My guest on today'sshow is Nancy du Tertre.I'll be talking with Nancy about her book,How To Talk To An Alien.Many studies show that globally mostpeople believe alien beings have comedown to earth & walk amongst us.Have you ever given thought to how youwould communicate with an alien,should you encounter one?My guest will give you the answer.Known as The Skeptical Psychic, Nancyis a Securities Litigation Attorney whobecame a trained psychic detective,spiritual medium, & remote viewertrained in military methods.She's a magna cum laude graduate ofPrinceton University,Is certified in IntuitiveGestalt Psychotherapy, works withlaw enforcement & victims families tohelp find missing persons,authored many books, teaches variouscourses, lectures, &does private readings.Nancy du Tertre, welcome to Paranormal Yakker.Thank you, appreciate it.From what I've read about you, Nancy,I've learned your fascination with thetopic of alien communicationcame after a major sightingof a football field-sized UFO.Could you tell me when that sightingoccurred, describe the spacecraft yousaw, & what was your initial reactionto what you witnessed?I was living in New Jersey at the time,about 30 minutesoutside of New York City.I decided to go to a movie theaterone night, a local place with my daughter whowas probably, I think she was around 19or 20 years old at the time.& we went, it must have been an off night,but we showed up, it was in a Cineplex was in a big mall,so big flat area with parking lots& low buildings, that kind of thing,& surrounded on both sides by highways,major highway, both of them actually,coming out of New York City.So we go into the movie theater, we watchWoody Allen's Midnight in Paris,which is all about going backwards in time.Kind of interesting with regard to whathappened, you know, whenyou think back on this.Anyway, so we watched a movie, it was alittle odd, we were the only people, in sitting in our movie theater,there were about 5 different theatersor so, maybe 6,& the movie ends, we get up,we leave the theater, we go out,there's nobody, nobody, not a living soul in thislobby, figure, it was 11.45pm.But I've never seen it that empty,& I lived there for several,well, a couple of decades.Nobody working there, no customers,nobody at the concession stands.We open the door, we go out into theparking lot, & itwas a very dark night,& my daughter, as we're walking to thecar, she points out to thesky, she said, What's that?& I look up, & I see, it looked likeroughly 20 or 30 orangelights sitting in the sky.I don't have a clue, I've never seenorange lights usually, you know, they'reblue or red or white, they're not orange.I didn't know what that was, I started,because I'm a rational typeof person, I start thinking,are they bouncing off of clouds that arelow, & then, I mean, from somethingbeing, lights being, like searchlights,sent up, I didn't know what they were.& no, there was nothing on the ground.& the more I stared at these lights,eventually I could make out what it was.It was, as you said, it was a footballfield-sized spacecraft. It was sitting inthe air, it was roughly500 to 1,000 feet above us.It wasn't moving, it wasn't making asound, it was boomerang-shaped.& when I say boomerang, it was not atriangle. It was like, you know, one ofthose, like you toss it.& my daughter was really terrified,she kept saying, Well, let's go, let's go.& I said, No, no, no,I want to see what this is.Eventually, as I'm staring atthis, & now I can see the full outlineof the craft, there's a white orb thattelescopes open very fast, like that.& I figured it was about 15 or 20 feetin diameter off of one of the wings. Itdetaches, it starts wandering around likeit's intelligently guided& looking for something.It was one of the most bizarre thingsI've ever seen in my life. It was light,normally if you look atlight in the sky, there are rays.It doesn't matter if you're looking atstreet lights, stars, airplane lights,whatever they are, you're going to seerays coming off of the light.This was totally self-contained. It wasluminescent & clearlyoutlined, perfect circle.Anyway, so it goes behind the craft,disappears for a second, comes back overthe top of the craft, & then goes over& redocks where it came from.& just like it telescoped open, ittelescopes closed& then boom, it's gone.Again, my daughter is like yelling,Let's go, let's go, let's go. I said,No, I don't know what this is.& she hung out with me, thank goodness.& eventually thewingtips disappeared, gone.Then the midsection of these sort ofboomerang wings gone, & then themidsection gone, it's just gone.It either cloaked or dematerialized, butit did not fly away for sure. I don'tknow whether it was interdimensional.I don't know whether it was somethingextraordinary from a similar place.It was very, very strange. Anyway,I did not think to pull out mycell phone, which I had on me.