Loving Light,
Matty and Emily
Hello amazing souls and welcome to today's show. We are excited to be here with you once again.
Emily:Hello, we are very excited about today's topic. It is definitely something that affects everyone at the core of our being. So this is a really interesting topic to dive on into.
Matty:We are going to jump off into the deep end and get into navigating life in duality and having dualistic beliefs. This is a bit of a, not an extension, but last week's show, we talked about relationship beliefs that could be ruining your life. We got into dualistic beliefs there and how they show up in relationships. And it got Emily and I thinking just how much we really wanted to dive into just how awesome duality is and how richly textured it can be and how life can be tough and it can be easy and it can be painful and it can be beautiful too while we're here in duality. But that we choose it. Our souls know what they're getting into before we come. And no matter what your perception or thoughts are about living here and experiencing this duality and what side of the coin you find yourself on, or if you don't find yourself on a side because you understand the importance of the gray area, of the in between already. Just know that we chose to come here and have these experiences within duality. That duality is here for us to find our beingness within it all, that unique vibe that we are.
Emily:Yes. And part of the reason for this duality that we experience is because we are looking to create this wholeness within ourselves. So for example, if you're lacking a certain trait or characteristic, then you probably want to learn that trait or characteristic, especially if it's holding you back in life. So on a simpler level, for example, maybe you, well, this is a really personal one to me. Maybe you need more self discipline in your life because you're not getting the things done that you want to get done. And so therefore self discipline is something that's holding you back. And so you may come here to choose to work on that in order to create this wholeness within yourself. That's part of the reason for this duality. And it's also to explore themes from all different angles as well. If you're wanting to think about success, you're probably going to explore it from being super successful and understanding that view point of it. And then you're going to view it from being not so successful. And, of course, successful is subjective, so that's gonna be different for everyone, whatever that scale is and whatever that means. I mean, you could be the most successful person financially, but you're not successful in your relationship. So therefore in your mind, you could not be successful at all or vice versa. It is a subjective way of looking at whatever success is or whatever self discipline is to you. I mean, for example, I have really high self discipline when it comes to exercise and eating healthy, but then I really like to take that extra hour or two in the bed because it's just so warm and snuggly. So it's just, it, it's really about looking at it at all sides and what works for you.
Matty:Emily brought up in an effort to have more wholeness. more well roundedness within you as a soul. We all have our own strengths and gifts and archetypes and things that we excel at naturally, innately, but sometimes there is things that we lack. And this is what Emily's talking about. So we come here and work on these themes. So we're attracting these themes in our life. The environments that we choose help us to live out these themes. And duality lets us live them out in an infinitesimal way of exploring the ups and downs and all of the in betweens within it. That's why duality is so richly textured. And it can be this amazing tool if you're willing to look at life and duality as a tool for our growth and for our learning.
Emily:Yeah, and it's really this experiential knowledge is how we learn and grow. It is through experiencing something and taking on that knowledge that it turns into wisdom. Because you don't, you don't become wise by not experiencing anything. You only become wise by having those experiences. And I mean, I'm sure you can relate to this. If you're wanting to learn something from someone, you're not going to go to someone that has never had that experience or has no idea what you're talking about. You want to go to someone who has lived it, been through it, suffered through it, or maybe not suffer through it, but at least came through it on the other side. And they have that wisdom. And I mean, a lot of times it does come with some hard lessons as well. I mean, you can't really become wise without the hard lessons.
Matty:That's typically part of being here in Earth, in Earth's duality, is in order to have the experiential knowledge gained and to truly know something, you've lived the ups and downs. And sometimes these themes, these life lessons that we work on, it can take anywhere from 5 to 15 lifetimes. Think about that. Think about how much you've experienced already in your life, just this life, and then think about multiplying by the 5 or 15 times worth of experience. To fully embrace the experiential knowledge needed to own that theme, that self discipline within, that success within. And in our work in the Akashic Records when we do our Soul Journey readings, I mean, we check on 91 different themes at this point.
Emily:Yeah, and growing.
