Using Your Sixth Senseto Transform Past Life Patterns.Carmen Turner Schott & Bernie Ashman,welcome to Paranormal Yakker.Thanks for having us. Thank you.The esoteric world has many branches,astrology being one of them. That's the branchto which you both gravitated.Could you Carmen & Bernie tell me whatwas there about the field of astrology thatdrew you so deeply into it?I first started studyingastrology was when I was 16.I grew up in the Midwest.I was not raised to believein these supernatural things,but I always was interestedin things that were different. & I had theseexperiences I could not explain.A short version is I wokeup in the middle of the night & I sawa glowing ball of light in my doorwaywhen I was 16. No one could explainthat to me. Even my mother saw it& she did not know what to say.After that, I grabbed every bookI could about aliens, UFOs, astrology,& learned that I was a Virgo.Started learning to do charts by hand.This was 1993. & I just realizedthis validates my experience& this is a powerful tool of self-awareness. & man, I wanna learneverything I can about astrology.& so I just started doing that& I've been doing it ever since.So that's kind of the short version for me.I went to a college in Florida, at theUniversity of Florida,& I was really interested in psychology,read different books about it.& I had a professor therewho was one of the leadersin humanistic psychology, Sidney Gerard.Somehow he got me reallythinking about symbols. & in 1973,I ran across a book by Dane Rudhyarcalled The Astrology of Personality,& I was completely hooked.I think what I love about astrology,what drew me into it,it has a way of defining us, not trying to say we have to be a certain way,but the symbolism in itcertainly gives different optionsfor our personality, our careers,just the kind of people we like to be with.I think the thing thatreally brought me into it,as I got into it in 1974, '75,I've done thousands ofcharts for people over the years.I've been in it a long time.What I thought was fascinating was the way it cuts through a lot of things.I'm not trying to saytraditional psychologythat there's anything wrong with it,but sometimes when I've worked with people,do charts for them,it seems like I was hitting quickerjust because of the energies in a chart.To me, it's just a veryvaluable tool to help people.& then I went out there& was able to really help peopleby just translating these symbols.It's a powerful language,it's a beautiful language,& sometimes it's not so easy tounderstand it at firstwhen people are trying to learn it.I was really grateful that Ipicked it up as fast as I did,but it still took somepractice to work with people.I guess my passion just got brought outbecause it just seemed toexpress me in my writingas I went on topublish books like Carmen,The Talks I've Done.It just seemed to bring everything togetherabout how the universe works.Each of you has written a numberof successful astrology books.What was the motivatingfactor about this subject matterin Astrology's Zodiac Archetypesthat brought you togetherto collaborate on the book?Bernie & I, we both love Carl Jung& astrology & psychology& transformation & healing.& we both are eighth house people, whichis all about transformation& healing & rebirth,past lives & all those things.We call Bernie the past life whisperer.That's what Bernie said with his book,he's able to tap into people's past lifepatterns & write about it & helpeach sign understand what they're learning& balancing & mastering inthis life, things that are connected topast lives. Our love of Carl Jung& the archetypes of each sign, theirstrengths, their personality traits.We wanted to bring together that in a basicway & then mix in the pastlife patterns with each of the archetypes.Bernie had already written a lot of booksabout this topic & we thought,let's just do a book together & merge it.& that's kind of what we did.I just kind of added my stuff to what hehad done & we kind of blended it& we got our book.What's exciting aboutwriting with Carmen on this book,it's that we wanted tobring a book to the publicwhere they wouldn't have to fightthrough the language of astrology.In other words, theycould put it to instant use.Carl Jung wrote a lot aboutthe collective unconscious,where these archetypes reside.They're very primitive instincts,but for us, we're modern astrologers.& for instance, like Aries,one of the archetypesfor that would be the hero.