Speaker 1:

How do you balance the energy of dreaming big and bringing manifestations into your business with the trust and discipline of making those dreams a reality through action?

Speaker 2:

Business coaches will tell you to set realistic goals or smart goals, track your stats and stay grounded in reality. But if you're an intuitive business owner, you also want to be focused on bringing in the frequency of receiving huge results almost delusional and that's what we're going to dig into today. Hey there, friends, welcome to the Intuitive Marketing Podcast, where we ditch the bro marketing BS and bring you big sister vibes instead. I'm Meg.

Speaker 1:

And this is Chelsea, your new biz besties.

Speaker 2:

We met on TikTok in 2023. Fast forward to now and we have teamed up here to guide you through the wild world of marketing your business with heart and soul.

Don't worry, we've got your back. Speaker 2:

We're actually here to help you bring the magic back into your marketing.

Speaker 1:

Because marketing should feel good, not gross.

Speaker 2:

Grab your favorite drink, get comfy and let's get started.

Speaker 1:

So welcome back. We're so excited to have you. Maybe you are truly growing a movement bigger than you can explain right now. So how do you stay grounded in all of that needs to be done while also giving yourself permission and space to dream big and receive even more than you can even articulate?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think how to maintain the belief in where you're going with your business, in the vision you have for how many people you're gonna help with, like that next level, how to maintain that belief even when the current state of evidence is not matching, that's really the underlying topic for today. The challenge it's. The challenge is how do you create in your business and create a movement and create abundance, maybe when the number of yeses or the bank account or the something is not reflecting in this moment, and trusting that it's gonna come?

Speaker 1:

Because I really believe your desires are divine and they're given to you. So if you have this desire to build this massive movement, or even if it's, you have this desire to build this on a scale might not seem like massive in people's eyes, but it feels so massive in your heart, like it is there for a reason.

Speaker 2:

I think that's a really good point, because sometimes when you hear the word, I feel like the word scaling and scalable it's overused and maybe vague in the online business space because I feel like there has been, I don't know, it just might not feel like where you're ready to say you want to go and you may never want to. You might be like I want to make a good living doing what I love and that feels good to me, like a good living might feel very different than that, but being in a space where you're allowing yourself to dream big and allowing yourself to recognize the synchronicities, the signs, the nudges from the universe that you're on the right path and not talking yourself out of taking the action because, oh, today's results didn't match where I would have to be to get to where I'm going.

Speaker 1:

You have to build the foundation, yeah, Like you have to build the pathway, and sometimes it just takes that acknowledgement of that. You want to be on the path that things will start to shift and move you in that way. So that's the unseen, the trust. Like those are all the really hard parts to learn and build. Like it's very easy quote unquote easy for us to sit down and say I want a business, so I'm going to start an LLC, I'm going to start an Instagram page right, but let's like we're going to dive into more talking about understanding the trust and the practices that you need to put in place so you can stay grounded while also holding a really big vision. It's the hard part.

Speaker 2:

That's the hard part. It's the hard part. That's the hard part. We thought we would just share a couple stories of ways that we lean into this day to day and maybe even some other areas of our life where really trusting the process and leaning into the manifestation has made all the difference and something that I've been doing. One of the ways that I bring intuitive ritual into my day is consciously consuming from where I'm going to receive information. So, yes, I like doom scroll. I'm like every other person. You're a good conscious consumer. Yeah, but what's been? I really try to just lean into what's feeling. Right in the moment, there are three books. I've been talking about these three books for like months because I just intuitively ping into them in between, reading my like romance-y smut or Nora Roberts like fiction. Right, I love Nora Roberts. We never talked about that.

Speaker 2:

I heard you on today Like cancel everything. I have a new Kindle, but the three books that I've been pinging between, they're all on my Kindle. I open them up. One is called Love Money, money Loves you or that's actually an audio book that I'm listening to, and then it's Easier to 10X Than 2X, which is much more like entrepreneurial path. And then Mary Magdalene Revealed like three very different topics, right, yeah, very revealed.

