Philippians 2:19-21 - But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you shortly, that I also may be encouraged when I know your state. For I have no one like-minded, who will sincerely care for your state. For all seek their own, not the things which are of Christ Jesus.

When you think of characteristics that you need to build into your life, when you think about things that God would want you to be that would benefit others, can I recommend this one? Paul says concerning Timothy that he desired to send Timothy shortly to the church at Philippi for this reason: For I have no one like-minded who will sincerely care for your state. He's saying of all the people who are my companions, of all the people who are with me, Timothy, I'm sending to you because he is so much like me--he cares for you. Do you care for others? Do you think about their situation and do you work with them wherever they are? Let's be Timothy in our lives.