& we just wanted to show how,from a past life sense ofthese patterns for an Aries,whatever they are, it's not like we'retrapped in these patterns, but sometimeswe wanna move beyond them.We wanna transform them.So we showed how to do that in the book.It's a really straightforward book.Instead of having to justbe some kind of philosophythat you can't get your hands on,we'd bring a person rightinto the book very quickly.I think people will really enjoy it,but that's sort of myversion of what the book is like.Can you explain theimportance of astrology's rolein one's personal growth & development?None of us are perfect,& that's a big deal.We all came here, whether youbelieve in past lives or not,we're all here to learncertain things about ourselves.I think the beauty ofastrology is it shows different,you could say, challengeswe came here to transform.It doesn't mean we camehere to get stuck in them.We really wanted to come hereto go beyond, say one of the patternsI see in somebody's chart says,they have a real angry outburstbecause their adrenaline's really pumped.Maybe they are anAries or another fire sign.Maybe they're trying tolearn how to balance thatso that it can be assertiverather than having to alwayspush for their way.Astrology really doesshow in different wayshow to modify certain behaviors.Say I'm not assertive.Maybe I'm an Aries that'salways letting other peopletake advantage of me too much.In a person's chart, as an Aries,there's ways to get beyondthat, to really be who you are.Aries is all about identity, who I am.That's just one example, one sign.Each sign has particulartalent to transform anything.Sometimes certain signs get a bad rap,like Virgo or Scorpio.I'm not just trying to pick on those signs.My wife's a Gemini & sometimes she'll go,Why do they always haveto say a Gemini is shallow?We're deep thinkers.The true astrology, the best,has an evolutionary tone to it.We want to evolve.We want to become who we are, basically.Maybe we don't have to change the world,but we want to be happyinside of our own body.We want to know who we are.So I think that's the beautyof the kind of workCarmen & I are doing together.In a way, we're simplifying astrologywithout making it soundlike it's trite or silly.We still don't have that depthin what we're presenting to people,but we want to make it palatableso you can just take it in, enjoy it,& move on with your life.That's basically what I do for peoplewhen I do a personalsession, to tell you the truth.For those who may not be totallyknowledgeable about birth charts,can you tell me exactlywhat is a birth chart?A birth chart is setfor the month, day, & year ofyour birth, you're born, the birth time,longitudinal & latitude where you're born.It sets up this wheelwhere the planets sit in signs& then there's these12 astrological houses.The planets are like how we direct action.The signs describe howwe might go about it.The houses are like act one, scene one,where our life takesplace with relationships,careers, how we communicate,how we want to earn a living,all this kind of stuff.I describe it as a blueprint about us.It shows what's going on within us,how we might want toexternalize those themesin all different sorts of ways.What I found reallyfascinating about astrology is,even if you have twopeople that have similar charts,there's so many differentways that they might act it out.We're not stuck with oneparticular way of doing it.But a birth chart is like amap of what we came here to do.It describes in many different wayshow we might go aboutachieving peace of mind,how we might find our true passion in life,how we might find thatsoulmate we're looking for,all different sorts ofthings, past life things.They're spelled out in a birth chartif you know how to interpret them.That's just a little bit.The way I describe it is thatthe moment time, place, of yourbirth, when you're looking up at the skyfrom earth, we take apicture of the sky at thatmoment time, place of birth& it's an energy in the sky, allthe planets in a certain starconstellation, which are one of the12 zodiac signs, & all ofthe planets in a certain areaof the sky, which we break into12 sections like a pie. We take a pictureof the sky & we putit on a piece of paper.It's a wheel. It's symbols.The planets have symbols, the signs havesymbols, & they're all in oneof the 12 houses, which rule the differentareas of life where weexpress ourselves career, home, family,marriage, partnership,how we make money, how we get afulfillment & happiness.All these maps of the soul,I call them can be slightly differentbecause you take a picture ofthe sky & the moment time, place of birthfor twins, they're born maybe30 minutes apart.Tne Moon sign can change every2 to 3 days. That's whythat Moon sign dependent onthe time & place of birth couldswitch into a new sign for one of thosetwins. So they'll havevery different emotional natures.Then sometimes they haveidentical charts. But thenpeople often ask, well, how isthat the same chart, they'reborn the same time, they'retwins. Well, we bring past life lessons inour soul has learning& our soul is different thaneverybody else's soul. That'swhy the chart is very similar,but we bring our own past lifepatterns & lessons into thislife. That's why everyone alwaysasked me about twins, becausethey're born really so closethere. It can change. The rising signchanges signs every two hours.I mean, it really can make adifference when you'reborn knowing the time isimportant, because that's howwe'll get an accurate chart ofwhere all the planets are& what house they're in.