The role of supporter is delicate and demanding—even more so when you’re trying to figure out how to support your significant other through an eating disorder. You question if you’re actually seeing disordered eating behaviors, how to get help, what help to get, and the weight of trying to manage a romantic relationship, to name a few. But hope and help is available!

Amy Ozier is back for a conversation with Chrissy around the unique challenges of navigating an eating disorder or body image issues within a romantic relationship. We discuss relationship challenges caused by eating disorders, how treatment can impact relationships, how to incorporate food-neutral language, and why it’s so important to take care of yourself as the caregiver.

This episode is for those of you battling an eating disorder, fighting for freedom, and struggling to connect with your loved one. The healing journey isn’t linear, but God is with you every step of the way.
