Illustrator, Storyteller & Creative Heart of Karey & Kareful. Born in Sydney, Australia, and now based in Midland, Texas, Anne Victoria has spent decades bringing colour, life, and emotion to her art. Her career began in commercial illustration and large-scale mural work, but her true passion was always to create for children. That dream found its perfect expression when she joined Christopher Williams to bring the Karey & Kareful stories to life.
Anne’s illustrations capture the tenderness, humour, and resilience at the heart of these tales — helping children see themselves in the characters and feel part of their adventures. For her, Karey & Kareful isn’t just an artistic project; it’s a legacy of inclusion, mateship, and hope.