& that is where we can say, Oh, this iswhere this energy expresses inthe world. The natal chart orbirth chart never changes.That's your mission. That'syour personality. That's how you think,how you love, how you feel,your traits, your strengths,your weaknesses, it's who youare, & it doesn't change.There's many different types ofcharts, which you know, Bernie& I could talk about that aredifferent charts that we use to help seewhat's impacting you forthe next few years or day to day those aretransit charts. That'salways fun to do. & thenthere's relationship chartswhere you can take your chart with yourpartner's chart & youput it on top of each other,we call it synastry charts.& then we analyze how you affecteach other for good & bad& who maybe likes who morewho's driving somebody nuts you cansee all of these challenges& strengths of why you'reattracted to certain people why you maystruggle with certainpeople & relationshipsbased on how you show love how youcommunicate your main trait can be verycompatible & sometimesa little bit challenging with certainpeople. That's what weuse it for is a tool ofpersonality to validate what youalready know about yourself. So I knowBernie probably feels thesame way every time I do achart I'm just validating whatpeople know about themselves.I did a chart today & she said,Wow, that's me & like, & how do youknow this? I'm like,it's your chart, it's energy.Astrology to me is energy.& we have all 12 signs in ourchart somewhere in that birth wheel,that we can harness.We have all 12 archetypes in ourbook that we can harness. Ifwe want to be more like an Arieshero warrior, we can look& see where's Aries on the wheelwhen we're born, what houseis it on, we can tap into thatenergy. We can really learnfrom all 12 archetypes 12 zodiac signs.I said it's perfect for whatI'm going to be asking it out.If at all possible,can you give a brief synopsisof the 12 Sun signs & their archetypes?Aries, the archetype for that is the hero,which makes a lot of sense in a way,because it's a very spontaneous fire sign.The 2nd one, Taurus. Carl Jung defined itas a regular person. Taurus is an earthsign. It's a stabilizing force, earth.& it's like when somebody says, well,what you see, what you see is what you'rereally getting from me.Taurus is a peaceful sign in a lot of ways.Now, something may alter that, you know,when you get a whole chart done.Gemini, Jung had an archetype called theJester, & we felt that was a good one tomatch with Gemini, because Gemini has somany different ways to communicate.They're a powerful perception,communication sign. & they have a way ofputting things into pictures or words.& sometimes they're very humorous, theway they do it. So we went with the Jesteron that. The 4th one was pretty obvious.The caregiver, we assigned to the signCancer, because the nurturing force of theuniverse in all of us, if we have that, isgoing to come through the sign Cancer.The planet connected to Cancer is the Moon.The caregiver, wanting tobe protective of our friends.It's like that protective element in usthat wants to care for ourpets, our plants, our people.The fifth one, the artist, we assigned toLeo because of the Leo, & number five,the fifth sign has to do with selfexpression & creativity.You're going to make a dream come first,come alive. You have to really believe init. Leo is willpower,willing something to happen.& also the artist is really justcreativity that comes outof Leo. So we went with that.Sage, the sixth one, we put it with Virgobecause there is something about Virgothat knows how to sum things up for people.It's funny, my father was a Virgo & I wasthis fiery kid, realistic,Sagittarian, I am, & I have a lot ofPisces in my chart, but there was somethingphilosophical about him. He was a Virgo.I didn't see it right away until I got alittle bit older that I could appreciateit. He had kind of a calming influence.You don't have to do it all at once.Each day is important. If you make amistake one day, you can make up for thenext. Or if you mess up aweek, you can come up later.There's just something practical& pragmatic about the signVirgo. So we put Sage with Virgo.The seventh sign is Libra.Libra is always known to be associatedwith partnership & love relationship.They're the lover archetype.They rule the seventh house.So it's all about compromise & justice& equality & fairness.But they also love tobeauty & love & creativity.You know, they're the lover.