Hello, everyone. Welcome to another episode of the Middle of the Fire podcast. I am Steve, and once again, I have my good friend Johnny Garcia sitting across from me. It's time for part two of uh Adventures in Bangladesh. Should I should I title this this podcast Adventures in Bangladesh or the old Adventures in Odyssey? I'll put a really cool uh uh artwork to go with the episode to look like Indiana Jones. All right, so in part one, we were talking about um we we we were going to get into the uh four churches that you had established over in Bangladesh. However, I got kind of distracted by miracles, signs, and wonders, which are wonderful. I just gotta hear those stories, you know. So anyway. Um so I'd like you to go ahead and dive into those different churches that you were talking about, and um and we'll go from there. Yeah, for sure. So go ahead, take it away, buddy. So uh yeah, I think where where we had left off before was in 23, 24, just kind of going in everywhere and working um to very many several areas, target areas closest to our hearts. We have lots of Bible studies, and um, and so we were able to plant that first church in um in Uttara in Dhaka in 2024. And so um tremendous church. We had partnered with the valedictorian. It's very important, um, you know, Brother Corbin, Sister Corbin have kind of led us in that direction of wanting to partner with the Bangladeshi national team and try to always do it because there's so much more that they can do that we can do, and we easily adopted that. And so the Bible school valedictorian, we partnered with him and started uh by uh Bible study in his area, and that's what led to the Uttar church being planted, our very first one, and uh and that was in 2024, and so uh it started off tremendously. I remember one service we had, at least two or three Muslim visitors on our launch service. I think it was already we were already doing our first service. Oh, wow. And she came in and she was hesitant and she was walking with the limp, and I watched it. And I was like, Okay. I said, God, you know what you're doing. We're praying for Muslims, we're praying for these churches to be established. And at the end of service, we prayed, people were being touched, God was just moving in a mighty way. And then at the end I said, Does anybody need a prayer? She was shy. But at the same time, she knew that there was another Muslim man in the room, and so that's that's problematic that can be problematic sometimes, depending on where you're at in the world. And why would that be problematic? Um, well, there are Muslims in a Christian church, first of all, and she's a woman, and so that can be problematic as well. Um so well, how do I word this? She's a woman. And uh majority of the time in traditional Muslim majority nations or Islamic nations, you know, they're full burqa, full niqab. Okay, yeah, you know, there's no talking to the other gender if you're married, you know, things like that. There's strict rules, unfortunately. And so, but they're also where they were in a Christian church, and it doesn't take much for a person to become hostile, you know, not necessarily in Bangladesh all the time. Bangladesh is a it's a very free, open, liberal country, and so we're grateful for that. But you all you you know, you'll have situations where people will get upset, and uh, and so you can tell she was timid. And I was I could see the you know his face is like, oh, what's going on? You know, he's watching. But she came up and I said, I'm gonna pray for you. I see you're limping in some pain, you hurt yourself. She said, Yeah. And I said, Do you believe Jesus can heal you? And she hesitated again, again, knowing that she's a Muslim, a practicing Muslim, uh, to a certain degree, and understanding the audience that was around us. And finally, she said yes. I said, I'm just gonna pray. And in the name of Jesus, I don't even remember uh laying my hands. I don't know if I did or not, I can't remember, but in the name of Jesus right now, and the whole room began to erupt in prayer. My wife was there, or uh uh Valedictoria and some of the other believers were there. And and I said, All right. I said, I want you to I want you to walk. And uh she looked at me funny, she didn't feel anything different. She's and she said, Okay. She started walking. And all of a sudden the the Christians that were there with us, the people that were there in the service who knew her, you know, they began clapping and praising God. She didn't really notice. Um but I knew right away she was no longer limping. She had a strong limp. Yeah, whatever she injured herself, however, she was she was limping, she wasn't limping no more. She was looking for the pain. She didn't realize she was walking straight. And then it hit her. The pain is gone, and I'm walking straight. And she broke out in tears and she ran out. Oh, wow. She ran out into the kitchen on the floor, put her face to the floor as they do in Islam and began to pray, give thanks to Allah, to whatever. She just began to give thanks, and we just began to praise God in the other room. I you know, they wanted to chase after. I said, No, no, give her some time. Yeah, exactly. And she came back, you could tell, just something had happened. And I said, Where's the pain? She says, It's gone. And I said, I said, Who healed you today? And she looked me in the eye and said, Today Jesus has healed me. Praise the Lord. Come on, man. Man, come on. And so that's how we, you know, and that's how that one kind of launched. So we were excited about the Uttara church. And so fast, you know, during that whole time, we had been praying also, and God had, as we were going everywhere, you know, God had given us a word at apostolic conference, and he said, You're gonna plant seeds that you won't see the harvest of. And so that can be taken many different ways. But we dived into prayer and just began to cast seeds everywhere. We understood God. There are other missionaries here, there are other ministers, other pastors, uh, the national team. There are, you know, we're gonna see a harvest. It doesn't have to be by us. And so we just went everywhere. We went to Narwa, to Norwah, we went to Nutan Bazar, we went to Mirpur, we went to Shemuli, we went everywhere, all these areas that you have no idea where. Yeah, sounds good. Smithvale, Cookvale, Murphy's borough, Waterput, there we go. There we go. And so we're going everywhere and just doing Bible studies, prayer walks, and all kinds of stuff, and just really praying seeds, praying seeds, praying seeds. And and uh God began to deal with us and he started to give us dreams and visions. Oh, nice of people. And he began to show us people that we were gonna meet, that were gonna be catalysts. He showed us this mother and her son, the mother was sick, and then when we prayed for her, the son was gonna be see, he was gonna see the hand of God, and he was gonna see Jesus was real, and that was gonna lead to a revival. You know, we haven't yet found that person, but we know that's there. He showed us another person that was gonna be the key to an Islamic community that was gonna allow us to see revival amongst our Muslim neighbors. Wow. And so we, you know, he showed us that person as well, and then he showed us another person of a man, an educated man that would be another person that God would use to lead us into a revival in the Dhaka district. And so uh, you know, we just prayed and we fasted and we went into work. We finished our term and came back to the States. And when we came back again, the our uh supervising missionaries, the Corbyn, said, Hey, you guys are gonna be here by yourself, which was a complete privilege and an honor. And I thank them for that opportunity. We learned lots of things being there by ourselves this year, and they trusted us enough. And so we we are grateful for that. And they let us go. They said, Go continue with the 10 and 1, and let's see what what God's gonna do this year. And so we did. We continued, and um, you know, we found that man. Uh he had already he had already come. And so that man that got to show does we found him and we went to work. We uh our general secretary of the pastor team there in the capital district, uh, we just began to run all together, and God began to lead us. And so in May, we arrived in March. In May, we held the service in Shripur for the very first time. And they're gonna celebrate this month. They're one year since that was since that was started. So that church was official, you know, obviously last year was a it was officially launched, and and we went through the Bible study phase, the house church phase, church plant phase. We got a building, they tore down walls, put everything in. They just had 46 people, which is a record, I believe, um, you know, since the beginning of the year that it was officially