Hi everyone, I'm Stan Mallowwelcome to Paranormal Yakker.My guest on today's show is giftedspiritual medium, intuitive and healerRoseMarie Rubinetti Cappiello.I'll be talking with RoseMarieabout her book, Speaking fromSpirit, Inspiring Stories FromThose Who Have Passed On.RoseMarie Rubinetti Capiello,welcome to Paranormal Yakker.Thanks for having me.Speaking from Spirit is acompilation of 25 stories told toyou mostly from spirits that havecrossed into thenon-physical realm.Could you Ro share maybewhat it's with them?What happened with this was thatvery first medium experience, I hadto sit down andwrite it like a scribe.I'm hearing her like she's tellingme her story. Okay, okay, okay.All right, and then it was done.And I couldn't likeget my own thoughts.Like I was like, right, this is mythought, but that shedidn't just say that.This is what I'm thinking aboutwhat she just said.I didn't realize that wasgoing to be a prototype.I don't know if other mediums havedone that or if that's theirprocess or anything.That was definitelymine in the beginning.I'm hearing something. Let me writeit down. Take notes.Fast forward now, it's 2010.And I go and see with another verydear friend ofmine, another medium.Her name is Rita Giganti.We go to see this guy namedRay Scott, supposedly got the stigmata.Me, I'm a skeptic.I'm like, really?And I'm not religious.We go to see this guy.It is one of those meetings that atfirst I walk in and I'm like, whathokey crap is this?And then I look at him and my wholelife changes in a flash.And I say to Rita, we got to getout of here becausesomething just happened.And I don't know what justhappened, but I'm notthe same person now.This is April.Few months later, my mom dies andI start to get this compelling thatI have to sit with people in thespirit world andhear their stories.So I'm like, OK, so not like I haveto do a reading forStan and his loved one.By this time, I'm done a thousandreadings more than10,000 readings by this point.It's 2010.So I would sit and I'd sit at mydesk and I might be at my computerand be like, all right, I'msupposed to sit and wait forsomebody to come andwrite their story down.Oh, there's lint over there.Oh, I got to do this.Oh, my oh, I gotto get to the shop.Oh, somebody's here.And then I'd say tothem, who are you?They tell me their name.And I'd say, well, whatdo you want to tell me?And I just start writing.What was so amazing about this wasthat I would type so fast.I'm the worst typist.Probably the only class Igot to be in ever.I would type this story.But as I'm hearing it,I'd be like, oh, no kidding.Really, you know, like, get out.That really happened.And they give this higherperspective on it.Like, this is what I went through.But after I died, this is howI really saw things.And they would allsay the same thing.You don't have to wait till you dieto see it this way.You can get that innow and you should.Now, I write this.There would be no spelling errors.There would be no editing needed.It was like they were like--I would go there.Harry Potter protected.You can't go near them.After like 3 or 4, I startto say to my husband,I think, can you readthis and just tell mewhat you think of this orif this has any meaning?Because to me, these are amazing.He's very supportive.But he was like, yeah, they'rereally kind of good.But you didn't spellanything wrong in it either.Did the computer auto-correct it?I was like, I don't know.This goes on in this process.And now I start to realize I'mcompiling something here.This is going to be a book.And again, I'malways in resistance.I'm like, oh, come on.I don't have the time to do this.Lots of kids, tons of bit.I start to get it done.But some of the most profound onesfor me-- so there's 26.One is my own sister story, whichwas very cathartic for me to write.It was very healing of the trauma.And what I learned from that waswhen you experience deathwith someone you love, you gothrough trauma with them,no matter how they die, whetherit's a sudden death, a sickness.So on top of thegrief, you have trauma.And one way to deal with trauma isto get the story out, to tell it.So that was very cathartic.And that was very helpful inunderstanding grief.But there was a storyabout this young boy.And I was very resistant.He kept coming to mesaying, my name is Joseph.My name is Joseph.And I want to tell you my story.And he tells me aboutI think it had to be likeit had to be Stalin era when Stalinwas really abusinghis people and starving them.And he tells aboutthe soldiers come in.They take all the adultsand leave all the kids.And I'm in charge.I'm like 6 years old of all thesekids that are left behind.They leave us to die.As a mother, I'm like, I don't wantto hear this story.I can't go to this.I can't.And it was interesting because Ikept