Friends Of Dorothy
Step back in time 40 years ago to a sitcom that puts the 'Queer' well and truly into Queertopia! Mikey and Steph want to create a safe haven for their own 'kind' but get more than they bargained for, when they advertise for an 'alternative' flatmate. Their mission: An All Friends of Dorothy household.
The series has a wonderfully lively and talented cast. Declan Clifford and Tessa Neilson play 'Mikey' and 'Steph', respectively, and River Stevens and Riley Nottingham are 'Simon' and 'William'. In the role of 'Viv' is Martine Halliday, and the voice of the 'Storyteller' is that of Joanna Halliday. (no relation to Martine!)
The Podcasts are recorded at Big Ears Audio in Melbourne, Australia by Tony Lazzaro and Adrian Ricciotti. Content is also recorded at Real Voice LA by Mike DeLay. The songs featured in the series are composed and performed by Barry Michael.
'Friends Of Dorothy' is Written, Directed, Produced and Edited by David Rector.
Series 1 has 12 episodes.

Friends Of Dorothy: MAKING FUNNY: Turning The Tables
The final instalment in the 'One To One' series of dialogues in the 'Friends Of Dorothy: Making Funny' franchise. It is called 'Turning The Tables' and each of the 5 brilliant members of the acting ensemble from the retro sitcom podcast asks Writer/Director a question; without notice or warning for him to answer! It is an illuminating; revealing and enjoyable piece of interplay between the performers and the creator of the series.