& I know, because I know many, manypeople who have had contact or they'vebeen abducted ordifferent types of experiences,it's extremely common that I think whatthey're doing, they, is they are blockinga part of our brain that would allow usto think about doing that.& I think that's for a reason. Anyway,so we drove home. My daughter'sterrified. She figures, Oh,they got to be following us.I said, No, no. & she starts to talk.& I said, Look, don't tell meanything. I don't want to know anything.What we're going to do is we're going togo back to the house. We were only5 minutes away from the house,& we're both going to draw a picture.We're going to compare & see if whatwe saw matches. Then we'll start sharing.So we did that.Yes, they were exact matches.I actually wrote a blog. I publishedthe pictures on those. & then she wanted tocall the police. She picks up the phone.I said, How about let's put that downfor a second. Let's think aboutwhat we're going to say here.Well, I'm going to tell them, you know.& I said, No, you're not. You're goingto say something more like,has anybody noticed anything unusual inthe skies tonight? So she did that.& of course, they said no.& for the next 2 years, every timethat my daughter & I, she lived in Brooklyn,I was living in New Jersey,every time we had a phone call,it didn't matter any combination of cellphones, landlines, anything, there wouldbe a point where there would be a verycold electronic voice.It sounded like it came through a lot ofwave distortion. It sounded like male,but kind of weirdly creepy,& it would start talking.At that point, we could both hear it,neither one of us could hear each other.We could only both of us hear it.It would talk to us in a language thatI'd never heard in my life, & I'mpretty familiar with languages. Nothing.I couldn't make any correlation with it.& then it was when it would be done.Once it said her name, but it would bedone, it would hang outboth of us simultaneously,& then we wouldn't be able to call eachother back for 5 to 10 minutes.& eventually that happened with some ofher friends & some of my clients.That's what got me very interested inET languages, alien languages,non-human intelligence,as people like to call them now.Yeah. Titles for things. UFOs, UAPs.Rose by any the other name, you know, whatever.At any rate, you & your daughter,you did connect the sounds we're hearing onthe phone to the UFO you saw. You knewthere was a correlation, a connection to that?Yeah, because it began immediately. Itwent on every time we had a phone callfor about 2 years & suddenly stopped.& then years later, I got woken up inthe middle of the night by a telepathicvoice. Now, that's highly unusual for me.It snapped me right out of a sleep.I know that voice. I would recognize thatvoice anywhere. It was the same voice.So I called up my daughter the next day& I said, I told her. & she said,Well, that is really weird.Because she said, Yesterday, I wascalling a friend of mine trying to leavea message on her phone& that voice interrupted me.So it was using electronic & telepathicmethods. & it was communicating to usin a language that I couldn't understand.& I speak English, French,& I studied & speak a bit of German & Thai.So I have languages even that ifI don't know them, I canunderstand a lot of them anyway.I couldn't get a grip on anything.So, you know, a lot of people think thatET languages are relatedto ancient languages.& I go through that in my book,How to Talk To An Alien. I run through allthe different possibilities.& then if they were using some versionof an ancient human languageto communicate, maybe they learned it here,flew away for a fewthousand years & came back.Even so, they've probably been arounda lot longer than that. I don'tthink they would have kept it.I wanted to know, well, okay, so how doeseverybody understand them? You know,all these people walking around saying,Yeah, yeah, yeah, ET spoke to me.Really, how do you know, what were theysaying? How do you know that they weresaying that? Well,I discovered there are different ways.So they're either doing it with actualsound & voices. They'redoing it telepathically.They can do it sort of so that it passessomehow through your consciousness.You can express it through writing.What I discovered was there's noconsistency here. If you're, let's say,you're American, Canadian, they'reprobably going to speak English.Maybe they'll speak some French if you'rein the French part of Canada. But if youare, what I was astounded was, they'respeaking in multiple languages to peoplewho understand multiple languages.They even spoke in one instance to somepeople in Finland, where I think it'sonly 5 million people in the world whoactually speak Finnish, & it is knownto be, it's classified as the mostdifficult language forEnglish-speaking people to learn. They've spoken Finnish to contactees.The other thing that was reallyinteresting was a lot of times peoplewould report that theywere speaking with accents.