What if praying for healing isn’t reserved for “the really spiritual” people, but is part of normal Christian life? We lean into that question and finish our healing series with Seantell Coffey, getting as practical and biblical as possible about how believers can pray for the sick with faith, love, and calm confidence.

We walk through the scriptural foundation for healing prayer and spiritual authority, including Matthew 10, Luke 10, Mark 16, and John 20. Then we bring it down to street level: how we actually pray in the moment, why praying Scripture matters, and what it can look like to speak healing in Jesus’ name. Kim also shares a powerful reminder that sometimes the simplest prayer is the strongest one, when the Holy Spirit leads, and the name of Jesus is enough.

From there, we talk about what many people skip: compassion, good questions, and community. We explore the spiritual and practical roots of illness, the payoff that illness can bring, and the importance of asking, “Do you want to get well?” We also make a case for group prayer and being connected to a faith-filled church community that believes the Bible’s promises, even when that environment feels awkward at first.

We close with keys for the long road: removing distractions, persevering with faith, guarding your peace, renewing your mind with Philippians 4, and practicing gratitude when life feels heavy. If you’re praying for your own healing or standing with someone you love, this conversation is built to strengthen your faith and steady your heart. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs hope, and leave a review so more people can find it.

There you will find our social media links. And for our podcast platforms, you can find us on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and everywhere else you find your podcast. Amber and I want to welcome back Seantell Coffey. She's been a previous guest. This is actually part four of a series that she has written on healing. We're so excited to have you back for the final episode. Thank you so much for your time, Seantell. Sure. And I also want to mention that we will be having a special guest on our next podcast. We're going to begin a series through the book of John, the Gospel of John. It's going to be really just a talk through the chapters. We're going to glean from God's word, truths, promises, encouragement, conviction, correction, all the things God's word does. And so we would encourage you to be prepared for that. And if possible, listen with your journal and a Bible. So we're going to jump into this episode with this thought. We were wrapping part three with you sharing about the ramifications of fear. And so we just want to remind you, listeners, let faith be bigger than your fear. Right? In Jesus' name. Let faith be bigger than your fear. Okay, well, let's just jump in.

Amber Sampson

Yeah. Well, I think one thing I will be going to say is I think this is going to be our final uh episode on healing in the series. So yeah, where it's exciting. Um, all the things that we've been able to share. And so I think it's stuff you've got to listen to a couple of times to really renew your mind over healing and faith and fear and scripture and all the things. So all right, well, let's dig

Who Can Pray For The Sick

Amber Sampson

in. So um, first question would be Seantell, can just anyone pray for the sick?

Seantell Coffey

If you are a believer, you can pray for the sick and little children all the way up to older people. Anyone can. I love the scriptures. Matthew 10 talks about Jesus sending out the twelve disciples and told them to preach the kingdom of heaven. Tell them it is at hand. He told them to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. And he says, Freely you've received, now freely give. Isn't that amazing? It is. I I was raised, we go preach the kingdom, but I wasn't told the rest of the stuff. So I wasn't. And so I think it's important that you get the whole verse on there. And then over in Luke 10, it's kind of easy to remember Matthew 10, Luke 10, but in Luke 10, it talks about Jesus sending out the 70 and telling them to heal the sick. And it goes on to say that they returned with joy, saying that even the demons were subject to them in Jesus' name. That's amazing to me. And they had joy, they figured it out, like they can go at us telling them to go. That's right. And then lastly, Jesus sends us in Mark 16 and John 20, 21 through 23, and it's Mark 16, 15 through 18. It's in Mark, we are told to preach the gospel in all the world, and that these signs will follow those who believe. In Jesus' name, we will cast out demons, speak in new tongues, take up serpents. Nothing deadly that we drink will hurt us, and we will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.

