Ireally lovethe opportunity toshare the bookSacred Mysticism ofEgypt and my lovefor ancient Egypt.To begin with, I'dlike to know whenyou first becameenthralled withancient Egyptand wanted to learneverything youcould about it, andwhat was the reasonyou felt such astrongconnection to it,when in fact thatis not yourheritage, at leastnot in thisincarnation?As a child, I wasjust so passionateaboutancient Egypt,and of course Igrew up inprovincial Greece,and it was veryhard to find anybooks on mysticismor anythingesotericthose days.And I went andlooked into theancient texts, Iread the Herodotustexts, the ancientGreek texts.Then I discoveredhow we have inGreece, in ourancient sites, manytemples of Isis,goddess Isis, andotherEgyptian deities,because the ancientGreeks at somepoint also feltthat love forEgypt, and theywent there and theystudied with theancient Egyptianmysticsand priests,and they broughtthat backto Greece.And where I comefrom, there aretemples of theseancient Egyptiandeities that I justknew Ifelt at home.I felt more at homein those templesthan I felt in theancientGreek temples.So as a child, myparents lived bythe sea, so theyAegean Sea, andEgypt is justacross from Greece,and I used to lookat the sea and feelthat deep longingfor my home thatwas across the sea.And I had some pastlife memories.When I was inprimary two, I hadthis big memory ofhaving been toEgypt in a pastlife, just came allof a sudden.And it wasn't avery happy life atthe time.It didn't end upwell, but I knew Ihad to do somehealing, and I hadlearned a lot fromthat life,because sometimesyou learn throughsuffering,sometimes you learnthrough joy asthings happen.And that memorytaught me how to bein this world.I was always veryempathic.I could feel whatother people felt.I could know whypeople were maybebehaving in a verydifficult way, in askillful way,children.I just knewintuitively thatthey had a problemat home or therewassomething wrong,but that past lifehelped me seethings moreclearly, and how tobe in this worldand becomemuch more,I would say, have abiggerperspective of life.The subtitle ofyour book,Sacred Mysticism of Egypt,is the ancient pathof HEKA intuition.What is HEKA?It's actually HEKAinitiation, notintuition, butwhat is HEKA?So earlyEgyptologiststranslated HEKA asmagic, but now it'swidelyaccepted that ismuch more than whatwe call magic orwitchcraft.So HEKA is theinvisible power ofcreation, that whatcreates the energy,the living light,the etheric energythat is creatingthe physical world,that is creatingthe etheric worlds,the spiritualrealms, if youlike, that'screating us andeverything happensin divineorder.So even if we thinkthere is so muchchaos in thisworld, this powerof creation holdseverything in somesort of balance andrules all.So they would seethemselves, theancient Egyptianmystics, as beingsof light who couldwork with HEKA, whocould work withenergy, if theywere attuned todifferent portalsof light in theuniverse.And there were twomain portals thatthey wouldwork with.One was the Siriusstar that wasrepresented bygoddess Isis, whois alsocalled the mistressof HEKA, and hertwin soul, if youlike, her brotherOsiris, which wasthe three starsof the Orion Belt.So they wereconnecting withthese heavenlybodies to bringthat energy intothemselvesand into the world.So Stan, the mainthing I would sayof that era is thatthey said, theydescribed thatera as the timewhen the humanbeings were likethey said, likegods orenlightened beingson Earth.So they said thesame thing we'relooking now atenlightened beings,some people connectwith angels, somepeople connect withmasters, etc.They said that thehuman beings livingin a body were likethese masters,these livingmasters on Earth.They were in theirbody, but they hadthe abilities, thespiritualdevelopmentand powersthat we can onlydream of.For example, theywere very connectedwith all life.They couldcommunicatetelepathically,they couldcommunicate witheverythingalive, andthey could workwith the light.And they hadamazingtechnology too.And sometimes wethink of them asvery primitivebeing people,ancient Egyptians,those ancientpeople, we think weare so muchmore evolved.But actually theirspiritualdevelopment beingmuch more in theirheart, they weremuch moreor we were muchmore evolved then.And they createdharmony on Earth.So their temples,the pyramids,everything had tobe like a mirror ofthe heavens.So the threepyramids arerepresenting thestars of theOrion Belt.The Nile, the RiverNile is