All right, y'all, so let's get into the latest and the greatest of what is going on today. All right, I'm going to look at my notes. I'm not going to pretend I have everything off the top of my head because I don't. Okay. Kilmar Abrego Garcia may never make it back to the US, not because of a court ruling, but because politics, power, and a narrative rooted in fear. Despite having a court order that barred his deportation, Garcia was still sent back to El Salvador under what Trump's team now calls an administrative error. Air quotes, air quotes. Let's go to it right quick. Can President Bukele weigh in on this? Do you plan to return him? Well, I guess, I'm supposed to have suggested that I smuggle a terrorist into the United States, right? How can I smuggle, how can I return him to the United States? Like, I smuggle him into the United States or what do I do? Of course, I'm not going to do it. It's like, I mean, the question is preposterous. How can I smuggle a terrorist into the United States? I don't have the power to return him to the United States. If you could release him inside El Salvador. Yeah, but I'm not releasing, I mean, we're not very fond of releasing terrorists into our country. We just turned the murder capital of the world to the safest country in the Western Hemisphere. And you want us to go back into the releasing criminals so we can go back to being the murder capital of the world. That's not going to happen. Well, they'd love to have a criminal, you know. Yeah, I mean, there's a fascination. They would love it. Yeah. These are sick people. Okay. All right. So you guys saw that for yourself. All right. So just in listening to the response, I just paid attention to some buzzwords that just jumped out at me. He kept saying the word smuggle, terrorist, criminal, never referred to him as a man, just saying that's just what popped out in my ears. Okay. But according to what's come out, there's no proof. That's what the latest reports are showing. There's no proof that this man is a terrorist that we've seen. All right. So the thing about it though, if the courts say one thing, because this is where it starts to get tricky. The courts ordered this man to be sent back, not smuggled, sent back. Okay. So if the courts say one thing, but the government does another, what does justice really mean anymore? I mean, when you think about it, right? Maybe justice isn't what's written in law books, but what powerful people choose to honor and or ignore. So let's get to some of these questions that I had, right? Can a person's entire future be erased by a single label, AKA terrorist, criminal, especially ones like terrorists when there's no proof? Because once the word is out and the truth starts mattering less and less, the fear is what matters more and what continues to spread. How do you fight for your rights when your very existence becomes a political negotiation between two powerful nations? Because that's what I was looking at. That's what I was getting like, wow. Again, there's no proof. I don't know. Okay. I just know what's been put out so far. That's all we all know. Right. But it's kind of like this ping pong thing. And this man's whole life is just caught in the middle, his family as well. Again, so when you're caught between borders and agendas, who do you even call on for help? Who's going to help you? Who's going to help you? Where do you go? An attorney? Right. Picture that. Here's some of the comments. I have a feeling he's no longer alive is why they aren't sending him back. What happens when speculation overtakes facts and how do we separate the truth from our gut instincts in cases like this? Yeah. Another comment. The fact that they are laughing about it is what's disgusting. Is laughing a coping mechanism or does it expose the deeper, darker way we desensitize the suffering of others? Why are we laughing? This is very serious, right? He's literally disobeying the Supreme Court. What is wrong with us? When is enough enough? Okay. And when they say he's disobeying the Supreme Court, they're talking about our current president. At what point do we stop making excuses for those in power who flout the law and instead demand real accountability? When are we going to demand real accountability? But who is the we, us, the citizens? Can we really demand accountability? I mean, if there was a whole lot we could do, we wouldn't be having this discussion now. Here's another comment. He's MS-13. Why the hell would we want him back? Hmm. How do labels like MS-13 cloud our judgment? And how should we be allowing fear to decide a person's fate without concrete proof? Where is it? This story leaves us tangled in questions about justice, power, and the stories that go untold. It's not just about a man's fate. It's about the systems that we trust, the narratives that we're fed, and the lines we draw between right and wrong. All right. But again, what say you? What say you? Because what happens when the law is ignored and a man's life becomes political currency? This is a man's life as white and kids. When the law is ignored by those in power, how do we reclaim trust in the system if we even can? Again, the Supreme Court put out an order and it's not being followed. What say you?