Scriptures That Build Healing Faith

Seantell Coffey

That is good news, girls. That makes me so joyful. And Jesus' model of healing was speaking to the illness directly or to the spirit behind the illness. He commanded his disciples in the group of 70 to tell the people that the kingdom of God has come near to them. He also said to heal the sick as well as cast out demons. So pray over your body, pray over other people's bodies. When you pray, I love to just speak healing. I say things like be healed from the top of your head to the tip of your toes in Jesus' name. And there's simple prayers that we can do that we can speak over people. I'm sure you girls have prayer. I know you all pray a lot for the sick. So are there things that you all pray when you pray over people?

Kim McIntire

I I tend to, you know, quote scripture when I'm praying. Um I always, almost always say, by the stripes of Jesus you are healed. Yes. I declare the word of the Lord. Because he said it, I didn't. It's his word, not mine. And one of my favorites is um 1 Peter, oh my goodness, 1 Peter 2, 24, I believe. Yes, I'm not misquoting that. Jesus bore in his body our sins on the tree that we might die to sin and live to righteousness, for by his stripes we are healed. Yeah. And so this is this is covering soul, spirit, body, you know, because because we don't know this condition of someone's spirit and soul always. Right. But the Lord does. Right. And so we're speaking forth the word of God and we know it won't return voids. So those are two of my favorites. Also calling the body to come into alignment with its creator. That's right. Because it's created by God in his image. And if we call forth that alignment, I know that's God's will. Yeah, yeah. He created us.

Amber Sampson

So those are a couple of mine. Yeah, well, and I pray very very similar, very similar things too. Um that's one thing Kim has really taught me is praying scripture. And so I think it's important to find a scripture to pray. And if you don't know what that is, ask the Lord to give you a scripture and He's He's faithful to do it. Um I oftentimes just speak Jesus over people. Yeah, sometimes it can be so hard, but I mean what's more powerful than the name of Jesus, right?

Kim McIntire

I have

The Power Of Saying Jesus

Kim McIntire

a testimony about that. Yeah. Go ahead though. No, no, no, sure. One Sunday morning, several months ago, a woman came forward during prayer for the sick at the altar, and Everett and I were praying over this woman. And we were taught to listen to the Holy Spirit. And most people who have prayed with me know I have a lot of prayers to pray. And the Holy Spirit said, Speak my name. And all I did was repeat, just like you're saying, Amber, Jesus, Jesus, this woman started trembling.

Amber Sampson

Wow.

Kim McIntire

Weeping.

Amber Sampson

Wow.

Kim McIntire

And Everett just had his hand on her shoulder. I had my hand on her other shoulder. We said nothing but the name of Jesus, and her body reacted to that precious name. Yeah, that's good. So sometimes less is more.

Seantell Coffey

The whole the book of Acts, I've been reading through the book of Acts, and it said the the name of Jesus, the name of Jesus, the name of Jesus. It's all through there.

Amber Sampson

Amen. Yeah. Sometimes it's not about the length of the length of your prayer.

Seantell Coffey

Simple prayers can be so good. Sometimes I just lay hands on people. Peace. Bring peace to this body. Bring peace. I love Psalm 103. He forgives all of our sins. He heals all of our diseases. I love to tell them in prayer that the Lord calls himself Jehovah Rapha. I am the God who heals you. I love to tell their bodies, be healed at a cellular level. I pray similar to you, come into alignment with how you were made. That's right. How did God make you? So simple prayer. It doesn't have to be hard prayers. Just no, just when you're praying, just believe that you're talking to the Lord. I love to envision that I have them in my hand and I'm taking them into the throne room, and we're standing in front of the Father God, and I'm just saying, Father, you know what to do with this person. Please heal their body. It's just as simple as that. That's right.

Pray With Love And Good Questions

Kim McIntire

What are some things we should remember when we are praying for someone who's sick?

Seantell Coffey

I love praying for sick people. Yeah. I really do love it. So do I. I I really have the belief that if I pray with someone, I believe that the living God will come and minister to them in some way. I just have so much faith, even if they don't get healed in that moment.

Kim McIntire

Right.

