Speaker 1:

We're going to dive deep into this topic because it is near and dear to my heart Content planning with an intuitive twist, because we're not just talking about what to post when your cart is open. So that means, like, what to post like when you are selling something. But I want you to learn how to cultivate genuine excitement and anticipation months and in advance of a launch, so that can be launching a group program, it could be launching a community, it can be launching one-on-ones, whatever it might be. I want people to be your raving fans by the time you open that cart, so that they are really ready to buy. So I think that this is so important for us as intuitive entrepreneurs because, let's be honest, we are not exactly known for our love of rigid schedules and cookie cutter strategies. Right, we thrive on creativity and flow, but that doesn't mean that we can't have a plan. In fact, it's. Having a solid context strategy actually gives us more freedom to tap into our intuition and be creative, because we're not creating from that rushed, overwhelmed place. We're looking at it strategically and if you're listening to this as it comes out, we are at the end of 2024, moving into 2025. And it is a great time to be thinking of what you are selling in the upcoming months so that you can start following this process, so that when you open the cart you feel really solid in everything that you put out there and people are ready to buy. Because oftentimes what happens is we open up the cart to whatever we are selling and it's a slow trickle and that gets in our heads and that kind of affects our mindset and that makes our energy tank and then we don't feel like we can go all in on the launch and it turns into this mess of just not feeling successful in whatever we are selling.

Speaker 1:

Let's talk about this like long game approach to content. What can you be doing three months before launch to set yourself up for success? One thing I love to do within my own content and within the content for the agency is to start weaving in subtle hints about what the upcoming offer is within our content. So it's not in a salesy way, but it's in a way that we are sharing stories and insights and testimonials and behind the scenes and it's giving people in our audience glimpses as to what their problem is and how our offer solves that problem. So it's like planting these little seeds of curiosity, so that when you're finally ready to announce your launch, these seeds have fully grown and you have something to offer people and they are ready to buy. So the other thing that I try to prioritize within our content and our clients' content is focusing on building a deeper connection with our audiences during these months leading up to our launch. So I prioritize creating content that really speaks to them and helps them feel seen and understood. So it's all about building trust and resonance long before you ever ask for the sale. So that's that know and trust that a lot of people in marketing talk about. You want that done before you ask them to buy something from you, because otherwise you just fall into the noise of everybody else that is selling. The other thing, too, is that when you are building an authentic and genuine connection with your audience, you are going to be prioritized within their feed and within their social media and they're going to be able to see you more and you're going to be top of mind for them.

Speaker 1:

So before we get too deep into the strategy, I want to take a quick pause and talk in how I'm currently weaving in my intuitive practice into our launching season. So this is really important to us because the energetics are just as important as the strategy. I have been we have been in a season in the agency of launching and setting up a lot of the background things that make the agency run. But within the last month, I've been working on a practice called Empty Presence and it's a way to clear my own energy and it has just been a game changer because it is a quick meditation in which I listen to and I focus on, just like clearing out all the energy that I've picked up along the way of other people, my kids, all the things that I'm thinking about, so that when I sit down to my work, I am creating from a clear and focused place. It is not perfect. Again, it is a practice and it's something that I have to remember to prioritize, because when I get so caught up in the to-do list of all the things that need to be done, I want to check those off, but then I'm coming at it from this really overwhelmed or chaotic space. So I encourage you to find something that, before you're creating your content, you are dedicating yourself to in order to really get in touch with your physical body, your intuition, so that you are creating from a space of clarity and knowing, instead of a space of maybe lack or searching for the right answers, because what we know to be true is that best and best for your business, and you just have to clear that channel so that you can hear what it is that your intuition is like pointing you in the direction of doing so. I really encourage you to find ways to bring your own healing and intuitive practice into your business, because it makes such a difference. It makes such a difference in building something that is actually sustainable and something that actually feels good to you.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so let's get back to the strategy of content planning. If you are a note taker, this is where you want to get out your notebook, write this down. I will try to create a resource that we can put in the note section here, but this is also a great place just to give a plug for our intuitive business community to come in and join so that we can help you. Like, you don't have to hire a coach for $10,000. You don't have to hire somebody that's going to give you, buy a new program for this, like in the intuitive business community. This is what we do and this is how we support people. I do a content session once a month. We have a school community where people can ask these things. So it's I want you to be able to take notes today and have these really actionable steps, but then always remember we are here to support you. Also, just if you're listening to this, find me on Instagram and send me a message at Meg O'Neill 10, and I will help you with anything along this actionable plan. So if you are three months out from your launching of whatever this program is, I want you to think of that part as the foundation. This is where you want to start to identify your client's biggest pain points.

