Paranormal Yakker
Supernatural Sarasota
Haunted Sarasota Trolley & Psychic Sunday Tours explores the supernatural and metaphysical sides of this vibrant Florida city; once the former winter home of Ringling Brother Circus. In her interview with Stan Mallow on Paranormal Yakker, Tammy Hauser takes us on a haunting journey through the city’s ghostly narratives; from the spirit of a hooker who still haunts the brothel in which she took her life to the infamous Mummy Murder case, which is still unsolved to this day. She also talks about the large metaphysical community that resides in Sarasota and all the spiritual experiences tourists can avail themselves of; such as having a magical sound bath at the historic Crocker Memorial Church.
<b><font color='#0433ff'>Hi everyone, I'm Stan Mallow.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Welcome to Paranormal Yakker.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>My guest in today's show is</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Tammy Hauser, founder and CEO of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Discover Sarasota Tours. We are known as</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the Florida's cultural coast,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>but what surprised me was there</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>were no trolley tours. In this</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>sightseeing town with so much</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>history, as you've mentioned with</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the circus, we have a large Amish</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>community. So many unique and</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>interesting people have lived here,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>and there were no tours. That</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>really was the impetus to create</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>trolley tours that could tell</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the story, the history, the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>interesting aspects of Sarasota for</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>visitors, and also for residents</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>who live here full-time.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Your Haunted Sarasota Trolley Tour is a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>historical ghost tour of the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>area. While it's not a conventional</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>ghost hunting tour per se, you do</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>indeed talk about ghosts on</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>it. Can you, Tammy, tell me about</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>some of those ghosts?</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>All towns have ghosts, of course, because</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>ghosts are, as I believe, spirits.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We all are energy, and I believe</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>very much that we are spirits</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>having a human experience. So it</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>makes sense that when we pass, that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>energy remains. And so what I</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>have found is ghosts like to do</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>what they did in life after they've</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>passed. They'll often hang</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>around the home that they lived in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>or the bar that they frequented.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>And those stories are how we</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>weave in the history of Sarasota.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>And as an arts community, we have a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>lot of theaters. Ghosts love</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>theaters. There's a lot of passion</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>and energy that happens backstage,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>front stage, and oftentimes</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>performers, when they pass, they</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>think that they still work there</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>and they still show up in the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>costume shop or in the audience or</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>sometimes even on stage. And we</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>have quite a few of those stories</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>we tell. We also have a lot of bars</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>and restaurants, and we have a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>ghost called the ghost is the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>gooser. And apparently he was kind</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>of a pervert in the days that he</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>did go to that bar. He liked to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>pinch women as they went up the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>staircase. And women who go up</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>those staircases now still report</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>being pinched or touched. And</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>they're very surprised by that. We</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>have some ghosts that are</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>kind of naughty, some ghosts that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>are harmless, some ghosts that are</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>loving. We have a ghost</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>called warm fuzzy. And he frequents</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the Florida studio theater. And the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>actors report that when</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>they feel his presence, he's giving</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>them kind of a warm fuzzy hug</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>before they go on stage. We have</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the full gamut. We tell stories of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>about 40 different ghosts that we</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>know about that have</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>been verified. And mostly they're</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>in the downtown Sarasota area.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Sarasota has its share of famous</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>murders and they are covered on the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>tour. Could you, Tammy, share a few</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>of them?</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We start our tour</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>with a visit to the Rosemary</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Cemetery, which is the second</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>oldest cemetery in Sarasota.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>And in that cemetery are many of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the founders of Sarasota's very</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>old, over 100 years old, 150,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>some of the plots. Well, there's a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>family called the Green family and</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>it's a tragic sad story.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>But they came down from the north,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>as many people do. And something</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>happened to the dad. We don't</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>know if he had a mental lapse,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>something happened. But in the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>middle of the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>night, he ended up taking</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>an axe and chopping off the heads</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>of his wife and the 2 small</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>children. And he ended up being</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>killed by the sheriffs who did</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>finally find him. That whole family</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>is buried, the Green family,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>in the Rosemary Cemetery. Another</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>murder that is unsolved, we call</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the mummy murder.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Frankly, it's my favorite. It's a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>very interesting story. There was a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>family here in the 1950s when</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Sarasota was the celery capital of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the world. You ask what possibly</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>grows in briny sand?</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Celery. And we were, that was our</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>big export for a number of years.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Well, there were a lot of wealthy</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>businessmen who got wealthy in that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>industry. And the parents of the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>young woman, that was his job.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>This young woman met this young man</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>in high school. They were kind of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the football king and the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>cheerleader romance. And they ended</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>up getting married. And for all</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>intents and purposes,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>were quite happy until the young</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>man went off to college and</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>apparently was seeing other women</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>drinking, gambling, you know,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>really went off on a bad path. The</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>young woman wanted to divorce him.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>He said, no, I want to try to make</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>this work. Came back to Sarasota,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>where she had been living with</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>her parents, waiting for him to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>straighten out. And the first night</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>that he came home, he was</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>staying at his stepmother's home,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>downtown Sarasota. And there was a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>fire that happened that night.