& then Scorpio is always known to be amysterious sign, deep & transformative& secretive & private & healing.So they're the magician associated withdeath & rebirth,bringing things to life & magic.Scorpios are a powerful water sign that istransformative type of a sign.A lot of them are interested in psychology,helping people withtheir problems & astrology& all these things.Then we have the explorer archetype, whichis definitely Sagittarius. The traveler, the wanderer, archetype seeker, theexplorer, going to faraway foreign countries& lands & learning different languages& different religions.All of those exploration things of Sage.They're the optimist.Sage's are fire.They like to be active & to roam.Then we have Capricorn, which is alwaysknown to be responsible & kind of as anearth sign, very strict& very into order & rules.So they're the ruler of the archetype.They like to make the rules.They like to have certain practical,realistic goals to achieve.They're the boss, the leader, thepolitician, the ruler.Those are kind of thearchetype names for Capricorn.They rule career, the public eye,recognition, achievement inastrology, the 10th house.That really fits.& then with Aquarius, they're known to bethe outlaw, the rebel, the revolutionary,the misfit, because they're innovative.They're an air sign,but they're ruled by Uranus.So they're all about being different,thinking different, being non-traditional.What's an outlaw?Well, they go against what status quo theyrebel, kind of question authority.Why do we have to do it that way?Very much free-spirited, likes theirfreedom & independence.Doesn't want to be tied down.It wants to be their unique self.That's Aquarius.& then Pisces endsthe Zodiac, the 12th sign.& they are really deeply spiritual,idealistic, imaginative, but are verytrusting, in my opinion.& so we call them the innocent,the innocent, the dreamer.Pisces are associated with the 12th house,dreams & sleep & imagination & art,creativity, but also spirituality.Having a spiritual beliefsystem is a Pisces thing.Having faith in somethinghigher & bigger than themselves.The collective unconscious, meditation,astrology, all these things are very, veryinteresting for a Pisces.They also compassionate.They feel people's pain.They're very kind.That's where they getthe innocent archetype.They're very trusting.They can get hurt because of that.So they need to learn to have boundariesto see people with normal glasses, not rosecolored glasses on.Those are the last six there& their archetype energies.How does astrology show our past lifetimes?When you get a chart done, the last bookthe two of us published came out to thesame publisher O-Books in London calledAstrology's Magical Nodes of the Moon.The nodes of the Moon, they're oppositeeach other in a chart. There's one lookslike a pair of headphones like you have onright side up headphones. That's the northnode of the Moon. The south nodeis like an upside down pair ofheadphones. They're two symbols. They playoff of each other in a person's chart.The north node is said to represent whatwe've come here to do like a new theme ofsome sort. The south node is said torepresent past life power of some sort.What we hope is it doesn't have so muchpower over us that we can'tbreak out of it. So it's a transformativeenergy if we tune into it. That's the mainthing. For instance, I'm aNorth node in Taurus person.That's where I get my Taurus energythrough the North node. That's what I saidabout earlier. It's a stabilizing energy.I have the South node in Scorpio, which canbe pretty intense when I'mwriting I'm very intensethere's something happens to me. I reallyget into it. Scorpio has to do with depthgoing into the deepest part of life.It's a very psychological energy.What you don't want to do in Scorpio iscreate a crisis just to create one. I tellpeople that if they have nodes like mine.Want to balance it because sometimes wewant to disrupt justto disrupt your Scorpio.& there's not necessarily anything wrongwith that. But if you're doing it too much,you kind of drain other people & youdrain yourself. So the main thing isWith these opposites. They're reallyimportant. That's usually the first thingI look at the nodes of the Moon.If you get a whole chart done. We weretalking about the 12 houses.The 12th house of a chart. I'll keep itsimple. It's like the mothership of pastlives. It's where the're emanatingfrom in the chart. It's like a heartbeat in the chart. Whether you have any planets in there or not there's different ways to interpret. We all have a 12th house.This is that part is we were talking aboutthis based on the birth time, month, day& year, longitude & latitude, you getthe wheel done. That'sgoing to give you some.There's certain planets like Saturn.Sometimes Saturn gets a bad rap. It usedto be called the karmic task master.There's a way to really interpret that orno to find out if you're going to begrounded that planet is likean anchor to get something done.It's time management is what Saturn is.It's defining ourselves.But sometimes I'm probably dating myselfhere, but I used to have vinyl records& they'd have a scratch in them. & everytime that turntable, we go around& hit that scratch.That's how Saturn can be inside of us. It'strying to tell us something. Maybe we'redoing something wrong thatwe came here to get right.Saturn can be too controlling. Maybe it'ssaying laugh a little bit. You don't haveto control people. You don't have to be aworkaholic. You can let up a little bit.Make time for some pleasure.This is Saturn kind of thing.One other thing is Pluto. Pluto is rebirthin a lot of ways in transformation.Sometimes it gets a bad rap too.Growth comes a lot of times through Plutoin a chart. It's like we find the deepestpart of ourselves. It's our passion reallyfor life. It's a wonderful thing. It canjust be our passionateway of expressing ourselves.But the nodes of the Moon are the great wayto start with. That's why we wrote a wholebook on it. We wanted to show the past lifepatterns associated with those opposites& how to transform.Just through that, you can tell there's anawful lot in a chart. It's like a vastecosystem. Sometimes peopleshow pictures of the brain.