The construction industry attracts a broad range of individuals to work within its broad church. We have a higher concentration of neurally diverse people within our ranks and yet we still struggle to attract and retain women. Both these groups of people can provide diversity of thought and organisational resilience, which is crucial when businesses are faced with significant headwinds and they are having to change to cope with a different environment. Danny Clarke is the Engagement Director for England for the CITB. He has championed these sections of our community, demonstrating their value and their abilities. He chats to Mark about the advantages of employing a wide variety of people, the benefits this brings and the ways to get the best from them.