Seantell Coffey

They're going to be ministered to that they were loved. We just um recently watched a video where this woman was prayed over and they prayed deeply over her. Three men prayed over her. She didn't get healed, but when it was done, she said, I just feel so loved. And I think that's just so beautiful. God is good and he's faithful. And I believe he wants to minister to their deepest need in that moment. All prayer for the sick really, I said this before, but it has to be led with love and compassion. You know, you can go in guns blazing, but if they don't know that you love them, that you care about them, you're really missing the mark. So one thing that I'm learning to do is to ask really good questions. Like, when did the sickness begin? What happened around the time that you got sick? Did trauma come in? Or was there some sin that you engaged in? Is there anything you can remember? Sometimes they do have a memory and sometimes they don't. Sometimes there are spiritual roots, like we've talked about, that need to be addressed. And we've talked a lot about unforgiveness and open doors, but sometimes there's just lifestyle choices that need correcting. Are they choosing to live in an unhealthy manner? You know, they're eating too much food, they're not moving their body, they're smoking too much, and maybe God is trying to get their attention that, hey, your body's a temple of the Holy Spirit, and I want you to, I want you to eat good food and get good rest. We may have some things to learn through this journey. So ask the Lord to specifically show you what is going on, things that maybe you're not understanding. A really great question to ask a person that you're praying for.

Do You Want To Get Well

Seantell Coffey

And Kim, you alluded to this in the last in the last podcast we did, but do you want to get well? Because sometimes sickness gives a big payoff. And they don't want to really be well. And I've experienced this with people. I'm more I'm more gun-ho to pray for their healing than they are. Right. And so that's a really good one to ask at the beginning. They've gotten comfy with their illness, and it could be it could seem scary for them to pray for healing. Yeah. Or they just don't have the gumption to really lean into the father to maybe do some of the work that needs to be done. So another thing to remember when you're praying for the sick is encourage them to seek prayer because a lot of people don't. They just want to talk about their symptoms. They don't necessarily want to go ask for prayer because it's scary. It's, you know, sometimes you've got to humble yourself a little bit to do that. But again, we're told to in the book of James to pray for the sick and anoint them. And and the sick are told to go to the elders. If you're sick, go to the elders. So I'm on the prayer team at our church, and every week we have people come up. And in the beginning, when we started this, I rarely had someone come up and ask for prayer for healing. But slowly that is starting to shift. Praise God. I know. So, you know, ask to be prayed over. Another thing to think about is to encourage them to believe what the scriptures say about the heart of God concerning healing, because a lot of people have doubt about God wanting to heal them. So help them to build faith. Something to ponder with them would be a question like, well, if it's God's will for us to be sick, then why do we go to the doctors? Because a lot of people say, well, maybe it's God's will that I'm sick. Well, if it's God's will for you to be sick, you're pretty much in direct contradiction to that if you're going to a doctor. So helping them to think through some of these things they've been taught, like that doesn't really make sense. So encouraging them, it's okay to come and ask for healing, you know, to really ask for healing, not to just ask to feel better or ask that the medicine works or that the doctors do something, but to be healed. It's okay to do that, to do that. Encourage them to seek a relationship with the Father, just listening to him, talking to him. That's just a sweetness, and it's such a gift and a blessing. Encourage that person by sharing that healing is the children's bread. Are you guys familiar with that verse in Mark 7 where Jesus heals the Syrophoenician's daughter daughter? And he says, This is the children's bread. Yeah. That is an amazing statement. We are his children. So believe that. What a good word. I think too that fasting and praying to seek God's face, if you're really needing, you're needing the Lord to move, you're needing information. Fasting and praying can be a deeply helpful practice with the Lord. Do a listening prayer on their behalf. So maybe the person hasn't really grown in their ability to hear the Lord. That was me. When I started on my healing journey, I didn't know how to really hear the Lord. And wouldn't it be a blessing to be ears for someone? Yeah. Ears to hear what God's saying.

Kim McIntire

Yeah.

Seantell Coffey

We've

Why Group Prayer Breaks Through

Seantell Coffey

talked about having a good selection of healing verses that you can pray over someone. And um, we shared that recently. And then lastly, just an encouragement for the power of group prayer for the sick. And I love this thought. I just love this thought. Sometimes breakthrough happens when we allow others to pray for us that wouldn't have happened otherwise.

