Hebrews 7-10 Explained | Jesus, Melchizedek, Covenant | 12/22/25

Today’s reading in Hebrews 7–10 shows why Jesus is our eternal High Priest “according to the order of Melchizedek,” and why His once-for-all sacrifice accomplishes what the old covenant never could—cleansing our conscience and freeing us from dead works so we can serve the living God. We’re reminded that we’ve been perfected by His offering and are now learning to live out in practice what He has already secured for us in position. As the Day of His return approaches, let’s encourage one another and provoke love and good works with renewed reverence and faith.