& so I kind of followed that through.Well, what does that tell you?There's data in knowing ifsomebody's speaking with an accent.Were they learning it on how-to tapeswhen they were in outer space or in adifferent dimension? Were they livingamong us & slowly learning it like anyof us would be learning a language if welive in another country or whatever?Were they learning it on audio tapessomehow? I mean, who knows? But the pointis, if you can identify the accent,you can identify who theywere learning it from.& the wonderful example that I always givewas in the Italian case, it was fromthe 1950s, & one of the non-humanintelligences, some of these Italians hadactually met these ETs who claimed to beliving in an underground base under theAdriatic Sea that was 200 miles long,which could expand & contract.But one of them apparently spoke with anaccent that was from way back, like howyou would imagine that Mussolini would bespeaking, which gives you a timeframe.You know, because if you go historicallyback into, like if you're looking at themovies, if you look at, like go back tothe 1940s or the 30s when they were justbeginning to get movies, & the men areall talking like this, you know, theyhave a little bit of a nasal voice,& they speak a little, they have adifferent rhythm,so they do stuff like that.If you add that in, that gives you atimeframe. & then you put the accent,let's say they have an Italian accentspeaking English, now you have an ideathat they have either lived there orlearned it somehow through Italy.What, Nancy, were your feelings oropinions of UFOs & experiencers, people who claim they had close encounters withthe alien beings, or even abducted bythem & taken aboard their crafts,prior to your own sighting of a UFO?I could go through all of the crazy stuffthat you learn when you are training as apsychic. All the crazy things you have tofinally say, okay,yeah, that's real. I get it.The same thing, I did paranormalinvestigations for many years.Okay, fine. Now I'm learning about like, oh,the spirits are moving around the room,they're throwing things, they're moving things, there's, you know, poltergeist stuff, whatever.Okay, that's crazy in my mind, becausethat's not what the world I came from.I went through everything, & I said itcannot get crazier. & yet, every timeI've said that, it does.When I hit the UFO phase, I was afraid totell anybody because I'll tell you why,because number one, I had, I did not knowthey could be the size of a footballfield. I thought I would belaugh out of town for that.Second thing, I had no idea that therewere a variety of shapes, you always hearabout the saucers, you know, that kind ofthing, or at least inthose back then you did.I never heard of a boomerang shape for aUFO. Never. It's still relatively rarecompared to some of the other shapes.& since then, by the way, I mean, I've seenmany, many, many,& all different types.But prior to that, I thought, whateverthis is, I've bumped into something soextraordinary, I'm even having a hardtime believing it. & I did not believeit prior to that, even though, inretrospect, now Irealize, yes, I did have, I did.I had, & that's, I guess, reallycommon. A lot of people get that.Different species of aliens exist,& they seem to range from greys,reptilians, & preying mantis types ofcreatures to humanoids who look like us.Has your research, Nancy, shown that onekind of species is more prevalent thanthe other regarding them visiting ourplanet & interactingwith its inhabitants?I mean, the classic one, I'm sure youknow this, I mean, would be all varietiesof greys coming in all different sizes,statures, facial shapes, head shapes,skin colors, that kind of thing.But that seems to be the most common.After that, I know people who've hada variety ofinteractions with different types.Other than, you know, most people, ifthey're encountering, let's say, thereptilians, they're talking about alsoencountering sort of my lab or mil labtypes of situations where you have humansworking together with reptilian types.That's a special class of experiencers.I knew one, one experiencer who absolutelyadored the reptilians, & she wasattempting to learn their language.But I think that's unusual. Preying mantisis people that they seem much evenless common than that, or the mantistypes, they seem a bit austere.I have no experience. I can only tell youthat as a little kid, 5 years old, I hada pet preying mantis, which I loved.I love this. I used to feed it crickets.But yeah, it was not a mantis.But there are many types. I mean, you gowith the Nordics. I think people have aproblem with Nordics & even identifyingthem. You havehybrids, & hybrids of what?I suppose part humanoid or human,but how do we know the difference?I once encountered, when I was living inNew Jersey, I go to the supermarket.