pushed and launched, outside of home church status, 46 people, which was a record. They had like 45 children, uh, in the Sun of Hindus, Muslim children all coming. And we knew it. We knew it. We knew that that man um who's in there right now, who's a minister, um, he's also in our Bible school. So he's getting trained up double as experience and in the word, and we knew that it would be it would be it would grow. And we just needed, we just needed somebody faithful to put in there, and then right now that's what's happening. And so it's growing, it's growing, and it's gonna be a powerhouse. I mean, there's already conversations before I left of other churches branching off in other areas because it's that's just one neighborhood. We have people in two other areas of Shripur. They they come that if we had the if we wanted to, and God opened the door, which the doors are open already, we would be able to see churches planted easily. And so um, man, it's just tremendous stuff. So they're gonna celebrate. And then we had a church at Newton Bazaar. That one's a house church, still in house church level. God is doing things there, and then as well as um the Vatra Church and um the Saitabad church. So God just allowed us really to just go in and and have see that revival and continue it in revival. And so, man, each one of those, the Saitabad Church is a special church, it is a Telugru, the Telugru people, so it's a completely different language from Bangla. Oh, really? So they speak Bangla, they understand Bangla, but their main language is Telugru. So that one is very special. Um, seeing that done. And so tremendous church there that we were able to connect with and bring them in and and just see that church officially launched as a UPC church in the Dhaka. So that's more towards old Dhaka, that's our farthest south church. And so I'm excited for what's happening there. They've already got women's meetings, they've got Bible studies, they've got right now, they've got children's and youth services going on. I mean, they're just they're established. Yeah, they're marching forward. That's fantastic. They're marching forward. And then the Vatra Church, um, which is neighboring to the Newton Bazaar Church. Um, you know, we were we came in there, we did some Christmas program, we had like 200 people come in, you know, which Christmas attendance is always higher, but that was our, you know, we were able to really start off and see what God was going to give us. And so that was phenomenal. And then we had to do the work. We had to do the work. We're not, we're not afraid. Uh Brother Garcia, we're not, we're not afraid. The missions team is not afraid to go in there and do the work. And so it took time, and uh, we just continue to see faithfulness. We had to re-engage the the area. The area knew there was a church there and it went away. Now we had come in and we started hosting services and all this. And the people now had to be they had to be brought in. And so um that's what primarily is going on right now. And so just tremendous works, all four of these churches that God um really put put in before us for us to be able to see launched, and um, you know, something that was big for us before we left. So starting in January, we told our general secretary, who was there with us the whole time we while our the missions team was in America, you know, we told them, hey, we want to not only just plant the churches, we want to see them flowing in some things. And so we were given the green light to begin to launch the children's ministry, the youth ministry, the women's ministry. So Vataro was our first one. Side of already had them going. We were able to get them. They they didn't need any assistance with that. And Vatra, we launched a first women's ministry meeting, monthly meeting, and that went phenomenal. My wife and and some of the other ladies led that, and it was tremendous, man. It's just you can tell they were hungry. Yeah, they were hungry for more than just Sunday service. And then um the youth service, as we mentioned, Sister Amy had led that endeavor and launching that, so she was uh was able to walk in that and help lead that one in the Vatra church as well. And they had a phenomenal first turn. I don't know, it was like 15, 16, 17 young people. Again, hungry, hungry young people. And so we saw that launched. Um, and then the children's ministry, the first children's ministry that we service in Vatra, we launched and I think there was like 30, 35 kids. Phenomenal turnout. And they were hungry. And so we begin to do it once a month and then slowly working toward now, they're all running weekly right now. So that was the plan. You know, it's easy to start a Bible study, it's easy to start a church, uh, at least for me. Um uh it's easy, uh, but to take the next steps and see the foundation laid at another level, you know, that was big. And so seeing though the Streetwood Church is now having children's ministry, this church is still growing, so it's it's a little bit of time before I'm sure Brother Corbin decides, hey, we're gonna launch uh we're gonna launch um the youth ministry and other areas like that, which they're ready for ladies' meetings as well. And so it's just a matter of time. But uh that was big for us. We wanted to. So at least at least three of the churches are already have kids' ministries, and at least two of them already have youth ministries. And and so, I mean, it's just phenomenal. It's phenomenal what God did. And like I said, God has more churches coming. I mean, I'm anticipating more growth in Dhaka of course um as the year continues and things continue to happen because there's revival. There's revival without a doubt. And so we are just praying to see Dhaka move forward in the million soul revival that God has promised Bangladesh. And so uh, yeah, and and God went over beyond and above. He gave us more exceedingly abundantly, you know, and so we actually have, like I mentioned last podcast, we have six uh Bible school students from Dhaka. And so um, you know, as they work into their schooling, they're already they're already scouting and looking for areas where they can go in and possibly start churches. And so it's not gonna stop, it's gonna continue marching on, you know, uh in revival. That's that's the vision, that's the plan. There's a million soul revival, and we're walking in it. So we just give God all the glory and all the honor. Yes, you know, for being able to be a part of that and to see that happen in uh in a district that we love, in a nation that we love, in a continent that we love. And so, man, just exciting stuff. That is exciting. And that is just amazing and encouraging news about all those all the work that God is doing in that district. That's fantastic. Um, now there's one church specifically that I wanted to talk to, especially because we call it the New Life Church, because it is what it is the church that uh New Life UPC has sponsored uh to help to to build. And uh so I would love it if you could uh dive into that a little deeper. Tell us about the area that it's in, the people, and um and uh yeah, just the the progress and stuff that's going on with that. All right. Well, we are excited about new churches, not just in the Dhaka district. The new churches are being planted. Brother Corbin shared a report that in the North Bengal, I think there were three new churches planted. Come on, somebody. Let's come on. Come on. That is awesome. Uh I'm excited. It doesn't matter. Uh, as long as the kingdom is growing, we've got reason to celebrate, and that's what I'm excited about. So I'm very happy and proud of our ministry team. They are our Bangladesh team, you know, our Bangladesh uh pastors, evangelists, teachers that are out there working in the north that have those three churches that are new areas. And so I'm man, it's expanding and God is just doing a mighty work and we're all for it. That's great. Um, so we're excited about churches planning and planned and also churches being built. We're always trying to see churches being built. And so while we were in Bangladesh this last year, there were four projects going. Um two in the Hill Tracks area. Well, one that was already completed and they dedicated it. Another one, the Kagatrudi Church, they're almost finished as well. So they're getting close. And then we have two that um the Lord allowed us to kind of be a uh play a small a small role in. And so we have one in in um Rashahi. And so that one's being the land's purchase, so they should start building as soon as uh they have everything in order. And so we're excited to see that one built. That there's a special story behind that one, which we'll do in a different day. But okay. Um, and then the final one, you know, we had been praying. We knew that new life is a church that's always involved. Um, there