pushing them off,but it kept coming back.So I'd be walking.And he'd be in my face, notliterally like I didn't see him.I just would feel him.So finally, I acquiesce.And I sit.And I hear his story.And it comes outbeautiful about howhe talks about having this verydeep compassion for these peoplethat did this to him and hisfamily, not hatred, not anger.They were so wounded and so brokenthat they could dosomething like this.Then there was the girl, Izzy, whotells me about her deathand how she's being murdered.She doesn't go intodetail about that.But she says, when she's dying,she's out of her body.She already is leaving her bodybefore she's dead,her body's physically dead.And she says, I'm aware of allthese angels there.And she says, butthey're not there for me.They're there for theperson that's killing me.And I'm like, whatare you talking about?They're not coming to take him tohelp or stop him.And she's like, no,they can't stop him.He has to make his ownfree will and choices.But they're giving him opportunityto change his mind,to come back to himself.And they're trying to help himchoose differently,but they can't choose for him.And they're there forhim because he needs help.I don't need the help.I'm like, this is too big for me.I gotta sit and digest this.So these wereconscious changing stories.There was one by Edgar Allan Poe,who I loved as a writer.There was one by awoman named Conniewho talked about dying when herkids were little.There was one about this doctorwho helped a lot of people.There were so many meaningful,there was one aboutthis kid named Jasonwho talked abouthaving an addictionwhen he OD'd that there was peoplethat prayed for himand that didn't even know him.And he felt those prayersand how that helped him.They werenon-denominational prayers.It wasn't like, it's a, thisreligious prayer.They were praying forhim and he could feel that.And it was upliftinghis power and light againfrom what he lost in that lifetime.So they were very inspirational.They were very eye-opening.They were like, I can't believethat that's how you see it.And it changed the way I thought.It pushed me intohigher consciousnessand it changed theway I see this world.Fast forward now and there's a showon called Ghosts.There's a character that writes herghost character story.She's a living person.And I'm like, John, I did that.I did that for these people.People ask me if I'mcompelled to write more.I am, but I haven't been compelledto sit and do it.But when I do, like Idon't feel like somedayI'm gonna do that orI'm gonna write again,but it's like, Ihaven't gotten the order yetthat I usually get from spirit.Like sit down and do it.My next question foryou, Ro, is in 2 parts.While they are different in contentand scope, they are alsointerconnected and have a commondenominator since they both involveyou communicating with someone inthe spirit world for one ofyour clients hereon the earth plane.What type of questions, Ro, dopeople on the earth plane generallyrequest you ask theirdeparted loved oneson the spirit plane?They want to know if they're okay.Everybody on this plane worriesabout them and if they're okay.And every time the spirit laughsbecause they're like, we're great.Don't worry about us.We couldn't be better.This plane is so much lighter thanthe one that you are on.That's always the first question.The second is usually,What are you doing?I have heard themost amazing things.We think we're going to go toheaven and justfloat around, I guess,and have nothing to do.But our work and our life continuesprobably in a higher octave.It's not like we have super power,but we don't have thelimits of time and space.So we can be more effective.And because our energy is in itspurest form of just love and joy,we can be more effective inanything we do help with.They won't jump in and intervenelike God or angelswon't jump in and...Well, I shouldn't say anything.There's angelintervention all the time.I don't...Otherwise, we would have nevermanaged to live on thisplanet as long as we have.But they don't takeaway our free will.They let us make our own choices.So people in the spirit world willdo the same thing,but they will offer this grace orthis love or support.And people underestimate this.Like, Well, what does that do?But when we receive a grace or alove or a download of peace,it allows us to get clear.It allows us to come more to ourown right why selfthat will help us to navigatethrough whateverchallenge or find the answeror find the rightconnection or synchronicity.So people will say, What doesprayer do for somebody?What does my loved ones do if theycan't fix this for me?Well, they're offering you the openspace and the energy you need tofind what you needand to navigate forward becausethat is going tobe your empowerment.Somebody