Robert Lane
Robert Lane is a former missionary who has worked in Chad, Uganda, and South Sudan. His focus has been on training people for missionary work and equipping them to learn new languages. Robert holds several degrees: a BAS in Linguistics and Christian Ministry from Dallas Baptist University, an MSc in Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh, and an MA in Intercultural Studies from Southeastern Theological Seminary.
He is currently a PhD candidate in New Testament and Christian Origins at the University of Edinburgh, where his research focuses on the use of metaphors in the Gospel of Matthew. Before beginning his doctoral studies, Robert served as Missionary in Residence at Union University, where he taught courses in New Testament and Missions.