is a prof prophecy that has gone forth for this church to be regional, and I told Pastor I said global. He's global missions director for Tennessee, I said for a reason. Yeah, and so I'm he's he's being God is putting him in some position strategically that I think that, man, Smithville is just going to be a blessing, many, many areas. And so, you know, I prayed and I asked God um, you know, about a certain area, and there are several people in areas that are on my heart. Um, all of Bangladesh is, but as we continue to see and pray, and so I I I had been watching the Kolna district and seeing what was going on, and so I called my pastor. I said, Hey, do you want to build a church? I said, We've got we've got some pastors in some districts all over the nation that are really doing some work. And you know, I said, Pastor, pray about it if something that we want to do. And so we uh we end up choosing an area, and Pastor agreed, and New Life obviously responded. And so Kolna, uh, it's the Mong Mongla, Chalna area, Pastor Don Bosco, and uh he is a tremendous man, and I've come to love him, and we've developed a great relationship since um since meeting, and so that's the area that we chose, uh Mongla. And so it's in the Kolna district, the southern district of one of the southern areas of Bangladesh. Okay, and so it's a beautiful district of district of revivals. It's kind of if you've seen the crusades, that's kind of the district where the crusades. Oh, okay. So when Brother Robinette comes in, they do those crusades, those those things are happening in that district, and so uh very, very, very, very powerful district. And so I'm excited for what's happening there. We take several village trips there several times to to do things, and so we we love them, but uh yeah, so that was the area that we we felt on our heart that God led us to. And so, brother Don Bosco, he's got a special story. When we arrived in 2023, um you know we arrived the same time he arrived to the Bible school. So he has he was preparing to be a Catholic father. Oh wow, and then he met his now wife and he got kicked out, excommunicado. I don't know what the word is for how that process works, but he was removed. And so they were kind of like in limbo. He loves the Lord, he loves ministry, but you know, they were and so he found one of our videos. If if my if I've got the story correct, he found one of our live streams of the DACA church, and he just felt something in the Holy Ghost. So he called, he called the main office. He says, Hey, can I can I come and learn more about this Holy Ghost and this baptism in Jesus' name? Again, he's educated, trained to be a Catholic father. Yeah. So he comes in and on a Friday night he meets with our general secretary, and um, they give him a Bible study on baptism in Jesus' name, and it just clicked. Fantastic. He says, It just clicked. He says, I want to be baptized this Sunday, him and his wife. And so, man, and that was we that that's the day we got there to Bangladesh since 2021. Oh wow. So we get there. The day we get there, he gets there, and so it's like a it's a special story to us. And so that's a God appointment, right? Yeah. So the next day on a Saturday, he meets with one of the pastors, uh one of the other pastors there in the Capitol District, and he's like, Hey, teach me on the Holy Ghost, you know what you guys believe that talking in tongues thing, show me. You know, I never heard from what your perspective. And so he gets in there and they do it in the living room, and he just says, This is what the Bible says. I've never heard it told like this. I want to receive it, it's for me. So the pastor said, just lift your hands, we're gonna pray. And they prayed, and they both received the gift of the Holy Ghost in that living room on a Saturday night. Bible. Fantastic. So the next Sunday, they were baptized, both of them. I got pictures on there, and then you can see them in the altar, and it's just man. And when we sent him back, he went running. I mean, he went running. At least at least two, uh, one or two of the valedictorians come from his area. I may be wrong, several Bible school students. He's he sent to us there at the school. Um, he's launched new works, you know, he's doing all these amazing things, and so God is just moving there in what he's getting to do. And so I'm just excited. So, yeah, that was the area that we looked into and we approached Brother Corbin, said, Hey, we'd like to build and to build a church there in the Cholna area for Pastor Don Bosco and the revival that's happening there, and we're anticipating great things. And Brother Corbin gave us the green light, and so we called pastor, said, Hey, let's raise the money and the new life uh sacrificially gave, and you guys made it possible. Man, we are just so grateful this for what's going on, for what's what you guys are being a part of, not just in Bangladesh, but in other nations, because I know you guys are giving. Yes, and so um, man, we are just extremely grateful. We wanted new life to play a part in Bangladesh, um and what's happening here. Not just uh, you know, and so there's gonna be there's gonna be a piece of new life there that'll continue in the revival that Bangladesh has, the revival of a million souls. And so, man, in the process of going, we've got to see. The land now. So I was able to go out there and I was able to look and there is saw where the church was going to be and I got to stand there. I just got to take it in what was happening. And so we've shared the pictures and the everything, the information there at our first service here, and what all's going there. And so it's exciting, man. They they dug a pond. The general secretary had them dig a pond. That was big for me. And that just goes to show how closely we've walked and how he he knows my heartbeat. And we've just me and Pastor Bischoff have just been walking together this past year, and it just means a lot to me. And so he knew he he dug it. When I went out there and he sent me the pictures, I was blown away, and I would just begin to thank God. Now, why a pond? Um, so one, we have our own place to baptize. We don't have to have to worry about building a baptistry. Uh some areas we go into, we don't have a baptistry on site. So we have to maybe go to a different area and go to another church. You know, we we have to be in try to be in safer areas. Some places you're surrounded by Hindus and Muslims, it upsets them, especially if you're baptizing Hindus and Muslims or even other believers from other denominations. It can be problematic. So being able to do that on your own thing is a huge plus. And so he's like, we'll be able to baptize our own people and it's deep enough. Excellent. And then at the same time, they will be able to bring fish. And they will be able to have fish there and be able to take them to market. That'll help support the pastor, give him uh ways to support his family as well as even possibly, uh, you know, depending on what they end up planning to do, uh, you know, making available for church people to be assistants. However, however, that works, they're able to generate something for themselves, for the community, for the church. That is about as apostolic as it gets. That's why I was so excited. And it's fantastic. Obviously, we're gonna see that that pond is gonna, man, it's gonna be filled with the sins of many, many, many, many, many, you know, of the lost. Hopefully it doesn't turn the taste of the fish. No, do not buy fish from those guys. Oh, but I'm so excited, you know. And so and Brother Corbin you know, approved the drawings for the church, and so it'll be two floors now, and the top will allow it for it to be a district office. And so, you know, the day I visited the last visit before I returned to the states, they uh they approached me and they showed me this piece of land that was next to it, and they said, Hey, this one's for sale too. And we've created a plan to start a school, and we've created a plan that will allow us to pull children from four neighboring villages if we were to be able to build a school. And so um, you know, there things are happening already. Now, you know, that's a that's a project for later in the future, but you can tell their heartbeat. Their heartbeat is about bringing the kids, finding doorways to be able to get into homes, to talk, to share the gospel. And um man, it's just seeing all that going on, and and it's just exciting. I'm I'm so excited for the growth, whether it's Bible studies, whether it's a healing, obviously somebody getting the Holy Ghost, somebody being baptized, a revival service, a new opened area, a crusade. I mean, just all of it. I'm just I'm just excited about it. Bangladesh is a place of revival. It certainly sounds like it. And I'm just glad that new life gets to be a part of part of it