& it's a local place. It was 5 minutesaway from where I lived.I'm in the fresh produce section.& there's a very tall woman standing nextto me. Now, I'm not that tall to startwith, but she wasabnormally for me, tall.She was wearing a, she was very elegant,& nobody was elegant. I mean, thesewere like housewives wearing their yogastuff. I never saw anybody beingdress like her in my life.She looked like she was coming out of the 1950s.She was wearing a, it was like awhite dress that was cinched at the waistwith a big wide belt. It was white withbig red, I think they were like red rosesor big red flowers on them.& she had blonde hair. She's verybeautiful. I said, would you mindreaching that whatever that was, that wasup too high for me toreach? She said, yes, of course.I said, thank you very much. She said,oh, no problem or whatever. & I said,you know, do you mind my asking? You havea little bit of an accent.I'm wondering where you're from.& she said, oh no, you've never heardof it. & I said, well, try me. & shesaid, Latvia. Now I visited Latvia a longtime ago. I have some idea what theysound like. & maybe she was Latvian.I don't know, but shewas very strange for me.Anyway, so I get, I take my one item.I go straight to the cash register. I payfor it. I get in my car & I drive home.Now normally it takes me 5 minutes.If you're walking, it willtake you 20 minutes, maybe.I get to my street. I turn down my street& the woman is walking on my street.She didn't have a car. & even if she,she'd left, she got there before I did.& I went straight to the cashier.So I do think that people bump intowhatever they are for any number ofreasons. & I don't know that peoplenecessarily recognize them. A lot ofpeople say, oh yes, I can spot an ET,a humanoid, a Nordic, or tall white,or whatever. I don't know about that.The beginnings of a number of majorreligions have aspects to them that couldeasily be interpreted as having beeninfluenced by UFOs & alien beings.Could you, Nancy, tell me about one or2 of those religions & what aspectsof the belief system or dogma can beattributed to havebeen influenced by aliens?I think the one that you hear about allthe time is Christianity. & you go backto the Bible & some people said it'ssort of an ET manual. It depends how youinterpret it, like anything else. Sopeople talk about the wheels of Ezekiel.That's the most common.They talk about the Star of Bethlehem.They talk about the burning bush ofMoses. There you got 2.You got Christianity & Judaism right there.I don't know enough about some of theother religions to really say, I mean,other than certainly in, let's say,Hinduism, you have, I don't know if it'shundreds or even maybethousands of different gods.& there are theories that if ETs began,let's say, their rule, & I didn't wantto get it. There's a very long history onthis in Mesopotamia, inthat part of the world.& then if they took the human womencreated hybrids, the hybrids then are ona higher status than the lower, justregular humans. They then ruled. You canfind plenty of stories like that.You go back to the ancient, the Greek gods,the Roman gods. There are theoriesthat they were initiallynon-human intelligence.We inhabitants on planet Earth are ofdifferent nationalities, races,& belief systems & speak differentlanguages. Alien beings are no different.When it comes to how different languagescame about, you have a unique take on thebiblical Tower of Babel.Could you share that?If I do, I know that I talked about thatsomewhere in here. I know I got a nicepicture of the tower.But I don't know that my take on it isany different, other than the fact thatif we try to get too close to the, let'ssay, let's just call it the power's itthat be, & you can interpret that any whichway you want, that what the tower did is,in being destroyed, it locked humanityinto different languages,creating our own problems in attemptingto communicate with each other. I don'tknow if that's what you're talking about.How that all came about with thedifferent languages, the influence ofalien beings, how it came about, becauseso many things we understand, so manythings we don't know, so thatcould be a source of that too.I was just wondering what your take onthat was, was part of that influence fromalien beings who broughttheir language ways to us.I don't know the answer. I thought ifanybody on the planet did, you