Hello and welcome to Pisces Moon Astrology. I'm your astrologer, Kate Leonard, and I'm excited to explore the stars with you. Hi everyone, welcome to the week of June 28th through July 4th. Oh my gosh, July 4th. It just dawned on me. Well, that's not what we're talking about because this week Mercury goes retrograde. And have I already had every kind of equipment tech problem imaginable? Yes, I have. So I think we're gonna be in for a doozy. Before we get into the week and the kind of crazy wild ride this is gonna be, let me just say thank you so much for being here. I appreciate all of you. I know it seems probably weird, but I actually feel like this is becoming sort of a community. Thank you all for reaching out to me. Those of you who contact me for readings, yes, of course. Thank you so much for booking readings with me. Um, but also just the people who want to tell me about how their the energies of the week went for them and stuff. I'm really grateful. It makes me feel like when I'm here talking to this microphone, I'm actually with you. You know, it's weird, but it's super cool, and thank you so much. So we are on season two, episode two, and let's get into it. Before we get to the whole Mercury retrograde bit, and for real, y'all, I never have tech problems with my equipment because I use a very stable and very simple setup. Yeah, right. So if it's already hitting, let me tell you, when it actually does its flip and goes reverse, wow, boy howdy.

Mars And Jupiter Set The Tone

Before I get to the specifics, let me give you a heads up on some of the overview. And yes, I'm gonna do a sign by sign this week. On the 28th, Mars is going into Gemini. It's like ideas and communication and social events getting really fired up and activated. Could it mean arguments and blowups? Sure could, depending on how it's hitting in your chart while it's in there. Okay, and then on the 29th, we've got Jupiter going into Leo. Y'all, this is a star maker. If you've got dreams of standing in the spotlight, getting recognition, being seen. Now, again, it depends on where it's hitting in your chart, but this is that activation that could do it. Leo is a star and Jupiter expands and brings luck. I'm just saying. On July 2nd, we've got Mars in Gemini squaring the north node. This is some kind of initiation energy that is faded. On the third, we've got Mars in Gemini conjunct Uranus. This is the rebel, y'all. So on a world stage kind of thing, this could be bombs blowing off. We've got Mars the warrior and Uranus the Reb and Uranus unexpected change. So on a world stage, this might not be great. And I have to say that even on a personal level, you know, could people be uh flaring up in conversation and um could things get a little extreme? They really could, they really could be a little wary around that, okay? And then yeeha, we get the 4th of July. You know, I don't even know what to say about that this year. Anyway, we've got Mars and Gemini, Sextiling, that's making an angle of opportunity to Neptune and Aries. And remember, Mars rules Aries. So this could be really firing up creative projects, but it's not gonna hit you in the face. You gotta grab it, okay? So creative projects, spiritual growth, those kinds of things getting a fire lit under them if you like strike the match. Okay, you gotta grab it if you want