Speaker 2:

Like three very different topics, right, yeah, very. But what I have had a spiritual relationship with these three books for the past several months, like I remember new year's morning waking up, my husband and I had gone out the night before to celebrate our anniversary and I he was sleeping in and I was just like I'll just let him be cozy. And so I pulled out my kindle and was like what am I meant to read this morning? And it was, it's easier to 10x than 2x and I was like really that feels a little heavy for this minute. But I read a whole chapter before he woke up and it was like just earth-shaking for me to receive that topic on January 1st If I had just read a fiction book to be cozy. That message was meant to come through to me.

Speaker 1:

And so really, trusting that.

Speaker 2:

And then every time I'm driving around grappling with something around business, if I pop into listening to Love Money Loves you, it's always the exact topic that I'm struggling with, like investing in something or hiring, like it's not even like a business book, but she talks about a lot of the rules of money being around, how you give service and how you grow a business, and so I'll hear something be like oh fuck, that's exactly what I need to hear right now, and it just feels like a sign from the universe. And so I think that is a way that I have always had a very weird relationship with of how I consume books or how I consume courses. I like ping into them very intuitively and be like oh, that's why I bought this whole course, was for that one module, and now I'm done with it.

Speaker 1:

It's so funny because when I was little, I used to do that with the Bible and although I would go to the Bible and I would open it and just like wherever my finger would land, I'd be like that's what God wants, yeah. So although I don't do that with the Bible anymore, I still have a very similar book practice, mm hmm, we just saw it play out If anybody had been following our journey of moving into our.

Speaker 2:

Don't do that with the Bible anymore. I still have a very similar book practice. We just saw it play out if anybody had been following our journey of moving into our new house. So we're now living in a new house and we just saw it was just such a massive up level and it happened. That was wild to watch From the outside.

Speaker 2:

People are like how did that even happen? And I chronicled it in my other podcast, the Intuitive Business by Design and people were like I can't wait to hear the next one. But I was just in such deep commitment to morning meditation and prayer and putting out St Joseph under the for sale sign under the full moon, with my husband and him being like what are we doing? Wait? And it worked in such full trust and belief that this was going to be such a powerful shift for our family that putting the energy each day into being in that frequency was like more important to me than researching lighting or figuring out what, yeah, we want. Yeah, that stuff will come. But I was just like I'm putting in the time and the energy to being in the frequency of receiving this shift and it was powerful, and now we are like so much happier and healthier in this house.

Speaker 1:

I love that. I think the frequency conversation is so important. So what I start my? I don't start my day with this, but I start my work day with a sacred start of tuning in to I really ground myself with my meditation and then I do this practice of emptying out where I picture above my head and pushing everybody's energy out of my energy, and then I connect to the universe or who my spirit guides and things like that and let whatever comes through. And then I do a journal writing practice and then, uh, typing like not typing like a typewriter, computer practice and when I am, and I also like envision how my day is going to go and my manifestation. So it is a commitment like it is.

Speaker 1:

I'm having a really hard time right now figuring out like how I can also move my body and do all these things. And but I also feel like all of a sudden, with our desire and our intention to like partner in this way, I was able to really see this much bigger vision than what I was able to hold on my own. So in order for me to stay on that track, I know I have to work with my frequency and movement and all those things are very important, but I knew I had to get this like morning practice, like down really pat, and I have been doing that and one of on one of the days I was inviting in Mary Magdalene and this is even though, if somebody came and found our podcast and they were like this sounds cool because it's about marketing, like this still is about marketing, even though it doesn't sound necessarily connected of what I was feeling was around how misunderstood she was as somebody who, in the Bible, as Jesus's friend or partner or whatever it might've been Mary Magdalene actually has a whole gospel in the Bible that was taken out and most likely she, her whole message, was about that we are born without sin and we are born that we and love. And what was really coming up is that I was feeling that she wanted us to know that she is so misunderstood, right, and whatever her truth is, the people that know and the people that don't, and that's okay. And she's still going to put her work and vision into the world, while realizing not everyone's going to understand that. And that is something that I need to continue to work to embody so much because I didn't let myself dream as big as I could when I was alone, because it really felt who am I to think that I could start a movement, even when people other people would say that I would cringe and be like, and it was never a reflection of them because I believed so much in their vision. But it hit a nerve in me of, oh god, who could?

Speaker 1:

I think I am to have a movement and within that, along with like, how, with the intuitive, like reading and things like reading books that just come up, that's like what I very much believe with, like podcasts or anything that comes into our path, they come into it for a reason and I had been on a kick.