Matty:Yeah, and that's just the ones that we know of. At any point we could discover more, or our mentor could, and we could be sharing things back and forth with them, whoever makes the discovery. And we start to share it with clients and get their resonation and feedback, yes, this is resonating with me. And then we know that we're on to something new as well. So it, that's one of the cool things with, with that part of our work is you kind of already have a base of knowledge, but you could at any point make a new discovery. Because each soul is new and to us and unique in their own right. So it's, it's not like just reading a blueprint and like, Oh yeah, you're going to fit into these boxes right here that we already know about. Every soul is like, whatever, check this out. Look how I did this. My box is over here. Yeah, I got a foot in this one and a foot in this one and a hand in this. Yeah, see I'm playing twister with all these boxes around here.
Emily:That's a funny way to think about it.
Matty:I've got a big smile on my face right now. So experiential knowledge is everything here in duality. It's a lot of it's about your perception. Are you are you willing to look at your experiences as as a tool for growth or is it just the shit that's happening to you and the things that you're doing in return? It can be pretty tricky though to find your balance and to coexist within duality because it is so up or down.
Emily:Yeah, it definitely gets a bad rap because, because of the polarities and the dualistic thinking.
Matty:Dualism is generally the belief in two fundamental concepts that are opposing forces, that are governing a situation, or governing people, or the world, or, you know, what have you, and it, it doesn't really allow for any gray area in between. The progression of human consciousness is evolving, but we've been in dualism for a long time because of the dualistic world that we live in. And oftentimes we just want to figure things out and we want to understand. That's kind of a natural thing for humans. Now whether, we want to go deep and really, like, get into our own inner world and go deep into other people and really truly understand or our mind just wants to figure it out and kind of move on. There is an innateness of wanting to figure things out, kind of within all of us. But the problem with dualism is it's, it can be a rigid, like, view of the world and it can force things into boxes or a particular polarity, if you will. Once the brain kind of gets something labeled, well that's it, I figured that out, I can move on to something else. And if anything similar comes up, I already know, that just goes right in there with that viewpoint that I've already picked out.
Emily:Well, I mean, our brain is literally wired to do that exact thing. It is kind of wired to put things in boxes so that it can save energy, but if you're constantly just putting things in boxes and not thinking about why or how or any of those things about why it's labeled that certain way, then anytime anything remotely similar comes up in your, in your life, then you're just going to continue to label it as such. Especially if you don't question these labels that you're giving things in the first place. And so, like Matty said, that can really create a lot of rigid, rigid thinking and a very rigid world view if you're just like, Oh yeah, it's that, meh, but you're not allowing for the vastness of uniqueness that exists here on the earth plane and especially within people. And there is, I mean, there's so much, so much variation in the uniqueness. It's pretty much just incredible.
Matty:Yeah, dualism is either this or that. That's the rigid view of it. And there's not a lot of allowing for gray area. And it's one thing to kind of work your way through this and be like, Oh, this is that, and that's this. Okay, I understand. But if you never go back to see if that first assumption you made is, really truly correct for you? Or really truly how it is? Or go back and say, Hey I thought this was this, but there's gray areas, so what's really happening here? If you never like want to further understand, then you're going to be stuck in this very This is this, that is that, only that way, move forward, everything's separate, we are not together. And we're gonna give some examples and you'll be like, oh yeah, I've heard that, I've heard this. In the end, dualism and dualism thinking, it creates a lot of separation. And there's not much room for us to share in this world together because there's too many labels being thrown around. And it's tough to grow together if we're thinking this way. This is the, the consciousness that we're kind of evolving out of. And we're starting to see more unity, more connectedness, more, we're here to grow together. Seeing ourselves in a symbiotic relationship with our planet.
Emily:Sure. Hope we are.
Matty:I know that there are more and more people thinking this way. And I sure hope that more and more and more of us do.
Emily:Well, what I feel like is really happening is that there's more allowance for individuality and the uniqueness on the planet.
Matty:Absolutely.
Emily:I feel like that's like a big shift that's happening right now. There's a lot of people that are like, wait a minute. I don't want to fit into that box anymore. I don't want to make this other person's dream come true. I have the ability to make my own dream come true. And so that is stepping more into your uniqueness and your individuality. And I think there's a lot more allowance for that. I think that's part of what the internet has done is it's allowed a platform for this individuality and this uniqueness to really come through and shine. And I think it's really exciting. I know, you know, a lot of Older ways of thinking is like, what, no, you're supposed to work at that factory until you die. And that's, that's the life you're supposed to live.