Kim McIntire

That's true.

Seantell Coffey

Someone in your group, so like the three of us sitting here right now, we come with different gifting. You know, one of us may have a gift of faith, one may have a gift of healing, one may have a gift of receiving words of knowledge. But if we have someone sitting here, if we put all of our gifts together, the chances of us having movement are greater. That's true. Because we are implementing spiritual gifting. You know, none of us hold the totality of the Holy Spirit. Right. But together, we are stronger and we're better, and we're told to be together. And I have actually seen this in action, praying over people. Um, one may get some, you know, hear something from the Lord. Kim and I have prayed over people where we have had that happen. Yes. And we've had that, I've done that with other people.

Kim McIntire

And Amber and I have had that happen when we're praying for people too. It's really beautiful. The Holy Spirit will speak. Are we allowing him to speak? That's right. Listening. That's right.

Amber Sampson

Yeah. Well, and I would say I've I've had people pray for me, not necessarily I'm not I'm not really I don't really get sick very much, but I know there's been other circumstances in my life, and I've had people intercede on my behalf and praying and battling in the spirit for me or my circumstance. And same thing with, you know, uh a healing need is when you are when you bring this to a group of people, there are intercessors oftentimes, at least in the in the at least I should say for the groups that I'm in, there's intercessors in the room, and there's something powerful about somebody interceding on your behalf if you're too weak to pray for yourself, or you don't maybe you don't have enough faith in the moment, but there's people around you who do.

Seantell Coffey

And to be honest, sometimes we have faith, but we're discouraged. Yeah, yeah, you're yeah, that's true. We're so good. Downcast. Yeah. And we need our brothers and sisters to help lift us up out of the pit. We the three of us do that for each other when we're having a rough time. Yeah. And it's not an indictment on, you know, lack of faith if you're discouraged. We are just humans and that's just we're the body of Christ.

Amber Sampson

Yeah. And so we're supposed to function together. Right. You know, it can't, you can't you're not supposed to function by yourself. And so I think that that's something I always think about, just that imagery of like we're the body, and and it's important that you are connected. And so if you're not connected to the body of Christ, move in that direction. That needs to be step one. Amen. Yeah. Yeah.

Finding A Faith Filled Community

Seantell Coffey

And I even want to say this too if you are going to a church where they don't pray for the sick, they don't believe in healing, or they have a very watered-down view of we'll pray for you, but it's basically going to be, well, Lord, Susie's sick, if it's your will, get her better. If that's where you're at, I want to just encourage you to talk to the Lord. That at the very least, if you stay in your church, go go find a group that has a biblical viewpoint on healing, and that will get people around you that are faith-filled to understand their authority in Christ, that understand the power of the word of God over you.

Kim McIntire

Yeah.

Amber Sampson

And pray for that because I know there was a time before I knew Kim and some other ladies in my life. I didn't have a lot of strong women of the Lord in my life. And I was like, Lord, send I send me people, women who are running hard after you. Amen. And he has answered over uh exceedingly abundantly. And so you may not know where that group of women are at, but God knows where they are. That's right.

Kim McIntire

I want to speak to that as well. Because if you don't have that and you aren't in a church that practices the spiritual gifts, then the Lord brings you into a group like that or a church like that. Be aware that you will be uncomfortable at times. I'm speaking from experience. It's the best place to be. Allow yourself to be uncomfortable. One of my most uncomfortable memories in a circle of prayer, and I find it very ironic that you're sitting to my left, Amber. But I was in a prayer group in Cindy Ritter's home, and Amber was sitting to the left of me on the couch. And these women prayed much differently than I was accustomed to. And I believe I was in circles of faith previously. So I don't want to minimize it at all the prayer groups I was part of before. Right. But it was just a different kind of praying that I was not accustomed to. And I'll be honest, it was so uncomfortable for me. I did not want to stay. But I also recognize now the enemy did not want me to stay because he knew what was going to happen over time. Yeah. And I just became a woman full of faith for anything. Yeah. And I couldn't say that about myself four or five years ago. Right. I now believe God can do anything. Yes. Anything. Yes. And Amber was there the night that I was like wanting to hide under the coffee table. I'm never coming back. These people were too loud and too crazy. We probably were too loud, but that's it. Anyway, it was great. It was great. So just the thought. Yeah, it's good. For those of you who don't have this and you think you want it, just buckle up buttercup.