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Now he was a light sleeper, thank</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>goodness, because the smoke woke</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>him up. He reported it. They all</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>thought, oh, well, this is weird,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>but they didn't really think it was</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>anything but, you know, an</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>accident that could happen. They</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>should have thought more clearly</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>because the following night,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>he was murdered in that same home.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>He was tortured, garroted. And the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>ways the murder is called the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>mummy murder is adhesive tape that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>you can get in those little medical</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>kits, that little tape.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>This murderer had cut teeny little</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>pieces of that bizarre white</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>adhesive tape and taped it all over</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>his face, leaving only a couple of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>little holes for his nose so he</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>could breathe. It was a very long,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>torturous process. And then they</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>taped it all completely shut. So</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>when the police found him,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the next day, he looked like a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>mummy. And they've never been able</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>to figure out who was the murderer,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>although there was a copycat murder</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>in St. Pete, Florida. A few years</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>after that. People thought,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>could it be his gambling debts?</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>There was torture involved. Could</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>it have been another woman?</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Apparently, the people that lived</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>here during that time period who've</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>come on my tour have told me</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>secretly after that everybody in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the high school and community</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>thought it was her dad. He didn't</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>want them back together. He got rid</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>of her husband. So who knows? But</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>that remains an unsolved murder</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>here in Sarasota.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Haunted spirited</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>buildings are visited on the tour.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Which buildings are they and</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>why are they considered to be</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>haunted or spirited?</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Probably the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>oldest that has a Ringling tie-in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>goes back to a hotel on the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Ringling College campus. That's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>where the train tracks used to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>go through. And it had been a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>popular hotel. And then with</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>development changing,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>it lost its stature.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>It became a brothel. There was a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>young prostitute named Mary who was</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>not, as we say on the tour,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>not a happy hooker. She was very</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>unhappy. Ended up taking her own</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>life by hanging herself</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>in the stairwell. Well, the brothel</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>at that time, I don't know if</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>that's how things were done then</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>at the turn of the century, but</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>they ended up boarding her up. They</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>didn't remove her. They</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>didn't bury her. They didn't want</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>anyone to know about it. So they</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>bricked over that stairwell area.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Of course, her spirit was locked in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>that sadness in that space after</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>death. She is said to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>haunt that floor. It is now used as</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>dormitories for students. So</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>students are reporting</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>hearing her, seeing shadows moving,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>sort of like a hanging</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>corpse would be moving.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>She's even apparently, she's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>levitated objects. So Ringling</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>College is an art</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>school. A lot of the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>students report their paint</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>brushes, their pens start to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>levitate in the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>space where she was.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>And it isn't just one person saying</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>this. People have been saying this</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>since the 1960s. They even</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>have a celebration for her on the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Ringling campus to try to appease</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>her spirit. She doesn't cause</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>harm, but she does shock people</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>quite a bit because things are</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>flying around all the time.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>That's our oldest ghost story.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Another one is a building that has</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>been many different things.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>It is an art gallery now. It used</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>to be a very popular dinner</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>theater. And a lot of the ghosts,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>as I said, love theaters. There are</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>quite a few spirits from that time</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>period. Before that,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>it was a car dealership and they</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>had a dog. And this dog would be</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>left out at night to guard the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>cars. This is sort of back in the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>30s, 40s. And that dog is a spirit.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>People still hear him barking</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>in night sometimes when there's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>nobody there. It's an art gallery.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Nobody's breaking in,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>but they will distinctly hear this</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>dog barking, doing what</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>he did in life, I think.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Your Psychic Sundays tour talks</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>about the metaphysical world of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Sarasota. What, Tammy,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>is that metaphysical world like?</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>And what can those taking the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Psychic Sundays</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>tour expect to visit</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>and experience on it?</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>In addition</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>to being the arts capital of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Florida, Sarasota is also known</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>for its healing qualities, which</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>come from the fact that most of our</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>sand at our Siesta Key beach,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>or Lido Key beach, famous beaches,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>internationally recognized beaches,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>it's primarily quartz sand.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>And quartz as a conductor of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>electricity, energy, draws people</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>who feel energy, as I do, and many</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>others do here, artists, healers.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We have a metaphysical chamber of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>commerce in Sarasota</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>with 625 members. Go figure.