Matty:It's the way we've always done it.
Emily:Exactly. That's the way we've always done it. So therefore we should keep doing it that way. Well, I got news for you. The way we've always done it isn't working, so we have to find these new ways of doing things. But I digress because that's something I feel very passionate about is that I really would love to see everyone in the world stepping up, doing their passions, like really stepping into their personal power. Like how much happier and just what a much better world it would be to live in if everyone was like following their passions and being uniquely them.
Matty:And on that note, we are so complex. Each one of us are super complex and dualism is, it's of the simplistic mind. It's where we were. It's where mass consciousness was. But now we can take our individual complexity, and like Emily said, we have the internet. It's not that you're an individual standing more out in your community or your village, and you might affect a couple people around there. Now we have the opportunity to see all of this uniqueness all around the world and be affected by it, to share in it, to realize more and more and more that I'm not the only one that thinks differently. I'm not the only one that tried to try to fit in that box and it didn't work for me and I need another solution. And whoa, there's a solution in a neighboring state or a neighboring country or halfway around the world. Look at how they're doing things. That looks awesome. That feels good. I want to try that now. That's some of the richly textured beauty of this dualistic world we live in and how much is going on and how much uniqueness is within the gray area that we can experience.
Emily:Okay, so let's give some common examples of do like dualistic beliefs and just dual dualistic thinking in general.
Matty:Let's start with the the dualism like the thinking in general then kind of where we've come from where we are and then let's get we'll jump into the progression of the beliefs and stuff.
Emily:Okay. So good versus evil.
Matty:Right and wrong.
Emily:Positive and negative.
Matty:Healthy or toxic.
Emily:Success is the only thing that matters and everything else is failure.
Matty:If you ain't first, you're last. Men are strong. Women are emotional.
Emily:Spirituality is completely different from the material world.
Matty:You're either with me or you're against me.
Emily:Your passions and a job are different. You can't have both together.
Matty:Now in those examples, did you feel any room to fit in between there? There's not much when it comes to dualism. You're either this or you're that. There's not much room for anything else. And there's, I mean, somebody might think that thinking is right for them. I'm good, so therefore that's evil, or something. But it doesn't leave much room for anything else. And in duality, both are usually true. Both sexes are strong. Both sexes are emotional. It's part of life here. One sex doesn't get to own one thing or the other. Uh uh.
Emily:Yeah.
Matty:We as humans are evolving past this. There are plenty enough of us that are awakening to see through the limitingness that comes with strict dualism thinking, and where we've come from as a mass consciousness. There is so much learning in the gray area in between this rigid dualism thinking. Let's jump into some examples that we can learn through experiencing duality and not being stuck in this rigid box of either this or that.
Emily:Well, I just want to say one thing like the beauty of this gray area. I mean, it doesn't sound beautiful because it's gray, but the beauty of the gray area is realizing that one person can be healthy and toxic. One person has positive and negative attributes, but it doesn't make them one or the other. We are all, all of it. And so that is the beauty of this gray area, is realizing that we can be all the things, but we don't necessarily have to be just one thing. And that is the box that we are not wanting to fit in anymore, I think as a whole is the collective conscious.
Matty:We are moving from either or to this and.
Emily:Both and.
Matty:Both and. Thank you. That's the more proper way. I totally agree. Thank you for bringing that up.
Emily:So I just wanted to say that, like the gray area is also about realizing that divinity isn't just good. I mean, divinity includes all the things as well.
Matty:Everything's divinity, if we want to jump down that rabbit hole.
Emily:Yeah.
Matty:Divinity makes room. Unconditional love makes room for everything. Good and evil, because we both are it. It's a part of creation. Positive and negative, love and hate. All of this stuff that we're experiencing in here, it's all divine. It's all part of creation. It's all part of God, Goddess, the universe, in my opinion.
