carmen rené flores

In this episode of All the Cunts to the Front, we’re celebrating some of history’s fiercest and most courageous women who took on the world, defied the odds, and left a lasting impact. From Queen Abbakka Chowta, India’s warrior queen who repeatedly defeated the Portuguese empire, to Harriet Tubman, the ultimate conductor of the Underground Railroad who risked her life to lead enslaved people to freedom, these women’s stories remind us of the power of resistance, resilience, and unwavering bravery. We also shine a light on Lillian Smith, an early white southern advocate for racial equality, and Queen Lili’uokalani, the Hawaiian monarch who fought for her people’s sovereignty even in the face of betrayal and imprisonment.

And we DON’T STOP THERE—we dive into the inspiring work of revolutionary activist Yuri Kochiyama, who dedicated her life to fighting oppression and building bridges between marginalized communities, and Judith Love Cohen, the aerospace engineer whose work helped save the Apollo 13 mission.

< ps Why didn’t I know about the majority of the women in these episodes so far…WTF “AMERICAN HISTORY”?!? >

These women, through their actions, legacies, and bravery, continue to inspire generations to rise, challenge, and fight for what’s right. Tune in for a journey through herstory, filled with moments of strength, defiance, and undeniable badassery.