in some form or fashion, not just through the Garcias, but through other means. And so I'm excited for when that gets finished and Brother Corbin says, hey, you know, y'all can come for the dedication. I'm trying to tell people to save money. Say put your pennies away or put your thousands away, whatever it's gonna take, and come out there, man. I wish that I wish that many people can see what we're walking in out there. Yeah, me too. And I'm excited for Pastor and Sister C to come. That's special to me. I want them to see what's happening in Bangladesh, and then we can continue to partner with the work of the Lord there. And so, man, it's just exciting stuff. It is exciting. It is exciting. It sounds like Bangladesh is a blank canvas for the Lord to do amazing things. Because you know, we and I talked about this um off record last time about uh just the need that people have there. They don't have the kind of uh social structure that we have, they don't have the kind of health care that we have. So God is all they have. They don't have pain meds and surgeries that they can lean on. That's just simply not an option because the poverty is such a big issue there as well. And so many people live their entire life with affirmities that that you and me can just go get taken care of. Yeah. So uh the faith there has got to be just pure. It does, it does, you know, and everybody is looking for something, and it's a matter of getting there and being you know the hands and feet of Jesus, just being that light. Pastor talked about this little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine. Yeah. And that's just uh I just it's I also have a podcast on that, by the way. So yeah, you do, that's right. So in case you're wondering, just come on, go watch it. And so uh getting to do that, man. I've got stories where a Muslim will come to a Bible study and he's got cancer. Yeah. And uh he comes, and I think Brother Justin Wright, another missionary family there, he was the one doing the Bible study, and he came that Muslim neighbor came to the Bible study, could barely walk, so much pain. Oh wow. And brother Justin laid hands on him and prayed for him. And uh the next day I got a phone call, I think. I'm sure he did too, but the phone call came through, and he said the Muslim guy, the neighbor, which I'd met before, he had uh come to the Bible study, and brother Brother Justin had prayed for him, and he began to pray against the cancer. And the next day, for the first time, and I don't know how long, he was out there working his farmland all day. All day, and it was a praise report. God had healed him from the cancer, and he went back and he was good. Oh my goodness. It was just tremendous, tremendous. He was a Muslim. He had come over for and it ended up bringing a Muslim politician from the area, and he started attending the services, and it was tremendous. Fast forward some time later, and I'm there with Brother Justin again, and we're and the man convinces his wife to come, the Muslim man. You know, he's he's good, and he convinces his wife to come, and she comes. Now he tells us she's got problems. And so he says she's got some issues and some instability mentally. Uh-huh. And she says there's the side of Islam that has this mysticism, like any religion. And at a younger age, she was dedicated to some things. Obviously, we know, you know, the spiritual bondage that comes with those things. Sure. Uh, not just out of um certain levels of Islam, but there's deeper levels. And so she would go into like, I don't know, almost like if it was like a bipolar thing, just kind of just go into this weird trance and just be weird, violent, crazy, unstable. So a clear oppression. Yeah, definitely. And so uh that's the way he described it to us. Yeah. And so she came in, you can tell she was uncomfortable. Oh, really? And it wasn't because of us, but of the spirit of God, you know, the spirit of God there, you can tell. And so, and of course, we're loving. I said, Come on in, take a seat. And we just went in there and just began to teach. And at the end, I asked for prayer. And I said, Does anybody need prayer? We prayed for everybody again as we normally do. And she came up and she was hesitant. You can tell whatever was inside was fighting her. And I remember her coming up and she began to what we would call manifest, you know, just whatever was in there just began to she began to break out. And I remember saying, Okay, um I know what to do. And being uh, I always say this, I'm a product of of my my father, and he did a lot of that. A lot of that. Oh, really? Yeah, he was he was involved a lot in in the deliverance ministry. Just and so um I knew exactly what it was, I knew exactly what to do. And she came forward and I said, I'm gonna lay my hands on your forehead and I'm gonna speak. And man, we I began to bind and rebuke, and I began to just cast out everything. I already had enough information from the husband, she was dedicated, I know how that works. Um, and I just began to bind and rebuke. And I remember it was almost like in the spirit, it was kind of like a shockwave. And so I did what I did, I did what I knew to do, what followed scripture, and I just remember feeling like a pulse. And she calmed down and then she ran out. And I said, they were gonna run and chase her down. I said, Don't worry about it. Yeah, don't worry about it, just let her go. And I remember me and Brother Justin were looking at each other and I said, Everybody, let's just give, let's just give praise. Let's just thank God. And uh and we just begin to thank God. And I think it was like a week or two later that they called us and they told us, hey, we haven't been able to communicate, you know, for whatever reason, but she hasn't had another attack or episode since that Bible study. Praise the Lord. And time continued to pass by and she was fine. Um, and so God did a work and did a miracle there. It doesn't matter, you know. Um, it's just it's easy. We walk with purpose, we walk intentionally, and we're always um Bishop Gonzalez from Chicago. We met with him, and he told us a very firm man of the faith, an app an apostle of the just a tremendous man, him and his wife, family, a tremendous church. We met with him, and he told us, he says, me and my wife, he said, You walk in apostolic authority, you walk in apostolic dominion, where your feet set foot, you walk in that. Amen. Do not let it be. Don't let fear move it out. Don't let the enemy try to convince you that you are not in what you need to be in, that you're not doing what you need to be doing. Exercise your right in the Holy Ghost. Yes. And so that's the mentality that we went in this last year, man. We just uh this last year was different. It wasn't the the 23, 24, there was lots of miracles. And this year was different. It's almost as if God said, No, this is not about you laying hands. I remember being in a service and three women came forward for healing. And the first one, I knew God wanted a healer, and I was writing it, and I just felt God said no. Um, no. And so there's a couple questions that I learned to ask from Pastor Sharp. And he, you know, one of the questions is, God, is she going to be healed today? Is she gonna be by my hand? Is it your will for her to be healed? And so when I asked God, I said, God, is it your will for her to be healed by my hand? He said, No. And so, of course, they're there waiting, and I'm doing all this in the spirit as things are going. And I said, Okay, who? And I look over, and Sister Zinya Mondo, the pastor, uh, the uh assistant pastor's wife there from the Capitol Church. God says, her. And so I say, Sister Zinya, and she's very timid, tremendous young woman, tremendous family, and she's very timid. I said, Sister Zinya, you lay hands and you command the infirmity to leave her body. She was, you can tell I just pulled her out. She she said she was so nervous. She was, I said, Don't worry, trust in God. Yeah. And she put her hand out, and she, I had the pictures on my phone. She began to rebuke sickness. She began to just do it. And at the end, I said, I ask her how she's feeling. And then she was healed. I mean, she was healed. And so I saw that pattern going forward this last year. It wasn't about this year, it wasn't about me laying hands on the sick, but it was about pushing and encouraging others, the students that we have in the Bible school, the people that we were working with in these Bible studies. You know, it was about trying to lead others and demonstrate so that they could grow into it because it can, it can't, I can't be everywhere. Exactly. I can't be everywhere. Brother Corbin can't be everywhere, Brother Peter can't be everywhere. You know, we we need other people to step into what God is calling them to do. Exactly. And so that was what this year's about. I, you know, there