Brenda Miley
Brenda is the founder of Let’s Go Surfing, one of Australia’s most recognised surf schools and a long-standing institution of the Bondi community.
What began more than 30 yrs ago as a small surf school operating out of the back of a van at South Bondi has grown into a multi-location operation across New South Wales, introducing thousands of people from around the world to the ocean and the sport of surfing.
At a time when few women were leading businesses in the surf industry, Brenda helped create a new pathway, building a program that not only teaches surfing but also fosters confidence, community, and connection to Australia’s coastal culture.
Today, Let’s Go Surfing is widely recognised as an iconic part of the Bondi experience and an important contributor to NSW tourism, while Brenda remains a respected pioneer who has helped make the surf industry more inclusive and accessible.
