Forget skydiving and swimming with sharks – we're redefining bucket lists with a heavy dose of absurdity and a splash of cabernet sauvignon. These aren't your typical life goals, but that's exactly the point.

Our non-serious bucket list items emerged from a shared philosophy that experiences matter more than possessions & the quirkier those experiences, the more memorable they become.

Whether you're adventure-inclined or simply looking to add some whimsy to your life goals, this episode offers permission to embrace the ridiculous. Because honestly, wouldn't you rather tell stories about fencing with bread in Paris than just visiting another tourist spot?

Share your own wild bucket list items with us on social media – photographic evidence of completion is strongly encouraged!

Remember, life's too short for boring bucket lists!

Welcome to Fearlessly Female

Brittany

Welcome to Fearlessly Female, where two blondes make a right. We're Brittany and Meghan, the host of Fearlessly Female. This podcast was born out of ambition, drive and a lot of wine. We're two powerhouse comedic women having uncensored conversations about topics that affect women.

Meghan

Okay, let's be real. Everyone's heard of the typical bucket list stuff like skydiving, swimming with sharks or traveling to Paris, but that's not why you're here, right?

Brittany

No way, we're here for the weird, the wonderful, and did they really just say that kind of goals?

Meghan

That's right. Today we're talking about non-serious, slightly absurd but totally achievable bucket list items that you didn't even know you needed. We posted our non-serious bucket list items on our Instagram story for you all to vote. Who has the more out there? Bucket list Warning calm your tits. Offense will not be taken here. Grab your favorite drink, burn your bra and have a good time.

Brittany

Before we get into the wild and wonderful ideas we have lined up we figured it's only fair to share how we came up with this list because, believe it or not, there was some serious brainstorming involved.

Meghan

And yes, that sound you just heard is our unofficial mascot, cabernet Sauvignon. You can thank it for the creative ideas we're about to throw your way. Growing up experiences were just drilled into me. Didn't matter if you did it multiple times or it became a hobby. But go see, try it also parlayed into gifts later in my life. So I don't buy my parents' dusty tchotchkes . We go do stuff. Now my dad thinks I'm trying to off him and get to the will earlier because he has been straight up allergic to some of the experiences. But that is a whole other story.

Brittany

Oh my gosh. So when I was a kid, I had a list of typical bucket list things. You know, go here, see this, try that. And then, as I got older, my teachers would go on vacation and tell me they went, you know, blackwater rafting in New Zealand or kayaking in Antarctica. And I thought, oh my gosh, that's so cool. And I was just drawn to these stories because they were so just unusual. So I started to create a list of absolutely just ridiculous things I could do for myself.

Marathon in T-Rex Costume

Meghan

All right then. Well, let's get this party started. First up on our unusual bucket list items run a marathon in one of those inflatable T-Rex costumes. Listen, I was inspired. I'd seen a video of this guy in one of those inflatable T-Rex suits doing the most awkward jog and I thought this is the energy I want to bring into my life. Plus, how epic would it be to say, yeah, I finished a marathon and I did it dressed as a dinosaur.

Brittany

Yes, oh my gosh, I mean that's just something oddly satisfying Watching a T-Rex attempt to run 26.2 miles, flailing, tightening arms and all. I can't imagine like the crowd cheering you on. And you're just there channeling your inner Jurassic Park.

Meghan

Plus you go down in history as the T-Rex that could. That's all legacy, and if anyone tries to pass you, you just casually turn your giant head and roar at them Intimidation tactic.

Brittany

Oh my gosh, okay, okay, my turn Picture this Having a baguette fight under the Eiffel Tower.

Meghan

Like fencing with bread? Oi, oi. I'm so here for this. Can we make this a thing where the winner gets to eat the baguette afterward?

Brittany

I mean, if you're going to be in Paris, why not just lean into the cliches? I'm talking dramatic, slow motion, baguettes, sword fights, while tourists walk by just completely bewildered, and honestly, you'd make someone's vacation. They'd be like honey. I thought Paris was all romance, but we just watched two women duel with bread. It was beautiful.

Meghan

And then you follow it up with a glass of wine because France. Quick side story. I took fencing as a PE class once and, similar to how men use cups when they play sports like football and soccer, women get these steel cups for their boobs in fencing.

Brittany

We can use them as bread baskets afterwards

Meghan

I would say delicious!

Brittany

All right. All right. Dare to ask what's next on your list.

Meghan

This one's for the adventure junkies visiting Everest Base Camp. But do not climb, oh no, Just to drink hot chocolate. Snap a selfie and say, yep, I made it here and didn't die.

Brittany

Guess that's the kind of accomplishment we can get behind.

Meghan

Look, climbing Everest props to those who do it, but I'm not about to train for months and risk frostbite. I'm here for the cute mountain lodge vibes and definitely enjoy some cocoa with a view.

Brittany

Exactly, I'm pretty adventurous, but not that adventurous and honestly, trekking up to base camp is still pretty badass. Just without the whole near-death experience thing, I'd be there just taking in the Himalayas like I'm not climbing those, but I'm here.

La Tomatina Festival Dreams

Meghan

Okay, last one for this round. I'm starting to see a theme here, Drumroll please.

Brittany

Okay, attend La Tomatilla Festival in Spain. You know the giant tomato throwing festival. Imagine just getting covered in squashed tomatoes and feeling like you're in a giant food fight with 20,000 other people. It's like a stress reliever, but with produce.

Meghan

It's not even weird, because everyone else is also covered in tomatoes. It's messy, it's wild, it's very Mediterranean. Plus, who doesn't want to live out their sauciest tomato dreams in Spain?

Brittany

Right, it's like I'm going to aggressively pelt you with this tomato and we're still going to be best friends at the end.

Meghan

Can you imagine us being there like covered in tomato sauce, just laughing and trying to dodge splatters while someone yells? Ole in the background.

Brittany

I'd be the one trying to catch tomatoes midair. I'm like wait, don't waste that, we can make bruschetta.

Meghan

It's chaotic.

Meghan

It's fun. It's a little bit of a mess, kind of like this podcast

Brittany

oh my gosh.

Brittany

Well, here's the real question Are we all talk or have we tried any of these unusual bucket list items? Megan, what's your count?

Meghan

Zero for zero. We do need to achieve these, though, so we have more content for a future season of Fearlessly Female. What about you?

Brittany

I never kiss and tell oh good.

Meghan

All right, that's all the time we have for today. Thanks for joining us on this little adventure. We hope you enjoyed this peek into our ridiculously non-serious bucket lists. Check out our Instagram story to see who you guessed correctly

Brittany

And if you got your own unusual bucket list, share it with us on social media. And if you actually do one of these things, we want photographic evidence.

Meghan

Remember, life's too short for boring bucket lists. Don't forget to add some spicy, fun and ridiculous to yours. Until then, cheers to living life fearlessly, even if it means throwing bread in a landmark.