coming and fixingsomething for you isnever going to empower you.And that is always going to allowyou to evolve, reclaim yourself,hold yourself, grow.And it is a very powerful forcethat they give us.And even when a living praysfor us, even if they praywith their own agenda,we somehow get the energy that'struly being sent to us.But those are the 2 questionsthat living people ask.I will tell them all the time, likethey'll say to me,Well, if I make an appointment tocome to you or any other medium,how do I know myloved ones are coming?I'm like, Well, you made theappointment, but theycalled the meeting.And my teachers would tell me longago, the spirit picks the mediumthey want to work with.The spirit picks the medium theyfeel comfortable with, and that'swho they're choosing.And then they orchestrate thedynamics that will lead up, likeyou with your niece that said,Oh, you should meet her.Those synchronicities,that kind of all line up.So I'll say to them, They're herebefore you're here.If you come and I don't get who youwant, something's not right.Which never happens.They're here before you're here.And they usually answer thequestions that are on their lovedones' minds before they get there.So I will start with what thespirit wants to say first.Like I'll say, Don't ask anything.I'm not going to askyou anything about it.I'm going to tellyou who I hear first.I'm going to tell you what theylook like, whatthey're here to describe.And I want to saywhat they want to say,because you got what you want tohear, but they gotwhat they want to say.And usuallythey're the same things.For those of your clients who don'thave questions for the departedloved ones, but instead wantyou to convey a message theyneglected to tell them when theywere on the earth planeand regretted not doing so, whatrole is that most?But most people regret they didn'ttell their loved oneswhen they were alive.So usually what happens is thespirit comes in and will saysomething about that weightthat is on that person.Like I know you didn't get therebut it was okay because I didn'twant anybody there.I died when you went out to peebecause I didn't want you sittingin the room whenI was dying and then they're like,Oh my God, I've been feeling soregretful of this orremorseful.They answer it beforethey even ask the question.The second part to that is thatunfortunately there isnot grief without guilt.I don't know why this is but it'sjust part of guilt.It's part of a phase of guilt.We feel guilty,I should have done this.I shouldn't have done that.We should have done more.As if we're going to outbeat death in some way.If only we went earlier, if only Ihad known, if onlyI had gotten there.It's just personal torment.It's part of the pain of grievingthat we feel guilty.And what I find after a reading isthat's usuallycompletely dissolved.It doesn't come because the personasks, it comes because the spiritcomes and says somethingthat just takes it away.It's like this unnecessary piecebut we all do it.It's just part of grief.Not part of mourningbut it's part of grieving.It's self-torture andit's usually 99% unjust.Meaning like you're upset withyourself because your mother askedfor a vanilla milkshakeand you gave her a chocolate one.But they will do something thatwill completely dissolve it.They are always in control of whatneeds to be done.The medium is the in-between.I always say, if I say somethingwrong, they willcorrect me immediately.Like, I didn't say that.What are you kidding?Go back and say it again.Like if I interfere with my ownthought process and 99% of the timeI'm saying something,I have no idea what it means.Now in my little human head,I might try andinterpret what that means.Oh, that must mean this, but 99% ofthe time that's wrong too.But the person willcompletely understand that.People we want to come in, we wantto hear the words that they aresaying, but it isnot the words they're saying.It is the grace that's coming inthat room that is just lifealtering for the sitter,for me and for the spirit.And I do find this, this is in myown personal experience.I don't know what the othermediums, that the ones diesuddenly, come back quick.They want to help.They want to get in front of thatperson's grief because they knowthey're going to spiral.They know that they're going into adark hole withsomething and they are going totry and get in front and reach outas quickly as possible.So I had a reading, it was a longtime client and Ihadn't heard from her.I don't even remember.I think the last time I had readfor her was like in 2017, '18.She had reached out fairlyrecently, maybe thisyear or end of last year.I don't remember any of this stuff.It doesn't stay in my thoughtsbecause it's not my memories.It kind of comes inand then goes back out.So I didn't even truly