might knowthat, or that. People from variouscountries who speak different languageshave claimed to have communicated withalien beings verbally, say they spoke tothem in their native language.Now, you're already brought out, & whenthey do it, they do it in an accent, an accent.Do we know how the aliens learnto speak so many different languages,& with the accents of thepeople who they are talking to?I think it's because they have been ableto infiltrate really well. I know thatsounds difficult for some people tounderstand that, & for other peopleit's like way too easy, like, oh yeah,that one's an alien, that one's an alien,you know, & I don't think it, I don'tfeel it works that way.I can only compare it to people have beentalking since the whole drone thing hasbeen going on in New Jersey, & I have,obviously I have a lot of friends& colleagues who theylive there still, I don't.Even though the media is no longertalking about it, they say it hasabsolutely not stopped, & apparentlyit's also happening in other placesaround the globe. It's not justNew Jersey, it's, you know, in differentparts of the US, usually associated withdifferent military bases.But the interesting thing is that a lotof people are now talking about the factthat things that look like manmade,either drones or airplanes orhelicopters, they have seen them morph.Now, I don't know of anything that we cando currently that allows, I mean,I understand of course we have waysto shield & cloak things,that again of course.I don't know that we have something thatallows the people who are looking at itto receive a different impression. To methat implies a certain maybe form ofconsciousness manipulation.I don't know the answer to that. Maybethere's nothing to do that, maybe there'sa technology that allows you to createsomething but then you would have tomatch it to the people.When I was, I don't know, several yearsago I was out in Las Vegas, & a friendof mine & I decided just to go fora very very long drive in the middle of thenight towards area 51, that whole area.& we're driving along & it was,there's nobody else out there.& I remember we stopped at a certain point,because we were looking at some verystrange clouds, even though they weresomewhat lit up, even though it was night& it was dark out.But I do remember that we did see a circularshaped craft, & it was in the cloud,& then it suddenly morphed into asquare shape. & that always struck me,because I don't know ofanything that can morph.Not like that. Not atechnology like that.For those experiencers who said theircommunication with aliens was donetelepathically, while they were eitherawake or in a dream state, how did theydescribe the dynamics that took placebetween them & the alien?It depends who you talk to, it's all over theplace. It really does. I mean, one friendof mine, long time ago, had said that shewas asleep in her bed that's sort of thetypical like, oh, oh moment.Typically there are 3 beings thatwill show up, although that's not alwaysthe case but that's typical. She said,suddenly she opened her eyes she realizedthere were some somebodyor something in the room.She see's a small greys, one comes overto her, & she realized she's completelyparalyzed. The only thing she can moveare her eyelids & her eyes. That's it.Everything else is paralyzed, & she wasterrified out of her mind & shetelepathically begged this being to tryto be kind to her, that she was frightenedshe tried to explain her emotions & wassort of begging for sometype of mercy or kindness.& she was appalled because she saidthis creature, this entity had zeroempathy, nothing. People have encounteredthat a lot & I think that's what's madesome people feel that some of thesebeings are some form of maybe robotic AIor, or something like that, because theydon't seem to have a capacity.Although you would think that even thedegree that humans have begun to develop AI,they're inserting signals for them toknow when to smile, how to communicatenicely versus in different ways.But yeah, so you have people respond withincredible fear, others with incrediblejoy, & they get to do really coolstuff, maybe pilot, some of the craft,they get to have conversations, beingusually telepathic on board.It's just one of those, like, wonderfulmagical things. & then you wantto go back & verify it somehowreactions are all over the place.Aside from aliens communicating with humans verbally,telepathically or in a dream state,what are the methods to the aliens use tocommunicate with us. & on the reverseside, what methods are we humans using tocontact our galacticbrothers & sisters?You probably heard Jake Barber’sinterview. So he was talking about well,yeah, so he was confessing somehow thatcertain groups of military remote viewerswere calling these things down using acertain type of telepathicmeans that he's callingpsionics, which I also find silly,everybody wants to make consciousnessmachine like, that's all preparation forwhat's coming, by the way, according to him,you know, they're calling them down.