wasn't, there was some highlights that I remember in miracles. We prayed for all kinds of things for people who are gonna have. Here's another story that I just heard. Uh send it. The Shripud church that we started in Dhaka. Um, there was one of my last services. There was a gentleman that came and he had said, I'm gonna visit that church. It's in your church, and of course, everybody, the community's buzzing with everything. And he comes and he brings his wife. Well, she's unable to have children. So she comes and um and they come to us at the end of the service and say, you know, they say, Brother Garcia, can you pray for us? We want to have a child. I said, Absolutely. So again, I had my wife, told my wife, you know, put your place your hand on her belly and we're gonna pray. And I prayed for him too. Yeah. Um, and I we begin to speak. God, if it's your will, give them the miracle, give it to them. Now, this is where that woman in the whale thing comes to, because man, uh uh, you know, she she said, Come see this man who's told me everything I've ever done. And then the city erupts and revival comes. Well, we prayed for them, and then uh we returned back to the states, and you know, since then she's not pregnant, but he went and just began to tell everybody. He just began to tell people come to church, come to this church, come to this church, come to this church. And I was telling my friend, I said, I said, it it's it's like the woman in the well, but but the miracle hasn't happened yet yet. He took it upon himself because he he recognized something was different. Yes, not just in Brother Garcia, not just in Pastor Shimel, not just in you know, the believers in that room, but in the church. He understood the presence, the glory of God. It's undeniable. Even though he didn't, he hasn't yet received his miracle, it was a life-changing prayer that it took him. And so he's been bringing people every week. That's great, and that's how he's gonna get his miracle. And that and that's what I told Pastor, that's what I told Pastor Shimmel. I said, do not forget that. He says, it's going to come to pass, and when it does, we want to celebrate too. Yes. And I said, do not forget that. Do not let that slip your mind because it's going to come. It's going to come in Jesus' name. And so, yeah, that was just, you know, that's been in the last month or in the last month. And he's just been bringing people. And in the church is getting full, the church is getting full. And and I wouldn't be surprised sometime this year, they're going to need a bigger building or tear down a couple walls, or we're just going to have to rent the whole complex. In Jesus' name. In Jesus' name. That's what we, that's what we uh, man. That's just the that's the the the vision. That's the vision. Yeah. It's the vision for Bangladesh. It's the vision for all of us. It's not just me. It's not just Brother Corbin. He, you know, it's it's everybody is coming behind and saying together, united, we're going to see the church march forward and we're doing what we need to do. If we need to pray, if we need to fast, if we need to put our flesh under submission, if we need to go out there and be active, we're going to see revival. We're going to see it. We just need to be consistent. We need to be faithful, and we need to trust and believe God. His word has already gone forth. I said it on Sunday. I said from the cross, we're walking in victory. Yes. What more do you need to know? And I sometimes I have to slap myself and say, Johnny, what more do you need to know? You're walking in victory. The gates of hell will not prevail. The gates of hell will not prevail. Yes. They will not win. They may take some territory, but they will not win. And we have the authority to go back and to take. And that's what we're doing. That's what we're trying to do. That's what we're pushing for. And in the promise that Bangladesh has received, we are walking in that. I, you know, it's for us, it's for the nation. And so we're going to continue in that. And so uh I'm excited for the Shripo Church. I'm excited for all of them. And I'm excited for the new areas that God is going to allow us to go in. It's just tremendous, man. That sounds amazing. Sounds amazing. Now all of your ministry would not be possible without the help of a very special woman in your life, your wife. So I want I would love for you to tell our listeners here about uh her influence and um her part in all of this. Very well, very good. That's your that's a very important part. Because a lot of people don't get to hear it. If you know my wife, she is okay being in the background. She is. Very timid. It's funny because on deputation, we would have pastors publicly say, because she would share with them, you know, I'm good being in the background. And I remember one pastor who we love dearly, he told us from the pulpit, he says, Sister Garcia has no business being in the background. I said, The voice of this prophetess, because we were ministering, we tag team, me and my wife. It's funny, Brother Gary Vick, our former global missions director, him and his uh we used to joke around it as he would minister. And it's funny because we kind of follow the same thing, but I used to say, Brother Gary Vick would walk and then he would feel something or a word of knowledge or a word of wisdom, and then he would operate in that and then lay hands and heal them. Right. Um, and God will do the miracle. And I said, we used to joke with him about it. I said, Brother Vic, I said, God took you and split you in half and put half of you and half of the gifting in me and half of the gifting in my wife. I said, because my wife will be in the gift of uh wisdom and of knowledge, and she'll be listening. The Lord will be dropping like little nuggets, she says, of information. So I'll be praying for the sick, and she'll say, No, you don't need to pray for the back, you need to pray for the neck. You don't need to pray for the neck, you need to pray for this, or you need to, you know, she's discerning what is going on, and I'm the one laying hands, and God is the one doing the miracle. Right. And so I said, you know, we joke about being split, and so yeah, they told her that several times, several times, and so um, you know, when Ashley's calling is very Ashley's calling is very special. We found out later that her grandmother uh was actually supporting an orphanage in Bangladesh before Ashley was born. We found a folder full of letters from the missionaries, whoever they were. Um they weren't the our supervising missionaries, but somebody else. Um they were supporting them financially. And we found the folder of all the receipts and all the pictures that she sponsored in this orphanage. And so, you know, she was surprised when God called her to missions uh specifically because she always worked a new life in the sound booth and the media booth, whatever. She was in the background and she said, God, I'm fine, I'm fine here. I can faithfully serve you here and be content. Yeah. Little did she know that there was a certain level of legacy that her grandmother gave. And now here she is going to the same nation. And so when we met, when we met, we were like, uh I was pastoring a Spanish work, and I was toward the latter time um of that. And I uh I took a mission strip somewhere to do it. I was looking at opening up another work near in a local nearby city, and I said, if I don't do it now, I'm gonna get too busy. So I went and it and it God just had something else planned. Yeah. And because it wrecked me. And I remember coming back in the airport and just being like, God is just laying it on my heavy on my heart. It's like this is what's the time for. And I, you know, went through that whole process. Well, Ashley also was getting called to missions. So we were friends, and finally, when we decided to, we had the conversation. It's like, God, she's like, God is calling me to missions. And I was like, oh, took a sigh of relief because I was like, that's funny, because God is calling me to because she was getting ready to go to Jordan. Oh, for real. She had an invite, she was gonna sign up for the aim and everything, go to Jordan. Um, because she knew God was calling her. And and together we thought we were gonna go to Jordan. And brother Vic, first time we met him at Turning Point in Madison, we went to shake his hand. You know, and he's like, as soon as he'd grabbed my hand, he said, Hold on. He said, The Lord's telling me right now where you guys are trying to go to. It's not the Lord has called you. I'm Brother Gary Vick. How are you? What's your name? Literally, that was the first interaction we had with Brother Gary Vick. And we were just like, Okay, you know, we were still in that praying, but you know, we were looking and we felt whatever. We we we were kind of trying