Hi everyone, I'm Stan Mallow. Welcome to Paranormal Yakker. My guest today is UK-based UFOlogist& filmmaker Mark Christopher Lee. His film God vs Aliens was premiered at Canne's Film Festival. His latest film, The King of UFOs, is based on his book of the same name, which I'll be talking with him about. The King of UFOs, Royal UFO Secrets Revealed, explores the British Royal family's interest in UFOs & the paranormal. Mark Christopher Lee, welcome to Paranormal Yakker. Hello Stan, thank you for having me on, it's much appreciated. Much of your life has been devoted to the music industry where you were quite successful, what with you being an award-winning composer, founding member of the Cult Indie band, The Pocket Gods,& in 2007 founded Nub Music, a record company whose roster consists of classic legends & cutting-edge new music. At what point, Mark, do your interest in music expand to the exploration of the world of the paranormal & UFOs, especially as it relates to the Royal family? Sure, good question Stan. I've actually been really interested in the paranormal& UFOs since I was a kid really. Growing up in the ‘70s-’80s, there was a magazine called The Unexplained & then Sir Arthur C Clarke, who did 2001, he had a TV series in the UK called The Mysterious World, which looked at ghosts, UFOs, stone circles, all this sort of stuff.& that piqued my imagination, so I've always had an interest & always been looking for stuff.& then yeah, my path went down the musical direction.& I guess it's the last couple of years that I wanted to pursue this because I basically started making films about my band.& there's a couple out there & that's what kind of really got me interested in making films.& I think, well, I want to make a film about the paranormal, about UFOs, because that's my main interest really.& the music thing is kind of, I don't know, about saying too, but there's not much money to be made in music anymore as my campaign has found out. So I wanted to diversify a little bit.& that's why I started making films.& then regarding the Royal family, I was lucky enough to meet this retired police officer in England called John Hanson.& he's got this fabulous UFO archive in Stratford-upon-Avon, which is like Shakespeare's country.& he's got thousands & thousands of documented sightings. But amongst those, he's also got letters from the Queen, Prince Philip, Lord Mountbatten, just saying about their interest in UFOs & the paranormal.& I was like, whoa, that blew my mind. I think, wow, if the Royal family are into this stuff, then maybe us Brits should be too. Because in America, you've got the UFO Disclosure Movement. You've got far more interest in UFOs, UAPs. You've got Congress has got hearings, whereas in the UK, nothing. I want to try & use this film & book to try & kickstart some sort of UFO disclosure movement. Queen Victoria & her husband, Prince Albert, who very much into spiritualism& attended these seances, when he passed into spirit. The Green Health seances were mediums delivered messages to her from him. Why can you tell me about those seances? Yeah, I mean, that's very much because Queen Victoria was basically heartbroken once, you know, her husband, Prince Albert, died. She wanted to find a way of contacting her dead husband. & seances & spiritualism just came into kind of came out of nowhere, really. It came from the United States, where there's a big movement there, a spiritualist.& this kind of moved over into the UK& she heard about it & she wanted to test it out.& she used to hold seances at Buckingham Palace, of all places. You know, everyone knows Buckingham Palace, but having all these weird seances& trying to contact various people. I mean, there was some famous psychics in England, Daniel Douglas Holme& Robert James Lee. They were the ones that were giving messages to Queen Victoria & is alleged that these psychics made things levitate& things like that. So nobody knows exactly what the messages were given to her. But it was enough for her to keep continuing having these seances & meetings.& it was serious business at the time.& you had people like Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the author, Sherlock Holmes. He was promoting spiritualism & seances as scientific facts. That's where it was going at the time. Of course, later found out quite a few of them were frauds.