Lullabies in the Wind

John Muthuri Season 1 Episode 41

Send us a text

When the wind drifts through the trees

the birds lean into its sway,

letting their voices glide

like soft feathers brushed across the day

They sing in hushes and half-notes

tiny lanterns of sound

floating on wandering currents

that circle the listening ground

Each chirp becomes a cradle-rock

each trill a calming sigh

woven with the breeze's whisper

as it moves across the sky

Together they lull the landscape

branches, grasses, even the dust

into a quiet, rhythmic dreaming

held gently by the wind's trust

A lullaby of wings and weather

steady as a heartbeat's tone

reminding every listener

that nature never sings alone