to navigate that at the time. And so, yeah, so we get the Lord told us we needed to be at N A Y C the following year, and we went there and on the very last day, every day he told us he'd give us a word. So we're praying every day. God, God, God, God, what do you? Got what you got? Nothing. The last day. Ryan is getting the kids up. He said, We got to go. Where's time to go? I was there with turning point. Ashley was still there with new life at the time. We hadn't gotten married yet. But we were praying. And and I'm like getting uh frustrated. I'm like, God, it's the last service. Literally, they're trying to, and I see my wife typing on her phone, and I get so upset. She's over here texting, and I'm trying to hear from the Lord. Like, are you serious? You know, in my own human self, my mind. And then she gives me the phone. She gives me the phone. And there's a list of three nations, one of them being Bangladesh. The other two I can't mention publicly. And and and I said, Okay, we're gonna pray, see which one of those three. You know, I was like, Yay! Yeah, and then she takes the phone and continues typing because the Lord's still give speaking. And at the end it says, These shall be your proving grounds. And and I said, So it's not one of them. She says, No, it's all three. And so we don't have time frames, we don't know when, where, how each one is gonna come to pass. We know we're serving in one, we're faithfully serving there as God has allowed it. When the time comes, he'll let us know. But that's how it started. And then we begin, Pastor, let us go for two months in 2021. But the big conversation that we had together, I remember. Oh well, hold oh well, hold on, hold on. Before we go any further, so you were waiting on a confirmation from God. Yeah. You're waiting on a word from the Lord, and it came through her. Yeah. So you were waiting on the Bangladesh. Is that what it's that's what I was waiting for? I was waiting for direction because I knew the Lord had called me. And when He when I stepped down from this the church that I was pastoring, it was an appointed time. Uh no, I didn't see it then, but it was it was it was God. It was all God because things happened in my personal life that I had to give all my attention to. Things were moving. I met Ash, you know, all these things are happening. And and so yeah, I'm you know, I'm I knew that God had called me to missions, and so we were trying to figure that out together. And that's what I meant to say that we operate as a partnership. Yeah. And so my wife has been called, and she understands now is that she is a um intercessor. Uh-huh. That's what that's the word. Sure. That's the word that has been used over and over again. So when we pray, there are times when I come and I have the word, but a majority of the time God is dropping consistently because we walk in that. We don't just leave it at the door, we don't just turn it on on Sunday, we don't just turn it on on Wednesday, whatever. Right. But we're constantly trying to for many situations, and God has just given us what we need. And so, man, we we you know, we have to navigate that and and we learn to walk with that, and it's a lifestyle. We're walking with God, He's literally telling us. And so there are times when we take a left because God says to take a right or a left or go straight, you know? And so, yeah, that's literally we're both praying for the word that God gave us, but God gave it, spoke it to her there and confirmed it later on in both of our lives individually. Is it it's just how he does it, isn't it? Oh, you expect it to come from okay. Well, now because you wanted to put your own little two cents in here. Now I'm gonna do it this way. Isn't it amazing how he does that? I love it. Anyway, sorry to sorry to cut you off on that, but I just had to dig deeper into that because that just stuck out to me. That word that you were looking for, you were expecting it to come from somewhere else, but no, it was the woman sitting right next to you the whole time. Yeah, so that's just fascinating. Anyway, continue, please. And so the calling was clear. It wasn't, you know, while we were getting there, it seems like as we get to where we need to go, there's ups and downs, left and rights. And so that's what we're that's what everybody deals with. But the calling was clear. There was no vagueness, there was nothing. God just like that. This is where you're going. This could be your program, girl. He doesn't give us a lot of details, doesn't give us a lot of information on a lot of things. He said this was gonna happen, and we have to be awake, spiritually be awake to see that come to pass. And so we're learning you mentioned that uh uh long time ago about you talking about being spiritually awake, the woman in the donut shop. That has stuck with me for a long time. Yeah. To to recap on that, just real quick, it was it was uh you had gone into a donut shop trying to get donuts, and there was a woman in the donut shop, and you had an opportunity to witness. Yeah, and the opportunity came and went, and then God cornered you in your house and said, You thought this was about a donut. And that woman was right there. Yeah. Yep, I remember. It took me a minute. It took me a minute. You said donuts, pastry shop, but that's okay. Oh, don't donut pastries, you know what you know. It's okay. But yeah, yeah, no, and so that was uh, you know, that's kind of how it started. And so and that's another lesson, though. You're in the proving ground, yeah, as you said. Yeah, yeah. And so it's we're growing in in a lot of different areas, and we're okay. I I tell the Bible schools because we're always students, man. Yes, absolutely. Always students, always God is always trying to take us into a deeper level, into new things, into fresh things, and into things that we probably don't think. And so we just need to be, we just need to be actively and be active in what you're doing. Yeah. I mean, you know, we talked about this a little while ago. You know, we're in between a process right now with our missions journey, and uh Pastor Cornelius he calls up and says, Hey, we're gonna launch a Spanish ministry. And I was like, Great, let's do it. I mean, just because I'm not in the mission field doesn't mean I'm not working in the kingdom. Yeah. And I'm I'm a, you know, we learned that process years ago. And so now it's just we're here. What can we do? How can we impact the kingdom? Uh yes, I'm a missionary to Bangladesh. Yes, I have calling to other nations. Yes, we feel a burden to Asia, but I'm in Smithfield right now. Right. Am I gonna sit and am I gonna wait or I'm gonna grow in what God has given me? If He's opened a door, if my leaders say, Hey, we need you in this area, I'm we're gonna walk. Yeah. I'm we're kingdom-minded. It doesn't matter where we're at. And that's the most important aspect to be kingdom-minded. Yeah. To keep to keep that door open, to let God operate through you. Because as as brother Jeff says, our our walk in the kingdom is not for Sunday. Yeah. It's from Monday through Saturday. Absolutely. Absolutely. And in Bangladesh, that's what we do. Yeah. That you know, it's it's here, it can be different sometimes, and we have to actively push that. Well, and how we do it, it looks different. But in Bangladesh, man, I you're witnessing to somebody in the elevator. I mean, there's been times I wouldn't have been with Brother Corbin getting a haircut, and he's just he'll talk to some guy and he'll ask him, Hey, do you have any churches in your neighborhood? He's like, No. And he looks at me, he says, Here you go. I've just given you a door. Come and keep coming here. You got to come here once a month to get a haircut. You can keep talking to set it up. And I he's it's a masterclass, and I'm not in a classroom. I'm getting a haircut with him. And he's showing me, look at this is how you do it. We're in an elevator. He just strikes up a simple conversation, he makes them laugh and brings the conversation. We're praying for people in elevators as we're going. We continue walking. And it's just, man, walking with them and getting to see those nuggets with them, of how they've learned to operate in the spirit in Bangladesh is just tremendous. That is apostolic authority. Absolutely. 100%. Absolutely. And so we watch him, we're studying him, how he how he operates in the village, watching him love on the people and and and speak faith into a room and just go into areas where they might be dark, and just, you know, we just soaking it all in, soaking it all in. And so that's what we learn to do. And and we bring that with us where it doesn't just stop in Bangladesh. Yeah. If I'm here, even in this moment now that we're recording this podcast, lives are going to be touched. You told me this podcast is already reaching in other areas. 