Elizabeth Yarnell has a mission to improve lives simply by changing the way we eat.

Award-winning author, patented inventor, entrepreneur, and traditional naturopath empowering MS and other autoimmune suffers, Elizabeth strives to help people identify the foods and lifestyle elements that are not inflammatory for them, and then to inspire new ways to think about living and eating.

After a 1999 diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis forced her to take a good look at her own diet and lifestyle, she dove into researching the connection between what we eat and how we feel. The infusion cooking technique she subsequently invented and patented not only gave her a way to alter the course of her health, but also offered a deliciously quick and convenient weeknight dinner solution for just about anybody.

An  anti-inflammatory diet/nutritional expert offering clinical dietary consulting and other anti-inflammatory protocols for people suffering from multiple sclerosis or other autoimmune conditions, Elizabeth enjoys sharing knowledge and ideas about eating healthily, natural health remedies, and living a natural lifestyle on her popular blog, Effortless Eating For Healthier Bodies,as well as elsewhere online and in the media. She can be sometimes be found teaching cooking classes at various cooking schools.

Elizabeth’s 2005, independently-published cookbook introducing her revolutionary, patented cooking concept spent more than eight weeks on the Local Bestsellers list and garnered multiple awards.

The latest edition of her cookbook, Glorious One-Pot Meals: A Revolutionary New Quick and Healthy Approach to Dutch Oven Cooking, was released from Clarkson-Potter (a Random House imprint) on January 6, 2009, and has now sold more than 60,000 copies. Elizabeth’s unique cooking method and inspirational story has been featured in numerous magazines, newspapers, television shows, online, and on the radio.

As director of the Fight MS with Food project, Elizabeth oversees diet-based research and options for managing multiple sclerosis by focusing on the connection between food sensitivities and auto-immune diseases. As a social entrepreneur, she searches for ways to offset the participation fees for the financially-stressed MS community so that economics are not a barrier to achieving health.

An inspirational speaker on the national circuit, Elizabeth motivates and empowers audiences to believe that small, daily choices in foods and lifestyle can directly affect how we feel. With or without a professional, television-ready cooking demonstration, Elizabeth’s presentations leave audiences not only with compelling reasons to take charge of their health, but with concrete tools to help accomplish this goal.
