Hi! I'm Alex! A Family Nurse Practitioner who decided to pause my career to raise my five sons. Being a mom is my absolute dream job and my goal for this podcast is to encourage you in your own motherhood journey.
We'll chat all the mom life things - faith, fertility, marriage, stay at home moms life with toddlers, babies, tweens, health and wellness, homeschooling, and I'll share all my favorite resources, books, tips, and nurse mama hacks.
My goal is for you to leave the episode energized and encouraged in God's plans for your motherhood - because I truly believe that a joyful mama can change the world. As my patron Saint, Mother Teresa says, "Joy is a net of love by which we catch souls." Let's do this!

My Story of becoming a SAHM
#002 - Alex discusses her nursing career journey having various jobs in the hospital, outpatient, getting her Masters, working as a Family & hospice NP, moving to her first home and becoming a fertility practitioner.
Having 5 babies in between all that finally led to her decision to become a SAHM.
She gives tips and encouragement for any mom discerning this transition from career to staying at home in Joyful Motherhood.