50 countries, 252 cities. Lives are going to be touched. And I actively am thinking that I'm not just having a conversation, I'm not just having fun with my friend telling stories. There are lives that are going to be changed. Yes. And that's how I view what we're doing all times. Absolutely. And so, you know, we go up and down, we go up and down, and we do that. But that's how it started for us. It was clear, God gave it to us, and we had to navigate the in-between. But the orders from the Lord were straightforward. It was easy, it was not hard to find. Yes. And so it led to that conversation that I was leading up to with my wife. And I said, Do you want to be a missionary or do you want to be a missionary wife? And I said, Because, you know, there's some times where the wives are active. They're there, there, there, there. And then there's some times where they're they're more backwards, taking care of kids, taking care of other things, not so much background worker. And I remember I asked her that question when we got married. And finally she came back and she said, missionary. And so we've we've operated like that. So my wife is there with me. She's going to the Bible studies with me. Many times she's there uh with baby on her hip, and we have passing baby back. And so uh that was, you know, that was not a problem. That's not a problem. She would go on a village trip with me. She was in there. It's out of her comfort zone, she'll tell you, but she knows what she chose. She knows what she told God, and she knows the call of God that's on her life. So we're there. Like I said, when we're praying for people, we're doing it together. We were preaching at a church the other day, and the pastor told me, he says, I thought you were going to give the mic to your wife at the end and to say something because she's she usually has a prophetic word that she releases. And I said, I said, I asked. I said, Not today. But I didn't, and it wasn't till later that I asked her. She was in the altar with the pastor's wife, with certain people giving what she didn't feel to release from the microphone. Yeah. And so, you know, I didn't have to train her. And now, again, I'm a product of my father. So miracle, signs, and wonders were there every week. People were coming in getting delivered every week. People were coming getting healed every week. People knock on the door of the house. We don't know. They say, I'm sick. My dad would pray for them right there. Stories after story. I grew up on all of that. It was just normal for me. Whereas for her, it wasn't. And so there was different. But quickly, quickly, she allowed the Lord to put her in the place to where she was always ready. And so that was what that was a very important question that we asked. And so now that we have Leah in this past year, it may have looked a little bit different as Leah gets older, uh, not as much. And so she's recognizing. She's recognizing, and God, she already knows God's voice on this. So now that we have another child, she feels that she's gonna step back a little bit more into what is gonna be demanded of her of the children that we consciously made the decision to have. So while now we'll look a little bit different, she is intentional with Leia. She is intentional with the other little one that's coming. She knows what she needs to do. She knows that raising her and teaching her will allow her to grow. And it's important that the ministry begins at the home. And when we're together, when we go out together, she is active. She's active with the women's ministry, you know, that we were able to do those Bible studies. She's with me in the Bible studies. Um, sometimes I get her to teach, and she allows, she teaches at the Bible school a completely different perspective. Her education, she's got a bachelor's degree in um in biology, the preference in zoology. That's come up in the Bible school. You know, she teaches at the Bible school as well. And they'll tell me, say, Brother Garcia, we like your teaching. And they say, but your wife, your wife gives us a different aspect. And my wife's a teacher by trade. She teaches at the school here. She has in the past. She's, you know, everything was leading towards that career path until the Lord called her and put her with the pastor. And so now she's using that in the field and she enjoys teaching at the Bible school. She'll tell you, she enjoys the hard questions, she enjoys getting to watch their them unfold in that. And that's a pleasure that she has. She enjoys a lot. She doesn't really care for standing behind the pulpit very much, but uh again, it goes back to that background worker. And even when I don't put her in the front, she's in the altars. Right. She's in the altars, those those words of wisdom, the word of knowledge. She'll come and tap me on the shoulder and said, Hey, you need to come over here. This person is, I'm discerning that there is a spiritual bondage here. And then I got, we'll come on there and we'll work on it together. And so, you know, my wife is a very important part. There'll be times where she's praying, and the revival that she's praying for, I'm walking in it, even though we're separate. And that's just that's just how we operate. And so um, there's been times where we've been split up. You know, I'm going, I'm in one village and she's in another village. And I always say, She's the better of us too. They say, Oh, you know, people joke and everything. Smart man. I said, She's the better of us too. I said, even as a missionary, and they asked, What's the story? And I said, Well, I got a picture from one of the young people uh from a village trip she did to my men sing, and she had baby with her. Uh-huh. And it's like 105 degrees. Yikes. And they're all dressed up in their shharis, which is the national dress for the women. It's like one long piece of cloth and it's wrapped around 105 degrees. Yeah. She's wearing the shari. She's got baby on her hip, and she's preaching to those ladies. And I have that picture saved on my phone. It is so special because I wasn't going through that. I was in the southern part. It was raining, it was nice and a little bit cooler. Yeah. Living the dream. Living the dream. And I got to stay in a nice place and where they had chosen, I guess, electricity went out, and they didn't even have fans. So, you know, babies in a puddle of sweat. She's in a puddle of sweat. Oh man. And so, you know, she's out there. Misery. Yeah, but she's out there. And I always say, when I look at that picture, I'm reminded, you know, of a tremendous woman that God has given me to serve the nation, to serve the people, to win the lost. And so Ashley is a tremendous person. And I am grateful every day that we get to walk this together. And um, you know, she does a lot more even than I than I can say on here that people will never know the prayers that she's whispering her heart behind things and reasons why she does. But she's there with me. She doesn't, she doesn't and she's not hiding in the house. Yeah. She's not avoiding, she's out there. And she doesn't shy away from difficult things. No, she doesn't. That last village trip we took together, which I probably will not try to bring her and baby on it again, because I remember I I sent a message to Brother Corbin from that village trip, and it was so hot. And we traveled. Usually they like to leave travel days at the end of village trips. That way there's nothing there you can rest. Because it's a it takes out of you to go out there. And so we with that trip, because of the schedule, it was ignored. And so we go, and on day one, after driving for eight hours, and after driving for eight hours, we get there and go straight into service. Big mistake. Yikes. But we do what we have to do. Big mistake on the part that we normally rest. And yeah, Pastor Peter will always try to schedule that. This time we didn't, and and so I've learned my lesson now. And um But we didn't rest. And we went right in and then went three days, I think, full of youth camp and that and that service. And it was, I mean, it was packed schedule, lots of preaching, and it was hot. Oh, it was hot. My wife is there with me. And then we have scheduled to go to another area in the Rashahi city of a new church work that we were helping that God allowed us to bring to the table. And then we went to the village where we're building one of the churches and held a service there. Uh after the third day, my wife said, I'm gonna go to the car and I'm gonna turn the AC on. And I said, I hate to be one of those Bideshis, one of those foreigners, you know, that can't handle it. But her and baby were roasted. Yeah. And so she said, you know, we learned our lesson that maybe in the heat of the summer, uh, you know, I can go by myself. There's no reason for for everybody. But by the end of that, between the three of us, and