Speaker 1:

Actually, I was listening to one of my mentors, sarahenks, on the boss brand, the boss babe podcast, and I was. I got this ping of oh wait, what we're doing can be like the boss babe movement. This is a movement we are bringing together intuitive entrepreneurs, not like that could be anybody that could be. You could have a farm stand and be an intuitive entrepreneur. Like it does not have to be, just like psychics, healers like these are. We're calling together people who believe that they can guide their business from this place, who don't have to burn out in order to grow a movement, who it really was, like these messages that needed to come together for me to integrate and believe OK, I can actually hold this vision and I can also take the grounded in reality steps to move there, yeah, and that's not going to happen tomorrow.

Speaker 1:

Most likely it's going to take the time right, it's going to take the time I wish it could. I know, and I always do hold the belief that I you know, yeah, things do happen quickly.

Speaker 1:

Exactly, energy moves different. It doesn't have to make sense and maybe next week we get invited on to the Boss Babe podcast and our business blows up and there we are. And also, if that doesn't happen, I'm still gonna hold this vision because I believe in it so deeply. So I think that's where you can. Just I hope you can see where we're embodied in this work. We don't I don't talk about my. I show my morning practice sometimes, but like even just to tell that story feels really vulnerable of yeah, that's how.

Speaker 1:

I private yeah it is, yeah, but here's the thing too that's how I guide my life, my we've talked about this before.

Speaker 1:

I've talked about it before my oldest son is autistic and he is 13 years old and when he was diagnosed I knew we weren't going to be choosing to do certain therapies, because that's what my into. I was only 30 years old, I never even knew an autistic person, but I believed so deeply that, in my intuition, is correct as a mom. And now, 10 years later, I'm so happy for those decisions because, yeah, of things that I've learned and so I think you, it takes practice to be able to trust yourself and then you can move that into your business and friendships and life and everything. So it's big. It's much bigger than being able to say hey or it's much. The frequency is so much higher Like, it's much easier for me to come on and say hey, show up on social media, and this is how you do your stories, and I believe that is so important. And also this work, the behind the scenes, the spiritual connection, the dedication to a practice when the world is so loud yeah, the key to being able to manifest what you really desire.

Speaker 2:

One of the I'm going to say, biggest flexes are just things that's feeling really good right now of this holding the bigger vision, bringing intuitive practices in, is that we made? I don't know? I think this was like November, December. It was a very intuitive, channeled experience for me to put together this visual business plan of all the offers and the funnels and it's like this massive Canva thing and I have it open on my desk every single day and we both have it printed out.

Speaker 2:

It's been both of our offices and the fact that Meg trusted me to be like, oh, you channeled this, let's look at it as a real business asset. And then the fact that we both reference back to it. Hey, this came up for me in meditation. I think this is the next funnel we should work on. Or I still muscle test and use my pendulum. Is this the, I ask? Is everything on here still in our highest and best for building this business? Because sometimes it feels overwhelming.

Speaker 2:

It's like a lot of pieces to put together because we have more. We're not just personal brand anymore, and so it is bigger than just being a coach or a healer. It's okay. How do we bring in enough different conversations to be feeding? It? Is that you know we'll go to our agency or our template shop we're gonna be launching, and so it's been really powerful to me that you and I can openly talk about that and be like hey, this is feeling overwhelming, current state, this feels overwhelming, but also I've checked in with my intuitive practices, or your intuitive practices, and still feeling right. So what do we need to do today without getting?

Speaker 1:

overwhelmed.

Speaker 2:

