Paranormal Yakker
Haunted Nashville
The spirits of country & western legends Hank Williams and Patsy Cline never left their beloved Nashville. Find out where they hang out, the ghosts who haunt the Tennessee State Capitol, the Hermitage Hotel, Printer’s Alley, Music Row, Prohibition era speakeasies, and The Ryman Auditorium; former home The Grand Ole Opry. Tennessee based paranormal investigator and ghost tour operator Mark tells all in his interview with Stan Mallow on Paranormal Yakker.
<b><font color='#0433ff'>Hi everyone, I'm Stan Mallow, welcome to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Paranormal Yakker</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>When one thinks about Nashville, but</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>clearly comes to mind</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>besides it being the capital of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Tennessee, is that it is the epicenter,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the heart & soul of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>country & western music</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& rightly deserves the title of being</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>called Music City.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>However, there is another side of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Nashville, an eerie</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>ghostly supernatural one.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>My guest today, Mark, a paranormal</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>investigator &</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>historian, will tell us about it.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>He's definitely qualified to do so, what with</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>him being the owner of Go Nashville Tours</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& a tour guide as well.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Mark, welcome to Paranormal Yakker.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Alright, Stan, thanks for</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>having me, I appreciate it.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Your Nashville Ghost Hunt, Music City's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Paranormal Investigation Tour, explores</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the city's most haunted locations</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& those on it can, with the help of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>your expert guides & top match</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>equipment, immerse</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>themselves in a real ghost hunt.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Which haunted sites, Mark, are visited on</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>this tour & what</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>equipment is utilized?</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We spend a lot of time at the state</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>capitol. Interesting story, it's probably</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the most haunted location in Nashville.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>A lot of it has to do with the history of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>that capitol. It sits atop a hill &</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>I always describe it like</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>a pimple on your face.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Like your face is round & then all of a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>sudden there's just pop up & it doesn't</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>look like it belongs there.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>The reason why the state capitol was put</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>on that hill was because it was so tall</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>to the city, they wanted this building to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>be able to be the only</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>thing you see for miles around.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Some said 10 mile radius that you could</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>see the state capitol when it was finally</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>built. Andrew Jackson had a lot to do</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>with that, even though he wasn't alive</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>when it was completed.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>He said & he made a point to say, we're</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>putting the capitol on this hill & this</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>will be a strategic place.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Now they didn't realize we were going to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>build a huge building with a Batman</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>little sculptor on top that we have that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>we're known for here because now you</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>can't see it from very many places.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>But at the time it was one of the most</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>significant & if not the tallest state</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Capitols in the entire country.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So we built it & then we built it on</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>this mound. So what is this mound? Well,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>we come to find out that ancient Native</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>American civilization's known as the Mound</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Builders or the Mississippians inhabited</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>this land & I'm talking about a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>thousand to 2 thousand years ago.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& they inhabited this land. There was</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>probably I've heard numbers that it was a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'> bigger civilization than Paris or</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Rome at the time. So you can imagine so</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>maybe 300,000 natives here.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Then they vanished. They disappeared.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Where did they go? Some say</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>a plague wiped them all out.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Others say it was some suicidal mass</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>suicide type ritual to bury each other</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>together. Well, we found many of their</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>mounds in Nashville & one in particular</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>is at the state capitol.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So that's why they built the mounds. In</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>fact, they believed kind of like ancient</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Egyptians. They believed that if you live</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>with your dead or you bury yourself with</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>belongings, your family, that they will</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>be with you in the afterlife.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& that is exactly what they did as</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Mound Builders. & these mounds that are</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>all over Tennessee, but mainly in the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>middle of Tennessee at the state capitol,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>it is an ancient mound. Now, will anyone</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>in the state capitol</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>admit today? No, they won't.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>But when they found that out back in the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>1840s, you got to remember Andrew</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Jackson's most triumphant, ironically,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>administrative duty</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>was the Trail of Tears.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So, mass genocide & moving the natives</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>out of this part of the country into land</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>in Oklahoma was one of his greatest</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>achievements, for lack of a better term.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& so they didn't care when they were</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>building this at the time.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>They were also using slaves to build the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>state capitol as well as prisoners. Moral</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>decency at the time was a little skewed,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>but that's a tarnished part of Tennessee</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>history & American</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>history. They didn't care.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& we know for a fact that there are</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>bodies under there that they were found.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We've had archaeologists tell us that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>books have been written. In fact, there</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>is a book I found that was kind of like a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>handbook to guide to the centennial party</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>of Nashville, which was at the 1896.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>It was literally written in 1896 as a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>guidebook for you visiting Nashville &</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>all the things you could do in the first</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>page on that is about how it's built on a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Native American burial ground.