Mercury Retrograde With Jupiter Momentum

it. So let's get into the main event, shall we? On the 29th, Mercury turns retrograde in Cancer. Now, Mercury's been slowing down, getting ready for his retrograde in Cancer for a while, which is why I'm recording this before he flips. I'm already getting the tech stuff, okay? But that's not actually the main thing that this story is going to be about. Mercury's been traveling with Jupiter, the greater benefic. So we've probably been having important conversations, you know, inspired ideas, big, grandiose plans may have been on our minds recently and all of that. That's good. And I think that's all still really important because Jupiter has been an exaltation in cancer, all of that, all good. But remember that when two planets are moving along together, they're kind of writing the story together. We're getting their energies, Jupiter's expansion with Mercury's ideas, communication, social interactions, all of that. When Mercury goes retrograde, that story is going to be involved in the retrograde. Does that make sense? Those big ideas, big plans, you know, big conversations, all the stuff. Yeah, that's gonna be part of what we're having to all the rewords, redo, revise, reconsider. Okay. So think back. What have you been working on? What plans have been coming up, especially the big stuff, right? I've got this big idea about what I want to do with the podcast. I've got this grand idea about finally getting the YouTube channel up and running, you know, things like that. Yeah. Well, Mercury's gonna flip and start going retrograde now. And so those things are gonna go through that revision or reconsideration process. You see what I'm saying? Now, let's complicate this a little bit. And I promise you I'm gonna get to the sign by signs, but this is all really important to understand because we will feel this in a general way as well, okay? About three hours after Mercury turns around and starts going backwards in cancer, Jupiter is going to cross into Leo. So there's about three hours of the retrograde where Jupiter's right there. That's why I'm seeing, you know, that those big things that have been coming up are part of the retrograde story. And it makes sense, right? Jupiter can be over the top and need reined in a little bit. The thing is, Jupiter's now gonna cross the boundary over into Leo. Leo, um, the leader, the one who stands in the spotlight, you know, the one who, yeah, the leader, that's the best way to talk about Leo. Jupiter, who expands all of that, is gonna cross over to Leo. What I like to think about when a story's been going on, this Jupiter-Mercury thing's been going on in Cancer, as Jupiter crosses over into the sign of the lion, it brings that story with him. So Jupiter doesn't just go, okay, now I'm totally forgetting everything I was just doing with Mercury. I'm over here in this other space now. No, no, no, it doesn't work like that. All of that stuff gets pulled over. And so that's why I was saying Jupiter in Leo is really the star maker, right? You can get famous during Jupiter in Leo transits if it's hitting your natal chart, right? And you all you have to understand your natal chart and how this communicates to it to really understand what's gonna be happening. But anyway, Jupiter brings that story into Leo. So some of this revising, rethinking, redoing is going to be necessary for you to step into that new leadership, more dynamic star role, whatever that's gonna mean for you. So really be thoughtful. And I know with Mercury, how could we not? Really put your all into the retrograde energy, into the revision and reconsidering. In other words, the fine-tuning, because Jupiter's bringing that energy into this place of leadership and acknowledgement, being seen, recognition, all of that stuff that it's doing over in Leo. Just a quick note, and I'm not going to go into this in detail, but when Jupiter crosses into Leo, Venus is there. That's the two benefic planets back together in one sign. So could relationship stuff get tangled up, and I don't necessarily mean in a bad way, get involved in this Mercury-Jupiter extravaganza going on. Yeah, you could find now that remember, Venus is not just love relationships. That could be making those connections, you know, where that you need so that your book is published, you get the role in the TV show you're going after, you get the promotion at work, you know, making those people connections. It's a pretty good time, but it's still retrograde, Mercury retrograde. So expect, I mean, I've been having tech problems. So I don't know what you're gonna face, car problems, travel delays, miscommunications, all of that kind of stuff. Yeah, I think that's all happening too.

All right, let's get ready for the sign by sign. Listen to your rising sign because that's who you are. If you don't know your rising sign, listen to the sun sign if you're born during the day, your moon sign if you're born at night. And for the most comprehensive information, listen to all three. All right, let's start with Aries. Okay,

Aries Through Cancer Forecasts

Aries, Mercury is going retrograde in your fourth house of home and family. So expect some kind of revision, redoing, rethinking, and possibly miscommunications in that family realm, okay? But this could be redesigning a room, you know, um, reconsidering some kind of family gathering that's going on, that sort of thing. But here's the biggie: Jupiter is gonna slide on over into Leo, which is your fifth house of creativity, leisure time, fun, children. Now, this is really interesting, Aries, for any of you who literally are trying to be a star. Remember, I said this is the star maker, right? Your art, your acting, you know, all of those creative pursuits. Jupiter's coming over to expand them and bless them and all of that. You may find that what you're doing in the home environment is revising your script, your book, your painting, rehearsing your lines, you know, whatever. I don't know, rehearsing, right? That's not that's a re-word. So look at that connection between home and creativity. But I really think where a lot of the big stuff is gonna be happening is in the creative realm for you, living creatively, living more joyfully, all of that kind of thing. Yours is pretty amazing. I want, don't forget, I'm the astrologer who told you it was gonna happen. I want an autograph or something, yeah? Taurus, um, Mercury's going retrograde in your third house of communication and writing, local community. So revising somewhere in there. It is the house of communication and writing. So literally revising things you've been writing, revising contracts, revising, you know, having another meeting with somebody to sort of redo what you were, you know, the plans you put together at the last meeting, that kind of thing, rethinking community involvement. Jupiter is gonna slide on over into your fourth house of home and family. So that's kind of interesting. In your case, third house is also siblings. So this could be something to do with family and sibling dynamics going on, expanding um relationships in some way. Um, but this looks this, I don't know, adding on to your home, building a new home, buying a bigger home, bringing um a sibling coming to stay with you for a while. There could be those kinds of things going on. But remember, fourth house is also your foundation. So, really grounding some of that work you're doing, the community work, writing, all of that. Yours is interesting. There are a lot of ways it could go. You have to reach out and let me know how this happens. But I really think there's just gonna be a lot of revision of written projects and redoing meetings and things like that. I think a lot of that's gonna be going on for you. All right, moving right along, Gemini, Mercury retrograde in the second house of money. Okay, so this is gonna be redoing your finances. That's what it's gonna be doing. Contracts, uh, renegotiating, you know, maybe salary or rethinking your payment structure if you do services, for example, the way I work with my clients, that kind of thing. Jupiter is gonna slide on over into your third house of communication. So this could really be rethinking a marketing campaign, your advertising, you know, how you get your the word out about your business, how you make your money. So Jupiter sliding over into that house of communication could really help you launch those new plans once you get the kinks ironed out, right? Look at the money factor specifically and what you're doing. Okay, cancer. Mercury is going retrograde in your first house of you. This is actually gonna have a lot to do with rethinking self-definition, revising self in a way, um, considering how do I want to show up more authentically, how do I want to communicate? That's Mercury is communication in your first house of you. So, how I want to communicate my truth more effectively. Jupiter is sliding over into your second house of money. How do I want to present myself? How do I want to communicate? How uh do I want to think about money and how I make my money? So something connected. You know what some of you are gonna be doing? Remember, I said the star maker. That's getting noticed. How do I get noticed so I'll make more money? Y'all are gonna be doing some beautification projects, some glow-up kind of stuff. I promise you, some of you, that's what it's gonna mean. I wanna rethink my image, my looks. That's all first house stuff because I'm out in the public, I work with people, I want to be seen, and I really think it's time for me to update my look. That's gonna happen for a lot of you, cancers.