remember heras a client untilI heard her voice.And then I was like,oh, I remember this lady.I said to her, I have a young manhere and he'stalking that he's your son.Now in my head, I'm like, I don'tknow if she has a son.I don't remember her having a son.I don't remember reading for this.And I said, and he's bringing me tothe last moments of hislife to her very sudden andyou're on his mind.All he's thinking about is you.That's all he's thinking about.Well, it turned out her son waskilled in a car accident.He was driving with his family.The other members were injured, hisyoung children, but they werehaving talked in a month.They had a fight the last time theytalked and they hadn't talked.So as he's careening off the road,going probably in his head, holycrap, this is not, he'sthinking of his mom and not talkingto her for a month.And then he died and he died inthat accident instantly.But I kept saying to her, andI would not normally say something.I was like, hedidn't leave right away.And this is all during the reading.So I don't know any of this yet.This is, I don't find any of thisout till afterwards.And I said, hedidn't leave right away.He stayed for like 2 weeks.I don't know if thatwas to comfort you.He wasn't a ghost, buthe was more earthbound.He didn't ascend right away.He had to finish something here.And she said to me, his wife was ina coma for 2 weeks andthey had little childrenand he, and she said,and I kept saying to him.You can't leave.What if she doesn't come back?Then these kids are orphaned.She did.He of course ascended, but thenthat made sense to me of what hewas talking about.I didn't know whathe meant by that.What was so unfinished that he hadto stay, but it brought her suchcomfort because shehad such guilt that we had had thisstupid trivial fight.He dies.And I was like, well, no, he wasthinking about you too.And why you made the appointment2 months after wasbecause he had his knee in yourback like, Ma, I want you to know.You were my last thoughts.It was a very, very powerful andpoignant reading stuff.I could never knowand go or figure out.And I love her Janet.I do love you.The Janet Nohovakthat ran the Pumpkin Lake.She was a very evidentialmediumship as a medium.You're trained.Get the evidence cause of death,time of death, age of death names,birth dates, give thisevidence.And I'd go, if I come back fromheaven, am I going tolike just rattle off?I got brown hair, green eyes.I died at 80.I got a lung.I don't want, I want to talk.I want to have a conversation.I want to tell you about that.I saw you planted new flowers outthere where you had the bird thatwouldn't get out ofthe yard or that I know you justwent through a hard time, but I washolding your hand thewhole time and your shoulder isgoing to be fine.Like I want to have aconversation about now.I don't want to just tell you thesethings, but mediums are verytrained to give evidence.And to me, the strongest evidenceis the emotional impact, theirdeath, their personalities,the life that you're stillcontinuing living with them, eventhat you don't know that you'recontinuing living with.In what ways Ro, do those inspirit make themselves known toloved ones here on Earth,and what signs should a regular layperson, one who does thatpossess your gifts, look foror be aware of to confirm theirdeparted loved one is indeed withthem, if not in the physicalrealm, in the spiritual realm?There's a lot of signs. So I oftensay to people, I don't know whatthis person needed me for,they're talking to you all the timebecause I'll say, oh, they'resending you this or they'redoing that. And they go, yeah, Iknow I see that. Oh, I get that oldand I'm like, what the hellyou need me for? But a lot of timesit was this validation and that isa good role I play. Like,I'm just validating. So some of theways are very profound. Like I haveone long-term client,her husband died and he literallytalks to her through songs. So shedoesn't need me to say,Ron's in the room with you. She canfeel when he's there.She can feel when he's not.She can call him like I'm what Icall her own speed dial. Like Ron,I need you. And she knowsthat he's there. It's beyondbelief. She senses it. There's asense, there's a shift in things.She'll say to him, what am Isupposed to do with this? Should Isign this contract or not? Andshe'll go, she'll put on the radioand then she'll get the song thathas the lyrics that are literalwords to her answer that she needs.Now she's really adept at playingthat game with him.I know he's going to talk to methrough a song. I'mgoing to go to the Shoprightright now and walk around andlisten to the, what's on the thing,because he's going toanswer me in there. Or I'm going toget in the car, put on the radioand I'm going to hear it.She has her own real strongcommunication