& we know very little about the brain. It'swhat most neurologists say. Sometimesyou have to find the right wiring in a brainif you're going to help somebodywhen you're operating on them.Well, what a chart does is that blueprint. It shows where a lot of our wiring is.What we can tap into. How we cantransform through it. We've used the wordtransform a lot in this interview.But a lot of times that's what it takes. Welive in 2025. This has been an evolutionaryyear for my clients. I can't tell you howmany people I've seen that wanted tomake that next step to change something.It doesn't mean they aren't good people.They just want to tweak something.& sometimes that's what this is all about.Just making a mild shift.Marianne Williamson. I bought one of herbooks. I wanted to knowwhat she meant by a miracle.& she had a very simple definition.She called it an altered perception.& very much of the time is what a chart shows. How to get that altered perception. How to just change it a little bit.To maybe see a little bit clearer whenyou're trying to look for a clearerperception of your life.Each pair is here to help us balance& learn a special lessons.Aries & Libra nodes of theMoon for past lives & our soul mission.I call these the nodes of relationship karma.Those are just basic things here. TaurusScorpio nodes. I find theseare the nodes of transformation,healing, forgiveness, letting go.A lot of change when you have thosenodes, you have to learn tolet go & forgive & heal. & GeminiSagittarius nodes are the nodes ofknowledge. They love tolearn & communicate & explore indifferent ways. & thenCancer Capricorn nodes, I callthese the nodes of family karma. Learningto balance home & familywith your work & career.Learning karma with your parents, yourgrandparents, your kids, your husband,your responsibilities withfamilies, family karma. Leo & Aquarius,I find, you know, these arethe nodes of self-expression,creativity, being unique, finding your wayin the world & doingsomething that is self-expressionin some way. Having fun, pleasure,creativity, innovation.& then the Virgo Pisces nodes arethe nodes, I call these the nodes ofservice. Practical service& spiritual service. Learningto balance those. Being idealistic withbeing realistic& practical & learning to be ofservice in those ways & balancing those.So those are the 12& each sign has a pair or apolar opposite. Like Bernie was saying,the North node is where wedon't really feel comfortablewhen we're first starting out & we'rehere to start moving towardsthat energy & embracing it& balancing it out with our South node,which is our past lifetimepatterns & energies. Thingswe've already mastered. We feel cozy& comfortable in the South nodeof the Moon because that's whereour soul's already mastered & bend& strengths. Also healingnodes. Things we need to heal.& as we get into the north node, we'rehere just to find a balancebetween both & be comfortabledoing both. That's the past lives.That's really a lot about pastlives in our chart has to do withthose nodes & those signs, strengths& weaknesses& learning. & then what housethe nodes are in is the area of life we'relearning to master& learning to move towards.If your north node's in the 7th house ofmarriage & partnership& your South nodes in the firsthouse, that means you're learning to let go of being self-reliant& independent & allowyourself to have commitment& relationship. Allow yourself tocompromise & rely on others & getcomfortable with that. You don't haveto do everything on your own.You're kind of balancingthat as you look at each house pair. Youcan see the learning that you have frompast lives in this life.Now when it comes to pastlives, I'm curious to know,do we all indeed have past livesor are there certainsouls who arrived there& this is their first time around?When I first got into astrology,I don't know why thishappened because it was early on.I started looking at charts& I really got the feeling quickly.I wasn't looking at one lifetime.I was looking at severallifetimes a person had.Here's what I tell a personwhen I'm working one-to-one with them.Usually there are certain themesthey really came inhere to get clear about.There's a connection to maybe 6 lifetimesthat they did this pattern& they're trying to get past it.It doesn't mean theymight've had hundreds of lives,but it might only be six or seventhat they did this pattern & a