Leo Through Libra Forecasts

Okay, Leo, Mercury's going retrograde in the 12th house, which is which is psychology, your mental health. It's also work you do behind the scenes. So, you know those projects you've been working on? The book you were writing, the script, the work proposal, the college applications, whatever kind of mercurial projects have been going on behind the scenes, those are gonna need to be revised now. But Jupiter is slipping over into your first house. So you will be empowered. And I think the revising that you do on these behind-the-scene projects, I think they are gonna come from you kind of going, wait a minute, I've been too small in my thinking. I haven't been selling myself big enough. So think about that-a sort of self-empowerment that is connected to whatever that stuff is, you're gonna be revising. This could also be reconsidering the kind of therapy you've been using for mental health or something like that. And you may find that you just feel really more empowered at this point. You want to rethink how you approach mental health. I don't know if that makes sense, but something in there is gonna come up for some of you. I think for more, though, it's gonna be that revision of work you've been doing behind the scenes. Okay, Virgo. Um, Mercury is going retrograde in the 11th house of your group identity, group affiliation, your tribe. At this time, you may find that there are groups you want to leave, groups you want to start, groups that you want to revise the kind of work you do or revise your mission statement, so to speak. The other thing, you may find that you're having to go back to a friend, go back to people you're associated with and rediscuss, re have a do-over in like a conversation that's already started or that you've already had, and you need to go back and kind of rethink where you left it. That could be, you know, rethinking, like maybe I don't want to be your friend anymore, or rethinking friendship in the sense of like how you move forward or the dynamics of your relationship. But for more of you, I think it's gonna be about groups you're involved with, quitting some, starting some, um, changing some. Jupiter is gonna slide over into your 12th house, and you are gonna be also wanting to take some breaks. 12th house is all about rest and retreat, and you may find that you're doing a lot of group work, friend work, social work, all of that kind of stuff, or social activity, I guess. Social work, that's a whole other thing, right? And you're having to protect your downtime a little bit. And it's like, you know, I I love those groups, but I need to rethink how much I'm involved and take a little time for myself. Yeah? Okay, Libra, this is happening in your career area. Mercury's going retrograde in the career. This is rethinking projects, redesigning them, renegotiating contracts, all of that kind of stuff. Watch out for miscommunications in the work environment. Be careful to state things clearly, think before you speak, listen before you react, all of that stuff that's Mercury retrograde, right? Jupiter is sliding over into your 11th house of tribe and group identity. So this could be really saying, like, you know what, I want to join a professional group to give me support in what I'm doing at work. Or I've been doing this stuff at work and I want to start a community group where I use some of those skills or those ideas. This could also be presenting to community organizations, like you do something at work, and now you're going to do presentations at your professional organization, symposium, conference, whatever, that kind of thing. Could also be becoming closer friends with people who have just been colleagues. So people literally scoot from the work environment into your social scene. Okay,