Amber Sampson

And that's but that's so good. To allow yourself to be uncomfortable because there uh yeah, there's just something, yeah, because eventually you will get comfortable in it stretches you, it grows you.

Seantell Coffey

It does. I just heard this quote recently in a sermon, and I grabbed a hold of him like this is awesome. It's he said, Um, there's a whole lot of awkward on the other side, or there's a whole lot of awesome on the other side of awkward. Yeah. And it's true. There's a whole lot of awesome on the other side of awkward. Yeah. Yeah. And with healing, and you have to in prayer, just prayer in general, sure. You have to remember that we are in a physical world that we are not used to operating in the spiritual, but you grow in that. Oh, yeah. And so you've got it, just like you get uncomfortable in anything that you grow in, you have to be willing to get uncomfortable. But the growth is way, I mean, there's no words to describe how worth it is. Yeah, it totally is. It's worth it.

Kim McIntire

Yeah. Amen.

Remove Distractions And Persevere

Kim McIntire

As we begin to wrap this this part four of the series. Do you have any final thoughts for our listeners today?

Seantell Coffey

I do. I think that one thing about healing that is helpful is to really remove distractions in your life. If you're a person, and there's again, I'm going to say this, there's no condemnation. Please do not hear that when I say this. But if if you're a person that spends your days watching television all day, or you're reading novels, or you're scrolling, social media. Social media, I want to encourage you deeply that you have to remove those distractions and you need to fill your time with Jesus. Because the enemy wants us to be distracted. That's a great tool that he has. But guys, we have to get focused, like laser focused. And if you're struggling to do that, again, have someone pray over you that God will help you to do that. But you're going to have to spend time and energy on this journey. Don't wait for Jesus to just drop it on you. You're going to have to dig in because there's probably things that you're going to have to learn, relearn, or do different. You're going to have to pray a lot. If you're not good at praying, find people that can help you. And I love this verse in Hebrews 6.12. It encourages us that through faith and perseverance, we will inherit the promises of God. So persistence and patience is just required on this journey. And at first, when I started really getting a glimpse of, oh wow, I think I can get better, I would be frustrated that it wasn't coming quickly. But it wasn't long before just the peace and the love of God was so rich and deep over me. I kind of settled into, okay, Lord, I'm ready to go as long as we need to go here. Because you're doing a deep work. There was a lot of deep things that had to heal in me. Just a reminder, don't pray the symptoms, but pray the solution. You know, a lot of people will go through the whole list of all the problems. Let's don't do that. Let's, God knows what the problems are. Pray what the solution is. And don't just pray to feel better, but pray for wholeness in everything. Because you may be bodysick because you're heart sick. That's right. You may be mental sick because you're broken on, you know, emotionally. So wholeness in everything. I want to encourage that. Yes. This next one is so good and so important, but just to take your peace and stand on it through the process. And again, I think we brought this up uh quickly in another podcast, but set peace before you and don't waver off of it. If you start to lose your peace, get with God and ask him to reveal the source of the loss of peace. Lord, am I fearing something? Why am I feeling the way I'm feeling? Am I not trusting you? Am I angry? Help me to understand why I don't have peace. But get tenacious about removing those things that he brings uh with you. And all you need to do is just, Lord, I am repenting. I'm gonna believe what you say, and I'm gonna renounce that out of my life and just ask him to restore your peace. And uh a hundred percent of the time he will do that. A hundred percent of the time. Amen. Amen. Don't don't struggle in your own strength to get peaceful. Run to him and say, I've lost my peace. I don't know why I've lost my peace. Help me to find my peace.