theMilky Way.And they'recreating everythingin accordance withthe divine planthat theysee in theheavens and theybring to the Earthto bring thatharmony and as wesay, the old axiom,as above so below.So the book,Sacred Mysticism of Egypt,tries to help usremember, it'sremembering,becausealso these peoplesay of this goldentime that they lefttheir monuments,they lefttheir temples, theyleft their writingsfor the children ofthe future,knowing that inthe human history,the chaoswill come.The times that weare living in thatthey describe as atime of chaos.They knew thatthese times wouldcome and they haveprophecies aboutthose that areour times.So they are tryingto help us rememberthat we canactually be beingsof light once moreand create harmonyinstead of chaos.While on thesubject of theGolden Times inancient Egypt,I'd like to ask youabout a past lifeyou accessed there.Could youelaborate on it?Basically, thispast lifehappened in 2006that took me to theGolden Times.And I have to thankhere my friend andlater becamemy mentor, Papkoc,who has died now.He's passed to theother side.But I was in myflat in Glasgow,and we had ateaching,a workshop here.And I kept closingmy eyes inmeditationand seeing thisoutline ofthis man.And basically, Ijust had no ideawho thisperson was.But I felt thatwhoever it was, itwas maybe aspirit guideor somebody I havenot met before.The teacher saidthat it wasbasically afriend, Frank,who had come tovisit me because heknew me fromancient Egypt.And then Frank andI emailed.We nevermet in person.But thanks totechnology, wemanaged tocommunicate.And he said, yes, Icame because Iwanted to pay myrespects to you.I knew you inancient Egypt.And I don't want totell you more.I want you to findoutyourself of whatwas your past lifein Egypt.So I wasvery curious.And I tried toaccess that pastlife in Egypt.And my intentionwas curiosity.Let me see.Let me see what Ican find.So excited.So curiosity wasnot a very goodintention, as Ifound out.As I heard thisvoice, why do youwant to go there?And I said, oh,because Frank said.And then basically,I came backinto my body.All thevision stopped.I'm veryclairvoyant, so Ican access theseother realms.But nothinghappened.And then I had toreally deepwithin myself.And I realizedthere was somethingin the golden timesthat I need toaccess to bringforth to help ourtimes now.And that became myintention.So with thatintention, I'msharing thisjust in caseanybody fromour viewerswants to accessthese times.And to saycuriosity may notget you there.But a goodintention can getyou there.So I accessthese times.And everything wasvery vivid.And I could feeleven the changes intemperature.I was at the timebefore, right whenthepyramids were beingbuilt, but theywere basically notjust being built,they were designedat the same time.And what I saw theway they werebuildingthe pyramidswas that theengineersthere, apartfrom having adefinite design andplan of how theywere goingto construct theseamazing pyramids,they were allcoming together andvisualizingwith the power oftheir mind everypart ofthe buildingprocess, right fromthe start.So in their mind,they were seeingthe blocks comingone next toeach other.And then I realizedthat they werecreating notjust a physicalstructure, but theywere creating alsoan ethericstructure.And that ethericstructure meansthat whateverhappens to thephysical,the physical isvery wellconstructed.As we know, therehave beenearthquakesin Cairo,but nothing happensto the pyramids.They have stood thetest of time.And they're stillstanding there.But the ethericstructure talksabout the energy.Because the ancientEgyptian masters,they say we are thephysical beings,even ourselves.Everything has aphysical formthat we seewith our eyes.But apart from thephysical form,there is also anetheric part of usthat is connectedto this universalpower of HEKAthat wetalked about.And this ethericpart ismade of light.And therefore, thisetheric partcommunicateswith all the cosmosand thedivine essence.So they create thestructures asethericstructures first.And then they buildthem on thephysical.That was somethingthat I learned bylooking at that.And I could feel,I went intothis temple.It was onebuilding,one floor.It's just a groundfloor with anunderground.And I went intothis temple.I could feel myselfbeing so hotbecause theheat of Egypt.I was a big woman.My skin wasmuch darker.I was somethinglike eight monthspregnant.And I would feelthe heat andeverything.And I was goingthere todo a ritual.There