Speaker 1:

And now, when I say that with a caveat, we're not going to dig into people's pain points, but understanding where they're having trouble is going to help you with your storytelling. So let me give you an example of that. It's not to say to point at you are so overwhelmed with excuse me X, y and Z and you feel and just keep piling on their overwhelm. It's to be able to get into their head in a way, and get really clear on what the stories or the situations that they've been experiencing, so that you can storytell around that so say you are a fitness coach and you're saying, okay, I am a fitness coach and I will help you lose weight. Okay, great, there's a lot of people that are looking for that, right.

Speaker 1:

But what if you say something on? You're trying on your jeans and they are just feeling like they are suffocating you and you are ready to toss them in the garbage and be totally done with them. I am here to help you feel like the next time you put on a pair of jeans. They are super comfortable and you are moving and grooving without any pain. So I just use that as a quick example, because that's something that I've experienced this weekend and putting on something and feeling really uncomfortable and it gets you. That's something that I can envision and say, yep, I've had that experience. This person gets me. So it helps inform your storytelling.

Speaker 1:

So what are the things that are keeping them up at night? What are the things that they're really passionate? Really tune into those things so that you can start laying that foundation and speaking to them in a language that they understand. So next part of the foundation is starting to create content that actually addresses those pain points. So one example would be like that story. You could use that in a carousel post, you could use that in your Instagram stories, you could write blog posts, you can create videos around these things.

Speaker 1:

And then the third part is subtly start hinting that you're working on an offer that is going to address these problems. So you don't have to, you don't have to dive right into giving away all the information, because people need people. I don't want to say need, but think that slow burn of starting to see what you have and then diving into what is going to be the program or offering that you have. You think of it like flirting. If somebody goes hard right away, it's a little bit of a turn off. It might be. So you want to start slow, build that relationship with them and then give them the offer Now, month two, so we're two months out for an offer or whatever you're selling.

Speaker 1:

You want to start building that anticipation. You want to get them really excited. You want to start sharing the behind the scenes content. Show them what you're working on. Show them create b-roll of you typing out the program or you actually embodying the program that you're creating. Oftentimes, whatever you are creating is something that you have lived through, that you have a transformation around. So start sharing that and showing that and getting them excited about having a glimpse on what's the process, what's your inspiration. The reason why they're choosing to work with you is because you are an inspiration to them. You have created something that really speaks to them and there's these little subtle pieces of it that get them to say, ooh, that's for me. So make sure you're showing that, not just like what I often see is people go totally behind the scenes, create something without sharing anything about it, then put it up on a website and say, hey, I have this thing for sale and people are like, why would I buy it from them? You have to start showing them how you are so embodied in this work.

Speaker 1:

The next part for building anticipation is continue to incorporate that storytelling. Start sharing more of the personal anecdotes or like the client success through storytelling around what you have to offer. So if you are launching, like a group program or something you want to have had, at least some people go through whatever this, like signature processes that you have, so that you can share whether and maybe it's not too many other clients, but it is yourself. So you want to be able to share these personal anecdotes and say I took myself from here to here so that people can see themselves in that transformation. And then the last part is of month two, and this plan would be like increasing your engagement, really starting to ask questions, really watching other that. You know the people who are watching your stories on Instagram watch their stories, converse with them, have conversation, but let it be authentic and genuine. Make sure that you're answering any comments that you get on your posts or videos. If people are asking any questions or comments in those posted videos, make response content back to them so that they know that you are really engaged around this topic. And then, a month before the launch this is where the excitement really builds Start creating content around the launch date.

Speaker 1:

When are you going to open the doors to this event? Get people excited, make it feel like a party, have high energy, show people that you are really excited about what you're bringing into the world and then you can start sharing more specific details about your offer. What are they going to learn in this process? How is it going to help them? You can again showcase more testimonials, tell stories around that and then get them really excited that they are going to have this opportunity to be part of whatever it is that you are doing.

Speaker 1:

And then the other part is creating a sense of urgency. You can do this and you can do this really ethically. Maybe it is tuning into your intuition and picking a max number of people that you can have in the program, or maybe it is again tuning into your intuition and getting really clear on what an early bird discount or bonus could be. This is going to create a sense of urgency when you start sharing it, so that people join as soon as you open the doors, and that helps most people keep their energy really high during a launch, and that's what we want. We want you to be able to run through the finish line. That's what I like to tell people. So the beginning of a launch can feel really exciting because you get people to sign up. Middle tends to like taper off a little bit. And then the end. You have to make sure that you keep your energy high and run through that finish line so that you still have people signing up at the end. Okay, so that is a wrap on another episode of our intuitive marketing podcast.

Speaker 1:
