David Longpre
As the Principal Architect at Longpre Architecture, a Vancouver-based firm specializing in residential, institutional, and commercial projects, I am passionate about creating innovative and sustainable designs that enhance the well-being of occupants and the human experience. I hold a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Calgary, where I developed a global perspective and a deep appreciation for architecture's cultural and environmental context.
Inspired by the Japanese concept of "kami," I view architecture as "Vessels for the Soul," using authentic materials and advanced techniques to harmonize with the surroundings and the community. I have successfully managed and delivered multiple projects, ranging from character house conversions and laneway homes to educational and cultural facilities, always with the goal of contributing to a vibrant future. I am also currently serving as a member of the Heritage Advisory Commission for the City of North.