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Visit the capitol & it's built there.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So it was in record in history books,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>even though no historian in Nashville</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>will tell you about it. So that is the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>most haunted location in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Nashville, if not Tennessee.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>The capitol is built at a limestone. The</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>water surrounds it from the north to the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>east. & then the craziest part of all,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>it's not just a state</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>capitol. It's a mausoleum.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>The architect William Strickland is</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>buried beneath the walls in the state</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>capitol, as well as his rival in life,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the man who was in charge</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>of the money, Samuel Morgan.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& then we are the only capitol in the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>entire United States that has a former</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>president buried on the grounds with his</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>beloved wife, Sarah.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So that's James K Polk.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So you're basically in a big cemetery &</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>a part of government history.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>On those tours there, you mentioned about</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>bringing along equipment to people that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>would have access to equipment. What type</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>of equipment do you bring?</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Yeah, so we love an Ovulus. What tells</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>us words will come in through. Well, it's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>like a radio transmitter where words are</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>actually saying so we ask</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>questions & the words come up.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Rempods, we plant them all over the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>capitol so they'll leap if any energy</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>comes in its vicinity. That really tends</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>to freak people out tremendously.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We're also using spirit boxes & we've</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>gotten a lot of information. We've got a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>lot of communication. Things that we</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>always talked about were haunting there,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>but things we didn't know.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We've made contact with a little girl</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>whose name is Emma & we didn't know</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>anything about children haunting the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>location. & then we come to find out</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>that there was a curse.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We believe it's a curse that in the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>1870s, when they finally opened the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>capitol up for business after the Civil</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>War, they were having parties. They were</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>bringing children to these parties &</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the children would get up on the cupola's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>area & they'd actually fall.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Because there was no electricity. It was</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>all dark & they would never see it &</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>they'd fall off the ledge. To my</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>knowledge, I've seen newspaper articles</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>dating back to that time of 5 children</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>who have fallen from there.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Recently, we've seen pictures of children</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>now surrounding the grounds of the state</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>capitol. So we're kind of putting the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>puzzle pieces all together. So the spirit</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>box has been phenomenal</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>in helping us do that.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>It's great. Could you share some of the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>paranormal experiences told to you by</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>those who took part in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>your National Ghost Hunt tour?</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>You'll be surprised. I wouldn't be</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>surprised, but to learn that people do</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>have spirits with them, always with them.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So the guests are usually surprised when</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>somebody communicates to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>them that was passed away.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We've had very emotional experiences</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>where the spirit box has come through &</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>we've asked questions. We've made</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>communication through many devices &</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>they've had questions for their loved</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>ones that have deceased.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>They use what we have dowsing rods for</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>them to use. Sometimes we'll say, Touch</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>a shoulder with a dowsing rod. So</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>they'll move & they're holding them.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>These people have never had any</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>experience using these things.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>They have no reason to move the rods on</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>their own. Nothing. I've watched with my</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>own eyes these dowsing rods just come &</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>touch their shoulder. We like to say</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>that's like they're</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>hugging you. They're here.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We've had paranormal experience on ghost</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>hunts where just spirits that are</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>attached to humans, but for most part</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>they've all been good. So we haven't seen</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>any bad spirits so far.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>A lot of the paranormal experiences that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>we've had when we discovered Emma, she</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>always talked about a grandma that is</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>watching over us on the grounds. Well, we</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>believe that to be Sarah Polk, who we</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>have photo evidence of her on the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>grounds, walking the grounds.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We have communicated with her in the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>spirit box that her story is extremely</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>unique in that James K Polk, a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>president, he was our 11th president, but</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>not many people know too much about him.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>That's because he died literally</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>3 months after his president's reign ended</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& he was only a president for</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>4 years. Now in that 4 years, he was</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>part of the annexation of Texas,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>California, Oregon, & Washington, as</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>well as all the Southwest.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So he was a very important president in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>our history, but then he passed away. He</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>died on the train ride back from DC of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>cholera. So Sarah, who at the time, she</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>didn't spend any time in DC.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>It was a little too far for her & she</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>wanted, she was making the house ready</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>for her. They didn't have children. So</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>she was ready to spend the rest of her</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>life with her husband & have children.