Scorpio Through Capricorn Forecasts

Scorpio. The Mercury retrograde is happening in your ninth house of higher educations and spirituality, foreign cultures and travel. So you may find if you're planning foreign travel or long distance travel, you may actually find that there are all kinds of problems that come up around it. You know, just expect foreign plan, delays, lost luggage, you know, all the stuff that happens during Mercury retrograde. But on a better note, if you've been planning to go back to school, this might be time to revise your applications. You may want to revise the list of what which schools you're applying to, things like that. Spirituality, sort of rethinking how your spiritual life works, right? Rethinking how you approach that area of your life. Jupiter is sliding over into the career area. So taking something that you've been, something from your spiritual life, something from your travels, something from higher education, and turning it into a job. So for some of you, you may be finishing things up at school and getting job offers, even if, you know, internships or whatever, maybe paying jobs, I'm not sure. But see how those two realms are gonna somehow connect for you. That could be really exciting for you job seekers out there. Be ready, though, to have to redo something, reapply. It may be an internship or job that you applied to before that you need to reconnect with those people. Okay, so stay on the lookout for that kind of thing. All right, Sagittarius, Mercury's going retrograde in the eighth house of joint finances. Get ready to have to rethink your investments, your 401k, your relationship to debt. Debt shows up in the eighth house, right? So you may have to, you may have thought, like, I can get all my debt paid off in six months if I do XYZ. Yeah, you might have to add Q into that, right? So get ready to have to revise your plans around money. If you've been thinking of like doing something big, like buying a house or a car or something like that, you may have to reconsider how you're financing it, things like that. Jupiter is gonna move over into your ninth house of spirituality, higher education, foreign culture and travel. And so you may find that you actually don't actually understand your finances all that well. And you may want to take like an online workshop or a Skillshare class or watch some YouTube videos about investing or about the best ways to get out of debt, those sorts of things. The other thing the eighth house is is trauma and fear. So as you're sort of rethinking and possibly revisiting some of the more painful, traumatic events in your past, you may find that you seek solace through spirituality when Jupiter goes into the ninth. All right, for Capricorn, Mercury's going retrograde in your seventh house of primary one-on-one relationships. This is the marriage and love house, you all know that. So get ready for miscommunication there, but also get ready to kind of rethink your contract. Yes, your marriage contract, your love contract, how it is you show up for each other, how you define the relationship, those kinds of things. Jupiter is gonna head over into joint finances. This may be that you're reconsidering how you pool your money, what you're pooling it for. Those kinds of issues could be coming up for you, all right? But I really want to stress the typical Mercury retrograde in the seventh is miscommunicating. So you're another one who I would say think before you speak. If you're getting ready, you know, to say something super important, step back for a minute, think it through. How do you want to say it? Is that the right way? Also, listen before you react. Let it sink in. How did your partner mean that? You know them. You know, don't react to how it sounds so quickly because Mercury retrograde. All right. And

Aquarius And Pisces Forecasts

then we come to Aquarius. Aquarius, this is happening in your sixth house of day-to-day routines and physical health. All right, so it could be rethinking, revising, redoing any of that stuff. You know, you may be deciding that the way you work, how your work environment looks, you need to rethink it, reconsider it. It's not actually conducive to what you need to get done. For more of you, however, I think this is going to be about physical health and you're needing to reconsider your diet. Reconsider the kind of workout routines you've been doing or the workout schedule. It may be that things have changed, and those days, like for me, I changed my work schedule a little bit, and now the ballet class that I used to always attend no longer works. So, what am I gonna do instead? That kind of rethinking it. So, diet, health routines, workout routines, all of that kind of stuff might be up for grabs. Jupiter is gonna scooch over into your seventh house of primary relationships. So when you go to the gym, ballet class, you know, kickboxing, whatever it is, look around. Because something going on in that sixth house is moving over into the house of relationships. If you're not working out, rethink that. Get out there where people are, do your workouts, because there might be somebody that you want to give a wink wink to while you're working out. Yeah? All right, Pisces. This is happening in your house of creativity. You are another one that this is about revising creative projects, rethinking plans for your projects, all of that kind of stuff. Um, yeah, this is kind of wonderful and pretty straightforward for you, whether it's writing, which is very mercurial, or any other kind of creative project. This could be how you're gonna decorate your kid's birthday party, right? Any kind of creativity. And by the way, you know, fifth house is also children. Um, this could be where you're gonna go on vacation because it's leisure activities. So any kind of rethinking or revising in those areas, but for a lot of people, this is gonna center on their creativity and be like literal revision. Jupiter is gonna slide over into your sixth house of day-to-day work. So, what does that mean? You're gonna rethink a project, a creative project, a vacation plan, whatever it is for you. And then there's gonna be some work you have to do. Then it's like metaphorically or literally, back to the desk. You've rethought it, you've um reconsidered your ideas, now you have to go write that new scene or book those new plans or whatever it is. You get what I'm saying? All right, that's everybody.

Expect Snafus Then Seize The Stars

I hope that was helpful. I hope that made sense. I do want to just say, yeah, the week isn't so easy. The week isn't so easy. We've got a Mars Square North Node, we've got the Mars Uranus, and then we've got Mercury retrograde. Be gentle with yourself, give yourself time, expect the unexpected, expect delays and snafus and things that need to be redone. But ultimately, I get kind of a good vibe for this one because of what Jupiter's doing. Let's all go be stars in whatever way that makes sense for each of us. And that's it.