Emily:Yes, and by focusing on one side or the other, then you're allowing for that side to be more dominant in your life
Matty:Well, either way, you're denying part of creation, part of divinity by just accepting one side of it You're you're turning around at the same time and being like this is acceptable to acceptable to me god But that's not. And that's fine if you don't like that aspect of it, but it's still part of divine creation
Emily:Yeah, and that's a huge denial too. I mean, it's kind of like, Oh, la, la, la, la, la, la, that doesn't exist. But I also think that just because something isn't something that you really want, you don't have to like fully immerse yourself in it either. And so you can in this life choose what you want to focus on more and what you can allow into your life. I mean, I think that's part of free will as well. You can say, I don't want to be around haters and you can choose to, you can make that choice. But the more, if you are constantly focused on that, then guess what? You're going to be surrounded by, by haters. I don't know. That was a weird example, but.
Matty:Well, you, but I feel like it is an example. You amplify. And even denying something is a focus on that so you amplify that which you are trying to deny or don't like or don't accept. So if you just accept that all of duality is part of divine creation, you can then focus on what feels best to you. You can focus on your desires and how you fit in that if you're willing to accept that it's all here for our growth. It's all part of the divine plan. I don't enjoy every aspect of duality, but I do accept that it's all here for my growth, for that potential of experiential knowledge. I "thinks" the slight difference in there.
Emily:Yeah. And I think that's a good segue to the examples of why we even have duality in the first place and what you can actually learn from duality. So, one is you can appreciate the warmth of the sun because you know the chill and the night is coming.
Matty:You can appreciate the, when spring breaks because you've experienced a bleak long winter.
Emily:You can appreciate love more because you've experienced hate.
Matty:I like this one a lot. Appreciating the kindness of a stranger after experiencing the betrayal of a friend.
Emily:Yeah. Just think how much harder that would hit after experiencing betrayal. Like someone could be kind to you without that and you're just like, Oh, thanks. You know, and, and you could be grateful for it, but after that it could be so much more meaningful to you. Almost like the universe is like trying to
Matty:Send a message through a stranger. Yeah through a random act of kindness.
Emily:Yeah. Yeah, totally. If you've had like a series of relationships where you had zero communication, then being in a relationship where you can communicate openly and feel very heard and understood with a partner, you can appreciate that more.
Matty:Appreciating having trust in your partnership because you know what it's like to have been cheated on or betrayed or lied to inside a partnership. Whatever that relationship is, love, friendship, family. But when you have that trust, you can appreciate it more if you've experienced the other side of not having it.
Emily:You can.
Matty:Appreciating peace, because there's also war in this world. These are some of the harsh differences in the reality of duality, but that age old saying, how can you appreciate something if you don't know its opposite, holds very true in this. Really appreciating the peaceful times, because you know that somewhere in the world there might be war.
Emily:And this is kind of on the same note, but appreciating the mundaneness of life because you've had an extended period of chaos where just, it seems like one thing after another keeps happening and you're just exhausted and fried from it. And you're like, Oh my gosh, finally I've had all this time in this space where nothing's happening. I mean, I can just. Do my thing and there's not a lot of chaos happening.
Matty:Yeah, that was one, uh, took me a while to learn to just be content and peaceful within the mundaneness of life as I came out of chaos and chaotic events. I mean, my, my early childhood and up through my twenties were pretty chaotic, you know, and I mean, I know a lot of us create some chaos running through, especially our teens and twenties, but definitely settling more into my thirties and realizing, Oh, I kind of like having a groove. I kind of like mundane's not such a bad word to me anymore. There is peacefulness within it. That's beautiful. Thanks. So learning to find your unique balance and coexisting with induality is, is tricky. It just can be.
Emily:And it's going to be different for everyone, that balance.
Matty:Yeah. Somebody might be able to tell you about theirs and it helps you with yours, but we are all unique and our balance point is usually unique, even if it is similar to someone else's. But it's, it's unique. It's you. We really, truly are all unique individuals on the inside. Everything that we've gone through, all the experiences that we've had over our multitudinous of lifetimes here on Earth and elsewhere. So incorporating your experiential knowledge of living in duality of, so incorporating these things into your reality is to become more aware of who you are. And remember, we said that your soul knew what it was getting into when it came here. You also took on spiritual amnesia, so you forgot that you knew the plan, but there was a plan of experience of growth to happen.