group.It's like a set of them.Here's the key.If you transform it in this life,it corrects the whole thing.It's not like it only correctsone of those lifetimesconnected to this life.I haven't met anybody yetthat's here for the first time.I'm not trying to say that it's impossible.You actually asked a questionI've never heard anybody ask,good for you. It's a good question though.I've never run into that.Maybe I attract peoplewho have had several lives.It's possible.I know I've knocked aroundquite a bit, past life wise.I've always run into people like this,they've had many different lives.The interesting thing is though, at times,I'll tell a person,it doesn't mean you werelike this in every lifetime,but there were six in particularwhere you really struggled with this theme.It could be three.It might be eight.It just seems to hit me.I'm very intuitive.It just seems to hitme about how many timessomebody has gone throughthe same thing. & you can tellsomebody is just tired of it.They're exhausted from it.Say somebody keepsgetting the same type of,into the same type of relationship& they're trying to break a pattern.Maybe they get addicted to a personwho's not good for them.& they give up on that.But then they find themselveswith the same type ofperson all over again.They're trying to break the pattern.& sometimes it isn't a past life pattern.When I look closely at a chart,I can tell it's somethingthat they really have wantedto conquer in this particular lifetime.It doesn't matter how many timesa person has done the pattern.If you can nip it in the bud this time,it set you free.That's the beauty of it all.& I think that's the healing energyof even in any kind ofcounseling situation,whatever a person picks to help them.in astrology it's the same thing.People just feel so relievedwhen they get out of a particular pattern.Say somebody's got a gambling problem.They take one risk after another& it's caused problems with their familybecause they can't stop gambling.Maybe they've had that pattern before,past life-wise, they go to the cliff,they always wanna be near the cliff& they should back up a little bit.They don't need to keepbeing so near the cliff,they fall over.Sometimes they really just need to sensehow to break out of that.That's what's really, really pretty coolabout astrology I've always felt.The answer is in a chart.It doesn't meansomebody's gonna transform itjust overnight.It might take a lot ofpractice to get good at it.Just like if you'regonna be good in any sport,usually you have to really work at itor any profession, whatever it is.You asked a good question.I would just say in my own work,I've seen people really with multiple livesIt's not a questionof good astrological signsor bad astrological signs.The universe works through all of them.There's power in eachastrological sign to transform.If you get a chart done, you're gonna findthere's three main components in it.The Sun, the Moon, & what's called therising sign, the ascendant.That's the sign on the first house.On the eastern horizon, when you're born,there's a sign that's symbolizedon the first house of a chart.That's your persona, your identity sign.Your personal style.The Moon says a lot about our instincts,our intuition, ouremotional needs, thiskind of thing.The Sun is like our ego, ourego strength, our willpower.So your first, middle, & last namesof your astrological identity,it's really good to know those three evenbecause they really help you tune into who you are.They're not the wholepackage, but they're a beginning.& I usually go over that with somebodyif they get their chartdone for the first time,in particular.Do you believe people canremember their past lives?& if they can, how would you recommendthey go about recalling it?Some people actually go & have a pastlife regression done.I had that done once.It was quite a experience.It was many years ago.What I find veryinteresting about materialto know how to changesomething when you find out.It's just like having theknowledge, the information.What would you want to do with it?I'll go over a pastlife pattern with somebody& you can tellthey've already conquered it.They're clear.They don't even want togo near that thing again.It would trouble them being stuck in it.But I'll bring anotherone up & they'll go,that's the other onethat I'm really dealing withthat I want to findout how to deal with it.