart and kind of see how to make the most of this energy, but fate is involved and stuff is gonna get shaken up. I do believe that to be true.
