Episode 70: The Crusades Part 3:

We are finally finishing our look at the Crusades, Holy wars fought by the papacy against, well, anyone they wanted to really.
While they might have started fighting against the Muslims for the, quote unquote, Holy Land, before long people were having petty crusades against each other and other Christian factions.
But by the 1400's a new and more powerful empire was rising, the Ottomans, and the church had bigger issues to contend with.
