We got a bit of a lighter episode for ya this week, but its still a weird story.

On July 14th 1518 Frau Troffea walked out of her home in Strasbourg France and began dancing. But this was not joyful twirling, line dancing, or any of the dancing we have today, instead it was a manic dancing that lasted well into the night and only stopped once Troffea fell asleep.

But the next day she would wake up and start dancing again. Soon more people began joining her and before long almost 400 people had joined in the choreomania that would last for two months.

Even today with the technology we have there is no way for us to know what caused this plague, or any of the others to follow. But I can definitely see it happening again in the future.
