Claudia Tolhurst, Executive Officer at the Hunter Melanoma Foundation (HMF), brings deep dedication to the fight against melanoma. Her journey with HMF began over four years ago as a committee member, inspired by her sister’s melanoma experience and supporting friends who’ve lost loved ones.
Claudia’s creativity and passion drive her efforts to benefit both the Foundation and the Hunter community. She’s committed to HMF’s mission of reducing melanoma rates, ensuring all funds raised stay in the Hunter to support local education, prevention, and care initiatives.
In her words: “I am so passionate about being part of an organisation that focuses on the Hunter. Everything raised on behalf of HMF is then put back into the Hunter. It is a community-oriented not-for-profit, and that will never change.”