were otherwomen withme and peoplethat stayed behindthat went insidethe temple.And what I rememberwas that differenceof the heat,even though where Iwas in Scotland wasvery cold.So I was havingthese physicalsensations in thepast life.And I rememberlooking atthe symbols.And I could feelthat the symbols atthat timewere not actuallyinscribed.That was the timebefore thePharaonic Egyptthat you could seethe hieroglyphicseverywhere.But in thoseearlier structures,the symbolswere onlymade with energy.And I couldsee the symbols.I could see thehieroglyphsand all of that.But nobody hadwritten them downin physical form.And of course,later on, now weknow in thePharaonic Egypt,these hieroglyphsare allwritten down.But if we go backto the pyramidsand the earliertemples, themegalithic temples,there is verylittlewritten there.That was somethingthat I saw.It was basically aninvitation to say,connect with whatyou can see throughyour heartand not throughyour eyes.You define the godsand goddesses ofancient Egypt asboth enlightenedbeings andarchetypes. Can youtell me moreabout this?The way I describeit is basically youhave them in twolevels, in themental level, tounderstand themwith our mind.You could say theyare the perfectrepresentation of aprinciple. So ifyou take one of thegods and goddesses,let's say youtake Osiris.Now Osiris is beingdismembered in 14pieces and thenbeing put togetheragain. And so thisrepresents ourhuman life.How when we comeand we are in ourheart and in ourgoodness, it'ssaying heart hasbeen cut and we canfeel I've leftparts of me behindin differenttraumaticexperiences.But then throughthe spiritual path,I'm being put backtogether again andreclaiming myself.So he's describingthis process.And you could saythat's anarchetype. That isthe archetypalprocess that we allgo through. Butalso that is in themental level tounderstand it as amental level.Other gods andgoddesses we havehere, for example,Sekhmet. Sekhmet isthe destroyer ofchaos and there isa lot of chaos in our world.That was also thelast era that welived through, thatthe end of the lastera with a greatflood. That wasSekhmet supposed tohave comeand taken away.And a lot of chaoshappened then toclear what washappening, all thecorruption that wasthere at the time.So Sekhmet is thedestroyer.As an archetype,you could say thisfear is thedestroyer of chaos.But as anenlightened being,then you come tothespiritual level.So you leave themental level andyou come to thespiritual level.And in thespiritual level,you find that thesedivine principlesthat these beingsof light representare within you too.And you can findthem within youthrough spiritualpractice. And youconnect with them.They arerepresenting theprincipleoutside duality.On Earth we haveright or wrong,good and bad. So wecolor everything,we skillful andskillful. So thesebeings, they are inperfect form. Likefor example, thedivinemother, Hathor.In these divineprinciples, this isthe perfect divinemother that offerseverything to allbeings. But onEarth we could sayall together, thisis a good mother orI have problemswith my mother, shewasn't so good.So we coloreverything. But asan archetype, thereis a perfectionthere that invitesus to say, you findyourself in thatperfection and findit within yourselfthrough thespiritualascension.You become thisbeing of light thatwe wear in thegolden times.Because in thegolden times,humanity had, theysaid they hadincredible powers,incredibleknowledge, andwithin themselves,and incredibletechnology too.But they worked inharmony with theEarth, with eachother, and withourselves within,instead of being incompetition and allof the things thatwe see todayin our world.How can we mortalshere on planetEarth find the god,goddess orarchetype we wereborn with?This is a very goodquestion. If wewish to find ourown archetype, thefirst thing is weneed to look reallygood intoourselves, to say,"What makes mereally tick? Whatis the passion inmy heart?" Not whatwe do out in theworld. Somebodymight say, "Well,this is myprofession. That'snot our archetype."It's like who weare inside. Forexample, somebodymight be a healer,somebody might be anurse, somebodymight have thatprofession.But it might be acalling, and theymight say, "Yes, Ihave that archetypeof the healer." Orit might besomething that theyfound themselvesdoing because thatwas exciting, orthat's what theyhad learned intheir life fromtheir parents orwhatever.I think if we finda deep calling thatwhen we are in thiscalling, then