&, you know, like of all things, or areas of life, you're always going to have the fraudsters to try& make money out of it. But there were legitimate ones. &, you know, there still are, in my opinion as well. Prince Philip's uncle, Lord Mountbatten, also known as Prince Charles' honorary godfather, was a UFO enthusiast & even documented an alien spaceship landing on his estate. What do we know about that landing & of Lord Mountbatten's interest & investigations into the UFO UAP phenomenon? Yeah, I mean, Mountbatten was, you know, he was an admiral. He was a member of the Royal Family. He was the first one really to show an interest in UFOs.& like you said, there was this encounter at his country estate in Hampshire, where his house was.& this is documented in the Mountbatten archives, which were released in the ‘80s & ‘90s. It's only quite recently that we found out about this. But in these archives, we see a detailed report of this, basically UFOs, a source of spapecraft landed in its estate. This ladder came down& an alien got out. Mountbatten's gardener, a Fred Bricklayer, was there at a time. He shocked him. He fell off his bike.& he gave a statement about this. & Mountbatten, though he wasn't present at the time of this landing, he did write an affidavit vouching to the honesty of Fred Bricklayer, his worker.& he said he's got no reason to make it up. He generally believes that this encounter happened.& Mountbatten was also before this, he was into UFOs.& his biographer, Philip Ziegler, said that Mountbatten actually thought that these UFOs were alive. They were possibly coming from Jupiter or Saturn. There was some sort of paranormal, nonphysical element to these UFOs. That today is quite a lot of people think that. But back in 1950s, that was whoa, that is amazing. So, yeah, like you said, Mountbatten, he was the cheerleader for British Royal families & UFOs. Sir Peter Horsley was a decorated war hero & longtime associate of the Royal family. At the request of Prince Philip, he investigated Mr Janus, who exhibited telepathic abilities& an intimate knowledge of extraterrestrial life. What were the findings of his investigation? Well, basically, yeah, yeah. Sir Peter Horsley, he was Prince Philip's equerry kind of servant.& Sir Peter Horsley would go & get information about UFOs & give it to Prince Philip. Because Prince Philip had to be careful politically. So he had to get all this information in secret. So Sir Peter Horsley would do this.& one of these encounters with this character called Janus & Sir Peter Horsley was meeting this Janus in a flat in London& having these meetings. & Peter Horsley claimed that this Janus was telepathic & had an otherworldly quality.& was thinking that he was an alien, basically. & then this Janus, who might have been an alien, really wanted to meet with Prince Philip. So Sir Peter Horsley was trying to arrange this meeting. It never happened, probably fortunately, because what we found out now is that most likely Janus was a Russian spy.& this is a way in to find information, secrets from Prince Philip, because, you know, he's into UFOs& people knew that. So we get this alien & get this information from him. Interesting story. Queen Elizabeth & Prince Philip were known to have had a fascination with crop circles. In fact, it has been reported the Queen herself dispatched a senior adviser to investigate them. Were the findings of that senior adviser ever released to the public? No, there haven't been. No. I got this story from crop circle researcher & author Colin Andrews. He was actually down. It was in 1990 in Wiltshire. & he was with a Japanese film crew, TV film crew, who were filming this crop circle that just appeared.& they got word that the Queen was going to come down & attend. & this Rolls Royce turns up& they get all excited. Expecting the Queen to get out. It wasn't there. He was a chief scientific adviser. He came & took some details, did a few reports, examinations & took them away. It's all still secret. It's probably in the archives in Windsor, Windsor Castle, I imagine, where there are a lot of secrets still hidden. So the truth about UFOs, crop circles, aliens, paranormal, that could all be in the Windsor Castle archives. Since Paranormal Yakker is based in Canada, I would be amiss if I didn't ask you, Mark, about claims that when Prince Charles, now King Charles, was in Nova Scotia in Canada in 1975, he flew a UFO? Yeah, this is a fabulous story. It was a Canadian called Dan Costello. He was a diver at the time. It was like, yeah, like I said, 1975 in Sandy Point in Nova Scotia.& Costello claims to have seen Prince Charles. He was stationed nearby on an aircraft carrier, HMS Hermes, as a helicopter pilot. They were these kind of Canadian & British military naval facilities at Sandy Point.