Guard Peace And Renew Your Mind

Seantell Coffey

Another quick little key that has been helpful for many years of my life, but Philippians 4, 4 through 8. Be anxious for nothing, or rejoice, be anxious for nothing, but in everything with prayer and supplication, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will keep your heart and your mind at rest in Christ Jesus. And then it goes on in verse 8 to say, think on these things. Good, lovely. This is literally a recipe for our mind. And so I encourage you to just get in that verse, memorize that verse, pray those verses over yourself. To rejoice, learn to rejoice. If you struggle to rejoice because you've had a lot of heartache in your life, ask the Lord to teach you how to rejoice. That's good. Refuse to live with anxiousness, be a prayerful person, talk to God all day about everything. At night, have a little sheet of paper with a pencil, write one thing down that you're thankful for. Just start with one thing. And that's a good thing to go to sleep with that that's on your mind. You know, we talked about faith, uh, expectation of good. Expect God's peace with this prayer, expect God's protection over your mind and heart. And then verse eight, think on good things only. So I had a lot of hard things as a kid that kind of skewed my mind to negative thinking, and I struggled to have positive thinking, really struggled with that. But when I started looking at verse eight, I said to myself, if God commands this, there is a way to do this. It's true. And so I just said, Lord, I don't know how to think positively. I am geared towards negative. And so he started teaching me how to think good thoughts. And it would, I might have a negative thought run through my mind, and the Lord would gently remind me, think on things that are good. Okay, what are things that are good? The trees are beautiful outside. I have such good food. My friends are so kind. I have a Bible. And I literally would say it out loud, list the good things out loud.

Amber Sampson

Well, that's and that's scientific, that that changes the way your brain functions. And so you talked about it too, writing one thing down every night before you go to bed. I know some t I know that's how that has I I can resonate with what you're saying, being more of a pessimistic um thinker. And I've done that, um, and I have what I've seen too how it's changed the way my brain, the way I function. It I am a generally happier person. But I will say too, whenever and Kim challenged me this I don't know, handful of months ago. Just kind of it was a it was a I don't remember what was really even going on, but it was a tough, it was a tough time. And Kim, she was so kind, she gave me an envelope or a card with um some cardstock squares in it, and she's like encouraged me to write the things I was thankful for. And I'll be honest, I was like, oh fuck. She eye rolled me. I did. She eye rolled me. I knew she was right, but I didn't want to do it. And uh, but I but I I knew Kim, I knew she was right, and I knew she wouldn't have done that um except out of love. And so I did it, and it does help. It does really help to get you kind of out of the funky way of thinking. Yeah.

Kim McIntire

I want to say something into this moment. Sometimes things are really, really bad, really bad, yeah, overwhelming. Yeah. This may sound a little crazy, but it's helpful. Sometimes you need to just thank the Lord that you have hot water. That's right. Yeah, the basic thing is that you can do that. Sometimes you just need to thank God that you have an indoor toilet. Yeah. Sometimes you just need to thank God that there's a bar of soap or a a pump of soap to clean your body with. Yeah. Because sometimes we have to go to very basic necessities of life to recognize how much we actually have. Right. And so I just kind of call it bare bones. Get down to the bare bones of like, what do you have that honestly many in the world population do not have hot clean water, a bar of soap, toothpaste, toilet paper, indoor plumbing. These things all sound so simple to us, but they're actually gifts. Right. Amen. So it may not be that your life is all rosy right now, but I would say if you have to dig deep, go to those places. Yeah.