Emily:I think there's a loose plan, but then you also have free will.
Matty:Exactly. It is a loose plan because of free will.
Emily:So that can just like, you know, throw everything off the cuff.
Matty:But I guess what I was getting at is in being in duality, like being you, the beingness of being you is the aim of why your soul chose to come have life here.
Emily:That is expressing your true divinity.
Matty:Yes. Thank you. That's a prettier way to say what I was trying to get across. So coming here and expressing your uniqueness of divinity is the aim. It's the hope and it's tricky to do.
Emily:It is. It's so tricky with all the conditioning and all the advice and all of the this and the that and the this way and that way and fit into this box. It's like this, and like that, and like this, and like that, and like this, and like that.
Matty:I was totally thinking it too. So you take all this duality, and you're trying to find your unique expression of divinity with this balance point within it. And we kind of gave you some examples of dualism thinking, then some things you could kind of learn while here in duality. You know, some themes you could pick up. But once you incorporate this.
Emily:Integrate it into your being.
Matty:I guess what that could look like is being able to experience the spiritual here in the material world. No longer viewing them as separate entities, but seeing the divinity of
Emily:everything, of
Matty:everything, of being in duality. Of how much can be learned and grown from and gleaned and enjoyed and knowing enjoyment because you've also known sadness. I mean, it's all wrapped up together. And I think that one of the big things is that we can finally. see how we experience divinity within this physical material world when for so long they've been viewed as separate things.
Emily:Well, and I think it's easier when you're watching this epic sunset or looking at a rainbow. It's easy to see the divinity in that, but can you look in the mirror and see the divinity within yourself? Can you feel the divinity in your unique traits and your characteristics when you're doing your thing and like really in it? Expressing your gifts to the world.
Matty:Can you see the divinity in your challenges? Or those that are challenging you?
Emily:That's a good one. So let's talk about dualistic beliefs versus limited beliefs. In this episode so far, we've talked a lot about dualism. And we've talked about the differences in this rigid way of thinking and how dualism can affect your life. But now let's look at dualistic beliefs and what they are and how they affect your life as well. And then we're going to talk about limited beliefs as well and how they differ from dualistic beliefs. So dualistic beliefs can be or are limiting in nature, but they oppose a desire that you have. And they put the power in the hands of something outside of yourself. And we will be giving some examples of each of these.
Matty:Whereas limiting beliefs are the limitations you put on yourself that aren't true or are an illusion.
Emily:And another way of thinking about this is dualistic beliefs are limited beliefs living by proxy of something else.
Matty:I like that.
Emily:So here are some examples of some dualistic beliefs. And some of these are very common. And some of these we see very often in our work and with working with clients and just in our family and friends in general. So one could be, I want a really deep love connection with someone. And then the other side of that is you also hold a belief that people end up always abandoning me. And so these two ways of thinking work against each other because you're saying you want this love connection, but then you have this deeply held belief that if people always end up abandoning you then why would you want to get in this love connection in the first place? So it works in opposition to what you actually want.
Matty:Yeah, that's key. It's working in opposition to what you want. Something like having dreams of being married and having a family and also feeling or believing I can't imagine being with one person my whole life.
Emily:Or I want to create my own business doing what I'm passionate about. I can't because I worked my way up to high earnings in my current job and you don't get a second chance at making this kind of money.
Matty:Or how about, the only way to get to the top is by bringing down other people. I want to get to the top, but don't have what it takes.
Emily:Or I have a desire to travel and see the world. But that's only for wealthy people.
Matty:Or something like, I want to make more money, but you can only make money if you're a doctor or a lawyer, own your own business or whatever other prestigious profession you can think of in this moment right now that you don't have.
Emily:Or money is the root of all evil. I want more money, but I don't want to be evil.
Matty:That's commonplace. Yeah. Or the belief that money is a finite resource and there isn't enough money to go around. So you don't get to take part in this finite resource.
Emily:And so as you can see in all of these examples, there are two sides of the coin. There are thoughts that are in opposition to each other that are preventing unity in the thought.