& Costello claims to have seen Charles as one of 3 pilots in this weird UFO type craft. It had 3 dome-like projections & it had a dual rotor blade, a bit like a helicopter, but then the weird bit, it had a blue ionic flame coming from the back of it, which was scorching the earth& turning it to glass. So it was some sort of weird electromagnetic helicopter, possibly not extraterrestrial, but a UFO, because we don't know what it is. It's probably some secret technology that the British, Canadians & Americans were developing because Charles was said to have been one of the pilots that took it to Langley, the NASA base across the border. Yeah, it's a mystery & Costello possibly thinks it's linked to Nikola Tesla, who actually did experiments in the 1900s in that area regarding ionic propulsion & things like that. It's a weird, weird story, but yeah, it's Nova Scotia. I mean, I'm a big fan of Oak Island & the mystery there, so it's another mystery. There is a modern myth, a bizarre one for sure, that the British Royal family are shape-shifting lizards. Where, Mark, did this myth come from & why do people believe it? It's an interesting one. I mean, historically there is the myth in ancient Samaria of these Anunnaki, these alien type lizard creatures coming to Earth & making us a kind of slave hybrid race. I think a lot of it goes back to that there is, you know, the legends of lizard aliens & things like that. So I'm sure part of it's that. But then, you know, most of it's down to this British author, David Icke, conspiracy theorist author. Some of his stuff is pretty, pretty spot on in terms of predicting the way the world's going. But I don't buy this as an actual thing because I've been telling people that I've made this film, King of UFOs, written this book. Oh, you know, Royal family, alien shape-shifting lizards. Well, I said, yeah, it's a myth. Probably not true. Don't get your hopes up. But it's an interesting myth & it's part of popular culture now. That's what it is. It falls in with the Anunnaki, the Illuminati, all that kind of stuff in the conspiracy world. Some people believe it because they want to believe in stuff. Prince Philip's quest for the truth about UFOs unveils Royal involvement in international agreements & brings to light the significance of the Five Eyes Agreement & intelligence alliance between the UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand & US. What Mark can you tell me about that agreement? Yeah, I mean, I got what I know about this agreement from Nick Pope, who used to work for the British Ministry of Defense. He's in the King of UFOs film. So I was lucky enough to interview him.& this is still ongoing. The Five Eyes Agreement basically cover up the truth that we are being visited. We have technology from aliens. & that the Five Eyes Agreement is between those nations, you said. They're going to share that technology, back engineer it for the benefit of those nations. That's basically what it is. Whether we're actually going to get the truth from the Five Eyes nations are very much that. But they're safeguarding us from the truth because the truth is, you know, they are here. They're visiting us. It would change our outlook on life & how we see ourselves in the universe & religion & things like that. So, you know, these nations are currently doing it for our own benefit. I think they're probably making, picking money out of it somewhere. That's my guess. Do we know, Mark, how Prince William, the future king of England, looks at the possibility that UFOs, UAPs exist? & has he shown as much interest in exploring the phenomena as did his dad & grandfather? I mean, a simple answer to that is he hasn't shown much publicly. I have heard from various sources that he's had his own UFO experience. But I don't know much more than that. It's come from a really good source, someone close to Prince William. So he is a believer. You assume because his grandfather, Prince Philip, his father, Prince Charles, is going to be passed down.& you can just imagine them all getting together at Balmoral in Scotland over New Year's Eve or something like that. & they're all swapping UFO stories or something. I'm sure it has. & I know he does believe in ghosts. He's talked about his home in Norfolk called Amner Hall. He says, yeah, it's haunted. You know, it's an old house. It has a ghost. I'm not bothered. It doesn't scare him. You know, they just take it as a matter of fact, ghosts that exist, they're in the houses because they're ancient & they live alongside them. So I'm sure he's got an open mind with regards to UFOs as well. Yeah, Chris, I'd love for there to be a continuing Royal family with UFO, UAPs,& you have another sequel over there to your book, which would be great.
