The solar sector is poised for significant growth to 2030, with a forecast £17Bn add to GDP and a compound annual growth rate in excess of 14%. This will only happen if the supply chain exists to deliver this work.
Kamal Rajput leads on Strategic Business Development for TATA in the UK. He is the joint chair of the Supply Chain Steering Group for Solar Energy UK, the UKs solar trade association. This group has been formed to support industry actions from the recently published Solar Road Map and to promote growth within the UK’s supply chain.
Kam’s expertise at Business Development shines through as he assesses the opportunity for the industry to grow into a worldwide centre of excellence with support from the UK Government. He looks at the asks of Government and the benefits to UK PLC of a strong solar industry providing meaningful quantities of energy to the UK economy.