multiple of us had the symptoms, we had uh heat exhaustion, we were dehydrated, I had pulled a muscle somewhere on my body, I had got a cut on one of my legs and it got infected. Oh no. We had bug bites, we had extreme gastritis. I was in pain. And so the list went on and on. I remember Brother Corbyn says, Who had the who had the dehydration and heat exhaustion? I said I did. He was making sure it wasn't the baby. And so luckily we kept her safe. You know, we we bring widgets and gadgets for our phone for fans and cooling rags and everything because it was it was an intense one. So uh Do you know how hot it was? 105. Oh, oh, okay. So it was also 100. Then you get then you get 100 people, 150 people put them inside the building. Yeah. So luckily the humidity up here was unbelievable. Yeah. And so by the last day, we did that open air service, and I knew I was done after I preached and we prayed for the altar call, and people got the Holy Ghost. The last day at the end, they took us to the table to go eat before we were gonna drive. And I remember I think my body, I let my mind let my body know we're done. And that's when everything hit me. Yeah, really good food was sitting in front of me, spicy like I like it. You know, we have no problem with spices, and it was spicy like we like it. They didn't hold back, yeah. And it was so good, but we could not eat. And I and by the the eight-hour, ten-hour drive we had back, whatever, to to the city, I was miserable. Oh, I was miserable. But we were thanking God for everything that he had done, and it was a tremendous trip. And so she was there with me. Leia was there with me. She's a trooper too. She's an MK at heart. And you will certainly never forget that going through that with each other. Like God on your side. Come on now. It was a tremendous, it was a tremendous week. That is that's an amazing story. And I can't wait to get some more on record. But we're gonna call it. We are we're over an hour right now. Oh man, that's what happens when you let me talk. I love it. I love it, I love it. But uh, yeah, we're gonna call it there. Johnny, is there anything else that you want to say, anything you want to impart on our listeners or anything like that? You know, I just be sense sensitive to the voice of God. Yeah, and that's it. You know, that'll carry you. That'll carry you so much. And it doing that forces you to have a relationship with God that nobody else can give you. And man, it doesn't matter what we're going through. Um when you've got that going and you've got you're walking with God, and He's walking with you, and there's active communication, so it doesn't matter. Yes. I mean, we're excited right now. What's the date today? May 7th. Man, we are on fire for what is happening. What we've got in our schedule coming up, what's happening in a new life, our prayer meeting last night, I told you it was on fire. Yes. We man are just God has been good to us, and we are just walking in what God has given us right now, in this moment, we uh just see the abundance of blessings that God has given us and is continuing to give us, and that is a result of walking with Jesus, being sensitive to his voice. Yes. And so I encourage you no matter where you're at, what you're doing, develop that. That'll get you certain things. It might not look like your neighbors. And too many times we're comparing what our seasons, what are going, what are waiting, what our processes going, how things we compare it to other people and how they do it. You just need to walk into what God has given you and be what God has called you to be while you're in that. And so um that's the best advice I can give. Be sensitive to the voice of God, develop that prayer, develop that place of prayer and in his word, get to know him, and you'll be surprised, it doesn't matter where, and you'll see God's word begin to be active in your life, and that's the best thing I can say right now. And that is excellent direction. And to that point, I'm just gonna share a quick story of my own. Happened this last Sunday. Yeah. And I was in the altar as usual, and you know, praying, worshiping, all that, and uh, there was another woman, uh, or there was a woman, another, I'm not a woman. There was a woman uh of our church uh congregation who was who was praying, uh knelt down at the altar. Um, and I could tell she's really intently praying on something. I don't know what, I didn't ask her, but I felt it, and I felt the hand the hand of God come on me and say, I need you to confirm something for her. Come on. And at first I was a little timid. It had been a while since I had had that hit me like that, and so I was a little timid, but I still felt it build up in me, you know, like I have to go say this to her. And I did and interrupted her prayer because I waited on the timing, you know, go now. And so I waited on the timing and uh said what I needed to say, I'm not gonna say it here, but said what I needed to say is very quick. I was there for 10 seconds, and um after service, she came up to me and said, Thank you. I needed to hear that. I had I've been approaching God about something and before before service, I was I was praying to God and you confirmed everything that uh that I had I had brought to him. So thank you for being sensitive to the spirit and and doing that. And I told her, Thank you for confirming that for me. Um and uh because of that, because of that obedience that led to the Lord imparting another message on me, which I shared in my in one of the other podcasts, uh the veil not torn. Yeah. And if I hadn't done that, he would not have given me this message to to give. So to that point, yes, stay sensitive to the spirit. And if it feels if it it's it can be kind of nerve-wracking because you don't if you're if you're not really used to it, or if it's been a while like it had been for me, it can be like, is this me doing this? But the only way, the only way that you're gonna do it is confidence and and being bold approaching it, you know, the Bible says approach and throwing the confidence. Yeah. And that's how we got approached this. You walk in apostolic authority. Yeah. So be reminded of that and be encouraged on that today, and walk in faith and and uh keep your ears open. And so, yeah. To that, to that end, I say uh thank you, Johnny, again for sitting down with me for a little while. And uh can't wait for the next one. Thank you for the opportunity. We're excited for everything that's happening. Oh, before we go, your socials again. Yeah. Facebook, family Garcia Misiones, heavy Spanish there, but we also do it's a bilingual page. Follow us there on Instagram, Gfam104. You can find us there. Um, it's a little bit more active, so a lot more videos, a lot more stuff. But feel free to reach out to us on those. We're always willing to chat and to talk and uh share what God is doing there. You'll see lots of uh updates that are coming through on our journey. And then, of course, our giving portal there is on our bio in Instagram, and I think it's on Facebook too, in both of our bios. So if you feel led to partner with us, we're all looking for we're always looking for partners and missions. Yes, you know, it doesn't have to be some grand old thing, but um, we're always looking. So if you feel led to partner with us, please do so. Even if you gotta just sacrifice a latte a month. Seven, eight dollars a month, it all adds up. Yeah, yeah. So feel free to give uh as you're led to, and then of course give through your prayers. Um, that's a whole nother podcast in itself, but man, prayers of the saints. You don't know how many times we we can pinpoint a few people who God showed us we're praying. And our supervising missionary told us somebody was praying for a situation on another nation. They woke up in the middle of the night, and so we've got stories. So please keep us in prayer, keep our supervising missionaries in prayer, keep our missionary team. A lot of them are getting prepared to come back, their partners away from coming back. We're excited to see them jump into the harvest for our national team and our pastors and churches. Pray for them. And for the Bible, uh the revival in Bangladesh, um, pray for our Muslim neighbors. Lots and lots of revival is at our doorstep, even here in the States. And we don't have time, but boy, oh boy, the harvest has come to our doors. You can feel the hunger, man. The nations are at our door, America. Uh the nations are at our door. You no longer have to go to the other side of the world. You can do it right in your own backyard. And uh, so the harvest is plenty. We just need laborers. There's uh I think there's scripture for that. Come on. But anyway, again, Johnny, thank you so much. And uh to our listeners, as always, thank you for listening. May God richly bless you, and I will see you on the next episode.