with him. But otherpeople will get that and not reallybe aware of it. I was worried aboutsomething and then I heard thissong and it just spoke to meand I'm like, well, who was that?Was that your mother? Was that yourfather? They send thosetangibles I call the butterflies,the dragonflies, the doves, thebluebirds, theblue jays. So they'lloften say this in a reading withme. I'm the one that's sendingthis. I'm the one that's sendingthat. Sometimes we'll think thatyou'll go dad died and I start tosee butterflies and I'll say,well confirm it. Say, dad, is thatyou that's sending the butterflies?They hear you when youthink of what you're saying or whenyou speak it out loud. It's liketelepathy or like I go like atext. It's like they get a textthat they're reading going. She'sasking if I'm the butterfly.But if you do that, then they'llconfirm it. They'll send like 10more butterflies.Did you get it yet?Then it's me. If you don't get thatconfirmation, go to the next one.Grandma, is it you? Ann,is this you? Going back to thefirst story of the first deceasedgirl, Diane, my friend Diane,dies at 36 of ovarian cancer. Had a10 year battle. She had made thisshorthand with her sister. Theyknew she was dying. Her sister thatI gave the message to said to her,as she's dying in hospice,uncommunicative, die when you getto heaven, send me a cardinal andlet me know you got there.So in this message I write, it'sall this stuff about cardinals,which made no sense to me. Well,when Patty's reading this, she'scrying, Oh my God, we did thisshorthand right before she died.I said, there's some me a cardinalthe next thing you know, we're allgetting cardinal sightings.Well, I get hysterical after and Igo, I was getting a cardinal sign.I kept saying to Johnfor days before this happened. Whyis that bird looking at me? Therewas a cardinal in my yard.I kept going, why is that birdlooking at me? It keeps followingme around. I was getting thecardinal before I even knew it wasa sign. Smells, smells you equatewith them, perfume,cigarettes, after shave, dieselfuel, things like that, numbers,overlays. You'll be walking andyou'll go, my God, that personlooks just like my aunt Jo. Andyou want to run up to them.And then you get close and itdoesn't look like them. Their namepopping up like crazy, right?You're in the store and you hearsomebody yelling Nick, Nick, Nick.And you go, my God,I just was thinking about him. Andnow I'm hearing his name 20 times.Some mothers calling their kid.So these are their acknowledgments.Yes, I hear you. I am withyou. You just call on me.I love to set it up before theydie. So right before my dad dies,I'm with him and he's inhospice and he's like, it's what wewere winding down. And he wakes upand it's just me and him inthe room, which was odd becausethey were, we're like a clan andeverybody's there all the time.And he looks at me and he says tome, am I dead yet? And then I saidto him, no, you wouldn't seeme if you're dead. You'll see allthose that you love when you die.You'll see me, but I'll bedifferent. So he says to me, I loveyou. Get all right withthis. And I said, all right,I'll be all right. Don't worryabout me. And he says to me, yougot anything you want to ask me?And I said, well, when you get toheaven, dad, send me some roses. SoI know you're all right.And he says, okay, what kind? And Igo any kind. I don't care. Sonobody knows we have thisconversation. My dad dies6 o'clock in the morning. The nextday, my best friends comeand they bring me a dozen roses, acard that had all roses all over itand a mug with roses on it.I mean, my name is Rose, but I waslike, how could you know? And I waslike, dad, good. So I lovethat setting it up beforehand. Ifyou're in the very sacred andmystical space of being withsomeone before they die, you givethem permission. If you can, youtell them you're going to be fine.You help them if they're afraid andyou say to them, what are you goingto sign? What is goingto be our shorthand? And believeme, it's going to come immediatelyafter. But if you're not sure,if you didn't get that opportunity,then ask them now what's your signor give them something likeI always go tell them somethinglike, all right, dad, she says youcould send me a sign to let meknow you're okay, that we're stillconnected. Send me a quarter onTuesday at 12 o'clock. Let's makeit not easy. Okay. I want somethingvery tangible and they will dothat. And that will refute your,the illusion that we have here thatwe're somehow separated, thatthey're somehow gone, that we'renot connected anymore, that ourlives are not continuing on, if notin a different form.As you have said in yourliterature, and rightly so, we allneed support ingrowing our spiritualunderstanding, knowledge, ourpurpose and consciousness.You have addressed