Matty:And so, excuse me, please go.
Emily:And then we were going to move on to just some examples of limiting beliefs, and a lot of these are very common. Um, I'm too old to go back to college or change careers.
Matty:I'm not worthy of being happy, loved, successful.
Emily:Or I don't get to be happy. That's for other people.
Matty:As long as people need me because of what I do for them, they won't abandon me and I won't be alone.
Emily:Or I'm only loved for what I can do, not for who I am.
Matty:And as you can see, this is simply limiting yourself, not through someone else. You're just limiting yourself in these examples.
Emily:And both limiting beliefs and dualistic beliefs can keep you stuck in your personal life. And that's why we really wanted to do a whole episode on these, because if you are recognizing yourself in any of these, then there are ways to heal these beliefs, these dualistic and these limiting beliefs so that you can create the life that you want. You can create your desires. You can have this passionate job where you make all the money that you want. These things are possible for you, but sometimes there are these dualistic beliefs and limited beliefs that oppose or serve as blocks to what you want and that what you're trying to manifest. And it is about healing these blocks in order to create the life of your dreams.
Matty:Healing is just becoming aware, like, Oh, I have this belief that's opposing what I want. And then looking for the root cause of that belief and finding it, and then understanding and making awareness that this isn't true. You brought this belief from somewhere else and made it true. You've been holding this illusion in place. Discovering these dualistic beliefs within you does require some inner world travel. A willingness to ask yourself questions that challenge your thinking and belief system. And not having what you want in life is a clue to having a dualistic belief opposing your desires. So if you're not aware of your belief system that's in place, but you are aware of what you want, but you don't have it, then you can start to look at your actions? Are you taking the right ones? Is there a belief in place that's holding this off? Is there a block here?
Emily:And a lot of times these, well, sometimes these can be conscious beliefs. Oftentimes they are either unconscious beliefs or just things that you just took on unquestioningly from a parent or a caregiver growing up. And this is especially true when it comes to your beliefs about relationships, your beliefs about money, your beliefs about the way the world is in religion.
Matty:Oh yeah.
Emily:So we are just challenging you to think about these beliefs. Think about these things that are running programs in your life, or running on repeat in your mind. And so that's all we're simply saying is just become aware of these things. Because like Matty said, if there are things in your life that are not coming into fruition, things that you desire, things that you want to manifest, then that is a humongous clue that, that you do have some dualistic beliefs. Or limiting beliefs that are running programs unconsciously within your brain.
Matty:When you're thinking about this and understanding that you chose to come here and experience duality, you chose the family that you were born into, so what is it you're here to learn? If you're looking for, you know, more wholeness around a theme in life, well, what are the themes that were passed down can start to give you clues to what you're here working on. What the beliefs could be because you're setting yourself up for these things to be instilled in you so then you can become aware later and work through it. It's a good idea to think back to, were their sayings in your family? What were their belief systems? What was passed down? That can be a huge one for our life here. These limiting beliefs and dualistic beliefs can come oftentimes from intense past life experiences where the emotional connection is still there because it was never healed or resolved.
Emily:Yeah, and if this sounds like something that could be prevalent in your life, then you could book a past life regression session. And these are extremely healing sessions where we can help guide you to this root cause and guide you to these answers. And if that resonates with you, then
Matty:I'll have a link in the description for you to follow. We're accepting bookings through the month of December. And just to, I'll put this out there, like my most recent client came seeking the root cause for their lack of connection with their spirit guides, with others, and having a life partner. The past life we revisited. It revealed that early on their father died at an early age for them. And then as they grew older, we got to experience this intense, deep, loving relationship that they had, but unfortunately it was tragically taken from them out of their control way too early because of an accident at work. And they took on the belief that love always abandons them. And they carried this belief over into this lifetime. So they came wanting answers around this theme in their life. And then we got to visit a past life that showed them the root cause for this. And then at the end we went and met with their spirit guide. And of course, I'm going to bring it up. What was the connection we were looking for here? Why did we see this life? And the spirit guide's answer was, to show the root cause for this. And that this moment was never meant to be taken and held onto and made as the truth for them. It's just, when we're here experiencing duality, it, it was just a moment that hurt deeply and that's how they were able to deal with it. They found ways to have enjoyment and love through other areas in their life, but not in a loving partnership way but now they're aware of this and they get to heal this root cause through their awareness, through understanding that this is not the truth for them. This is just a belief that they brought over.