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& she did none of this when he died. So</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>she lived her entire life in mourning. So</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>she lived her entire life in mourning</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>where she wore black, literally for the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>next 40 years of her</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>life every single day.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& she was very, very upset & kind of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>a recluse. Everybody called</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>her a recluse in writings.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So she was buried with her husband on the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>grounds of their house, which was across</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the street from the state Capitol called</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Polk Way. But because they had no</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>children, they tore the house down.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Nashville took over the property.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Now, there was really an article that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>said they almost threw the bodies into</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the river & gave them a send off.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Somebody said, no, you</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>can't do that to the president.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So they moved their tomb over to the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>state Capitol, which is how they tend to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>be at the Capitol. We think that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>disturbance during her deceased body</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>being moved from the place she finally</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>wanted to be with her husband over to the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>state Capitol, a land known for being</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>extremely haunted already,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>filled with paranormal energy. She comes</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>out of her grave & she might be now</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>watching over the children that perished</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>from the grounds of the Capitol.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& we've got communication through the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>spirit boxes & dowsing rods & that do</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>say that that could be a possibility.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>In Nashville's Dark Secrets, Murder &</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>True Crime Ghost Tour the city's most</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>notorious murder cases & true prime</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>mysteries are explored. Can you Mark tell</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>me about a few of them?</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So at the Hermitage Hotel, which is</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>probably 2 blocks away from the state</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Capitol built in 1910, they've always</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>talked about a paranormal experience that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>goes on, whether it be in the boiler room</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>on the elevator or on the ninth floor.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>A lady in blue has been spotted. So my</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>team, we have an excellent team. I have</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>one of my best paranormal investigators</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>is Angie & she does so much research.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>I mean, she will not tell you a story</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>unless she know it to be true.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& along with her, we kind of uncovered</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>this whole kind of I like to call it the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Dateline story of the 1930s. That's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>something you would see on Dateline</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>because there was this love triangle.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>But we had money & power of Nashville's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>elite. & we had this guy that just got</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>caught in the wrong place at the wrong</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>time in the middle of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>it. There was this woman.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& so what we come to find out is for</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>2 years, a woman by the name of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Jenny Schall-Bracker Frank lives on the ninth</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>floor in room 910. Now that's really the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>room that we get the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>most disturbance from.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& on August 25, 1930, she actually</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>commits suicide, at least that's what the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>newspaper says & her</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>death certificate says.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Upon further research, we find out that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>on August 25, 1930, another man dies of a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>cerebral hemorrhage. & the most</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>interesting part of the whole thing is</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>they both died within 45 minutes of each</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>other inside the Hermitage Hotel.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& the death certificate does not deny</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>those. Now, I think the only thing that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>we can say is a little weird of that,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>obviously, is that 2 people died within</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>45 minutes of each</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>other in the same place.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>I don't believe in coincidences. I never</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>have. You can't believe in coincidences,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>especially when it comes to murder, true</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>crime & paranormal. That is too much of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>a coincidence for me.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So there's no way they wouldn't have</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>known each other. They were both Jewish.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>The temple was literally a block away.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>There's no way in the world they wouldn't</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>have seen each other at temple.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& the most intriguing part is why was</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Jenny living there? She was married to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the third generation lumber baron of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Nashville named Lou Frank & the Franks.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& they were one of the most powerful</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>families in Nashville.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So why was Jenny there? Well, Lou was</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>shacking up with another woman & having</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>a child with that woman. So Lou put her</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>up in the fancy 5-star hotel, the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Hermitage Hotel, while he's living in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>their home with another</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>woman & their new baby.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So this is sounding like Dateline,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>I think. & somewhere along the line, a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>woman commits suicide & a guy dies of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>cerebral hemorrhage on the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>same place at the same time.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We obviously have no proof that a murder</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>could have occurred, but certainly money</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& power do cover up murders. & it</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>does appear that both were probably</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>murdered & then the death certificates</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>might have been doctored.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>It's interesting, when a woman commits</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>suicide, you don't usually write up that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>in the newspaper. But it was in the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>newspaper that she committed suicide. &</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>it said straight up, the reason why is</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>because she was devastated by being</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>estranged from her husband</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>who we come to find out that she had been</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>living away from him for 2 years.