Brinke has been involved in the film business since 1981 with her debut in Roger Corman’s “Slumber Party Massacre”. Since then, she’s had featured roles in almost 300 movies, many of them fantasy and horror, earning her the title of Scream Queen. She’s been featured in numerous documentaries, including “The Psycho Legacy” and “Exploit This! The History of Cult Cinema”. Brinke was Executive Editor at “Weird Tales” magazine; wrote a sci-fi novel, “Dangerous Toys”. She has recorded dozens of audiobooks and radio plays, co-produced two horror documentaries (“Shock Cinema” and “Something to Scream About”), and also wrote and directed a psychological horror film, “Personal Demons” (2022). Most recently, she has directed a Full Moon feature film, “Sorority Babes 2” (2023).