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Everything from, again, the healing</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>arts, Reiki, acupuncture,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>massage, yoga, to the metaphysical</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>side, which is hypnotists,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>psychics, mediums, tarot readers,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>astrologists, palm readers, a whole</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>huge community. Because I</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>personally am also</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>an astrologer, I'm</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>very much a believer in energy</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>flow. I wanted to try to share that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>side of our community,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>and that's how we created this</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>tour. Originally, my tour guide,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Michael, was a medium. He has since</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>passed. Wonderful medium. And we</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>created a tour that would expose</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>people to a variety of modalities.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So people begin with an exercise of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>just simply rubbing your hands</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>together and generating that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>heat, and then pulling your hands</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>apart and going to a partner, sort</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>of mirroring, and you can feel</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>their presence. You're not</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>touching, you're feeling this</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>energy exchange, just</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>to get people to start</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>thinking about things you can't</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>see, but you know are there and you</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>can sense. Then we go to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>a metaphysical shop called Pixie Dust</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>on Main Street. They have an</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>amazing array of items and all</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>religions, all practices, all areas</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>of spirituality. We stop there for</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>about 15 minutes, then we get</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>back on the trolley, and we head to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the center of the tour, which</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>people love the most. We do a sound</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>bath. Fabulous. I have a wonderful</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>sound healer named Kayleen McCaw.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>She brings gongs, bells, chimes,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>bowls into a church. We have a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>historic little church called the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Crocker Memorial Church.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Teeny seats about 100 people. We</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>set people up on pews. She creates</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>a 15-minute sound</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>bath experience. Most people have</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>not done that. They don't know what</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>I'm talking about when we say</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>sound bath, but the minute they sit</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>and allow all the sound waves to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>flow over them, I have to wake</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>people up after 15 minutes. Some of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>them are snoozing and falling</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>asleep because it is just so</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>incredibly relaxing. Then we get</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>back in the trolley. We head over</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>to one of the seven labyrinths that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>are located in Sarasota. They're</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>all at churches. People again don't</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>really understand the connection</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>paganism and Christianity and the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>labyrinth connecting point in that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>history. We have people</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>get out and talk about the metaphor</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>of a labyrinth where you're going</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>into the center, you're bringing,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>and then you're walking out back</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>into the world. It is this inside,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>outside, so above, as below,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>this way of seeing movement and</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>metaphor for one's life and one's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>relationship to the greater world.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We walk there. Then we get back in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the trolley and this is where the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>magic happens. My new tour guide</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Denny, who's been leading this tour</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>for about a year, is a master tarot</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>reader and also a psychic.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We do a little mini spirit gallery</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>reading. She will pull in spirit to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>whatever is coming through</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>to her. She'll have time for maybe</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>2 to 3 and always she is just</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>really gifted. Someone will be</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>able to take what she's saying.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>She's evidentiary, which means of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>course that she has to give very</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>specific information. She can't</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>just say an old lady, oh it's your</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>grandmother. No, she loved to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>wear red. She loved to bake cherry</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>pie. She played the piano. Very</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>specific information and someone</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>will always say, oh my gosh, that's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>my mom or oh my goodness, that was</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>my child who passed early on</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>and I think about him every single</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>day. That is a emotional</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>centerpiece. It is</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>about Denny giving,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>using her gift to heal others, to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>bring some peace and comfort to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>others. It's a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>wonderful experience.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>On the way home, she does a mini</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>tarot reading with little tarot</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>cards so everybody gets</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>just a sample one minute quick</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>reading to get a sense of what the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>tarot is. We talk about the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>history of it as a divination form.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We talk about what people who</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>practice the metaphysical arts,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>what we're trying to do and I find</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>it's an eye-opener. It's also a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>connector for people. We have a lot</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>of new people moving to town. They</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>don't know where to go and how to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>find a community that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>supports them. It's all of those</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>things and we, oh I didn't say</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>this, we start off with mimosas.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>That's always a big hit. We have</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>orange and pineapple mimosas to set</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the mood so it's just</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>a lovely way to spend a Sunday</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>afternoon.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Should viewers of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Paranormal Yakker want to have</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>information about your</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Haunted Sarasota Trolley Tour,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'> the Psychic Sundays Tour,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>and learn about</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>any of the other specialized tours,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Discover Sarasota Tours offers.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>How, Tammy, can they do that?</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We have a fabulous website and we</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>have all 17 of our tours on that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>website and I've taken great</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>pains to try to really capture the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>essence, what you're going to see,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>where you're going to go.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Our tours are all 90 minutes, very</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>easy to book online, which I highly</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>suggest if you come to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>visit.