wecan say, "Yeah,life makes sensenow, before I feltlost, but now lifemakes sense. I'mnot doing this. I'mnot like that, justwaiting for mypension to come.It's my passion."When we look atthat, then we cansee, "Okay, what isthat principle thatis within me?"So it's about knowingourselves, "Knowthyself," as theancient Greek said.When you find that,it takes almost alifetime to work it out.It's not very easy.People say to mesometimes, "Can youtell me what is myarchetype?"Sometimes I can seeit so clearlybecause I know theperson, andsometimes it's moreobvious to somebodyelse than toourselves.But really, weshould find itourselves. Weshould look for itourselves. When wefind what is, youcould say, "Thereason we arehere," then we findwhat is our sole purpose.It's a big questionthat we can askagain and again anddoesn't have to dowith our professionbecause that'swhere we getmeddled up.Then I think wewill find ourarchetype. It mightbe at the end ofour life. It might be sooner.They had so manydifferent powersthat theyidentified. The oneway to recognizethese powers isthat it's Netero,It's Neter and Netero is theplural. It'senlightened beingin ancient Egypt.They have animalsassociated withthem. If you lookat the animal, yourealize, "Okay,these are thecharacteristicsthat they aretrying to convey."For example, theDivine Mother isthe cow woman withthe cow horns andthe milk that shefeeds all of naturefrom her body andgives her flesh,her body, her skin,everythingto the people.It's like they'reall giving,nurturing Mother.So you can see fromthe animal alsowhat it means, whatis that enlightenedbeing, thatgoddess or god.And you find thatin other traditionstoo, it's not justin Egypt. InSanskrit,tradition is thesame. You haveLakshmi there, youhave other cowgoddesses,goddesses and godsthat are riding onan animal and theanimal has to dosomething withidentifying theircharacteristics.To my pleasantsurprise, you statethat initiationsinto the mysterieswere open to anyoneand not hereditaryor dependent onsocial status.That being thecase, what were theskills orqualificationsnecessary to becomean initiate?This is really trueand that changed atsome point in lateron in Egypt.But in thebeginning, beforein the golden timesand in the oldkingdom, it waslike that.Anybody, you don'thave to have apriest as a father,anybody who feelsthe calling can goto the temple to beinitiated,to study themysteries, tobecome a priest ora priestess or toserve in some way.Basically, this is reallyinteresting. Thisis a reallyinteresting storyhere that Iremembered as well.Actually, one of myguides, my spiritguides, he is anancient priest andhe showed me hisinitiation.So basically, youwent to the templeand you stayedthere for a whileto clean and bethere and study.You had a period oftime that was up totwo years in histime where youstudied themysteries as afoundation course,you would say.So you studied themysteries andafterwards youdecided, "I'mready. I want tonow takeinitiation."You had thisprocess where yourheart, is yourheart open toserving the divine?Is your heart opento serving the landand the people?Is your heart lightenough that you canbring the light tothe others?Or do you havethings to do toheal yourselffirst, heal yourheart as we say,heal the traumaticexperiences?Can you be a pureheart for this job?That was thequestion.What they had was abig ritual.So you hadbasicallyeverybody, all theteachers who weretaking part in thisinitiation,dressed as theenlightened beings,as the gods andgoddesses.They were wearingall the headdressand the clothes andthe regalia becausethey were saying,"It's not me. It'snot this person.I am now thisgoddess. I'mchanneling thisdivine guidance."And the initiatewould come thereand he would have apapyrus with adrawing of hisheart called Ib andthe name written inhieroglyphs.And the priestessof divine justice,Maat, she wouldhave the scales andshe would putthe papyrus,he would put thepapyrus, theinitiate, onthe scales.And she would takethe feather of herhead and put thefeather on theother scale.And if the scaleswere balanced, youwere accepted.And if the scaleswere not balanced,she would then giveyou a lot ofguidance about whatyou need to do,more spiritualpractice, morehealing, maybe goon a pilgrimage.And you could tryagain and you couldtry again and againand again.So my spirit guidesaid he tried many,many times andeventually he wasaccepted.And he describes, Idescribe in thesacred mysticism ofEgypt, all theprocess of