& then of course, militaryis able to shoot them down.& then they're getting access to crashsites & that kind of thing. I thinkthat's not a great idea. It's a littlepainful to me, because I do remoteviewing & I teach remote viewing.& I also have been doing the equivalent ofwhat Greer CE-5 things are where yougo out & you, you try to make contact.& I have always sort of caution peoplesaid in this for many years, be careful ifyou're going to call something down.Be careful about that. You don't even knowwhat it is. That's number one. If youwant to make a communication, that's onething. If you want tocall it down, that's another.& on top of that, if what they're doingis calling down these ships with acharade of love, I find that to be beyondabusive & not good for humanity,period, end of the story.A high percentage of contactees have saidthe alien beings they communicated withgave them messages to pass on to mankind.Have you, Nancy, found a commonalityregarding those messages?I talked about it a little bit. I quotedsome of them in How To Talk To An Alien.The messages, I mean, I think thatthey're rather similar. Either we'rebeing warned in a friendly way,then essentially, watch out. You're playingwith fire. Do something about it, eitherin terms of our military one-upsmanshipor in terms of playing with the planet& turning it into a,this sort of barren dust bowl of humanexistence only, as if we lived inside ourbrain on this beautiful planet that'sinhabited by many, many other things.So there's that. I think the'rewarnings. I think there are, there's akindness in that. & an attempt not tointerfere. That's the message from that.Like here's some information. We hope ithelps you. Please try to do somethingabout it. But nobody actively interferingwith it. Now you have others whereI think that they're attempting to sort ofexplore & find out, well, what is itlike we're doing? Same deal.We're doing that on other planets.Our automatic reaction to that is shielded the truthfrom the general public, siphon it offinto a military zone, & thenthe military will figureout what to do with it.I can tell you one thing, when I've listenedto some of these interviews withnon-human intelligence, I actually waskind of astounded by the,the tone of the interrogators.I realize it was an interrogation is interrogation.You want to try & pull answers outwhere you can. But if you are in theattack mode continuously, & whatthey're saying frequently is on a very,very high metaphysical level ofunderstanding, you got to think about it.Some of this stuff is extremely profound.You got to think about it. It's not likethey're spitting in your face & saying,yeah, figure that one out.So I don't know that we have treated themwith a degree of dignity that we should.& the other piece is, I've seen many,many orbs. I've seen many UFOs. I've seenall different types.I know from a lot of what's now beingreleased, it's something I knew already,which is that a lot of these orbs looklike they're coming in so fast that itlooks like they'recoming in on an attack.What they're doing is they're generally not.Is their do pilots then make sudden sharp turns?Does it freak them out? & they say,oh my God. & they end up with someserious accidents orproblems. Yeah, that happens.But by & large, we're not beingattacked. That ought to say something.The only thing that seems to bedisconcerting is that we're beingsurveilled. Maybe these areentities that have never had an emotionon their wherever they're coming from.& they don't know what that is.They don't know how to respond to something.Keep driving down a highway & somebodyfrom the fast lane suddenly cuts you off.Usually the instant reaction is to yell& scream at them.You know, how dare they?You know, you start swearing at them orwhatever. & it rarely occurs to any ofus in that split second moment. Oh, maybethe husband was going at 100 miles anhour down the road to get his wife who'sabout to deliver a baby.Maybe somebody was sick. We don't thinkthat we don't give the benefit of thedoubt. That's our nature. & one of theold Reagan Department of Defense motto,which is trust but verify.I sort of slightly ripped that off into atrust & verify. But I absolutelybelieve that we ought to be behaving thatway because we don't know enough abouttheir interactions, their capacities,even though they appearto be highly intelligent.Maybe they are. I've also heardfrom various people who've had encounters.Some of them will tell you they're notthat intelligent.
