James Maurice Morgan
James is a lecturer and researcher in biblical studies at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland, where he teaches New Testament, Greek, and exegesis. He specialises in the Gospel of Luke and Acts, and has written numerous scholarly articles and book chapters on these texts. He is the author of Encountering Images of Spiritual Transformation: The Thoroughfare Motif within the Plot of Luke–Acts, and has recently focused on reading Luke’s Gospel in light of ancient Greek historians—especially Herodotus, a theme we explore in this episode.