hisinitiation and hispersonal processand how whathappened when hewas accepted, whathe felt, what hesaw, and thatsomething thatreally still bringstears to my eyeswhen I read it.It's very, verybeautiful. It'svery beautiful. Butan initiation isthe opening of adoor and is theopening of a doorinto the sacredpart of us.And that can be sotouching. And weneed to clear theego to be able tofeel that.Otherwise, our ego,I mean, title toit, you know,feeling thatentitlement or howgreat it will be.I will be aninitiate wearing itas a badge. That iswhat they weretrying to stophappening.But when we get allthat away, like myspirit guide had totry so many times,he said that day henever forgot.And then he wasactually able tobecome a highpriest himself. Buthe was like he wasa changed personafter this.It's very, verybeautiful. It'sdescribed in theSacred Mysticism of Egypt.Described in yourbook as how thegoddess Isis opensthe path tospiritual ascensionthrough bestowingaccess to theuniversal powercalled HEKA, whichyou earlierexplained.How can we connectwith Isis and askfor the gift?Isis has been myspirit guide for avery long time.And she opens thedoor to us. It's aninvitation that wemeet theseteachings of lightat some point inour life.Maybe if peoplehave an interest inancient Egypt,somehow they feelthat connection orthey read the bookand they feel thatconnection.But we feel thatcalling, thatinvitation. Now ourego can come andtake us away.But if we stay withthat inner, almostlike callingintuition, then thedoors open for us.So for me, thedoors opened. Manythings happened.But in 2006, I wentto the GreatPyramid. That'swhen the dooropened for me and Inever looked back.And I met Isis in acompletelydifferent way whereshe started toteaching me andgiving me all thismaterial, some ofwhich is in theSacred Mysticism of Egypt.If some of thereaders want toconnect with that,I would say callIsis with an openheart and say, OK,not for curiosity,but I really wishto step onto mypath of ascension.What the ascensionmeans in ancientEgypt, they calledit becoming theshining spirit.The word they usedwas Sahu. Sahumeans becoming theshining spirit thatwe arebeyond the body.But having thatexperience andembodying ourspirit fully whilewe're here, notwaiting to die tobe a spirit again,but to bring allthat essence andradiancein our body.So to make thiscommitment to sayto ourselves, Iwish to walk thepath of the heart.I wish to openmyself to theuniversalintelligence and tothe universal loveand power.May Isis or theenlightened ones,whoever we wish todedicate ourselvesto as our teacher,may they comeand help me.And that voice,when it comes fromthe heart, is goingto be answered.I really believethat because it hasbeen my experienceand it has been theexperience of manypeople whostudy with me.I'm seeing it allthe time. And thereare people whoreally come becausethey had a dream ofIsis or they foundin a meditation,they heard the nameor they just knowthat theyneed to come.They feel a callingfor spiritualgrowth. And that'swhat the book isabout as well,because I feelSacred Mysticism of Egyptis a transmissionof light.I wrote it throughso much help withIsis. See, she cameand brought thewords and what wentin there. So I hopeit will help.The end of Atlantisis also writtenabout in your book.All anyone has todo is turn on theTV or read anewspaper,and they will seethere are manysimilaritieswith the state ofour worldnow today.What would you saywas the key issuethat broughtAtlantis down,and how can weprevent anothercatastrophe?That is such agreat question.Thank you, Stan.What happened inAtlantis was thatAtlantiswas designedin the beginning tobe a place ofenlightenedgovernment.So it was themastersand teacherswho were the headsof state at thesame time.That was based on asystem of a lot ofspiritual practice.The people gotreally tired.The everyday peoplegot reallytired of that.And they said, "No,we want the powerto ourselves.We don't want tohear these old menand old women."And they withdrew.They left thepeople totheir faith.And they withdrew,and they left, they basicallyleft Atlantiswent elsewhere,created their ownschools inTibet, Peru,and Egypt, andother places wentundergroundas well.So I think what hashappenedhere in Atlantisis like a repeat ofthe human history.We're still livingand reliving thesame karmathat we arebasically stayingaway from anyspiritual work,spiritualdevelopment,personaldevelopment,evolution of ourconsciousness,and we are in thisfight