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>There's just too many pieces of the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>puzzle. But that kind of explains who</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>that is. That's haunting that location.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>There was a man & a woman seen dancing</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>in a ballroom. Well, there you go.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>There's romance. & then you have a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>woman, lady in blue. We know that her</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>favorite color was blue & she was</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>buried in blue. So there you go.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So we have all these little pieces all</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>added together. & I think Jenny just</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>wants to tell her story because she died</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>under horrible circumstances.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Murder on Music Row, Nashville's true</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>crime tour, explores the sinister side of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Nashville on a walking tour that delves</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>into the city's most infamous prime</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>stories & shocking events that shape</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Nashville's dark history are revealed.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Could you Mark reveal any</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>of that dark history?</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We started that tour for more modern true</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>crime stories because as you know, I</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>mean, true crime is just as popular as</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>ghost hunting right now. While we don't</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>do any paranormal on that tour, we do</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>talk about some illustrious murders that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>have happened recently.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>One of which we uncovered was a serial</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>killer. Again, it's weird. I don't know.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& I don't want to speculate. I know a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>lot of great. I think our police</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>department here in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Nashville is fantastic.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>But there are a lot of stories that get</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>kind of buried very quickly here in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Nashville upon reading all the research</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>that I have. So for instance, if I were</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>to tell you Nashville's had a serial</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>killer, you'd be like,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>well, I haven't heard that.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Because I just think Nashville does a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>really good job of keeping things under</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>wraps. But we did have a serial killer</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>because all you got to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>do is kill more than one.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& there's a man back in the early 90s</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>that killed at least 3 that we knew</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>of, including a man & woman who just</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>literally got married, drove their truck</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>to Nashville, which everybody was doing</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>from Texas to become</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the next Garth Brooks.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& '89 when he explodes, that's really</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>where Nashville had its second</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Renaissance of music. & here come these</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>2 young couple & they stay in the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>shady hotel on the south side of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Nashville, but they don't even go to the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>hotel, they immediately go to a famous</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>bar known for open mic sessions on a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Monday night, right on Broadway.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& of course, that's where our killer is</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>there to see & of course he's very,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>very attracted to her. & he plays the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>whole I'm a music producer. Is that your</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>man? He's got so much talent. I'd love to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>come down to your hotel, do all the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>things next thing you know, she's found</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>beaten & raped & murdered & he's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>found beaten murdered in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the bathtub the next day.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& the police have been after this man</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>though, for at least 2 years because he</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>set fire. He was a wealthy man. He had,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>he was a computer repairman. So in 1994,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>a computer repairman is</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>very few & far between.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So he had a lot of money, but he had a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>gambling problem & they had poker</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>machines in Nashville at bars & he owed</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>this bar owner over in Hermitage, like</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>$100,000. So he instead put 2 bullets</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>in his head & then</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>tried to burn down the bar.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>But of course he left the bar didn't burn</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>down enough & he left enough evidence</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>for them to be able to track the gun to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>him, but they couldn't get him in jail.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& that's when he went</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>on his killing rampage.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>They do finally get him & he ends up</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>killing himself in prison. So there was</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>no trial, but it was one of those</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>horrible tales of murder on music row</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>where these 2 musicians literally just</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>bright eyed & bushy tail come right,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>get out of car, try to become a star &</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>then boom, they're</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>murdered by a serial killer.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& then we have what many believe is the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>murder on music row where a young man who</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>got out of college & he wanted to be a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>songwriter, he immediately gets a job as</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>a chart writer for a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>magazine called Music Box.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& he's basically doing the country</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>charts. & this is before we have</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>billboard music. This is in 1989. Now,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>billboard charts are around, but we don't</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>have radio play counting it by other</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>entities. & he took a pencil. He was</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>kind of a savant & he would literally</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>call radio stations.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& while he was doing that & finding</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>out he saw things that were kind of weird</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& he realized there's a huge payola</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>scheme going on by the owner of the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>magazine company putting out the charts.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Basically, he was going to artists,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>making them pay him hundreds of thousands</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>of dollars to start their careers.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& he would record them, get them shot,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>get them in places, get them on the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>radio, but he was actually paying to put</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>them on the radio, which is illegal. It</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>was a big scam. & it was uncovered by</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>this kid. & when he told his friend who</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>was in on it, he was assassinated</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>literally on music row in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>front of one of those out artists.