So it's that one of the priorities and then being like OK, let's put this into project management, let's put this into a deadline and make sure that we're moving forward. And I think really the lesson in there is to figure out I don't want to say figure out, that feels very brain-like strategy but to really allow yourself to drop in to feeling the bigger picture and the bigger vision that's coming through now. Then just zoom back out and be like okay, what do I need to do today? Even it happened to your spirit guidance for that. If this is all meant to be here, who am I supposed to speak to today? Yeah, am I supposed to do today because, at the end of the day, we need to both close our laptops and go to bed and feel like we did enough, right, even if the evidence is not showing everything falling into place today.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and it's like really building that trust with ourselves and in our partnership. But for the listener, like I really encourage you to trust those things. So when you're looking at like your week and saying how am I going to get this all done, how can you quiet down, tune in and whatever comes up for you as the email you have to work on, or going to a certain networking thing, really trusting that's where you're meant to be and not calling yourself lazy for not getting enough done and things like that. I think there's a lot of reprogramming we have to do in order to build that trust.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think that's huge is the deprogramming, because so many of us are attached to being productivity assessors. How was your day? Let me tell you the seven things I did. Oh, catching up with a friend, here's the five things. Going on and starting with that frequency and then I think that allows you to set delusional goals. It can feel scary to say that we want to grow this to a seven figure agency in business because, oh gosh, what if that doesn't happen next year? What if people hold us to it Like you can play into all these tapes. But thinking bigger than you currently believe is possible is what every successful entrepreneur says they did and whether they, whether it was scary or exciting or spiritual practice for them, like everyone who you hear that has big businesses now they talk about when they started, dreaming way bigger than they could conceptualize. Right, there's always that turning point for them.

Speaker 1:

And my tell is that it's like calm in my body Like I have. I have never been able to tune into a really delusional vision and also still feel calm in my body, yeah, and then and I can with this Also it still feels scary. It doesn't feel like there's no edge pushing. So that's what helps me. But it's also important to look at what are all the steps and break it down intuitively and like we said, how, looking at if you came to me and was like OK, the Penn site doesn't feel like that funnel, doesn't feel like we need to do that right now, like intuitively, like we have these conversations and then we take the action from there. So we prioritize intuitive, yeah, connection first and then make our goals from there. So we prioritize intuitive, yeah, connection first and then make our goals from there.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, um, yeah, which helps us yeah, and I think that reminder of just creating safety alongside strategy. The other day, when I was feeling some overwhelm, I was like, okay, let me tune into chakra clearing and my root chakra was like lots to be released, and the root chakra in human design and in chakra practice is pressure. I was just feeling like all this pressure that I don't believe was my own right and so taking the time whether it's somatic practice, chakra clearing, meditation, journaling to allow the space to focus on your how you feel as being a higher priority than completing the fifth task on your list today if you need to stop at four and go do some meditation.

Speaker 1:

Go do that so that next day you can open things back up better and finally, just like tracking your progress with grace, and we like monitor, like what we're doing and we don't necessarily get discouraged by not moving as quickly as maybe we hope. We put really quick like timelines on our stuff.

Speaker 1:

But we often hit it and then sometimes we don't, and like we then trust that timeline. But we do spend time like looking back and saying, look at what we have accomplished, like we have. We're on season two. We haven't even been in a partnership for a year. We're already on season two of a podcast we have. You've rebuilt the website twice.

Speaker 2:

I feel like we've launched things we've built with ads right like we have a lot and it's important to look back and see what you've done, like where you can say wait, like I have gotten this. Yeah, came up with a journal prompt today. If you are someone who struggles with this tension between dreaming big and focusing on what's happening in reality right now, is to use this prompt of writing down one quote-unquote delusional goal that feels wildly out of reach but also deeply exciting. Doesn't have to be monetary, could be about launching something, could be about impacting a certain number of people, growing a certain type of community. Write it down and then reflect on why it feels unsafe or scary. What would you need, what would you need to do to feel safe, taking steps towards that, and then, if you can identify just one small intuitive step that you could actually take toward that goal this week, that would be allowing you to go through the process of trusting, feeling safe and taking that inspired action.

Speaker 1:

And if you want to speak that into the universe, send us a voice note, a voice DM on Instagram and we'll just hold that vision for you, because I think that's part of the energetic practice as well.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely. I think that's part of the energetic practice as well.

Speaker 1:

We hope that you found this episode of the Intuitive Marketing Podcast as inspiration to help you bring the magic back into your own marketing. Our goal is for this podcast to be a compass in the chaos. We know that you get bombarded with information options and conflicting ideas out there on the internet streets. We hope you tune into the next episode, where we will be chatting all about the power of consistency showing up without burning out. And if it truly takes 20 plus touches with your brand before someone will buy from you, how do you navigate that consistency and magnetism to be the one people think of when they are ready, without giving away all of your energy to your marketing? I think that's going to be a one people think of when they are ready, without giving away all of your energy to your marketing.

Speaker 2:

I think that we'll see you on the next episode.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's going to be good.