and flight.We are continuouslybeing in that fightand flight.And then we'rebasically...There is thecorrupted mind, theconditioned mind,that is socorrupted that wethink, "OK, itdoesn't matter.Even if it's notright, I know it'snot right,but that's what theworld is."So we compromise somuch in order tomaintain away of living.So what Atlantissaws that is that theonly way to comeout of thisis to return backto this higherstate of being.The evolution ofconsciousness isthe only waywe can get outof thisfight and flight.Otherwise, we'rejust reliving.It's reallyreliving thesame karma.And that willbring, again,hopefully not thedestructionthat happened then,because that wassuch a hugedestruction.We don't know solittle of thatcivilisation nowthat was so mightyand strong andpowerful.But that's whathappens whensomething is notbased in the light.So I feelwhatever is...When we are notworking from ahigher plane indivine justice,whatever we arecreating cannot besustained.The karma willcatch us up.We'll think, "Yeah,I'm all powerful.I'm as a humanbeing. I can doeverything.I can now createlife. I can createall these things."And then,unfortunately,we'll find outthat, no, we arenot all powerful.And there are muchhigher powers therethat can destroythe way ofour life.Earth is saying,"OK, keep going,keep going,but then I cancreate a tsunami. Ican create anexplosion."And what you thinkyou have,you won't have,"Because I need toprotect all life.I can't justprotect thehuman beings."You are nowcreating so muchchaos that life isthreatened.So I think we canlearn that to bemorehumble, really,and grateful forall life, the giftof lifethat we have,and really cherishthat and saying,"Thank you,Mother Earth.Thank you. Let uslive in harmonywith each other."It is a verydifficult stepsaying, "How can wedo that?"And we start withourselves.As much aspossible, we startwith ourselves.And there arepeople nowawakeningand saying,"I want to live ina better world,and I want to dothe work that I'mnot anymore in myego or anger orcompetition.I want to find adifferent way."And that's myethos. That's theway I try to live.You've been toEgypt severaltimes, both in thislife and inpast incarnations andoffer guidedesotericpilgrimagesto Egypt.What with Egyptbeing such a vastland and home to asignificant numberof historicalancient sites,how do you go aboutdeciding whichsites to include inyour pilgrimages?As Fotoula, I sayI know nothing. Asmyself, I knownothing. So I waitfor an invite.This is how ithappens and all thepilgrimage I'vedone isthe same way.I love Egypt. If itwas possible, Iwould organize apilgrimagetomorrow, but Ihave to wait forthat invitation.So I have a dreamand in the dream,Isis comes, myspirit guide, thegoddess Isis, andshe says, right,you aregoing to Egypt.You're going to goand visit thissite. You're goingto start from hereand then you'regoing there andthere and there andthenending up there.And then she tellsme when to go andhow many people aregoing to come. Andshe says, now yougo andorganize this.So the first timethis happened wasfor my pilgrimagethat was inSeptember 2010.That was the firstone that I tookpeople with me. But you knowthat Nile cruise,it doesn'tspeak to us.And then I thoughtafter hearing itfrom two, threedifferent people, Ithought, OK, eathumble pie andorganize it again.So I took the Nilecruise out and thenpeople who had beenin Nile cruise,they said, Fotoula,you cannot doanything, anysacred work if youare part ofa big cruise.You know, everybodygoes out in thesights at the sametime. So, so manypeople and you havevery limited time.So maybe that's whyit was not meant tobe. I listen. I nowlisten very, verydiligently.The second triphappened in March2011. And that wasjust after therevolution.There was a hugerevolution in Egyptat the time. And Ithought, how willwe go there? And Isaid, we can't go.It's therevolution. And shesaid, no, it's theperfect time. Yougo there now. Andeverybody in thegroup said, we aregoing now.We are. Don'tcancel. Pleasedon't cancel. So wewent and it was themost amazing tripbecause there wasnobody there.It was just ourgroup. We werealone in thepyramids. We werealone bythe Sphinx.There was like theguards went awayand we could dohours of ceremonyand spiritual work.And there was justnobody there. So itwas absolutelyperfect. So I just listened.Listen very clearlywhere to go. And itworks. If I triedto put Nile cruisesby the back door,it wouldn't work.But it does work.So I have somefavorite sites.