& they said, they'll talk it to me.They said, you've expressedin a way that makes more sensethan the way I'm going over & in my headthat it's actually possibleto figure a way through this.Sometimes it's just that wedon't want to beat ourselves upover this.It doesn't mean we're bad peoplebecause we have a pastlife pattern of some sort or something we're trying to work through.But sometimes it really helps to knowwhat we're dealing with.That's the main thing,to bring it to the surface.A lot of myclients want to know thatthey're interested in pastlife patterns, past life themes.It's not all they want to know,but they have other questionsfor sure about other things.But our books have focused on that.So that's why we'retalking something about it today.Does everyone have a sixth sense& are certain signs moreintuitive than other signs?I believe everybody has a sixth sense,but everybody doesn't do it the same way,or it doesn't come through the same way.There are some signs, specificallywater signs like Pisces, Cancer,& Scorpio that they may have a certainsixth sense that is more a tie to emotion.Other signs like air signs, their sixthsense can come through insight orthoughts or images in their mind.Yes, I believe we all have a gut instinct.I guess I call it kind of a soul survivalinstinct, I that are skepticsthat don't reallybelieve in all these things.I always say the quickest way to get askeptic not to be one is to do theirbirth chart, because then they're like, howdid you know, how did you know that?How did they, & they, & it's justvalidating what they know aboutthemselves.That's why it's so powerful.I'll tell people, oh, Hey, you actually arevery intuitive & you really need totrust your gut instinct.& they're like, yeah, I always doubtmyself, but then I'm always know I'mright when I feel something, you know,I try to help different people tap into thatbecause not a lot of us are raised.I know I wasn't to listen to my intuition& I always have these sixth sensefeelings or these awareness of things or afeeling something was going to happen& nobody could explain it to me.& they saw what's your imagination, butreally know it's actually like it saves us.It's our inner voice.I feel like it's our spirit talking to us.Sometimes it could be our spirit guides orangels talking to us to give us insight.Yes, I believe we all have six senses.I believe some signs have alittle bit more than others.& then I also believeyou can learn to develop.You can take classes & learn to developyour sixth sense, your psychicabilities to do meditation & yoga &breathing exercises & art & creativity.There's lots of ways to tapinto your psychic abilities.I guess you could say.How can studying astrology helpmy viewers & what are some keyinsights you would likethe audience to know aboutastrology that they might not know?Astrology is even in the Bible.It's mentioned in the Bible several times,the fixed signs of the Zodiacor in the book of Revelation.There's astrology since ancient times.A lot of people thinkastronomy existed before astrology,but it didn't.Astrology was aroundbefore astronomy, really.I always say that.A lot of people are really surprised whenthey get a chart done for the first time.They had no idea what it could do.Some people thought it could do it,but they were still surprised.To find out more about themselves, moreabout maybe what theircareer possibilities could be.I would just say that it'slike a really old psychology.One guy I know, an astrologer, called itthe oldest form of psychotherapy.He was probably right.It just goes back centuries,& other civilizations used it.They say Western astrology, that Carmen& I practice, started around 300 BC.One that they use inIndia started about 1500 BC.What we've done though is just kind ofbring it into modern times.So it can be translated in away for people to make use of it.It's a practical language.I'm pretty pragmatic.I like to put\ something touse if I'm going to learn it.It can be pragmatic.It's very psychological.It can show how tobring out your intuition.It's hard to label it really, becausethere's a lot ofdifferent ways it can be used.My wife said one time, if I keep writing,this was years ago,people are going to copyyour style.Do you really want that to happen?I said, no they won't.Because if you're going to become anastrologer, you haveto find your own style.Otherwise people aregoing to think it's not real.You may learn through a few books thatCarmen & I havewritten, but sooner or later youhave to really do the work.Astrology in a way shows people really alot about their ownidentity, if they want toknow that.We all came here to learn something,to my opinion, into a lifetime.On the soul level, I've told people thatwe'll get a vision ofwhat we might be coming into do, & we might have taken a deepbreath on that soul level.Maybe this was going to be a lifetimewhere we were going to have todo a lot of transforming,but maybe not.There's so much said about karma.Sometimes it's over said,because when you come right down to it,everybody wants tofind a sense of happiness, a sense ofbelonging, a sense ofinner peace, something to do inthe world that makes you feel good.A chart covers all that.It really does, I'm not making that up.It's all in there.It helped me walk a better path,& I've helped, I knowCarmen has too, we've justhelped a lot of people find just a moremeaningful path at times.It doesn't mean they're not smart.They're not creative.But there's always sometimes there's just a missingpiece that when you get a chart done,when you talk about insight,there's an insightin a chart just sitting thereto be tapped into.It's a beautiful
