Description:

The world might mistakenly think that it knows you, but if you love God, it is wrong.

Scripture:

1 John 3:1 - Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

Transcript:

And now admonition brought to you by the Collierville Church of Christ.

Have you ever been approached by someone who didn't know you and they thought they did? Came up to you and said, hi, good to see you, and you're thinking, who? Who is this person? The world's like that for a Christian. I'll not that we don't know people personally, but first John Chapter three verse one says, behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us that we should be called the children of God. Therefore, the world does not know us because it did not know him. Jesus Christ was an anomaly to the world. He was a contrast to the world. They didn't understand them. They didn't want to understand him. They rejected him and Jesus said, they hated me and they'll hate you too. May I encourage you, be a stranger to the world in your daily life.