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& I'm talking Shot in the Head twice by</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>a killer. So we've had pretty crazy</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>history of true crime in Nashville.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Everybody just thinks it's bright lights</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& neon lights & drinking. & we've</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>had really interesting stories. So we</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>tell these stories & we take you to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>their locations on the tour.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>On Nashville's Lost Spirits Murder &</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>True Crime, Haunted Pub Crawl</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>participants can experience Nashville's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>haunted side & learn about ghostly</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>encounters that have been reported at the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>city's most eerie bars. You just</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>mentioned one of them. What, Mark, can</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>you tell me about</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>these ghostly encounters?</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>One of the most famous haunted bars is</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>obviously one of the most famous bars in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Nashville, & that's Tootsies. Tootsies</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>has been around since 1960. It is off the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>alley between the Ryman. Literally, you</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>could get off backstage at the Ryman</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Auditorium, which is where the Grand Ole</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Opry was during the 1960s.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& you could literally walk right into</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the back door of Tootsies. There was no</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>alcohol allowed in the Ryman. That was a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>house of God. There was no air</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>conditioning. & of course, the green</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>rooms were super small. I mean, this</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>place was built in 1891. It was built to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>be a church. It wasn't</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>built to be an auditorium.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Obviously, country stars, they need some</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>liquid courage going on stage. & sure</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>enough, they go right off the backstage</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& they go right in to Tootsies. &</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>there was beer on tap there & a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>jukebox. & you could hear on the radio,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>though, at Tootsies</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>when you were to go on.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>They're like, ah, & so one of the more</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>famous people that used to frequent was</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Hank Williams, Sr. He'd hear on the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>radio, they'd call him up & they'd go,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Hank, they're calling you. He'd be like,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>ah, something's gonna come get me. &</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>he'd just be pounding them away. I mean,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>he was a notorious</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>drinker. It's what ended his life.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>But after 3 times missing his call to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>go up, he was told that he could no</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>longer be a part of the Grand Ole Opry.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& so this is Hank Williams, Sr. We're</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>talking about & this is one of the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>greatest country music</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>writers, singers of all time.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& his life was cut short at 29 years</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>old. But even before he was 30, he had</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>written 50 number one hits, probably one</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>of the greatest of all time. Being told</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>he can't be a part of the Grand Ole Opry</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>anymore. He was devastated. Obviously, he</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>never could get clean.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Mainly because he was addicted to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>morphine because he had a degenerative back</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>problem. & then of course, he just</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>chased it with beer. & that's what</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>killed him. He OD'd in the back of a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Cadillac on his way to a concert that he</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>almost missed. Well, he missed the plane.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So they had to drive him there. So he</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>didn't miss the show.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Many people say they hear Hank in the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>back of the Ryman. They see him walking</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>in the alley & they see him on stage</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>playing. There have been many people that</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>have told me that they've been cleaning</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>up at night & Hank Williams will just</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>kind of start playing.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& then you're like, well, there's no</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>music anywhere. & then you kind of just</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>hear Hank Williams playing music. &</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>then I've also had someone tell me they</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>were cleaning up one night. & there was</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>a girl sitting on the stage at Tootsie's.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& he swore up & down it was Patsy</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Cline who died in a plane crash too. So</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>many horrific deaths happened around</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>country music of people who were in the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Grand Ole Opry at that time. & there's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>kind of a connection</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>between that alley & Tootsie's.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>There's even footprints in the back of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the alley of Hank's boots still there. So</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>that's one of the more haunted bars here</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>in Nashville that we take you to.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>When one goes on your Nashville Speakeasy</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Secrets, Murder & True Crime Bar Crawl,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>they step into Nashville's hidden</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>speakeasies & uncover chilling tales of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>murder & mayhem from</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the Prohibition era.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>What, Mark, was life like in Nashville</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>during that time period?</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>That's a great question because that's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>another story that most people don't</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>know. & the one story I get, you're</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>crazy, Mark. There's no way that's a true</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>story. Even though I'll tell you crazy</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>ghost tales all day long, I get this.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Tennessee was the first state to pass</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Prohibition. It happened in 1909. That's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>statewide Prohibition. There were always</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>countywide prohibitions, but never a</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>statewide prohibition. Obviously, the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>18th Amendment was passed in 1919.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>With the Prohibition being passed 10</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>years prior, Tennessee had to find other</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>ways of drinking because many people in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Tennessee will tell you, we're the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>birthplace of whiskey,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>okay? Not that Kentucky stuff.