that with youronline spiritual community.Can you, Ro, tell me about that?I'm one of those people that liketo gather others like let's do thistogether, let's grow together.I'm often the teacher, I love to bethe student, I'm usually in bothroles but I'm a facilitator.I call it an instigator, I'mdefinitely an instigator.So I start this online community andit's going to be like we're goingto learn about different spiritualthings and what it means tobe spiritually grounded, spiritualbeing very different thanreligious, spiritual being verydifferent than psychic, spiritualbeing very different thanintuitive. Your spirituality isthe core essence of yourconsciousness, how you see theworld. Do you see itin a light way or adarker way? So I always say to mystudents we have 3 minds. Wehave our human mind that'svery limited in its bandwidth, wehave our higher mind that seesthings from a muchbigger perspective,then we have that lower grouchykind of I didn't eat my snickerskind of mind. So we did a lot oftalks on those, we did a lot oftalks on psychic development andthese are pieces of us that we allhave. I said this one time in alibrary in Coronado, California, weall have psychic ability, don'tthink you don't, everybody does anda man got up and walked out. I waslike oh I guess they didn'tlike that discussion. We all haveintuition. So we define a lot ofthings, we talk, we do a lot ofpractices, we do a lot ofmeditation, we do a lot of groupwork. I have guestspeakers that come inthat talk on expertise that isbeyond my stuff and then I'musually like theone that kind of putsit into context. We work ondeveloping ourselves to live in ourhighest mind state, not just comefrom it or believe. So I would saythere's stuff we believe, there'sstuff we know and then there'sstuff we live and it's really aboutliving from that space, not justhaving it be a belief system.I have about 60 members to thatgroup. We meet once a month onZoom, some come live, some justhear the recording. We've builtquite a synergy. We've grown. Fromthat I started to do spiritualmentoring. So I work with about 15individuals privately once a month,usually like 30 minutesor 45 minutes and I will tell youthat what I have seen develop intheir lives. So we look at it then.So being spiritual, what does thatmean? It means you live a morepeaceful life. It means you don'tattract drama, chaos and struggle.It means your finances improve. Itmeans your work life balanceimproves. It means the work you do,you find more meaning and purposein. It means your relationshipsgrow and evolve and improve. Itmeans your health gets better. Itmeans when you have a healthissue, you understand exactly themessage it's given you instead ofgoing to a, why me, victimkind of mode or consciousness orsense of powerlessness. Developingyour spiritual understandingof self is like doing psychology,which is great. I'm a big proponentof psychotherapy, but morebecause what psycho-spiritual workwill do or spiritual understandingwill do is give you allthe pieces of it. Psychology isn'tgoing to talk about your psychicstuff or your past lives oryour ancestral burdens that you'recarrying. Maybe now or it's notgoing to process trauma the sameway and we're all going to havetrauma. Spiritual understanding isgoing to help you to put all ofthose pieces together of why thislife was the way it was or whatthis trauma did or howI developed or got stuck there, howI can retrieve myself back, what Igot from my ancestral lines,what I'm carrying forward. Contraryto everybody's belief that thinksthat their job is a purpose,like people go, I don't have anypurpose. I don't have any purpose.I haven't found my right work.I'm like, your job is something youdo because you've got a skill setfor it, because you've gotan archetypal pattern that governsthat you could do that. That's yourservice to this world andhopefully you're going to developan expertise. That ain't yourpurpose. Your work is not yourpurpose. Your purpose here is to bea good person and to developyourself in the best way possible.And your most meaningful things arewere you a good partner? Were you agood parent? Were youto the best of your ability? Wereyou a good friend? Were you a goodcitizen? If you want togive yourself a purpose, then everyday. My purpose is to get up out ofbed and just be nice. How aboutthat? Give yourself a purpose. Butyour purpose is found in everymoment of every day and it's not aone thing and it's certainly not ajob. Nobody from the spirit worldhas ever come back and talked tome about their job. Very few havecome and talked to me as anidentity withtheir job. Like I was apolice officer at one time and thisis only because it helps the personidentify them and it's as anidentity. It is not, this is whoI was and the power of what I was.