Emily:Yeah. And it's through that healing and that integration of that new awareness is what helps really transform your life. Because any time you start to maybe go back into that faulty way of thinking, you think, oh wait, I know the root of this. I know where this came from, and that is not true. Exactly. And the more you start to tell yourself that that's not true, that is not true in your life now, that is no longer true, then you can help really shift and transform your entire life. And to have more emotional connection in the here and now with this specific example.
Matty:Wonderfully put. You can see the lie taking place inside your own self, right?
Emily:Yeah. And then you become the observer of it.
Matty:Exactly.
Emily:And by becoming the observer of it, it like kind of takes the power away from it because you're no longer like in it. And it's not playing out through you any longer. You're like, wait a minute. I see what's happening now.
Matty:You become empowered. Yeah, definitely. We brought up something in our last episode talking about relationship beliefs and how some people are just assholes. Things just happen and people do things and that their actions say way more about them and very little about you. And that is so true. We talked about how we can take other people's actions and make them mean something about us. But they really don't say much about us. It's really about them. But the little that they do say about us is more about our willingness to explore our inner world to get to the root cause. And I feel like when we're doing this, when we're looking for, what's the nugget in that experience that we've had? Even when somebody is lashing out or acting out against us. This is why for me personally, being able to access the Akashic records and having an energy clearing practice comes in so handy. Because there are times in life that beliefs come from the things we see or the way other people do stuff. And so it's this unintended influencing energy of others. So being able to clear your energy away and get more to the core of where you're at in any moment is huge. It's why the first course that we made: "Embarking on a sacred voyage, navigating spiritual protection with a divine co pilot" was created. Was to teach the basic foundations for what Emily and I use every time we access the Akashic records or anytime that we clear our energy. Calling in a divine co pilot and using that unlimited energy of our ascended masters, Archangels, higher beings like that to help us. And then being able to access the Akashic records allows us to go in and we're here as humans and we have this perception filter, if you will. We view our life through our perceptions and through our beliefs. I'm super lucky to have Emily in my life. We go deep together and she's kind of my accountability buddy. She can call me on my shit. She helps me see things more clearly. But when we're working alone, we have our belief system, our perceptions in the way when we're doing this inner world travel, when we're trying to get to these root causes. But accessing the records is accessing the truth of a situation or an event that's taken place. And we can kind of put down this lens or this filter of perceptions and beliefs and get to the truth of root causes I think much easier with our guides in the records.
Emily:Absolutely. So it's really powerful working in the Akashic Records and working with your spirit guides. These are the guides that have known you your entire existence, and so they have a very strong idea of what it is that you are wanting to achieve on a soul level.
Matty:Your own intuition and gut instinct would probably be helping you out with this one too. But the Akashic Records contain the truth of what happened, as well as the perspectives of the parties involved. Whereas we can only come from our perspective or our conditioning as a human being. And that can be really tricky when we're working with our own intuition and developing that and trusting in that is that we're also working through our own filters. So accessing the Akashic records can really help, in my opinion, boost big time the trust factor and get right to the truth of things. If you have any interest in taking charge of your energetic well being, I'll make sure there's a link to our Introduction to Spiritual Protection course in the description as well. And if you enjoyed this show, make sure to pass it along to a friend. We sure love sharing our knowledge and our experiences and deep diving into subjects that matter to us and that matter to everyone we think. I thought this was a fun exploration of navigating duality and dualistic beliefs and examples of what they could look like.
Emily:Thanks everyone so much for joining us. We really enjoyed talking about this topic and if this is something that resonates with you, just know that you are not alone. That we all have dualistic thinking and limited beliefs and it's about becoming aware of them. And do this inner work and inner exploration so that we can really heal these and be on the receiving end of the life of our dreams.
Matty:So know that when you're looking for your unique balance point so are we all. Thank you for joining us today.
Emily:Yeah. Thanks so much for listening.
Matty:We'll catch you next week.
