DO WE LOVE WHAT WE HATE? ...

There are times in our lives when we focus so much on what we hate that we form a strange psychological attachment to it. So it's a fair question to ask if we love what we hate. That attachment can bring about a heightened emotional state, apparently as intense as love. In short, a stimulation that we enjoy. Keith concludes that this is probably true, citing personal experience. He is aware that the object (he doesn't give away the exact details), which is the focus of his attention, borders on becoming obsessive at times. He states that he doesn't like what that object is, but somehow it attracts him. We know about the Stockholm Syndrome, where a captive, in time, forms strong feelings for their captor - or even their abuser. It doesn't seem logical, but it does happen. Therefore, loving what we hate certainly can happen as well. And as is often the case, what you are focusing on and how much time you give to that is key.