Gratitude When Life Feels Heavy

Seantell Coffey

And I do want to say this. I have dear friends who have had the worst thing happen. Sure. A child has died. Right. You know, the worst thing has happened. I have a family member that was in a horrible house fire and burned and a lot of trauma around that. I do not take lightly this call in Philippians 4 to rejoice, to pray, to think on things that are good. I don't take that lightly. And at the time that I was working on my stuff, I was in another bout of suicidal depression, like just trying to not harm myself through the day. And so when I'm telling, you know, when I speak this to people, I do it with the greatest compassion and know how difficult it can be with when the worst things happen. But what I want to say is that our God is so good that all you have to say is help me, Lord, to rejoice. That's right. Help me, Lord, to get my mind on things that are good. Help me, Jesus, and He will come in. Amen. And He will help you because He is faithful. I want to say that. Amen. That's good. And last, just the last couple of things here. Um this whole section is really just a reminder to just try to learn to glance at your issues that are hard, but gaze at God. Amen. Just get your eyes on Him. That's it. And He'll teach you how to do that. Yes, he will. You know, some basic things like watching healing testimonies on YouTube when I started being able to really devour content. You know, I could listen to things. I loved healing testimonies that would get me through a day, just healing, hearing about people getting well. I read books about healing and stories about healing. Just a last little reminder: don't stop your medical treatment. Don't stop taking your meds without talking to family and your doctors and praying a lot. You need confirmation that that's what you need to do. But talk to God about what you take. Talk to him about your medicine, talk to him about your treatment, and he will lead you. And then just don't quit. That's right. Don't quit. You don't want to quit five minutes before the miracle happens. The miracle may happen. Be ready to happen and you stop right before. Like, unless God, you're clear, you're 100% clear. God says quit. Don't quit. I've only had the Lord tell me one time to stop praying for someone. One time. Yeah. So don't quit.

Yeah. That's good. That's

good. The one I just I've been thinking about just how important it is to renew your mind. A lot of us, you know, have been in church a lot of our life, and maybe just haven't, for one, probably haven't heard a lot of these things. And this is a lot of information. All these four episodes, they're excellent content, but it challenges me and the way I'm praying and challenges my my thinking. And so I just want to encourage you guys our listeners as well to just uh uh uh exercise your faith, exercise, you know, in your prayer time to really allow the Lord to uh change your beliefs um and and really grab a hold of this. This is stuff I'm I mean I'm saying this to you because I'm saying it to myself too, of like you know, there's circumstances, um, people I'm praying for, and I I need this content, and I and so I just want to encourage people to renew your mind and allow the Lord to um renew your mind over your beliefs about how you're of how you're praying and um that's good yeah and ask him to do it. Yeah, invite him in. That's something I've really learned in the last several months of allow God into all the things, the hard things, the small things, the big things, all the emotions, so that you're sad, lonely, depressed, discouraged, joyful, whatever it might be, and say, God, come into this feeling, come into this. And just because that's part of being in an intimate relationship with the Lord is allowing him in to your feelings, and that can be really uncomfortable in in some ways, but I found it to be really comforting actually because you know, if you're married, your spouse can only do so much, but God, he can he can go deeper, he knows the he knows the inner, you know, all the threads attached.

So and our human relationships can't be available 24-7, and they also can't be the source for what we need because if we start going to people instead of God, they can take the position that he only belongs to him. So, like you said, put your gaze on the Father. Yeah, absolutely. Put your gaze on the Father. This was so good. Thank you so much, Seantell.

Amber Sampson

This has been so good, and um, I know you put a lot of effort into preparing and studying, yeah, and bringing this to the table. And you've given us um I don't know how many hours of time. But this is so good, so thank you. We're very grateful.

Seantell Coffey

Prayer and healing are my favorite things to talk about. So this was a blessing.

And

Closing Prayer For Healing

Kim McIntire

we're gonna close in prayer, actually. So yeah, let's pray over our listeners. Father God, you are who you say you are, you are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals. Amber, Seantell, and I come in agreement for any listener who is struggling with any need for healing. We speak the name of Jesus over every listener. We plead the holy blood of Jesus over every listener. We say to their bodies, come into alignment in Jesus' name. By the stripes of Jesus, you are the healed of the Lord. We say, be healed in Jesus' name. And listener, may you receive your healing now by faith in the only one who can. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus, for by your stripes we are healed. We stand on the word of the Lord. Amen. Father, we love you and we give you praise in Jesus' holy name. Amen. Amen.