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Listen, we can make bourbon here in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Tennessee, too. There's no reason why.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Just FYI. He carried cash on him</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>at all times, whether it was in his</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>overalls or in his safe.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& so, I mean, they knew that if they</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>broke into that bank, even though it was</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>a bar & strip club, they could go into</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the bank & get some cash.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Unfortunately, Skull was tougher than</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>they thought. & even though he was 80,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>he was 6 ft 4, he fought them &</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>they ended up taking him out by cutting</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>his throat 6 times.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>It was a brutal homicide.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>He was friends with everyone on country</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>music. Willie Nelson actually went on</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>America's Most Wanted to find their</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>killers, which they</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>did, but it took 2 years.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>But he was the original bootlegger, the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>original Speak Easy master, the man of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Nashville. & the newspaper gave him the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>moniker, mayor of Printer's Alley.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We're not in New York or Chicago, but we</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>definitely had prohibition because we</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>were still making whiskey in Tennessee.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We were still shipping it out.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Al Capone came through many times on his</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>way to Florida. So we know there was some</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>sort of connection there. Every city in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>America claims Al Capone was in their</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>city, but we do know that he was at least</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>in Nashville because you can drive right</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>from Hamilton, Ontario down through</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Chicago & right to Nashville.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So, you know, we can do all sorts of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>things. So we're pretty sure he was here.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So we definitely have lots of true crime</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>murder stories that go with our</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>prohibition era. & the Speakeasies are</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>still standing. So we can take you to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>those old Speakeasies that were there</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>during the era today.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So that's kind of what entices people to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>take that tour. It become, we started in July.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Its become our most popular</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>tour next to our ghost tours.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>It has been my experience in interviews</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>I've had with other ghost tour operators</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>that theaters tend to be the most haunted</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>building in the city.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>What with showbiz folk that wanting to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>ascend when they vacate their physical</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>bodies, but prefer instead to remain at the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>haunts on the earth</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>plane, they loved when alive.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Yeah, we think that's reciprocal</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>haunting. We believe that they are just</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>reliving their days. For instance, Skull,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>I always say he literally had a quote in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the newspaper in the 1980s that said he</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>would die in that building.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& he also believed in ghosts because in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the same building, the man that ran the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>brothel that was in the front, his</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>building entered in the alley. But the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>building was built in 1890s. & the man</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>who ran in the front, who was kind of the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Skull of the era by the name of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Ike Johnson, he shot</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>himself when prohibition hit.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So he haunts that building, & he would</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>talk to Skull & Skull always believed</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>he'd go out like Ike someday & he would</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>die in that building. So I just there's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>something about that building.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>There's a very fine dining restaurant</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>where Ike shot himself now called</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Sinatra's & Skull's Rainbow Room is</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>still there in the back in the alley. So</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>obviously both those buildings have had</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>their fair share of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>paranormal experiences.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>& remember, it was a brothel. So</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>brothels always tend to have some sort of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>paranormal experience. & Ike was kind</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>of a killer. I mean, he was the law of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>his place, which was known as the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Southern turf. & if you were caught</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>cheating, or he'd take an ice pick to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>you, throw you out. If you got caught</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>coming back in, he'd just shoot you.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So much went on in that building. It's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>still that's another building made</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>entirely of limestone. I would say it's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Skull's personal heaven. He used to call</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>it the Rainbow Room.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Because he believed when you entered the</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Rainbow Room, you were going in to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>another world like the Wizard of Oz,</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>which was very popular in 1948 when they</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>opened the Rainbow Room.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>So that was kind of the whole point of</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>that whole name. So I believe that he</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>does he didn't want to go anywhere. He</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>just wanted to stay there. & we know</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>he's still there. People have seen him.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We take EMF readers to</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>the spot where he's passed.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>That was his favorite spot. There's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>pictures of him sitting in that spot.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>That was actually where he fought. That's</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>where he was found when his neck was cut.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>We take it. Nothing spikes more than in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>that whole building than right there in</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>that location. So I'm</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>convinced he's there.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Should viewers of Paranormal Yakker want</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>to learn about the various tours offered</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>by Go Nashville Tours, a company that I'm</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>positive you must be proud of, as it was</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>voted best walking tours in music city.</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>How, Mark, can they do that?</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>Yeah, GoNashvilleTours.com is our entire</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>gamut of tours, including the speakeasy</font></b><b><font color='#0433ff'>tour that we spoke about.
