Contentment is a mystery. Seriously. When Paul says in his letter to the Philippians that he has “learned the secret of being content in any and every situation,” the Greek word for “learning the secret” is “memuēmai,” which is commonly used to describe mystery. PONDER WHAT IS NOBLE
no·ble/ˈnōb(ə)l/ : Honorable & worthy of reverence.
According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
1 Peter 1:3-5
Who among the gods is like you, Lord?
Who is like you—majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders? Exodus 15:11
Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?” “Who has ever given to God that God should repay them?” For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen. Romans 11:33-36
